كتاب في علوم القرآن، جمع فيه مؤلفه أبو عبيد القاسم بن سلام جملةً من الأحاديث والآثار المتعلقة بفضل القرآن الكريم وتعلمه وتعليمه، وبيان آداب تلاوته وحملته. يتناول الكتاب موضوعات متنوعة تشمل فضل قراءة القرآن والاستماع إليه، وفضل أهله وتقديمهم، وأحكام تتعلق بقراءته كالترتيل وتحسين الصوت به، ومسائل في ختمه والمواظبة على ورده، مع بيان ما ينبغي لحامل القرآن من الأدب والتعظيم، والتحذير من نسيانه أو الاستئكال به.

Translation

A book on the sciences of the Qur’an, in which its author, Abu Ubaid al-Qasim bin Salam, collected a number of hadiths and traces related to the merits of the Holy Qur’an, its learning and teaching, and an explanation of the etiquette of its recitation and carrying it. The book deals with various topics, including the virtue of reading and listening to the Qur’an, the virtue and honor of its people, rulings related to reciting it such as recitation and improving one’s voice with it, and issues regarding concluding it and reciting it regularly, with an explanation of the etiquette and glorification that should be given to the bearer of the Qur’an, and a warning against forgetting it or relying on it.
