الطارق
86. At-Tariq
- 1
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلطَّارِقِ
Meaning: By the sky and the night comer
- 2
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلطَّارِقُ
Meaning: And what can make you know what is the night comer
- 3
ٱلنَّجۡمُ ٱلثَّاقِبُ
Meaning: It is the piercing star
- 4
إِن كُلُّ نَفۡسٖ لَّمَّا عَلَيۡهَا حَافِظٞ
Meaning: There is no soul but that it has over it a protector
- 5
فَلۡيَنظُرِ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مِمَّ خُلِقَ
Meaning: So let man observe from what he was created
- 6
خُلِقَ مِن مَّآءٖ دَافِقٖ
Meaning: He was created from a fluid, ejected
- 7
يَخۡرُجُ مِنۢ بَيۡنِ ٱلصُّلۡبِ وَٱلتَّرَآئِبِ
Meaning: Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs
- 8
إِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ رَجۡعِهِۦ لَقَادِرٞ
Meaning: Indeed, Allah, to return him [to life], is Able
- 9
يَوۡمَ تُبۡلَى ٱلسَّرَآئِرُ
Meaning: The Day when secrets will be put on trial
- 10
فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن قُوَّةٖ وَلَا نَاصِرٖ
Meaning: Then man will have no power or any helper
- 11
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلرَّجۡعِ
Meaning: By the sky which returns [rain]
- 12
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ ذَاتِ ٱلصَّدۡعِ
Meaning: And [by] the earth which cracks open
- 13
إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوۡلٞ فَصۡلٞ
Meaning: Indeed, the Qur'an is a decisive statement
- 14
وَمَا هُوَ بِٱلۡهَزۡلِ
Meaning: And it is not amusement
- 15
إِنَّهُمۡ يَكِيدُونَ كَيۡدٗا
Meaning: Indeed, they are planning a plan
- 16
وَأَكِيدُ كَيۡدٗا
Meaning: But I am planning a plan
- 17
فَمَهِّلِ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ أَمۡهِلۡهُمۡ رُوَيۡدَۢا
Meaning: So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile
