Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God bless you Allah's blessings God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing فَلَمْ يُشْكِنَا . قَالَ الْقَطَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو Allah's blessings نَحْوَهُ .. Has told us [Ali bin Muhammad] said, has told us [Waki'] said, has told us [Al A'masy] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Haritsah bin Mudlarrib Al 'Abdi] from [Khabbab] he said; We complained to Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam about the heat of the ramdla` (hot sand due to the sun), but he never complained to us." 2nd hadith. God willing هِشَامٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنْ God willing God bless you وسلم ـ حَرَّ الرَّمْضَاءِ فَلَمْ يُشْكِنَا .. Has told us [Abu Kuraib] said, has told us [Mu'awiyah bin Hisham] from [Sufyan] from [Zaid bin Jubair] from [Khisyf bin Malik] from [his father] from [Abdullah bin Mas'ud] he said; "We complained to Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam about the heat of the ramdla` (hot sand due to sunburn), but he never complained to us (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 676.) 3rd Hadith. God bless you God willing God bless you وسلم ـ " إِذَا اشْتَدَّ الْحَرُّ فَأَبْرِدُوا بِالصَّلاَةِ فَإِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ " .. Has told us [Hisyam bin 'Ammar] said, has told us [Malik bin Anas] said, has told us [Abu Az Zinad] from [Al A'raj] from [Abu Hurairah] he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "If the heat is very intense, then postpone the prayer until the day becomes cool (shady), in fact the intense heat is from the blowing of jahannam (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 677.) 4th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. وَأَبِي، سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ " .. It has been reported to us [Muhammad bin Rumh] said, it has been reported to us [Al Laits bin Sa'd] from [Ibn Shihab] from [Sa'id Ibnul Musayyab] and [Abu Salamah bin Abdurrahman] from [Abu Hurairah] that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "If the heat is very intense, then postpone the midday prayer until the day becomes cool (shady), indeed the heat is intense is from the gusts of jahannam (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 678.) 5th Hadith. God willing God willing قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " أَبْرِدُوا Allah's blessings " .. Has told us [Abu Kuraib] said, has told us [Abu Mu'awiyah] from [Al A'masy] from [Abu Salih] from [Abu Sa'id] he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Delay the noon prayer until the day becomes cool (shady), indeed the intense heat is from the breath of the hell of Jahannam (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 679.) 6th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God bless you God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind "" أَبْرِدُوا بِالصَّلاَةِ فَإِنَّ شِدَِ جَهَنَّمَ " .. Has told us [Tamim bin Al Muntashir Al Wasithi] said, has told us [Ishaq bin Yusuf] from [Syarik] from [Bayan] from [Qais bin Abu Hazim] from [Mughirah bin Syu'bah] he said; We once prayed midday prayers with Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam at midday, then he said: "Delay the prayer until the day becomes cool (shady), in fact the intense heat is from the breath of the Hell of Jahannam (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 680.) 7th Hadith. God willing God willing نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنْ الله عليه وسلم ـ " أَبْرِدُوا بِالظُّهْرِ " .. Has told us [Abdurrahman bin Umar] said, has told us [Abdul Wahhab Ats Tsaqafi] from [Ubaidullah] from [Nafi'] from [Ibn Umar] he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Postpone the prayer until the day becomes cool (shady) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 681.) 8th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing يُصَلِّي الْعَصْرَ وَالشَّمْسُ مُرْتَفِعَةٌ حَيَّةٌ فَيَذْهَبُ الذَّاهِبُ إِلَى الْعَوَالِي وَالشَّمْسُ مُرْتَفِعَةٌ .. It has been told to us [Muhammad bin Rumh] said, it has been reported to us [Al Laits bin Sa'd] from [Ibn Shihab] from [Anas bin Malik] that he had informed him, that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam performed the afternoon prayer while the sun was still shining high, and someone went to 'Awali while the sun was still high (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 682.) 9th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing ـ الْعَصْرَ وَالشَّمْسُ فِي حُجْرَتِي لَمْ يُظْهِرْهَا الْفَىْءُ بَعْدُ .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Sufyan bin Uyainah] from [Az Zuhri] from ['Urwah] from [Aisyah] he said; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam performed the Asr prayer, while the sun in my room did not show a shadow (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 683.) 10th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ " مَلأَ اللَّهُ بُيُوتَهُمْ وَقُبُورَهُمْ نَارًا كَمَا شَغَلُونَا عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ الْوُسْطَى " .. Has told us [Ahmad bin Abdah] said, has told us [Hammad bin Zaid] from ['Ashim bin Bahdalah] from [Zirr bin Hubaisy] from [Ali bin Abu Talib], that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said at the time of the Khandaq war: "May Allah fill their houses and graves with fire as they have kept us busy from performing the Asr prayer (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 684.) 11th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing. God willing " إِنَّ الَّذِي تَفُوتُهُ صَلاَةُ الْعَصْرِ فَكَأَنَّمَا وُتِرَ أَهْلُهُ وَمَالُهُ " .. It has been told to us [Hisyam bin 'Ammar] said, it has been told to us [Sufyan bin Uyainah] from [Az Zuhri] from [Salim] from [Ibn Umar], that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "A person who loses the Asr prayer is like a person who loses his family and property (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 685.) 12th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God bless you God willing God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings عليه وسلم ـ عَنْ صَلاَةِ الْعَصْرْ فَقَالَ " حَبَسُونَا عَنْ صَلاَةِ الْوُسْطَى مَلأَ اللَّهُ قُبُورَهُمْ وَبُيُوتَهُمْ نَارًا " .. Has told us [Hafsh bin 'Amru] said, has told us [Abdurrahman bin Mahdi]. And according to another line; Has told us [Yahya bin Hakim] said, has told us [Yazid bin Harun], both of them said; has told us [Muhammad bin Talhah] from [Zubaid] from [Murrah] from [Abdullah] he said; The Mushrik disbelievers prevented the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam from performing the afternoon prayer until the sun had almost set. So he said: "They have prevented us from praying Asr, may Allah fill their graves and houses with fire (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 686.) 13th Hadith. God willing God bless you Allah's blessings قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَافِعَ بْنَ خَدِيجٍ، يَقُولُ كُنَّا نُصَلِّي God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you نَبْلِهِ . حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَحْيَى الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، نَحْوَهُ .. Has told us [Abdurrahman bin Ibrahim Ad Dimasyqi] said, has told us [Al Walid bin Muslim] said, has told us [Al Auza'i] said, has told us [Abu An Najasyi] he said; I heard [Rafi' bin Khadij] say; "During the time of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, we once prayed maghrib prayer, then one of us left and he could still see the target of his arrow." Has told us Abu Yahya Az Za'farani said, has told us Ibrahim bin Musa as per the hadith above (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 687.) 14th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing يُصَلِّي مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ الْمَغْرِبَ إِذَا تَوَارَتْ بِالْحِجَابِ .. Has told us [Ya'qub bin Humaid bin Kasib] said, has told us [Al Mughirah bin Abdurrahman] from [Yazid bin Abu Ubaid] from [Salamah bin Al Akwa'] that he once prayed maghrib prayer with the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam when the sun had set (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 688.) 15th Hadith. God bless you God bless you عُمَرَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنِ الأَحْنَفِ بْنْ God willing ـ " لاَ تَزَالُ أُمَّتِي عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ مَا لَمْ يُؤَخِّرُوا الْمَغْرِبَ حَتَّى تَشْتَبِكَ النُّجُومُ " . قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَاجَهْ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ God bless you God bless you God willing إِلَيْنَا أَصْلَ أَبِيهِ فَإِذَا الْحَدِيثُ فِيهِ .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Yahya] said, has told us [Ibrahim bin Musa] said, has told us [Abbad bin Al 'Awwam] from [Umar bin Ibrahim] from [Qotadah] from [Al Hasan] from [Al Ahnaf bin Qais] from [Al 'Abbas bin Abdul Muththalib] he said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "My people will always be above fitrah as long as they do not end maghrib until the stars appear." Abu Abdullah Ibnu Majah said; I heard Muhammad bin Yahya say; "People in Baghdad were confused by this hadith, so Abu Bakr Al A'yan and I went to see Al 'Awwam bin Abbad bin Al 'Awwam. Then he took out his father's original relic, it turned out there was a hadith (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 689.) 16th Hadith. God willing God willing هُرَيْرَةَ، . أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " لَوْلاَ أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي لأَمَرْتُهُمْ بِتَأْخِيرِ الْعِشَاءِ " .. Has told us [Hisyam bin 'Ammar] said, has told us [Sufyan bin Uyainah] from [Abu Az Zinad] from [Al A'raj] from [Abu Hurairah] said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "If it were not a burden on my people, I would really order them to end the evening prayer (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 690.) 17th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " لَوْلاَ أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي لأَخَّرْتُ صَلاَةَ God willing .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Abu Usamah] and [Abdullah bin Numair] from [Ubaidullah] from [Sa'id bin Abu Sa'id] from [Abu Hurairah] he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "If it were not a burden on my people, I would really end the evening prayer until the third or middle of the night (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 691.) 18th Hadith. God bless you God bless you مَالِكٍ هَلِ اتَّخَذَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you وَنَامُوا وَإِنَّكُمْ لَنْ تَزَالُوا فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا انْتَظَرْتُمُ الصَّلاَةَ " ." أَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَبِيصِ خَاتَمِهِ .. Has told us [Muhammad Ibnul Mutsanna] said, has told us [Khalid Ibnul Harith] said, has told us [Humaid] said; [Anas bin Malik] asked; "Did the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam wear a ring?" he answered; "Yes, he ended the evening prayer until mid-night, so when he finished praying he faced us and said: "The people have prayed and are asleep, and you will still be in the prayer count as long as you wait for it." Anas said; "It was as if I saw the flash of his ring (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 692.) 19th hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. هِنْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ صَلَّى God willing God willing فَخَرَجَ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ ثُمَّ قَالَ " إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ God bless you God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing اللَّيْلِ " .. Has told us [Imran bin Musa Al Laitsi] said, has told us [Abdul Warits bin Sa'id] said, has told us [Dawud bin Abu Hind] from [Abu Nadlrah] from [Abu Sa'id] he said; Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam prayed maghrib prayer with us, then he didn't come out until it was mid-night, then he came out and prayed with them. After that he said: "Indeed, people have prayed and slept, and you will always be counting the prayers while you wait for them. If it were not for the weak and the sick, I would like to end this prayer until midnight (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 693.) 20th hadith. God willing God bless you God bless you كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَاجِرِ، عَنْ God willing صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فِي غَزْوَةٍ فَقَالَ " بَكِّرُوا God willing صَلاَةُ الْعَصْرِ حَبِطَ عَمَلُهُ " .. It has been told to us that [Abdurrahman bin Ibrahim] and [Muhammad bin Ash Shabbah] both said; has told us [Al Walid bin Muslim] said, has told us [Al Auza'i] said, has told me [Yahya bin Abu Katsir] from [Abu Qilabah] from [Abu Al Muhajir] from [Buraidah Al Aslami] he said; We were with Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam in war, then he said: "Hurry up and pray on a cloudy day, because whoever misses the Asr prayer will have his deeds destroyed (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 694.) 21st Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَم may Allah bless him and give him peace قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ ـ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you " .. Has told us [Nashr bin Ali Al Jahdlami] said, has told us [Yazid bin Zurai'] said, has told us [Hajjaj] said, has told us [Qotadah] of [Anas bin Malik] said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam was asked about a man who was negligent or fell asleep from praying, so he answered: "He should do it when he has remembered it (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 695.) 22nd Hadith. God bless you God willing قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " مَنْ نَسِيَ صَلاَةً فَلْيُصَلِّهَا إِذَا ذَكَرَهَا " .. Has told us [Jubarah Ibnul Mughallis] said, has told us [Abu Awanah] from [Qotadah] from [Anas bin Malik] he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Whoever forgets to pray, let him do it when he remembers (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 696.) 23rd Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings " ." may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing الْفَجْرْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ حَتَّى ضَرَبَتْهُمُ الشَّمْسُ فَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهْ فَفَزِعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَقَالَ " أَىْ بِلاَلُ " ." God bless you ." God willing وَأَمَرَ بِلاَلاً فَأَقَامَ الصَّلاَةَ فَصَلَّى بِهِمُ God willing الصَّلاَةَ ." God bless you God willing يَقْرَؤُهَا {لِلذِّكْرَى} .. Has told us [Harmalah bin Yahya] said, has told us [Abdullah bin Wahb] said, has told us [Yunus] from [Ibn Shihab] from [Sa'id bin Al Musayyab] from [Abu Hurairah] said; "When Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam returned from the Khaibar war, he moved around at night until finally he was overcome by drowsiness, he stopped to rest and said to Bilal: "Take care of us this night." Bilal then prayed as much as he could, while Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam and the other companions slept. When dawn was near, Bilal leaned against his vehicle waiting for dawn. But sleepiness attacked him until he fell asleep leaning against his vehicle. He and his companions did not wake up until the sunlight was strong. And the Messenger of Allah was the first to wake up, he then jumped up and shouted: "O Bilal! " Bilal answered; "O Messenger of Allah, for the sake of my father and mother, Allah took my soul as he has taken your soul." Rasulullah said: "Guide." So they guided their vehicles for a while. Then Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam made ablution and ordered Bilal to make the iqamah, until Bilal also said the iqamah. Then he prayed the morning prayer together with them. After the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam finished the prayer, he said: "Whoever forgets to perform the prayer, then let him perform it when he remembers, verily Allah 'azza wajalla says: (And establish the prayer to remember Me) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 697.) 24th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God, God, God, God God bless you فَقَالَ نَامُوا حَتَّى طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing نَسِيَ أَحَدُكُمْ صَلاَةً أَوْ نَامَ عَنْهَا فَلْيُصَلِّها إِذَا ذَكَرَهَا وَلِوَقْتِهَا مِنَ الْغَدِ " . قَالَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God bless you God bless you مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ . قَالَ فَمَا أَنْكَرَ مِنْ حَدِيثِهِ شَيْئًا .. Has told us [Ahmad bin 'Abdah] said, has told us [Hammad bin Zaid] from [Thabit] from [Abdullah bin Rabah] from [Abu Qotadah] he said; the companions mentioned their negligence in the matter of sleeping, he said: "Sleep until the sun rises." Then Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said again: "There is no negligence in sleeping, there is only negligence when waking up. If one of you forgets to pray or falls asleep, then let him pray when he remembers, even if it is the next day." [Abdullah bin Rabah] said; When I told a hadith, [Imran bin Hushain] heard me, then he said; "O young man, pay attention to how you tell the hadith, I really witnessed the hadith of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam." He says; "So he did not deny anything from his hadith (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 698.) 25th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " مَنْ أَدْرَكَ مِنَ الْعَصْرِ رَكْعَةً قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغْرُبَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace " .. It has been narrated to us [Muhammad bin Ash Shabbah] said, it has been narrated to us [Abdul Aziz bin Muhammad Ad Darawardi] said, it has been reported to me [Zaid bin Aslam] from ['Atho` bin Yasar] and from [Busr bin Sa'id] and from [Al A'raj] they narrated from [Abu Hurairah] that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Whoever gets one rak'ah pray the afternoon prayer before sunset, then he has got it. And whoever gets one raka'at at dawn before the sun rises, then he has got it (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 699.) 26th Hadith. God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " مَنْ أَدْرَكَ مِنَ الصُّبْحِ may Allah bless him and give him peace وَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ مِنَ الْعَصْرِ رَكْعَةً قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغِيبَ الشَّمْسُ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَهَا " ." Has told us [Ahmad bin 'Amru bin As Sarh] and [Harmalah bin Yahya Al Mishriyani] both said; has told us [Abdullah bin Wahb] said; has reported to me [Yunus] from [Ibn Shihab] from ['Urwah] from [Aisyah], that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Whoever gets one rak'ah of the morning prayer before the sun rises, he has got it. And whoever gets one rak'ah of the Asr prayer before the sun sets then he has got it." It has been told to us [Jamil Ibnul Hasan] said, it has been told to us [Abdul A'la] said, it has been told to us [Ma'mar] from [Az Zuhri] from [Abu Salamah] from [Abu Hurairah], that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said, then he mentioned it as in the above hadith (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 700.) 27th Hadith. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ya'qub bin Humaid bin Kasib] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Mughirah bin Abdurrahman] dari [Muhammad bin 'Ajlan] dari [Al Maqburi] dari [Abu Hurairah]. Dan menurut jalur yang lain; Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ya'qub bin Humaid] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ibnu Abu Hazim] dari [Abdurrahman bin Harmalah] dari [Sa'id bin Al Musayyab] dari [Abu Hurairah], bahwa Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Jangan sekali-kali kalian terkalahkan oleh orang-orang arab badui atas nama shalat kalian." Ibnu Harmalah menambahkan; "Maksudnya adalah Isya. Hanyasanya mereka menyebutnya Al 'Atamah karena mereka keluar dimalam hari untuk memerah susu unta (Derajat: shahih. Hadits ke-32. حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ الْمَدَنِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيُّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَدْ هَمَّ بِالْبُوقِ وَأَمَرَ بِالنَّاقُوسِ فَنُحِتَ فَأُرِيَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ زَيْدٍ فِي الْمَنَامِ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَجُلاً عَلَيْهِ ثَوْبَانِ أَخْضَرَانِ يَحْمِلُ نَاقُوسًا فَقُلْتُ لَهُ يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ تَبِيعُ النَّاقُوسَ قَالَ وَمَا تَصْنَعُ بِهِ قُلْتُ أُنَادِي بِهِ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ . قَالَ أَفَلاَ أَدُلُّكَ عَلَى خَيْرٍ مِنْ ذَلِكَ قُلْتُ وَمَا هُوَ قَالَ تَقُولُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ حَىَّ عَلَى الصَّلاَةِ حَىَّ عَلَى الصَّلاَةِ حَىَّ عَلَى الْفَلاَحِ حَىَّ عَلَى الْفَلاَحِ . اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ . قَالَ فَخَرَجَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ زَيْدٍ حَتَّى أَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَأَخْبَرَهُ بِمَا رَأَى . قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ رَأَيْتُ رَجُلاً عَلَيْهِ ثَوْبَانِ أَخْضَرَانِ يَحْمِلُ نَاقُوسًا . فَقَصَّ عَلَيْهِ الْخَبَرَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " إِنَّ صَاحِبَكُمْ قَدْ رَأَى رُؤْيَا فَاخْرُجْ مَعَ بِلاَلٍ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فَأَلْقِهَا عَلَيْهِ وَلْيُنَادِ بِلاَلٌ فَإِنَّهُ أَنْدَى صَوْتًا مِنْكَ " . قَالَ فَخَرَجْتُ مَعَ بِلاَلٍ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فَجَعَلْتُ أُلْقِيهَا عَلَيْهِ وَهُوَ يُنَادِي بِهَا . قَالَ فَسَمِعَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ بِالصَّوْتِ فَخَرَجَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ مِثْلَ الَّذِي رَأَى . قَالَ أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحَكَمِيُّ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ زَيْدٍ الأَنْصَارِيَّ قَالَ فِي ذَلِكَ أَحْمَدُ اللَّهَ ذَا الْجَلاَلِ وَذَا الإِكْرَامِ حَمْدًا عَلَى الأَذَانِ كَثِيرًا إِذْ أَتَانِي بِهِ الْبَشِيرُ مِنَ اللَّهِ فَأَكْرِمْ بِهِ لَدَىَّ بَشِيرًا فِي لَيَالٍ وَالَى بِهِنَّ ثَلاَثٍ كُلَّمَا جَاءَ زَادَنِي تَوْقِيرًا. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Ubaid Muhammad bin Ubaid bin Maimun Al Madani] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Salamah Al Harrani] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Ishaq] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Ibrahim At Taimi] dari [Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Zaid] dari [Bapaknya] ia berkata; "Diawal mula Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihi wasallam berkehendak agar (panggilan shalat) menggunakan terompet, dan beliau suruh sahabatnya memukul kentongan. Lalu Abdullah bin Zaid bermimpi. Ia menuturkan; "Aku melihat seseorang mengenakan dua kain hijau membawa kentongan. Lalu aku bertanya; "Wahai hamba Allah, kamu menjual kentongan ini?" Ia bertanya; "Apa perlumu dengan kentongan?" "Akan kupergunakan untuk panggilan shalat" Jawabku. Ia lalu berkata; "Maukah engkau kutunjukkan yang lebih baik dari itu?" Aku menjawab; "Apa itu?" Ia menjawab; "Ucapkanlah; 'ALLAHU AKBAR ALLAHU AKBAR, ALLAHU AKBAR ALLAHU AKBAR - ASYHADU AN LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAH, ASYHADU AN LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAH - ASYHADU ANNA MUHAMMADAN RASULULLAH, ASYHADU ANNA MUHAMMADAN RASULULLAH - HAYYA 'ALASH SHALAAH. HAYYA 'ALASH SHALAAH - HAYYA 'ALAL FALAAH HAYYA 'ALAL FALAAH-ALLAHU AKBAR ALLAHU AKBAR-LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAH (Allah Maha Besar. Allah Maha Besar. Allah Maha Besar. Allah Maha Besar-Aku bersaksi bahwa tidak ada Tuhan yang berhak disembah selain Allah. Aku bersaksi bahwa tidak ada Tuhan yang berhak disembah selain Allah-Aku bersaksi bahwa Muhammad adalah utusan Allah. Aku bersaksi bahwa Muhammad adalah utusan Allah-Mari menuju shalat. Mari menuju shalat-Mari menuju kemenangan. Mari menuju kemenangan-Allah Maha Besar. Allah Maha Besar-Tidak ada Tuhan Yang berhak disembah selain Allah)." Ia berkata; Lalu Abdullah bin Zaid mendatangi Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam dan mengabarkan perihal mimpinya, ia berkata; "Wahai Rasulullah, aku melihat seseorang mengenakan dua kain hijau membawa kentongan, " lalu ia menceritakan kabar mimpinya kepada beliau. Maka Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam pun bersabda: "Sesungguhnya sahabat kalian telah bermimpi, keluarlah ke masjid bersama Bilal, beritahukanlah kepada Bilal dan hendaklah ia yang menyerukan hal itu, sebab suaranya lebih keras daripada kamu." Abdullah bin Zaid berkata; "Maka aku keluar bersama Bilal menuju masjid, aku ceritakan mimpiku hingga ia menyerukannya. Dan Umar Ibnul Khaththab mendengar suara itu hingga ia mendatangi Rasulullah seraya berkata; "Wahai Rasulullah, Demi Allah aku juga bermimpi sebagaimana yang ia impikan! " Abu Ubaid berkata; "Abu Bakr Al Hakami mengabarkan kepadaku bahwa Abdullah bin Zaid Al Anshari berkata kaitannya dengan mimpi itu; "Aku memuji Allah Dzat pemilik Kebesaran dan Kemuliaan (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 706.) Hadits ke-33. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ اسْتَشَارَ النَّاسَ لِمَا يُهِمُّهُمْ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ فَذَكَرُوا الْبُوقَ فَكَرِهَهُ مِنْ أَجْلِ الْيَهُودِ ثُمَّ ذَكَرُوا النَّاقُوسَ فَكَرِهَهُ مِنْ أَجْلِ النَّصَارَى فَأُرِيَ النِّدَاءَ تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ يُقَالُ لَهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ زَيْدٍ وَعُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ فَطَرَقَ الأَنْصَارِيُّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ لَيْلاً فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ بِلاَلاً بِهِ فَأَذَّنَ . قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ وَزَادَ بِلاَلٌ فِي نِدَاءِ صَلاَةِ الْغَدَاةِ الصَّلاَةُ خَيْرٌ مِنَ النَّوْمِ فَأَقَرَّهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ . قَالَ عُمَرُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَدْ رَأَيْتُ مِثْلَ الَّذِي رَأَى وَلَكِنَّهُ سَبَقَنِي .. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Khalid bin Abdullah Al Wasithi] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Bapakku] dari [Abdurrahman bin Ishaq] dari [Az Zuhri] dari [Salim] dari [Bapaknya] berkata; Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam meminta pendapat para sahabat terhadap sesuatu yang membuat mereka berangkat menuju shalat. Maka mereka menyebutkan terompet, tetapi beliau tidak menyukainya karena menyerupai orang-orang Yahudi, kemudian mereka menyebutkan lonceng, tetapi beliau tidak menyukai pula karena menyerupai orang-orang Nasrani. Maka pada malam itu seorang sahabat Anshar bermimpi tentang (lafadz) adzan, sahabat itu dikenal dengan nama Abdullah bin Zaid, dan begitu juga Umar bin Al Khatthab telah memimpikannya. Maka pada saat malam seorang sahabat Anshar mendatangi Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, lalu Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam memerintahkan Bilal untuk mengumandangkan adzan." Az Zuhri berkata; "Bilal menambah dalam adzan subuh; ASH SHALAATU KHAIRUM MINANNAUM (Shalat itu lebih baik dari pada tidur). Maka Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam pun menetapkannya. Lantas Umar berkata; "Ya Rasulullah, aku juga bermimpi seperti apa yang dia mimpikan, tetapi dia telah mendahuluiku (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 707.) Hadits ke-34. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي مَحْذُورَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَيْرِيزٍ، - وَكَانَ يَتِيمًا فِي حِجْرِ أَبِي مَحْذُورَةَ بْنِ مِعْيَرٍ حِينَ جَهَّزَهُ إِلَى الشَّامِ - فَقُلْتُ لأَبِي مَحْذُورَةَ أَىْ عَمِّ إِنِّي خَارِجٌ إِلَى الشَّامِ وَإِنِّي أُسْأَلُ عَنْ تَأْذِينِكَ فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّ أَبَا مَحْذُورَةَ قَالَ خَرَجْتُ فِي نَفَرٍ فَكُنَّا بِبَعْضِ الطَّرِيقِ فَأَذَّنَ مُؤَذِّنُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ بِالصَّلاَةِ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَسَمِعْنَا صَوْتَ الْمُؤَذِّنِ وَنَحْنُ عَنْهُ مُتَنَكِّبُونَ فَصَرَخْنَا نَحْكِيهِ نَهْزَأُ بِهِ فَسَمِعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيْنَا قَوْمًا فَأَقْعَدُونَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ فَقَالَ " أَيُّكُمُ الَّذِي سَمِعْتُ صَوْتَهُ قَدِ ارْتَفَعَ " . فَأَشَارَ إِلَىَّ الْقَوْمُ كُلُّهُمْ وَصَدَقُوا فَأَرْسَلَ كُلَّهُمْ وَحَبَسَنِي وَقَالَ لِي " قُمْ فَأَذِّنْ " . فَقُمْتُ وَلاَ شَىْءَ أَكْرَهُ إِلَىَّ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَلاَ مِمَّا يَأْمُرُنِي بِهِ فَقُمْتُ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَأَلْقَى عَلَىَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ التَّأْذِينَ هُوَ بِنَفْسِهِ فَقَالَ " قُلِ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ " . ثُمَّ قَالَ لِي " ارْجِعْ فَمُدَّ مِنْ صَوْتِكَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ حَىَّ عَلَى الصَّلاَةِ حَىَّ عَلَى الصَّلاَةِ حَىَّ عَلَى الْفَلاَحِ حَىَّ عَلَى الْفَلاَحِ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ " . ثُمَّ دَعَانِي حِينَ قَضَيْتُ التَّأْذِينَ فَأَعْطَانِي صُرَّةً فِيهَا شَىْءٌ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ ثُمَّ وَضَعَ يَدَهُ عَلَى نَاصِيَةِ أَبِي مَحْذُورَةَ ثُمَّ أَمَرَّهَا عَلَى وَجْهِهِ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ ثُمَّ عَلَى كَبِدِهِ ثُمَّ بَلَغَتْ يَدُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ سُرَّةَ أَبِي مَحْذُورَةَ ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ وَبَارَكَ عَلَيْكَ " . فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَمَرْتَنِي بِالتَّأْذِينِ بِمَكَّةَ قَالَ " نَعَمْ قَدْ أَمَرْتُكَ " . فَذَهَبَ كُلُّ شَىْءٍ كَانَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ مِنْ كَرَاهِيَةٍ وَعَادَ ذَلِكَ كُلُّهُ مَحَبَّةً لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَقَدِمْتُ عَلَى عَتَّابِ بْنِ أَسِيدٍ عَامِلِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ بِمَكَّةَ فَأَذَّنْتُ مَعَهُ بِالصَّلاَةِ عَلَى أَمْرِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ . قَالَ وَأَخْبَرَنِي ذَلِكَ مَنْ أَدْرَكَ أَبَا مَحْذُورَةَ عَلَى مَا أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَيْرِيزٍ .. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Basysysar] dan [Muhammad bin Yahya] keduanya berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu 'Ashim] berkata, telah memberitakan kepada kami [Ibnu Juraij] berkata, telah mengabarkan kepadaku [Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Malik bin Abu Mahdzurah] dari [Abdullah bin Muhairiz] -anak yatim yang berada dalam asuhan Abu Mahdzurah bin Mi'yar- tatkala dia akan mengirimnya ke Syam, lalu aku berkata kepada [Abu Mahdzurah]; "Wahai paman, aku keluar ke Syam, dan aku ingin bertanya bagaimana cara adzanmu?" lalu ia mengabarkan kepadaku, bahwa Abu Mahdzurah berkata; "Aku keluar bersama beberapa orang, maka ketika di tengah perjalanan mu`adzin Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam mengumandangkan adzan shalat di sisi Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, kami mendengar suara mu`adzin, dan kami menjauh sambil berteriak seraya menceritakan dan memperolok-oloknya. Maka hal itu didengar oleh Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam hingga beliau mengirimkan beberapa orang kepada kami, lalu mereka mendudukkan kami di hadapannya, beliau bersabda: "Kaliankah orang-orang yang aku dengar suaranya meninggi?! " Maka semua orang menunjuk kepadaku dan membenarkan. Lalu beliau melepaskan mereka semua dan menahanku, setelah itu berkata kepadaku: "Bangun dan adzanlah." Maka aku pun bangun, tidak ada sesuatu yang aku benci selain Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam dan apa yang ia perintahkan kepadaku. Lalu aku berdiri di hadapan Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, dan beliau sendiri yang mengajarkan lafadz adzan kepadaku. Beliau bersabda: "Ucapkanlah; ALLAHU AKBAR ALLAHU AKBAR ALLAHU AKBAR ALLAHU AKBAR (Allah Maha Besar. Allah Maha Besar. Allah Maha Besar. Allah Maha Besar). ASYHADU AN LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAH. ASYHADU AN LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAH (Aku bersaksi bahwa tidak ada Tuhan yang berhak disembah selain Allah. Aku bersaksi bahwa tidak ada Tuhan yang berhak disembah selain Allah). ASYHADU ANNA MUHAMMADAN RASULULLAH. ASYHADU ANNA MUHAMMADAN RASULULLAH (Aku bersaksi bahwa Muhammad adalah utusan Allah. Aku bersaksi bahwa Muhammad adalah utusan Allah)." Kemudian beliau bersabda kepadaku: "Keraskan suaramu ketika mengucapkan; ASYHADU AN LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAH. ASYHADU AN LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAH (Aku bersaksi bahwa tidak ada Tuhan yang berhak disembah selain Allah. Aku bersaksi bahwa tidak ada Tuhan yang berhak disembah selian Allah). ASYHADU ANNA MUHAMMADAN RASULULLAH. ASYHADU ANNA MUHAMMADAN RASULULLAH (Aku bersaksi bahwa Muhammad adalah utusan Allah. Aku bersaksi bahwa Muhammad adalah utusan Allah). HAYYA 'ALASH SHALAH. HAYYA 'ALASH SHALAH (Marilah menuju shalat. Marilah menuju shalat). HAYYA 'ALAL FALAH. HAYYA 'ALAL FALAH (Marilah menuju kemenangan. Marilah menuju kemenangan). ALLAHU AKBAR ALLAHU AKBAR (Allah Maha Besar. Allah Maha Besar). LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAH (Tidak ada Tuhan yang berhak disembah selain Allah)." Selesai aku mengumandangkan adzan beliau memanggilku. Beliau memberiku bungkusan yang di dalamnya terdapat perak, kemudian meletakkan tangannya di atas ubun-ubun Abu Mahdzurah, melewatkannya di depan wajahnya, terus pada kedua susunya hingga pada bagian hatinya. Bahkan tangan Rasulullah sampai ke pusar Abu Mahdzurah, setelah itu bersabda: "Semoga Allah memberimu berkah disaat suka maupun duka." Maka aku berkata; "Ya Rasulullah, apakah engkau menyuruhku untuk adzan di Makkah?" beliau menjawab: "Benar, aku telah menyuruhmu." Maka segala sesuatu yang aku benci pada diri Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam menjadi sirnah, dan berganti dengan rasa cinta kepada Rasulullah. Kemudian aku datang kepada 'Attab bin Usaid, pegawai Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam di Makkah, lalu bersamanya aku mengumandangkan adzan shalat berdasarkan perintah Rasulullah." Ia berkata; orang yang berjumpa Abu Mahzurah telah mengabarkan kepadaku seperti itu, sebagaimana kabar yang sampaikan oleh Abdullah bin Muhairiz kepadaku (Derajat: shahih. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Affan] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hammam bin Yahya] dari [Amir Al Ahwal] bahwa [Makhul] menceritakan kepadanya bahwa [Abdullah bin Muhairiz] menceritakan kepadanya, bahwa [Abu Mahdzurah] menceritakan kepadanya, ia berkata; "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam mengajariku adzan dengan sembilan belas kalimat, dan iqamah dengan tujuh belas kalimat.
