كتاب في علوم القرآن، يختص بمسألة عدّ آيات القرآن الكريم، فيذكر عدد آيات كل سورة وفق المذاهب المختلفة (المدني الأول والآخر، المكي، الكوفي، البصري، الشامي)، مع بيان مواضع الاتفاق والاختلاف بين أئمة الأمصار. يتناول الكتاب أيضًا معرفة كلم القرآن وحروفه، وخموسه وعشوره، وتمييز مكيه من مدنيه، مستندًا إلى السنن والآثار الواردة في ذلك عن السلف.
Translation
A book on the sciences of the Qur’an. It specializes in the issue of counting the verses of the Holy Qur’an. It mentions the number of verses of each surah according to the different schools of thought (the first Medinan and the last, the Meccan, the Kufi, the Basri, and the Levant), with an explanation of the areas of agreement and disagreement between the imams of the regions. The book also deals with knowing the words and letters of the Qur’an, its khums and tithes, and distinguishing Mecca from Medina, based on the Sunnahs and the traditions mentioned in this regard from the predecessors.
