كتاب "معاني القراءات" للأزهري هو مؤلف في علوم القرآن، يهتم ببيان معاني القراءات القرآنية المختلفة وأوجهها. يبدأ الكتاب بمقدمة للمصنف يتناول فيها تيسير الله لحفظ القرآن، ثم يورد أسانيد القراءات للقراء السبعة كابن كثير وعاصم وحمزة، متبعًا ذلك بتفسير معاني الآيات القرآنية سورةً سورة، مبتدئًا بالفاتحة ثم البقرة، مع التركيز على شرح الكلمات والتراكيب التي وردت فيها قراءات متعددة.
Translation
The book “Meanings of Recitations” by Al-Azhari is a book on the sciences of the Qur’an, concerned with explaining the meanings and aspects of various Quranic recitations. The book begins with an introduction to the work in which it discusses God’s facilitation of memorizing the Qur’an, then provides the evidence for the readings of the seven reciters, such as Ibn Kathir, Asim, and Hamza, followed by an interpretation of the meanings of the Qur’anic verses, surah by surah, beginning with Al-Fatihah and then Al-Baqarah, with a focus on explaining the words and structures in which multiple readings occur.
