Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنْ رَسُولُ اللَّهْ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَِ وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بِشْرٍ أَوْلَى بِالصَّوَابِ .. Having preached to us [Ahmad bin Sulaiman], he said; has told us [Abu Daud] from [Sufyan] from ['Ubaidullah bin Umar] from [Nafi'] from [Ibn Umar] radliallahu 'anhuma, he said; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade shaving part of the head's hair. Abu Abdur Rahman said; "The hadith of Yahya bin Sa'id and Muhammad Bisyr are more correct (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5051.) 2nd hadith. God bless you سُفْيَانُ، أَخُو قَبِيصَةَ وَمُعََةُ God bless you God willing God bless you " ." God bless you " لَمْ أَعْنِكَ وَهَذَا أَحْسَنُ " .. Having preached to us [Mahmud bin Ghailan], he said; has told us [Sufyan Qabishah's brother] and [Mu'awiyah bin Hisham] they said; has told us [Sufyan], he said; has told us ['Ashim bin Kulaib] from [his father] from [Wail bin Hujr], he said; "I met the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam while I had (long) hair, then he said: "fly" I thought that he meant me then I cut it and went to him, he said to me: "I don't mean you but this is better (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5052.) 3rd Hadith. God willing God bless you قَتَادَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ كَانَ شَعْرُ God willing God willing .. Having preached to us [Muhammad bin Al Mutsanna], he said; has told us [Wahb bin Jarir], he said; had told us [my father], he said; "I heard [Qatadah] tell a story from [Anas], he said; "The Prophet's hair, sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, was hair that was neither curly nor straight, (it fell) between his ears and shoulders (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5053.) 4th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وسلم أَنْ يَمْتَشِطَ أَحَدُنَا كُلَّ يَوْمٍ .. Having preached to us [Qutaibah], he said; has told us [Abu Awanah] from [Daud Al Audi] from [Humaid bin Abdur Rahman Al Himyari], he said; "I met [a man] who had accompanied the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam as Abu Hurairah accompanied him for four years, he said; "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade us to comb our hair every day (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5054.) 5th Hadith. Allah's blessings يُونُسَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهْ الله عليه وسلم عَنِ التَّرَجُّلِ إِلاَّ غِبًّا .. Has preached to us [Ali bin Hujr], he said; has told us [Isa bin Yunus] from [Hisyam bin Hassan] from [Al Hasan] from [Abdullah bin Mughaffal], he said; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade combing except during the day (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5055.) 6th Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو God willing قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنِ التَّرَجُّلِ إِلاَّ غِبًّا .. Having preached to us [Muhammad bin Basyar], he said; has told us [Abu Daud], he said; has told us [Hammad bin Salamah] from [Qatadah] from [Al Hasan] that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade combing hair except on alternate days (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5056.) 7th Hadith. God willing يُونُسَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، وَمُحَمَّدٍ، قَالاَ التَّرَجُّلُ غِبٌّ .. Having preached to us [Qutaibah], he said; have related to us [Bisyr] from [Yunus] from [Al Hasan] and [Muhammad], they said; "Combing is done every day (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5057.) 8th Hadith. God bless you, God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God bless you الله عليه وسلم عَامِلاً بِمِصْرَ فَأَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ God willing لِي أَرَاكَ مُشْعَانًّا وَأَنْتَ أَمِيرٌ قَالَ كَانَ نَبِيُّ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing قُلْنَا وَمَا الإِرْفَاهُ قَالَ التَّرَجُّلُ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ .. Having preached to us [Isma'il bin Mas'ud], he said; has told us [Khalid bin Al Harith] from [Kahmas] from [Abdullah bin Syaqiq], he said; "There was a friend of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam who was governor in Egypt, then he was visited by one of his friends who found him with messy, irregular hair. The person said: "Why do I see your hair is irregular when you are a leader?" [He] said; "Previously the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade us from irfah. We ask; "What is Irfah?" He said; "Combing every day (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5058.) 9th Hadith. God bless you عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدْ Allah's blessings قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُحِبُّ God bless you وَيُحِبُّ التَّيَمُّنَ فِي جَمِيعِ أُمُورِهِ .. Having preached to us [Muhammad bin Ma'mar], he said; has told us [Abu 'Ashim] from [Muhammad bin Bisyr] from [Ash'ath bin Abu Asy Asy'tsa`] from [Al Aswad bin Yazid] from [Aisyah], he said; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam liked to start things with the right, he took with the right hand, gave with the right hand, and liked to start with the right in all things (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5059.) 10th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعَافَى، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ أَِي God willing God willing عليه وسلم وَجُمَّتُهُ تَضْرِبُ مَنْكِبَيْهِ .. Having preached to us [Muhammad bin Abdullah bin 'Ammar], he said; has told us [Al Mu'afa] from [Israil] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Al Bara`], he said; "I don't see anyone better when wearing red clothes than Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam and his hair touched both of his shoulders (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5060.) 11th Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَمَا God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وسلم إِلَى أَنْصَافِ أُذُنَيْهِ .. Having preached to us [Ishaq bin Ibrahim], he said; has reported to us [Abdur Razzaq], he said; has told us [Ma'mar] from [Tsabit] from [Anas], he said; "The hair of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam reached the middle of his ears (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5061.) 12th Hadith. God willing God bless you God willing مَا رَأَيْتُ رَجُلاً أَحْسَنَ فِي حُلَّةٍ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings. قَرِيبًا مِنْ مَنْكِبَيْهِ .. Having preached to us [Abdul Hamid bin Muhammad], he said; has told us [Makhlad], he said; has told us [Yunus bin Abu Ishaq] from [his father], he said; has told me [Al Bara`], he said; "I don't see anyone better when wearing red clothes than Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam." He also said; "I also saw that his hair almost touched his shoulders (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5062.) 13th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ عَلَى قِرَاءَةِ مَنْ God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings لَصَاحِبُ ذُؤَابَتَيْنِ يَلْعَبُ مَعَ الصِّبْيَانِ .. Having preached to us [Al Hasan bin Isma'il bin Sulaiman], he said; has told us [Abdah bin Sulaiman] from [Al A'masy] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Hubairah bin Yarim], he said; [Abdullah bin Mas'ud] said; based on whose reading do you order me to read? Indeed, I have read the Koran under (the instructions of) Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, more than seventy letters, whereas Zaid at that time was a person with two topknots who was playing with the children (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5063.) 14th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، قَالَ Allah's blessings أَقْرَأُ عَلَى قِرَاءَةِ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ بَعْدَ مَا قَرَأْتُ مِنْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِضْعًا وَسَبْعِينَ سُورَةً وَإِنَّ زَيْدًا مَعَ الْغِلْمَانِ لَهُ ذُؤَابَتَانِ .. Having preached to me, [Ibrahim bin Ya'qub], he said; has told us [Sa'id bin Sulaiman], he said; has told us [Abu Shihab], he said; has told us [Al A'masy] from [Abu Wail], he said; [Ibn Mas'ud] preached to us, he said; "How can you order me to read based on Zaid bin Thabit's reading after I read from the mouth of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam seventy and so letters? Meanwhile Zaid was with several children and he had two topknots (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5064.) 15th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الصَّلْتُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing قَالَ لَمَّا قَدِمَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم God bless you " ادْنُ مِنِّي " . فَدَنَا مِنْهُ فَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ عَلَى God willing لَهُ .. Has preached to us [Ibrahim bin Al Mustamir Al 'Uruqi], he said; has told us [Ash Shalt bin Muhammad], he said; has told us [Ghassan bin Al Agharr bin Hushain An Nahsyali], he said; has told me [my uncle, namely Ziyad bin Al Hushain] from [his father], he said; "When the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam arrived in Medina, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said to him: "Come closer to me." Then he came closer to him then he put his hand in his braided hair and moved his hands and prayed for blessings for him (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5065.) 16th Hadith. Allah's blessings قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ وَائِلَ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَلِي جُمَّةٌ قَالَ " ذُبَابٌ " . وَظَنَنْتُ أَنَّهُ يَعْنِينِي فَانْطَلَقْتُ فَأَخَذْْ شَعْرِي فَقَالَ .. Having preached to us [Ahmad bin Harb], he said; has told us [Qasim], he said; has told us [Sufyan] from ['Ashim bin Kulaib] from [his father] from [Wail bin Hujr], he said; "I came to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam while I had hair that hung down to my shoulders, he said: "Flies." I thought that he meant me, so I went and cut it then he said to me: "I don't mean you but this is better (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5066.) 17th Hadith. Allah's blessings وَهْبٍ، عَنْ حَيْوَةَ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ، وَذَكَرَ، آخَرَ قَبْلَهُ عَنْ عَيَّاشِ بْنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing " يَا رُوَيْفِعُ لَعَلَّ الْحَيَاةَ سَتَطُولُ بِكَ بَعْدِي God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing عَظْمٍ فَإِنَّ مُحَمَّدًا بَرِيءٌ مِنْهُ " .. Having preached to us [Muhammad bin Salamah], he said; has told us [Ibn Wahb] from [Haiwah bin Syuraih] and he mentioned another person before him from ['Ayyasy bin Abbas Al Qitbani] that [Syuyaim bin Baitan] had told him that he heard [Ruwaifi' bin Thabit] say; "Indeed, Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "O Ruwaifi', may your life be long after my death, so let people know that whoever ties up his beard or strings a bow or performs a prayer using animal dung or bones, Muhammad is truly free from it (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5067.) 18th Hadith. God willing عُمَارَةَ بْنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing نَهَى عَنْ نَتْفِ الشَّيْبِ .. It has been reported to us [Qutaibah] from [Abdul Aziz] from ['Umarah bin Ghaziyyah] from ['Amr bin Syu'aib] from [his father] from [his grandfather] that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade plucking gray hair (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5068.) 19th hadith. God willing قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمِّي، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ صَالِحٍ، God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ عَنّ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنْ هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " الْيَهُودُ وَالنَّصَارَى لاَ تَصْبُغُ فَخَالِفُوهُمْ " .. Having preached to us ['Ubaidullah bin Sa'd bin Ibrahim], he said; had told us [my uncle], he said; has told us [my father] from [Shaleh] from [Ibn Shihab], he said; [Abu Salamah] said; "Verily [Abu Hurairah] said; "Indeed the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam.... And has preached to us [Yunus bin Abdul A'la], he said; has reported to us [Ibn Wahb], he said; it was reported to me [Yunus] from [Ibn Shihab] from [Abu Salamah bin Abdur Rahman], it was reported to me from [Abu Hurairah] that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "The Jews and the Christians do not dye their hair, so separate them." Having preached to us [Ishaq bin Ibrahim], he said; has reported to us [Abdur Rozaq], he said; has told us [Ma'mar] from [Az Zuhri] from [Abu Salamah] from [Abu Hurairah] from Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam like that (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5069.) 20th hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings لاَ تَصْبُغُ فَخَالِفُوا عَلَيْهِمْ فَاصْبُغُوا " .. Having preached to me [Al Husain bin Huraits], he said; has reported to us [Al Fadhl bin Musa] from [Ma'mar] from [Az Zuhri] from [Abu Salamah] from [Abu Hurairah], he said; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Indeed, Jews and Christians do not dye their hair, so differentiate between them, and polish your hair (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5071.) 21st Hadith. - وَهُوَ ابْنُ يُونُسَ - عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنّ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing " إِنَّ الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى لاَ تَصْبُغُ فَخَالِفُوهُمْ " .. Having preached to us [Ali bin Khasyram], he said; has told us [Isa, namely Ibn Yunus] from [Al Auza'i] from [Az Zuhri] from [Sulaiman] and [Abu Salamah bin Abdur Rahman] from [Abu Hurairah] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "Indeed the Jews and Christians do not dye their hair so they are different (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5072.) 22nd Hadith. أَخْبَرَنِي عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " غَيِّرُوا الشَّيْبَ وَلاَ تَشَبَّهُوا بِالْيَهُودِ " .. Having preached to me [Uthman bin Abdullah], he said; has told us [Ahmad bin Janab], he said; has told us [Isa bin Yunus] from [Hisyam bin 'Urwah] from [his father] from [Ibn Umar], he said; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Change your gray hair and do not imitate the Jews (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5073.) 23rd Hadith. God bless you مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كُنَاسَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ God willing God willing " غَيِّرُوا الشَّيْبَ وَلاَ تَشَبَّهُوا بِالْيَهُودِ " . وَكِلاَهُمَا غَيْرُ مَحْفُوظٍ .. Having preached to us [Humaid bin Makhlad bin Al Husain], he said; has told us [Muhammad bin Kunasah], he said; has told us [Hisyam bin 'Urwah] from [Uthman bin 'Urwah] from [his father] from [Az Zubair], he said; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Change your gray hair and do not imitate the Jews." Both of them are not awake (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5074.) 24th Hadith. God willing الْحَلَبِيُّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَمْرٍو - God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing " قَوْمٌ يَخْضِبُونَ بِهَذَا السَّوَادْ لاَ يَرِيحُونَ رَائِحَةَ الْجَنَّةِ " .. Has preached to us [Abdur Rahman bin 'Ubaidullah Al Halabi] from ['Ubaidullah namely Ibn Amr] from [Abdul Karim] from [Sa'id bin Jubair] from [Ibn Abbas], and he interpreted it that he said; "There will be a people who dye their hair black at the end of time like the beaks of doves, they will not smell the smell of Heaven (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5075.) 25th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ وَرَأْسُهُ وَلِحْيَتُهُ كَالثَّغَامَةِ بَيَاضًا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم "" غَيِّرُوا هَذَا بِشَىْءٍ وَاجْتَنِبُوا السَّوَادَ " .. Having preached to us [Yunus bin Abdul A'la], he said; has told us [Ibn Wahb], he said; has preached to me [Ibn Juraij] from [Abu Az Zubair] from [Jabir], he said; "At the time of the conquest of Mecca Abu Quhafah came with his hair and beard white like Tsaghamah, then Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Change these gray hairs with something and avoid black (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5076.) 26th Hadith. God willing God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind "" .. Having preached to us [Muhammad bin Muslim], he said; has told us [Yahya bin Ya'la], he said; [my father] has told it to us from [Ghailan] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Ibn Abu Laila] from [Abu Dharr] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "The most important things you use to turn white hair are henna and katam (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5077.) 27th Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ الأَجْلَحِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace God willing وَالْكَتَمُ " .. Having preached to us [Ya'qub bin Ibrahim], he said; has told us [Yahya bin Sa'id] from [Al Ajlah] from [Abdullah bin Buraidah] from [Abu Al Aswad Ad Dili] from [Abu Dzar], he said; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Indeed, the best things that you can use to change gray hair are henna and katam (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5078.) 28th Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَشْعَثَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنِ God bless you God willing God willing " إِنَّ مِنْ أَحْسَنِ مَا غَيَّرْتُمْ بِهِ الشَّيْبَ الْحِنَّاءَ وَالْكَتَمَ " .. Having preached to us [Muhammad bin Abdur Rahman bin Asy'ats], he said; has told me [Muhammad bin Isa], he said; has told us [Husyaim], he said; had preached to me [Ibnu Abu Laila] from [Al Ajlah], then I met Al Ajlah then he told me from [Ibnu Buraidah] from [Abu Al Aswad Ad Dili] from [Abu Dzar], he said; "I heard the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "Indeed, the best things you can use to change gray hair are henna and katam (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5079.) 29th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings بِهِ الشَّيْبَ الْحِنَّاءُ وَالْكَتَمُ " ." الْجُرَيْرِيُّ وَكَهْمَسٌ .. Having preached to us [Qutaibah], he said; has told us ['Abtsar] from [Al Ajlah] from [Abdullah bin Buraidah] from [Abu Al Aswad Ad Dili] from [Abu Dzar], he said; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Indeed, the best things you use to change gray hair are henna and katam." Al Jurairi and Kahmas disagreed (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan An-Nasa'i no. 5080.) 30th Hadith.
