Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing صُهْبَانَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُثْمَانَ بْنا God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing عليه وسلم ـ .. Has narrated to us [Ali bin Muhammad] said, has narrated to us [Waki'] said, has narrated to us [Ash Shalt bin Dinar] from ['Uqbah bin Shubhan] said; I heard [Uthman bin Affan] say: "Since I swore the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam with my hand, I have never sung, never dreamed and never held my genitals with my right hand (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 311.) 2nd hadith. God bless you God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ "" لِيَسْتَنْجِ بِشِمَالِهِ " .. Has told us [Ya'qub bin Humaid bin Kasib] said, has told us [Al Mughirah bin Abdurrahman] and [Abdullah bin Raja` Al Makki] from [Muhammad bin 'Ajlan] from [Al Qa'qa' bin Hakim] from [Abu Salih] from [Abu Hurairah] he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "If you perform istinja` then do not use your right hand, let him perform istinja` using his left hand (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 312.) 3rd Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " لَكُمْ مِثْلُ الْوَالِدِ لِوَلَدِهِ أُعَلِّمُكُمْ إِذَا God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing تَسْتَدْبِرُوهَا " . وَأَمَرَ بِثَلاَثَةِ أَحْجَارٍ God willing الرَّجُلُ بِيَمِينِهِ .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Ash Shabbah] said, has told us [Sufyan bin 'Uyainah] from [Ibn 'Ajlan] from [Al Qa'qa' bin Hakim] from [Abu Salih] from [Abu Hurairah] he said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "My position for you is like a father to his child, I will teach you; if you want to relieve yourself then do not face the Qibla or turn your back to it." He ordered to pray with three stones and forbade using animal dung and bones. And he also forbade a male cebok to use his right hand (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 313.) 4th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God bless you God willing وَلَكِنْ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الأَسْوَدِ - عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings بِثَلاَثَةِ أَحْجَارٍ " ." love وَقَالَ " هِيَ رِجْسٌ " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Khallad] said, has told us [Yahya bin Sa'id Al Qaththan] from [Zuhair] from [Abu Ishaq] he said; it was not Abu Ubaidah that he mentioned, but [Abdurrahman bin Al Aswad] from [Al Aswad] from [Abdullah bin Mas'ud] said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam defecated, then he said: "Take me three stones." So I took him two stones and animal dung. Then he took two stones and threw animal dung while saying: "It is dirty (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 314.) 5th Hadith. Has told us [Muhammad bin Ash Shabbah] said, has told us [Sufyan bin Uyainah]. And according to another line; Has told us [Ali bin Muhammad] said, has told us [Waki'] everything from [Hisyam bin Urwah] from [Abu Khuzaimah] from [Umarah bin Khuzaimah] from [Khuzaimah bin Thabit] he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said regarding istinja`: "You should use three stones and not use dirt (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 315.) 6th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing love God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you الْخِرَاءَةِ . قَالَ أَجَلْ أَمَرَنِلَ God bless you نَكْتَفِيَ بِدُونِ ثَلاَثَةِ أَحْجَارٍ لَيْسَ فِيهَا رَجِيعٌ وَلاَ عَظْمٌ .. Has told us [Ali bin Muhammad] said, has told us [Waki'] from [Al A'masy]. And according to another line; Has told us [Muhammad bin Basysyar] said, has told us [Abdurrahman] said, has told us [Sufyan] from [Al Mansur] and [Al A'masy] from [Ibrahim] from [Abdurrahman bin Yazid] from [Salman] he said; The polytheists spoke to him with the intention of insulting them, they said; "Indeed, I saw your friend (Muhammad) teaching you everything, including urinating!" Salman answered; "Yes, he ordered us not to face the Qibla and not to pray with our right hand. And we should not be satisfied with just three stones, which do not include dirt and bones (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 316.) 7th Hadith. God bless you ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ " لاَ يَبُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةِ " . وَأَنَا أَوَّلُ مَنْ حَدَّثَ النَّاسَ بِذَلِكَ .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Rumh Al Mishri] has told us [Al Laits bin Sa'd] from [Yazid bin Abi Habib] that he heard [Abdullah bin Al Harith bin Jaz`i Az Zubaidi] say; I was the first to hear the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "None of you should urinate while facing the Qibla." And I was the person who first conveyed this hadith to people (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 317.) 8th Hadith. God willing God willing يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings الَّذِي يَذْهَبُ إِلَى الْغَائِطِ الْقِبْلَةَ وَقَالَ " شَرِّقُوا أَوْ غَرِّبُوا " .. Has told us [Abu Ath Thahir Ahmad bin Amru bin As Sarh] said, has told us [Abdullah bin Wahb] said, has told me [Yunus] from [Ibnu Shihab] from ['Atho`] That he heard [Abu Ayyub Al Ansari] say; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade people who wanted to defecate facing the Qibla. He said: "Facing east or west (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 318.) 9th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace وسلم ـ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ أَنْ نَسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَتَيْنِ بِغَائِطٍ أَوْ بِبَوْلٍ .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Khalid bin Makhlad] from [Sulaiman bin Bilal] said, has told me ['Amru bin Yahya Al Mazi] from [Abu Zaid] former slave of Ats Tsa'labiyyin, from [Ma'qil bin Abu Ma'qil Al Asadi] -a friend of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam- he said; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade us to face two Qiblas when defecating or urinating (Degree: authentic. God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وسلم ـ نَهَانِي أَنْ أَشْرَبَ قَائِمًا وَأَنْ أَبُولَ مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةِ .. Has told us [Abbas bin Walid Ad Dimasyqi] said, has told us [Marwan bin Muhammad] said, has told us [Ibnu Lahi'ah] from [Abu Zubair] from [Jabir bin Abdullah] said, has told me [Abu Sa'id Al Khudri] he testified to Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, that he forbade us to face the Qibla when defecating or urinating. Abul Hasan bin Salamah said; has told us Umair bin Mirdas Ad Daunaqi said, has told us Abdurrahman bin Ibrahim Abu Yahya Al Bashri said, has told us Ibn Lahi'ah from Abu Az Zubair from Jabir that he heard Abu Sa'id Al Khudri say; "The Messenger of Allah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade me to drink while standing and urinate facing the Qibla (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 321.) 11th Hadith. God bless you God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ خَلاَّدٍ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَنْبَأَنَا God bless you God willing God willing God bless you Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you الْمَقْدِسِ . هَذَا حَدِيثُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ هَارُونَ .. Has told us [Hisyam bin Ammar] said, has told us [Abdul Hamid bin Habib] said, has told us [Al Auza'i] said, has told me [Yahya bin Sa'id Al Ansari]. And according to what has been told to us [Abu Bakr bin Khallad] and [Muhammad bin Yahya] both said; has told us [Yazid bin Harun] said, has told us [Yahya bin Sa'id] that [Muhammad bin Yahya bin Habban] told him, that his uncle [Wasi' bin Habban] told him, that [Abdullah bin Umar] said; People say; "If you sit defecating then don't face the Qibla," indeed one day I was climbing above our house, then I saw the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam sitting on two bricks facing Baitul Maqdis." This is the hadith of Yazid bin Harun (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 322.) 12th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدَ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings عليه وسلم ـ فِي كَنِيفِهِ مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةِ . قَالَ عِيسَى فَقُلْتُ ذَلِكَ لِلشَّعْبِيِّ فَقَالَ صَدَقَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. هُرَيْرَةَ فَقَالَ فِي الصَّحْرَاءِ لاَ يَسْتَقْبِلِ God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace فِيهِ حَيْثُ شِئْتَ . قَالَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَاتِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Yahya] said, has told us [Ubaidullah bin Musa] from [Isa Al Hannath] from [Nafi'] from [Ibn Umar] said; "I saw Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam facing the Qibla in his toilet." Jesus said; I conveyed this to Ash Sya'bi, so he said; "It is true what Ibn Umar and Abu Hurairah said." As for Abu Hurairah, he said; "In the desert, do not face the Qibla or turn your back to it." Meanwhile, Ibn Umar said; "Indeed, the toilet has no Qibla, so face it as you like (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 323.) 13th Hadith. God willing مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing ذُكِرَ عِنْدَ رَسُولَ يَكْرَهُونَ أَنْ يَسْتَقْبِلُوا بِفُرُوجِهِمُ الْقِبْلَةَ فَقَالَ " أُرَاهُمْ قَدْ فَعَلُوهَا اسْتَقْبِلُوا بِمَقْعَدَتِي الْقِبْلَةَ " . قَالَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْقَطَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing مِثْلَهُ .. It has been told to us that [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] and [Ali bin Muhammad] both said; has told us [Waki'] from [Hammad bin Salamah] from [Khalid Al Hadzdza`] from [Khalid bin Abu Ash Shalt] from [Irak bin Malik] from [Aisyah] said; "A people who do not like facing the Qibla with their genitals (defecating) were mentioned on the side of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. So he said: "I think they have done it, you should face the Qibla (when defecating indoors, pent)." Abu Al Hasan Al Qaththan said; Has told us Yahya bin Ubaid said, has told us Abdul Aziz Ibnul Mughirah from Khalid Al Hadzdza` from Khalid bin Abu Ash Shalt as in the hadith above (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 324.) 14th Hadith. Allah's blessings Allah's blessings God willing God willing God bless you يُقْبَضَ بِعَامٍ يَسْتَقْبِلُهَا .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Basysyar] said, has told us [Wahb bin Jarir] said, has told us [my father] said; I heard [Muhammad bin Ishaq] from [Aban bin Salih] from [Mujahid] from [Jabir] he said; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade us to urinate facing the Qibla. However, a year before his death, he urinated facing the Qibla (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 325.) 15th Hadith. Allah's blessings love God bless you God willing رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ "" أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَنْتُرْ ذَكَرَهُ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ " . قَالَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind زَمْعَةُ، فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ .. Has told us [Ali bin Muhammad] said, has told us [Waki']. And according to another line; Has told us [Muhammad bin Yahya] said, has told us [Abu Nu'aim] said; has told us [Zam'ah bin Salih] from [Isa bin Yazdad Al Yamani] from [his father] he said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "If one of you urinates, massage his genitals three times." Abu Al Hasan bin Salamah said; has told us Ali bin Abdul Aziz said, has told us Abu Nu'aim said, has told us Zam'ah, then he mentioned as in the hadith (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 326.) 16th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing God willing God willing فَاتَّبَعَهُ عُمَرُ بِمَاءٍ فَقَالَ " مَا هَذَا يَا عُمَرُ " . قَالَ مَاءٌ . قَالَ " مَا أُمِرْتُ كُلَّمَا God willing .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Abu Usamah] from [Abdullah bin Yahya At Tau`amah] from [Ibnu Abu Awalkah] from [His mother] from [Aisyah] he said; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam went to urinate, then Umar followed him with water. He then asked: "What is this, O Umar?" Umar answered; "Water," he said: "Every time I finished urinating I was not ordered to perform ablution, if I did it it would be sunnah (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 327.) 17th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing قَالَ كَانَ مُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ يَتَحَدَّثُ بِمَا لَمْ يَسْمَعْ أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ God bless you عَمْرٍو مَا يَتَحَدَّثُ بِهِ فَقَالَ وَْتُ God bless you مُعَاذٌ أَنْ يَفْتِنَكُمْ فِي الْخَلاَءِ . فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ مُعَاذًا فَلَقِيَهُ فَقَالَ مُعَاذٌ يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings قَالَهُ لَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ " اتَّقُوا الْمَلاَعِنَ الثَّلاَثَ الْبَرَازَ فِي الْمَوَارِدِ وَالظِّلِّ وَقَارِعَةِ الطَّرِيقِ " .. Has told us [Harmalah bin Yahya] said, has told us [Abdullah bin Wahab] said, has told me [Nafi' bin Yazid] from [Haiwah bin Syuraih] that [Abu Sa'id Al Himyari] told him, he said; [Mu'adz bin Jabal] narrated hadiths that were not heard by the other companions, and were silent about what they heard. So what he said came to Abdullah bin 'Amru, so Abdullah bin 'Amru said; "By Allah, I have never heard Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam say something like this. And (I'm afraid) Mu'adz will create a fitnah for you regarding the problem of defecation." These words reached Mu'adz's ears so he met him and said; "O Abdullah bin 'Amru, actually denying the hadith of the Messenger of Allah is an act of nifak, and the sin is borne by the person who utters it. Indeed, I have heard the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "Fear you the three places that are cursed; defecating in public places, in shelters, and in the middle of the road (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 328.) 18th Hadith. God bless you God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " God willing, God willing, God willing وَالصَّلاَةَ عَلَيْهَا فَإِنَّهَا مَأْوَى الْحَيَّاتِ وَالسِّبَاعِ وَقَضَاءَ الْحَاجَةِ عَلَيْهََ الْمَلاَعِنِ " .. Has narrated to us [Muhammad bin Yahya] said, has narrated to us ['Amru bin Abu Salamah] from [Zuhair] he said; [Salim] said; I heard [Al Hasan] say; Has told us [Jabir bin Abdullah] he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Do not rest, pray or defecate in the middle of the road. Because it is a place for snakes and wild animals, and it is also a place that is cursed (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 329.) 19th hadith. God bless you Allah's blessings شِهَابٍ، عَنْ or God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing أَوْ يُضْرَبَ الْخَلاَءُ عَلَيْهَا أَوْ يُبَالَ فِيهَا .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Yahya] said, has told us [Amru bin Khalid] said, has told us [Ibn Lahi'ah] from [Qurrah] from [Ibn Shihab] from [Salim] from [His father] said; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade praying in the middle of the road, or making it a place to defecate, or urinating there (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 330.) 20th hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ إِذَا ذَهَبَ الْمَذْهَبَ أَبْعَدَ .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Isma'il bin 'Ulaiyah] from [Muhammad bin Amru] from [Abu Salamah] from [Mughirah bin Shu'bah] he said; "When Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam wanted to go to defecate, he always stayed away (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 331.) 21st Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing لِحَاجَتِهِ ثُمَّ جَاءَ فَدَعَا بِوَضُوءٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Numair] said, has told us [Muhammad bin Ubaid] from [Muhammad bin Al Mutsanna] from ['Atho` Al Khurasani] from [Anas] he said; "I was once with the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam on a journey, he then walked away to relieve himself. After that he asked for water for ablution, then he performed ablution (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 332.) 22nd Hadith. Has told us [Ya'qub bin Humaid bin Kasib] said, has told us [Yahya bin Sulaim] from [Ibn Khutsaim] from [Yunus bin Khabbab] from [Ya'la bin Murrah] said; "If the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam wanted to relieve himself he always walked away (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 333.) 23rd Hadith. God willing God bless you God willing أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَاسْمُهُ عُمَيْرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ - عَنْ عُمَارَةَ God willing الرَّحْمَنْ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَذَهَبَ لِحَاجَتِهِ فَأَبْعَدَ .. It has been told to us that [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] and [Muhammad bin Basysyar] both said; has told us [Yahya bin Sa'id Al Qaththan] from [Abu Ja'far Al Khathmi] -Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah said; his name was Umair bin Yazid- said; from [Umarah bin Khuzaimah] and [Harits bin Fudlail] from [Abdurrahman bin Abu Furad] he said; "I performed the Hajj with the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, then he went away to relieve himself (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 334.) 24th Hadith. God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing God willing وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ لاَ يَأْتِي الْبَرَازَ حَتَّى يَتَغَيَّبَ فَلاَ يُرَى .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Ubaidullah bin Musa] said, has told us [Isma'il bin Abdul Malik] from [Abu Zubair] from [Jabir] he said; "We went out with Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam on a journey, and Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam did not defecate until he was far away and out of sight (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 335.) 25th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ or God willing God willing God willing God willing وسلم ـ كَانَ إِذَا أَرَادَ الْحَاجَةَ أَبْعَدَ .. Has told us [Al Abbas bin Abdul Azhim Al 'Anbari] said, has told us [Abdullah bin Katsir bin Ja'far] said, has told us [Katsir bin Abdullah Al Muzani] from [his father] from [his grandfather] from [Bilal bin Al Harits Al Muzani] said; "If Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam wanted to relieve himself he always stayed away (Degree: authentic. Has told us [Muhammad bin Basysyar] said, has told us [Abdul Malik bin Ash Shabbah] said, has told us [Tsaur bin Yazid] from [Hushain Al Himyari] from [Abu Sa'id Al Khair] from [Abu Hurairah] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "Whoever makes istijmar for an odd number, whoever does so has do good, and whoever does not do it does not sin. Whoever takes food from between his teeth should throw it away, and whoever chews, let him swallow it. Whoever does it has done good, and whoever does not do it is not sinful. If he does not find anything but a pile of sand, let him use it as a barrier, because Satan is playing with the seat of Adam's son. God willing عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ .. Has told us [Isma'il bin Muhammad Ath Thalhi] and [Ahmad bin Sa'id Ad Darimi] both said; has told us [Rauh bin Ubadah] from [Sa'id] from [Qotadah] from [Al Hasan] from [Hudlain Ibnul Mundzir Ibnul Harits bin Wa'lah Abu Sasan Ar Raqisyi] from [Al Muhajir bin Qunfudz bin 'Amru bin Jud'an] said; I went to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam when he was performing ablution, then I said hello but he did not answer. So when he finished he said: "Actually there is nothing preventing me from answering except because I am performing ablution." Abu Al Hasan bin Salamah said; has told us Abu Hatim said, has told us Al Anshar from Sa'id bin Abu Arubah then he mentioned the hadith above (Degree: authentic.
