About this work
Translation
The book “Bayan Al-Ma’ani” by Mulla Hawish is an interpretation of the Holy Qur’an, whose chapters and verses are arranged according to the order of revelation, and not according to the order found in the circulating Qur’an. The book begins with a lengthy introduction that includes fundamental topics in the sciences of the Qur’an, such as the principles that the interpreter needs, the conditions of the interpreters, the abrogated and abrogated, readings, and how to compile and arrange the Qur’an. Then he begins to interpret the Meccan surahs, beginning with Surat Al-Alaq, explaining the meanings of the verses and the reasons for their revelation, seeking to achieve the purpose of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib in revealing the history of the revelation and its purposes.
