Translation
The book “Elevators of Consideration for Supervising the Objectives of the Surahs” by Burhan al-Din al-Baqa’i is a book on the sciences of the Qur’an. It aims to explain the purposes of the surahs of the Holy Qur’an and link their names to their meanings. The book includes an introduction and reports from a number of scholars, then deals with various topics such as the virtue of the Qur’an, how the revelation was revealed, and the criterion of Meccan and Medina, with a focus on the purpose of each surah, starting with Surat Al-Fatiha.
