Yazid bin Harun told us, he said: Muhammad bin Ishaq told us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Amr bin Ata, on the authority of Sulayman bin Yasar, on the authority of Salamah bin Sakhr Al-Ansari said, “I was a woman who had been given by intercourse with women what no one else had been given, so when Ramadan came, I pretended to have intercourse with my wife until he removed himself.” Ramadan is different from when something happens to me during my night and I continue with that until the day overtakes me and I am not able to remove it, so between us is it. She was serving me when something about her revealed to me and I remained steadfast in it. When I woke up in the morning, I went out to my people and told them my news and said to them, “Go with me.” To the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and tell him about my situation. They said, “No, by God, we will not do it. We are afraid that the Qur’an will be revealed about us or that it will say about us.” The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said an article whose shame remains upon us, but you go and do what you wish. He said, “So I went out and came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.” Peace and blessings of God be upon him. So I told him my news, and he said to me, “You are that,” and I said, “I am that.” He said, “You are that,” and I said, “I am that.” He said, “You are that,” and I said, “Yes.” Here I am, so the judgment of God Almighty has passed upon me, for I am patient with Him. He said, “Free a slave.” He said, “So I struck the back of my neck with my hand and said, ‘No,’ and by that He sent you with the truth. I have no power to do anything else. He said, “So fast for two months.” He said, “I said, ‘O Messenger of God, has anything happened to me that has happened to me except during fasting?’” He said So he gave alms. He said, “I said, ‘By the One who sent you with the truth, we have spent this night in the middle of the night without having any supper.’ He said, ‘Go to the owner of the charity of my son. Zuraiq, so tell him to give it to you, and I will feed sixty poor people with a waterq of dates on your behalf, then seek help from the rest of it on yourself and on your dependents. He said So I returned to my people and said, “I found with you distress and bad opinion, and I found with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, abundance and blessing.” He had commanded I owe you your charity, so give it to me. He said, so give it to me.
