كتاب الإقناع في القراءات السبع، لأحمد بن علي بن أحمد بن خلف الأنصاري الغرناطي المعروف بابن الباذش، عالم بالقراءات، كان خطيب غرناطة، قال عنه الذهبي: «كان مقرئا حاذقا مجودا عارفا باللغة محدثا، له معرفة بالأسماء، وفيه دين وخير، كتب عنه الناس كثيرا». والكتاب في علم القراءات وهو: «علم بكيفية أداء كلمات القرآن واختلافها معزوًّا لناقله. فخرج بهذا التعريف علم: اللغة، والنحو، والتفسير، أو هي مذهب يذهب إليه إمام من الأئمة مخالفًا به غيره في النطق بالقرآن الكريم، مع اتفاق الروايات عنه. وهي اختلاف في اللهجات وكيفية النطق وطرق الأداء». …
Translation
The Book of Persuasion in the Seven Recitations, by Ahmed bin Ali bin Ahmed bin Khalaf Al-Ansari Al-Gharnati, known as Ibn Al-Badash, a scholar of recitations. He was the preacher of Granada. Al-Dhahabi said about him: “He was a skilled reciter, skilled, knowledgeable of the language, a conversant, knowledgeable of names, and of religion and goodness. People wrote about him a lot.” The book is about the science of recitations, which is: “knowledge of how the words of the Qur’an are performed and their differences, attributed to its transmitter. With this definition, science emerged: language, grammar, and interpretation, or it is a doctrine followed by one of the imams, differing from others in pronouncing the Holy Qur’an, with the narrations agreeing on it. It is a difference in dialects, pronunciation, and methods of performance.” …
