هذا كتاب في علوم القرآن، موضوعه إعراب ألفاظ القرآن الكريم وبيان أحكامها النحوية. وقد رتبه مؤلفه على أبواب بلغت تسعين بابًا، تناول فيها مسائل متنوعة كإضمار الجمل، وحذف المضاف، وزيادة الحروف، وإجراء الأسماء، وغير ذلك من الموضوعات المتعلقة بالإعراب واللغة في التنزيل. والكتاب منسوب خطأ إلى الزجاج، بينما مؤلفه الحقيقي هو أبو الحسن الباقولي.

Translation

This is a book on the sciences of the Qur’an. Its subject is parsing the words of the Holy Qur’an and explaining their grammatical rulings. Its author arranged it into ninety chapters, in which he dealt with various issues such as the incorporation of sentences, the deletion of the genitive, the addition of letters, the juxtaposition of nouns, and other topics related to parsing and language in revelation. The book is incorrectly attributed to Al-Zajjaj, while its real author is Abu Al-Hasan Al-Baquli.
