Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God bless you God bless you قَالَ سَمِعْتُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيَِ God willing God willing قَالَ " ثَلاَثَةُ أَيَّامٍ - أَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ - وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ لِلْمُسَافِرِ فِي الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ " .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Basysyar] said, has told us [Muhammad bin Ja'far] said, has told us [Syu'bah] from [Salamah bin Kuhail] he said; I heard [Ibrahim At Taimi] tell from [Al Harith bin Suwaid] from ['Amru bin Maimun] from [Khuzaimah bin Thabit] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "Three days, -and I think he said; - "and three nights for the traveler to wipe his two khuf (Degree: authentic. God willing قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي God willing اللَّهِ مَا الطُّهُورُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ قَالَ " لِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلاَثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ وَلِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ " .. It has been told to us that [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] and [Abu Kuraib] both said; has told us [Zaid bin Al Hubab] he said; has told us [Umar bin Abdullah bin Abu Khats'am Ats Tsumali] he said; has told us [Yahya bin Abu Kathir] from [Abu Salamah] from [Abu Hurairah] he said; The friends asked; "O Messenger of Allah, how do you purify the two khuf?" He answered: "For the traveler it is three days and three nights, and for the muqim it is one day and one night (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 555.) 3rd Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، وَبِشْرَ God willing God willing عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنْ God willing لِلْمُسَافِرِ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ وَلَبِسَ خُفَّيْهِ ثُمَّ Allah's blessings وَلَيَالِيَهُنَِ [Muhammad bin Basysyar] and [Bisyr bin Hilal Ash Shawwaf] both said; they have told us [Abdul Wahhab bin Abdul Majid] he said; he has told us [Al Muhajir Abu Makhlad] from [Abdurrahman bin Abu Bakrah] from [his father] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam that he gives relief to a traveler who wears a khuf, if he breaks and wants to perform ablution, he should wipe it during his ablution; three days and three nights, and for the muqim one day and one night (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 556.) 4th Hadith. God bless you God willing God bless you God willing God willing نُسَىٍّ، عَنْ أُبَىِّ بْنِ عِمَارَةَ، - وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَدْ صَلَّى فِي بَيْتِهِ الْقِبْلَتَيْنِ كِلْتَيْهِمَا - أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ أَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ قَالَ " نَعَمْ " . قَالَ يَوْمًا قَالَ " وَيَوْمَيْنِ " . قَالَ وَثَلاَثًا حَتَّى بَلَغَ سَبْعًا قَالَ لَهُ " وَمَا بَدَا لَكَ " .. It has been told to us that [Harmalah bin Yahya] and ['Amru bin Sawwad] both said; has told us [Abdullah bin Wahb] said, has reported to us [Yahya bin Ayyub] from [Abdurrahman bin Razin] from [Muhammad bin Yazid bin Abu Ziyad] from [Ayyub bin Qathan] from [Ubadah bin Nusai] from [Ubai bin 'Imarah], that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam once prayed in his house facing two Qiblas, and at that time he asked Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam; "Can I wipe both khuf?" he answered: "Yes," he asked again; "For a day?" he answered: "It could also be for two days," he asked; "And three days?" up to seven days. Rasulullah replied: "Whatever you think (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 557.) 5th Hadith. Has told us [Ahmad bin Yusuf As Sulami] said, has told us [Abu 'Ashim] said, has told us [Haiwah bin Syuraih] from [Yazid bin Abu Habib] from [Al Hakam bin Abdullah Al Balwi] from [Ali bin Rabah Al Lakhmi] from [Uqbah bin Amir Al Juhani] that he came from Egypt to meet [Umar bin Al Khaththab], then asked, "Since when have you not take off your two khuf?" he answered; "From Friday to Friday." Umar said, "You have complied with the sunnah (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 558.) 6th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing Allah's blessings تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى الْجَوْرَبَيْنِ وَالنَّعْلَيْنِ .. Has told us [Ali bin Muhammad] said, has told us [Waki'] said, has told us [Sufyan] from [Abu Qais Al Audi] from [Al Huzail bin Syurahbil] from [Al Mughirah] said; "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam performed ablution then wiped both socks and both sandals (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 559.) 7th Hadith. God bless you مَنْصُورٍ، وَبِشْرُ بْنُ آدَمَ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ سِنَانٍ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنْ God willing تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى الْجَوْرَبَيْنِ وَالنَّعْلَيْنِ . God bless you وَالنَّعْلَيْنِ .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Yahya] said, has told us [Mu'alla bin Mansur] and [Bisyr bin Adam] both said; has told us about [Isa bin Yunus] from [Isa bin Sinan] from [Adl Dlahhak bin Abdurrahman bin 'Arzab] from [Abu Musa Al Asy'ari]; that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam made ablution and wiped his two socks and his two sandals." Al Mu'alla said about his hadith, "I do not know except that he said, "And his two sandals (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 560.) 8th Hadith. God willing يُونُسَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing مَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ وَالْخِمَارِ .. Has told us [Hisyam bin 'Ammar] said, has told us [Isa bin Yunus] from [Al A'masy] from [Al Hakam] from [Abdurrahman bin Abu Laila] from [Ka'ab bin Ujrah] from [Bilal] said; "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam wiped both the khuf and khimar (a kind of turban for headband) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 561.) 9th Hadith. Allah's blessings Allah's blessings God bless you God bless you كَثِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ جَعْفَرَ God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings .. Has told us [Duhaim] said, has told us [Al Walid bin Muslim] said, has told us [Al Auza'i]. (in another way it is mentioned, it has been told to us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, it has been told to us [Muhammad bin Mush'ab] said, it has been told to us [Al Auza'i] said, it has been told to us [Yahya bin Abu Kathir] said, it has been told to us [Abu Salamah] from ['Amru bin Umaiyyah] he said; "I saw Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam wiping his two khuf and imamah (turban wrapped around the head) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 562.) 10th Hadith. God willing يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي الْفُرَاتِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنْ مُسْلِمٍ، مَوْلَى زَيْدِ بْنِ صُوحَانَ قَالَ كُنْتُ مَعَ سَلْمَانَ فَرَأَى رَجُلاً يَنْزِعُ خُفَِ فَقَالَ لَهُ سَلْمَانُ امْسَحْ عَلَى خُفَّيْكَ وَعَلَى خِمَارِكَ وَبِنَاصِيَتِكَ فَإِنِّي رَََيْتُ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Yunus bin Muhammad] from [Dawud bin Abul Furat] from [Muhammad bin Zaid] from [Abu Syuraih] from [Abu Muslim] the former slave of Zaid bin Shuhan, he said; I was once with [Salman], suddenly he saw a man taking off his two khuf to perform ablution. So he rebuked him; "Wipe your two khuf, your imamah and your crown. Because I once saw Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam wipe his two khuf and his turban (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 563.) 11th Hadith. God willing السَّرْحِ حَدَّثَا God bless you مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْقِلٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ قِطْرِيَّةٌ فَأَدْخَلَ يَدَهُ مِنْ God willing يَنْقُضِ الْعِمَامَةَ .. Has told us [Abu Thahir Ahmad bin 'Amru bin As Sarh] said, has told us [Abdullah bin Wahb] said, has told us [Mu'awiyah bin Salih] from [Abdul Aziz bin Muslim] from [Abu Ma'qil] from [Anas bin Malik] he said; "I once saw Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam perform ablution while he was wearing the Qithriyyah imamate, then he put his hands under his turban, then rubbed the front of his head and did not remove his turban (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 564.) 12th Hadith. God willing سَعْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings عِقْدُ عَائِشَةَ فَتَخَلَّفَتْ لاِلْتِمَاسِهِ فَانْطَلَقَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God bless you God bless you عَائِشَةَ فَقَالَ مَا عَلِمْتُ إِنَّكِ لَمُبَارَكَةٌ .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Rumh] said, has told us [Al Laits bin Sa'd] from [Ibn Shihab] from [Ubaidullah bin Abdullah] from ['Ammar bin Yasir] that he said; Aisyah's necklace fell and she was left behind because she was looking for it. Then Abu Bakr met Aisyah with anger because the troops were prevented from continuing their journey because of him. So Allah sent down ruhshah to perform tayamum. 'Ammar bin Yasir said; "So at that time we rubbed our shoulders." 'Ammar bin Yasir said; "Finally Abu Bakr went to Aisyah and said; "I did not know that you brought blessings (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 565.) 13th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ إِلَى الْمَنَاكِبِ .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Abu Umar Al Adani] said, has told us [Sufyan bin Uyainah] from ['Amru] from [Az Zuhri] from [Ubaidullah bin Abdullah] from [his father] from [Amar bin Yasir] said; "We together with Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam performed ablution up to the shoulders (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 566.) 14th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing جَعْفَرٍ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " جُعِلَتْ لِيَ الأَرْضُ مَسْجِدًا وَطَهُورًا " .. Has told us [Ya'qub bin Humaid bin Kasib] said, has told us [Abdul Aziz bin Abu Hazim]. And according to another line; Has told us [Abu Ishaq Al Harawi] said, has told us [Isma'il bin Ja'far] everything from [Al 'Ala`] from [his father] from [Abu Hurairah], that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "The earth was made for me as a mosque and a means of purification (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 567.) 15th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing Allah's blessings فَهَلَكَتْ فَأَرْسَلَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ God bless you God bless you, God bless you, God bless you God bless you فَقَالَ أُسَيْدُ بْنُ حُضَيْرٍ جَزَاكِ اللَّهُ خَيْرًا فَوَاللَّهِ مَا نَزَلَ بِكِ أَمْرٌ قَطُّ إِلاَِ لَكِ مِنْهُ مَخْرَجًا وَجَعَلَ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ فِيهِ بَرَكَةً .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Abu Usamah] from [Hisyam bin 'Urwah] from [his father] from [Aisyah] that he once borrowed a necklace from Asma`, but the necklace was lost until the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam sent several people to look for it. Then the time for prayer came and they prayed without ablution, then after returning they complained about this to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, and the verse about tayammum came down. Usaid bin Hudlair then said; "May Allah give you goodness. By Allah, He did not reveal a verse to you unless it was a way out for you and a blessing for the muslimin people (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 568.) 16th Hadith. God bless you Allah's blessings عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدْ God willing God willing. God willing. God willing. God willing لاَ تُصَلِّ . فَقَالَ عَمَّارُ بْنُ يَاسِرٍ أَمَا تَذْكُرُ يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِذْ أَنَا وَأَنْتَ فِي سَرِيَّةٍ فَأَجْنَبْنَا فَلَمْ نَجِدِ الْمَاءَ فَأَمَّا أَنْتَ فَلَمْ God willing فَصَلَّيْتُ فَلَمَّا أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لَهُ . فَقَالَ " إِنَّمَا كَانَ يَكْفِيكَ " . وَضَرَبَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ God willing بِهِمَا وَجْهَهُ وَكَفَّيْهِ .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Basysyar] said, has told us [Muhammad bin Ja'far] said, has told us [Syu'bah] from [Al Hakam] from [Dzar] from [Sa'id bin Abdurrahman bin Abza] from [His father] said; "A man came to Umar Ibnul Khaththab and asked; "I am junub but don't get water?" then Umar answered; "Don't pray." Then ['Ammar bin Yasir] said; "O Amirul Mu'minin, don't you remember when you and I on an expedition experienced junub and we didn't get water. At that time you didn't pray while I rolled on the ground and prayed. So when I came to see the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam and I mentioned this to him, he then said: "Actually it is enough for you, then he hit his hands on the ground and blew on them, then he rubbed his hands over his face and his palms (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 569.) 17th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing يَفْعَلَ هَكَذَا وَضَرَبَ بِيَدَيْهِ إِلَى الأَرْضِ ثُمَّ نَفَضَهُمَا وَمَسَحَ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ . قَالَ الْحَكَمُ وَيَدَيْهِ . وَقَالَ سَلَمَةُ وَمِرْفَقَيْهِ .. Has told us [Uthman bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Humaid bin Abdurrahman] from [Ibn Abu Laila] from [Al Hakam] and [Salamah bin Kuhail] that both of them asked [Abdullah bin Abu Aufa] about tayamum, so he answered, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam ordered 'Ammar to do like this, then he clapped his hands on the ground, then waved them and rubbed them. his face, [Al Hakam] said; "And his two hands." While [Salamah] said, "And his two elbows (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 570.) 18th Hadith. God willing God willing God bless you God willing يَيَمَّمُوا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَأَمَرَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَضَرَبُوا بِأَكُفِّهِمُ التُّرَابَ وَلَمْ يَقْبِضُوا مِنَ التُِ prayer فَضَرَبُوا بِأَكُفِّهِمُ الصَّعِيدَ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى فَمَسَحُوا بِأَيْدِيهِمْ .. Has told us [Abu Ath Thahir Ahmad bin 'Amru bin As Sarh Al Mishri] said, has told us [Abdullah bin Wahb] said; has reported to us [Yunus bin Yazid] from [Ibn Shihab] from [Ubaidullah bin Abdullah] from ['Ammar bin Yasir] when he was performing tayammum with the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam he ordered the muslimin people, then they hit both hands on the ground without holding the ground at all, then they wiped their faces once. After that they repeated again, they hit both palms of their hands on the ground once again and rubbed them on their hands (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 571.) 19th hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing جُرْحٌ فِي رَأْسِهْ عليه وسلم ـ ثُمَّ أَصَابَهُ or God bless you God willing God bless you السُّؤَالُ " ." ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " لَوْ غَسَلَ جَسَدَهُ وَتَرَكَ رَأْسَهُ حَيْثُ أَصَابَهُ الْجِرَاحُ " .. Has told us [Hisyam bin 'Ammar] said, has told us [Abdul Hamid bin Hubaib bin Abu Al Isyrin] said, has told us [Al Auza'i] from ['Atho` bin Abu Rabah] said; I heard [Ibn 'Abbas] say; "During the time of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam there was a man whose head was injured, the man had a wet dream, then he was ordered to bathe until the wound got worse and he died. So the news reached the Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "They have killed him, I hope Allah will kill him. It is no cure for an ignorant person to ask." 'Atho` said, "It has come to us that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "If he only washed his body and excluded his head which was injured (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 572.) 20th hadith. God willing مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing مَيْمُونَةَ قَالَتْ وَضَعْتُ لِلنَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ God willing بِشِمَالِهَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing مَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ وَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلاَثًا وَذِرَاعَيْهِ ثَلاَثًا ثُمَّ أَفَاضَ الْمَاءَ عَلَى سَائِرِ جَسَدِهِ ثُمَّ تَنَحَّى فَغَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ .. It has been told to us that [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] and [Ali bin Muhammad] both said; has told us [Waki'] from [Al A'masy] from [Salim bin Abu Al Ju'd] from [Kuraib] - former servant of Ibn 'Abbas- has told us [Ibnu 'Abbas] from his aunt [Maimunah] he said; "I prepared the bath water for the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, then he took a junub bath. He poured the vessel with his left hand into his right hand and washed it three times, then he poured it on his genitals and rubbed his hands on the earth. After that he rinsed his mouth, put the water in his nose and washed his face three times, and both his elbows three times. Then poured the water all over his body, then moved away from the bathing place and washed his two feet (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 573.) 21st Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing God willing فَسَأَلْنَاهَا كَيْفَ كَانَ يَصْنَعُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings كَانَ يُفِيضُ عَلَى كَفَّيْهِ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ ثُمَّ يُدْخِلُهَا فِي الإِنَاءِ ثُمَّ يَغْسِلُ رَأْسَهُ ثَلاَثَ God bless you God willing فَإِنَّا نَغْسِلُ رُءُوسَنَا خَمْسَ مِرَارٍ مِنْ أَجْلِ الضَّفْرِ .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Abdul Malik bin Abu Asy Syawarib] said, has told us [Abdul Wahid bin Ziyad] said, has told us [Shodaqoh bin Sa'id Al Hanafi] said, has told us [Jumai' bin Umair At Taimi] he said; "I, along with my aunt from my father's and mother's side, met Aisyah, then we asked her how Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bathed junub. [Aisyah] answered, "She poured water into her palm three times before putting her hand into the vessel. And washed his head three times and then poured water all over his body. After that he went to pray. As for us (the wives of the Prophet) bathing by washing our heads up to five times because of the problem of (long) hair (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 574.) 22nd Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing صُرَدٍ، عَنْ جُبَيْرَ God willing وسلم ـ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " أَمَّا أَنَا فَأُفِيضُ عَلَى رَأْسِي ثَلاَثَ أَكُفٍّ " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Abu Al Ahwash] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Sulaiman bin Shurad] from [Jubair bin Muth'im] he said; "The companions were arguing about how to bathe the junub with Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, then Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "I poured three palms of water over my head (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 575.) 23rd Hadith. And according to another line; Has told us [Abu Kuraib] said, has told us [Ibn Fudlail] everything from [Fudlail bin Marzuq] from ['Athiyah] from [Abu Sa'id] that a man asked him about bathing junub, so he answered; "Three times." The man asked again, "Actually my hair is very thick." Abu Sa'id answered; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam had more hair and better hair than yours (Degree: authentic.
