Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God willing God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings Allah's blessings النَّارِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Yazid bin Harun] said, has told us [Muhammad bin Abdullah Asy Syu'aitsi] from [his father] from [Anbasah bin Abu Sufyan] from [Ummu Habibah] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "Whoever prays four rak'ahs before midday prayers and after four raka'at, then Allah forbids him to go to hell (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1160.) 2nd hadith. God bless you Allah's blessings God willing Allah's blessings عليه وسلم ـ بِالنَّهَارْ فَقُلْنَا أَخْبِرْنَا بِهِ نَأْخُذْ مِنْهُ مَا اسْتَطَعْنَا ‏.” may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings هَاهُنَا - يَعْنِي مِنْ قِبَلِ الْمَشْرِقِ - بِمِقْدَارِهَا مِنْ صَلاَةِ الْعَصْرِ مِنْ هَا هُنَا - يَعْنِي مِنْ قِبَلِ الْمَغْرِبِ - قَامَ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ. - يَعْنِي مِنْ قِبَلِ الْمَشْرِقِ - مِقْدَارَهَا مِنْ صَلاَةِ الظُّهْرِ مِنْ هَا هُنَا قَامَ فَصَلَّى أَرْبَعًا. وَأَرْبَعًا قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ. وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَهَا. وَأَرْبَعًا قَبْلَ الْعَصْرِ. يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَ كُلِِ Allah's blessings. وَمَنْ تَبِعَهُمْ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنِينَ ‏.‏ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ: فَتِلْكَ سِتَّ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً. Allah's blessings. وَقَلَّ مَنْ يُدَاوِمُ عَلَيْهَا ‏.‏ قَالَ وَكِيعٌ: زَادَ name God willing مَسْجِدِكَ هَذَا ذَهَبًا ‏.‏. Has told us [Ali bin Muhammad] said, has told us [Waki'] said, has told us [Sufyan] and [My Father] and [Isra'il] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Ashim bin Dlamrah As Saluli] he said, "We asked [Ali] about the sunnah prayers of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam during the day," Ali answered, "You will not be able to," we said, "Let us know, we will do what we can," Ali said, "The Prophet's habit, sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, was that when he wanted to perform the Fajr prayer (dawn), he postponed it so that when the sun rose from this direction, namely from the east, the size was like the Asr prayer, when the sun came from this direction, namely from the west, then he performed two rak'ah prayers. Then he postponed it so that when the sun rose from this direction, namely from the east, the size of the midday prayer from this direction, namely from the west, then he performed four rak'ahs of sunnah prayers, and four rak'ahs before noon when the sun had set, and two rak'ah prayers after noon prayer, then he performed four rak'ahs of sunnah prayers before the Asr prayer, two rak'ahs each, separated by greetings to the Angels, the Prophets and those who followed them from the muslimin and believers." Ashim says; Ali said; "That's sixteen rak'ahs of the sunnah prayer of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam during the day and very few people are able to carry it out." Waki' said; in this hadith my father added; Habib Bin Abu Thabit said; O Abu Ishaq "O Abu Ishaq, I would not like it if your mosque was filled with gold compared to this hadith of yours (Degree: authentic. Allah's blessings God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. قَالَ قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏"‏ بَيْنَ كُلِّ أَذَانَيْنِ صَلاَةٌ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَهَا ثَلاَثًا قَالَ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ ‏"‏ لِمَنْ شَاءَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Abu Usamah] and [Waki'] from [Kahmas] said, has told us [Abdullah bin Buraidah] from [Abdullah bin Mughaffal] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Between the two calls to prayer there is a prayer, he said it three times, and on the third time he said: "For those who want (Degree: authentic. God bless you God willing زَيْدِ بْنِ جُدْعَانَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، يَقُولُ إِنْ كَانَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ لَيُؤَذِّنُ عَم رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ا God willing مِنْ كَثْرَةِ مَنْ يَقُومُ فَيُصَلِّي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْمَغْرِبِ ‏.‏. Has told us [Muhammad bin Basysyar] said, has told us [Muhammad bin Ja'far] said, has told us [Syu'bah] said; I heard [Ali bin Zaid bin Jud'an] say; I heard [Anas bin Malik] say, "At the time of Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, when a mu`adzin gave the call to prayer, we thought that it was iqamah because many people were doing it (sunnah prayers). Then he prayed two rak'ahs before maghrib (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1163.) 5th Hadith. God bless you Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يُصَلِّي الْمَغْرِبَ، ثُمَّ يَرْجِعُ إِلَى بَيْتِي فَيُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ ‏.‏. Has told us [Ya'qub bin Ibrahim Ad Dauraqi] said, has told us [Husyaim] from [Khalid Al Hadda] from [Abdullah bin Syaqiq] from ['Aisyah] he said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam prayed the maghrib prayer then returned to my house and prayed two raka'at (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1164.) 6th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing لَبِيدٍ، عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ، قَالَ أَتَانَا رَسُولُ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings فَصَلَّى بِنَا الْمَغْرِبَ فِي مَسْجِدِنَا ثُمَّ قَالَ " ارْكَعُوا هَاتَيْنِ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Abdul Wahhab bin Adl Dlahhak] said, has told us [Isma'il bin 'Ayyasy] from [Muhammad bin Ishaq] from ['Ashim bin Umar bin Qatadah] from [Mahmud bin Labid] from [Rafi' bin Khadij] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam came to us in Bani Abdul Asyhal, he prayed maghrib prayers with us in the mosque us, then he said: "Perform these two rak'ahs in your homes (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1165.) 7th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing God willing God willing God willing وَأَبِي، وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّ God willing God bless you أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ‏}‏ وَ ‏{قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ }‏ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Ahmad bin Al Azhar] said, has told us ['Abdurrahman bin Waqid]. (in another way it is mentioned) Has told us [Muhammad bin Mu`ammal bin Ash Shabbah] said, has told us [Badal bin Muhabbar] both said; has told us [Abdul Malik bin Al Walid] said, has told us ['Ashim bin Bahdalah] from [Zir] and [Abu Wa`il] from [Abdullah bin Mas'ud] said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam always read in two rak'ahs after maghrib QUL YAA AYYUHAL KAAFIRUUN (Say: "O you who disbelieve) and QUL HUWA ALLAHU AHAD (Say: "He is Allah, the One and Only) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1166.) 8th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وسلم ـ قَالَ ‏ "‏ مَنْ صَلَّى بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ سِتَّ God willing بِعِبَادَةِ ثِنْتَىْ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Ali bin Muhammad] said, has told us [Abul Husain Al 'Ukli] said, has reported to me [Umar bin Abu Khats'am Al Yamami] said, has reported to us [Yahya bin Abu Kathir] from [Abu Salamah bin 'Abdurrahman bin 'Auf] from [Abu Hurairah] that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Whoever prays after maghrib six rak'ahs, he does not speak bad words between the rak'ahs, then it is as if he prayed twelve rak'ahs for a year (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1167.) 9th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. عَبْدِ اللَّهْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you بِصَلاَةٍ، لَهِيَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ مِنْ حُمُرِ النَّعَمِ. may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings الْعِشَاءِ إِلَى أَنْ يَطْلُعَ الْفَجْرُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Muhmmad bin Rumh Al Mishri] said, has reported to us [Al Laits bin Sa'd] from [Yazid bin Abu Habib] from [Abdullah bin Rasyid Az Zaufi] from [Abdullah bin Abu Murrah Az Zaufi] from [Kharijah bin Hudzafah Al 'Adawi] he said "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam visited us, then he said: "Indeed Allah has ordained for you a prayer that is better for you than the red camel, namely the witr prayer. Allah has made this prayer for you between the Isha prayer until dawn (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1168.) 10th Hadith. God bless you God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God bless you وَلَكِنْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ أَوْتَرَ ‏.‏ ثُمَّ قَالَ ‏ "‏ يَا أَهْلَ الْقُرْآنِ أَوْتِرُوا. فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ وِتْرٌ يُحِبُّ الْوِتْرَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. It has been told to us that [Ali bin Muhammad] and [Muhammad bin Ash Shabbah] both said; has told us [Abu Bakr bin Ayyasy] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Ashim bin Dlamrah As Saluli] he said, "[Ali bin Abu Talib] said, "The witr prayer is not obligatory nor is it like your maktubah prayer, it's just that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam always did it, he said: "O people of the Qur'an, you should pray the witr prayer, indeed Allah loves the witr prayer (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1169.) 11th Hadith. God bless you God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you وِتْرٌ يُحِبُّ الْوِتْرَ فَأَوْتِرُوا يَا أَهْلَ الْقُرْآنِ ‏"‏ ‏." God willing ‏.‏. It has been told to us [Uthman bin Abu Syaibah] said, it has been told to us by [Abu Hafs Al Abbar] from [A'masy] from [Amru bin Murrah] from [Abu Ubaidah] from [Abdullah bin Mas'ud] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "Indeed, Allah is odd, loves the odd, so perform witr, O people of the Qur'an." Then a Bedouin said, "What did Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say?" He said: "Not for you and not for your friends (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1170.) 12th Hadith. God bless you God bless you God willing God willing كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يُوتِـ ‏{سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى}‏ وَ ‏{قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ}‏ وَ ‏{قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ‏}‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Uthman bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Abu Hafs Al Abbar] from [A'masy] from [Thalhah] and [Zaid] from [Dzarr] from [Sa'id bin 'Abdurrahman bin Abza] from [his father] from [Ubai bin Ka'b] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam performed the witr prayer by reading; "SABBIHISMA RABBIKAL A'LAA (Sanctify the name of your Lord, the Most High) and QUL YAA AYYUHAL KAAFIRUUN (Say: "O you who disbelieve) and QUL HUWAALLAHU AHAD (Say: "He is the One and Only Allah) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1171.) 13th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَم God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing ‏{سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى ‏}‏ وَ ‏{قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ }‏ وَ ‏{قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ }‏ ‏.‏ God bless you Allah's blessings God willing God willing ‏.‏. Has told us [Nashr bin Ali Al Jahdlami] said, has told us [Abu Ahmad] said, has told us [Yunus bin Abu Ishaq] from [his father] from [Sa'id bin Jubair] from [Ibn Abbas] he said, "Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam prays the witr prayer by reciting; SABBIHISMA RABBIKAL A'LAA (Sanctify the name Your Lord is the Most High) and QUL YAA AYYUHAL KAAFIRUUN (Say: "O you who disbelieve) and QUL HUWAALLAHU AHAD (Say: "He is the One and Only Allah" Has told us [Ahmad bin Manshur Abu Bakr] said; has told us [Shababah] said; has told us [Yunus bin Abu Ishaq] from [his father] from [Sa'id bin Jubair] from [Ibn Abbas] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam as in the hadith (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1172.) 14th Hadith. مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، وَأَبُو يُوسُفَ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدَ الْعَزِيزِ بْنْ شَىْءٍ كَانَ يُوتِرُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَتْ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الأُولَى بِـ ‏{سَبِّحِ God bless you أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ} ‏{قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ} وَالْمُعَوِّذَتَيْنِ ‏.‏. It has been told to us that [Muhammad bin Ash Shabbah] and [Abu Yusuf Ar Raqqi Muhammad bin Ahmad Ash Shaidalani] both said; has told us [Muhammad bin Salamah] from [Khushaif] from [Abdul Aziz bin Juraij] he said, "We asked ['Aisyah]; what letter did Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam usually use when performing the witr prayer?" he answered, "In the first raka'at Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam read 'SABBIHISMA RABBIKAL A'LAA (Sanctify the name of your Lord, the Most High), the second raka'at read QUL YAA AYYUHAL KAAFIRUUN (Say: "O you who disbelieve) and the third raka'at read QUL HUWAALLAHU AHAD (Say: "O people infidel) and AL MU'AWIDZATAIN (Al Falaq and An Nas) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1173.) 15th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing اللَّيْلِ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى. وَيُوتِرُ بِرَكْعَةٍ ‏.‏. Has told us [Ahmad bin Abdah] said, has told us [Hammad bin Zaid] from [Anas bin Sirin] from [Ibn Umar] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam prayed two raka'ats at night, two raka'ats, and witr with one raka'at (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1174.) 16th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. Allah's blessings قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏"‏ صَلاَةُ God willing God willing قَالَ اجْعَلْ أَرَأَيْتَ عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ النَّجْمِ ‏.‏ فَرَفَعْتُ رَأْسِي فَإِذَا السِّمَاكُ ثُمَِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ""‏ صَلاَةُ اللَّيْلِ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى. وَالْوِتْرُ رَكْعَةٌ قَبْلَ الصُّبْحِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Muhammad bin Abdul Malik bin Abu Asy Syawarib] said, has told us we [Abdul Wahid bin Ziyad] said, it was told to us [Ashim] from [Abu Mijlaz] from [Ibn Umar] he said, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "The night prayer is two rak'ahs and two rak'ahs, while the witr is one rak'ah." I asked, "What would you think if my eyes defeated me until I slept?" He answered, "Make your imagination on a star (meaning; sleep)," I lifted my head and it turned out that the star was visible. Ibn Umar repeated his words again, then he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "The night prayer is two raka'at, two raka'at, while the witr is one raka'at before dawn (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1175.) 17th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings كَيْفَ أُوتِرُ قَالَ أَوْتِرْ بِوَاحِدَةٍ ‏.‏ قَالَ إِنِّي God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you وَرَسُولِهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏.‏. Has told us ['Abdurrahman bin Ibrahim Ad Dimasyqi] said, has told us [Al Walid bin Muslim] said, has told us [Al Auza'i] said, has told us [Al Muthallib bin Abdullah] he said, "A man asked [Ibn Umar], "How many rak'ahs should I pray witr?" he answered, "Witir one rak'ah," the man said, "I'm worried people will say to me Butaira`," Ibn Umar said, "The Sunnah of Allah and His Messenger," meaning; this is the sunnah of Allah and His Messenger sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1176.) 18th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing بِوَاحِدَةٍ ‏.‏. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Shababah] from [Ibn Abu Dzi`b] from [Az Zuhri] from [Urwah] from ['Aisyah] he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said salam every two rak'ahs and witr with one rak'ah (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1177.) 19th hadith. God willing God willing مَرْيَمَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْحَوْرَاءِ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings عليه وسلم ـ كَلِمَاتٍ أَقُولُهُنَّ فِي قُنُوتِ الْوِتْرِ ‏ "‏ اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِى God bless you قَضَيْتَ وَبَارِكْ لِي فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتَ إِنَّكَ تَقْضِي وَلاَ يُقْضَى عَلَيْكَ إِنَّهُ لاَ يَذِلُّ مَنْ وَالَيْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ رَبَّنَا تَبَارَكْتَ وَتَعَالَيْتَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Sharik] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Buraid bin Abu Maryam] from [Abu Al Haura`] from [Al Hasan bin Ali] he said, "My grandfather, Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam taught me several sentences that I read when qunut in witr prayer; ALLAHUMMA 'AAFANI FIIMAN 'AAFAITA WA TAWALLANII FIIMAN TAWALLAITA WAH DINII FIIMAN HADAITA WAQINII MAA QADLAITA WA BAARIKLII FIIMAA A'THAITA INNAKA TAQDLII WA LAA YUQDLAA 'ALAIKA INNAHU LAA YADZILLU MAN WAA LAITA SUBHAANAKA RABBANAA TABAARAKTA WA TA'AALAIKA (Degree: authentic. God willing الله عليه وسلم ـ كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي آخِرِ وِتْرِهِ "‏ God willing God bless you God willing نَفْسِكَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Abu Umar Hafsh bin Amru] said, has told us [Bahz bin Asad] said, has told us [Hammad bin Salamah] said, has told me [Hisyam bin Amru Al Fazari] from ['Abdurrahman bin Harith bin Hisyam Al Makhzumi] from [Ali bin Abu Talib] said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam at the end of the witr prayer read the prayer, "ALLHUMMA INNI A'UUDZU BI RIDLAAKA MIN SUKHTIKA WA A'UUDZU BI MU'AAFAATIKA MIN 'UQUUBATIKA WA A'UUDZU BIKA MINKA LAA UHSHI TSNAA`AN 'ALAIKA ANTA KAMAA ATSNAITA 'ALAA NAFSIKA (O Allah, verily, I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your wrath, and I seek refuge in Your forgiveness from Your torment, and I seek refuge in You from You, I cannot count Your praises, You as You praise Yourself) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1179.) 21st Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَم يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي God willing نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ كَانَ لاَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ فِي شَىْءٍ مِنْ دُعَائِهِ إِلاَّ عِنْدَ God willing كَانَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ إِبْطَيْهِ ‏.‏. It has been told to us [Nashr bin Ali Al Jahdlami] said, it has been told to us [Yazid bin Zurai'] said, it has been told to us [Sa'id bin Abu Arubah] from [Qatadah] from [Anas bin Malik] said, "The Prophet of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam never raised his hands when praying except during the istisqa prayer. It has been told to us that [Abu Kuraib] and [Muhammad bin Ash Shabbah] both said; has told us ['A`id bin Habib] from [Salih bin Hassan Al Ansari] from [Muhammad bin Ka'ab Al Qurazhi] from [Ibn Abbas] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "When you pray to Allah, use the inside of your palms and not the outside, when you have finished praying then wipe your face with both (Degree: authentic. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakr bin Ayyasy] dari [Abu Hushain] dari [Yahya bin Watstsab] dari [Masruq] ia berkata, "Aku pernah bertanya kepada ['Aisyah] tentang witirnya Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, lalu ia menjawab, "Beliau pernah witir di awal malam, tengah malam dan waktu witirnya berakhir di akhir malam, di waktu sahur (Derajat: shahih. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ رَسُولَ ‏ "‏ مَنْ خَافَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ لاَ يَسْتَيْقِظَ مِنْ آخِرِ God willing لْيَرْقُدْ. وَمَنْ طَمِعَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَسْتَيْقِظَ مِنْ آخِرِ God. فَإِنَّ قِرَاءَةَ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ مَحْضُورَةٌ. وَذَلِكَ أَفْضَلُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Abdullah bin Sa'id] said, has told us [Ibn Abu Ghaniah] said, has told us [Al A'masy] from [Abu Sufyan] from [Jabir] from Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi Wasallam, he said: "Whoever of you is worried that he will not be able to wake up at the end of the night, let him witr at the beginning of the night and then go to sleep, and whoever is able to wake up at the end of the night, let him witr at the end of the night, because the prayer at the end of the night is witnessed. Has told us [Abu Mush'ab Ahmad bin Abu Bakr Al Madini] and [Suwaid bin Sa'id] said; has told us ['Abdurrahman bin Zaid bin Aslam] from [his father] from ['Atho` bin Yasar] from [Abu Sa'id] he said, "Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Whoever misses the witr prayer because he slept or forgot, let him do it when he wakes up (dawn) or remembers (Degree: authentic. God bless you God willing مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي God bless you الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏ "‏ أَوْتِرُوا قَبْلَ أَنْ تُصْبِحُوا ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ دَلِيلٌ عَلَى أَنَّ حَدِيثَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَاهٍ ‏.‏. Has told us [Muhammad bin Yahya] and [Ahmad Ibnul Azhar] both said; has told us [Abdurrazaq] said, has reported to us [Ma'mar] from [Yahya bin Abu Kathir] from [Abu Nadlrah] from [Abu Sa'id] he said, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Witir before dawn comes. " Muhammad bin Yahya said, "This hadith is a proof that the hadith of 'Abdurrahman is weak (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1189.) 31st Hadith. God willing God willing God willing God willing رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ "" حَقٌّ. بِخَمْسٍ فَلْيُوتِرْ بِثَلاَثٍ شَاءَ فَلْيُوتِرْ بِوَاحِدَةٍ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. It has been told to us ['Abdurrahman bin Ibrahim bin Ad Dimasyqi] said, it has been told to us [Al Firyabi] from [Al Auza'i] from [Az Zuhri] from ['Atho` bin Yazid Al Laitsi] from [Abu Ayyub Al Ansari] that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Witr is haq (required), whoever wishes he can witr five raka'at, whoever wishes can witr three raka'at and whoever wishes can witr one raka'at (Degree: authentic. Hadits ke-32. حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ قُلْتُ يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَفْتِنِي عَنْ وِتْرِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏.‏ قَالَتْ كُنَّا نُعِدُّ لَهُ سِوَاكَهُ وَطَهُورَهُ فَيَبْعَثُهُ اللَّهُ فِيمَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَبْعَثَهُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَيَتَسَوَّكُ وَيَتَوَضَّأُ ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي تِسْعَ رَكَعَاتٍ لاَ يَجْلِسُ فِيهَا إِلاَّ عِنْدَ الثَّامِنَةِ فَيَدْعُو رَبَّهُ فَيَذْكُرُ اللَّهَ وَيَحْمَدُهُ وَيَدْعُوهُ ثُمَّ يَنْهَضُ وَلاَ يُسَلِّمُ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيُصَلِّي التَّاسِعَةَ ثُمَّ يَقْعُدُ فَيَذْكُرُ اللَّهَ وَيَحْمَدُهُ وَيَدْعُو رَبَّهُ وَيُصَلِّي عَلَى نَبِيِّهِ ثُمَّ يُسَلِّمُ تَسْلِيمًا يُسْمِعُنَا ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ مَا يُسَلِّمُ وَهُوَ قَاعِدٌ فَتِلْكَ إِحْدَى عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً فَلَمَّا أَسَنَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَأَخَذَ اللَّحْمُ أَوْتَرَ بِسَبْعٍ وَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ مَا سَلَّمَ ‏.‏. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Bisyr] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Sa'id bin Abu Arubah] dari [Qatadah] dari [Zurarah bin Abu Aufa] dari [Sa'd bin Hisyam] ia berkata, "Aku bertanya kepada ['Aisyah], "Aku katakan, "Wahai Ummul mukminin, berilah fatwa kami tentang witirnya Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam! " ia menjawab, "Kami menyiapkan siwak dan air wudlu beliau, lalu Allah membangunkannya atas kehendak-Nya kapan beliau harus bangun. Beliau bersiwak dan wudlu, kemudian shalat sembilan raka'at tanpa duduk kecuali pada raka'at ke delapan. Beliau berdo`a, dzikir kepada Allah, memuji dan memohon kepada-Nya. Kemudian beliau berdiri tanpa salam terlebih dahulu, lalu diam berdiri. Setelah itu beliau shalat pada raka'at kesembilan, lalu duduk dan dzikir kepada Allah, memuji, memohon kepada Rabbnya, dan bershalawat atas Nabi-Nya. Kemudian beliau mengucapkan salam dengan suara keras hingga kami mendengarnya, setelah salam itu beliau shalat lagi dua raka'at dalam keadaan duduk. Maka itulah sebelas raka'at. Setelah Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam berusia senja, beliau witir tujuh raka'at dan shalat dua raka'at setelah salam (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1191.) Hadits ke-33. حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ زُهَيْرٍ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يُوتِرُ بِسَبْعٍ أَوْ بِخَمْسٍ لاَ يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَهُنَّ بِتَسْلِيمٍ وَلاَ كَلاَمٍ ‏.‏. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Humaid bin 'Abdurrahman] dari [Zuhair] dari [Mansur] dari [Al Hakam] dari [Miqsam] dari [Ummu Salamah] ia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam mengerjakan shalat witir dengan tujuh atau lima raka'at, dan beliau tidak memisahkannya dengan salam atau perkataan (Derajat: shahih. Hadits ke-34. حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَنْبَأَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يُصَلِّي فِي السَّفَرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ. لاَ يَزِيدُ عَلَيْهِمَا. وَكَانَ يَتَهَجَّدُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ ‏.‏ قُلْتُ وَكَانَ يُوتِرُ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ ‏.‏. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ahmad bin Sinan] dan [Ishaq bin Manshur] keduanya berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yazid bin Harun] berkata, telah memberitakan kepada kami [Syu'bah] dari [Jabir] dari [Salim] dari [bapaknya] ia berkata, "Dalam safar Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam shalat dua raka'at tidak lebih, dan beliau selalu shalat malam. " Aku berkata, "Beliau juga shalat witir?! Ia menjawab, "Benar (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1193.) Hadits ke-35. حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، وَابْنِ، عُمَرَ قَالاَ سَنَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ صَلاَةَ السَّفَرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَهُمَا تَمَامٌ غَيْرُ قَصْرٍ وَالْوِتْرُ فِي السَّفَرِ سُنَّةٌ ‏.‏. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Isma'il bin Musa] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Syarik] dari [Jabir] dari [Amir] dari [Ibnu Abbas] dan [Ibnu Umar] keduanya berkata; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam memberi contoh shalat safar dengan dua raka'at, sempurna dan tidak diringkas. Dan shalat witir dalam perjalanan adalah sunnah (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1194.) Hadits ke-36. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مَيْمُونُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْمَرَئِيُّ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ كَانَ يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْوِتْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ، وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ ‏.‏. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Basysyar] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hammad bin Mas'adah] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Maimun bin Musa Al Mara`i] dari [Al Hasan] dari [Ibunya] dari [Ummu Salamah] berkata, "Setelah witir beliau melaksanakan shalat dua raka'at yang ringan sambil duduk (Derajat: shahih. Hadits ke-37. حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَتْنِي عَائِشَةُ، قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يُوتِرُ بِوَاحِدَةٍ. ثُمَّ يَرْكَعُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ يَقْرَأُ فِيهِمَا وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ. فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ، قَامَ فَرَكَعَ ‏.‏. Telah menceritakan kepada kami ['Abdurrahman bin Ibrahim Ad Dimasyqi] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Umar bin Abdul Wahid] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Auza'i] dari [Yahya bin Abu Katsir] dari [Abu Salamah] berkata; telah menceritakan kepadaku ['Aisyah] ia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam shalat witir satu raka'at, kemudian beliau mengerjakan shalat dua raka'at sambil membaca sedang beliau duduk, jika akan rukuk beliau bangun kemudian baru rukuk (Derajat: shahih. Hadits ke-38. حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، وَسُفْيَانَ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ مَا كُنْتُ أُلْفِي - أَوْ أَلْقَى - النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ مِنْ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ إِلاَّ وَهُوَ نَائِمٌ عِنْدِي ‏.‏ قَالَ وَكِيعٌ تَعْنِي بَعْدَ الْوِتْرِ ‏.‏. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ali bin Muhammad] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Waki'] dari [Mis'ar] dan [Sufyan] dari [Sa'd bin Ibrahim] dari [Abu Salamah bin 'Abdurrahman] dari ['Aisyah] ia berkata, "Aku tidak pernah mendapati Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam di akhir malam kecuali dalam keadaan tidur. Hadits ke-39. حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ إِذَا صَلَّى رَكْعَتَىِ الْفَجْرِ اضْطَجَعَ عَلَى شِقِّهِ الأَيْمَنِ ‏.‏. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Isma'il bin Ulayyah] dari ['Abdurrahman bin Ishaq] dari [Az Zuhri] dari [Urwah] dari ['Aisyah] ia berkata, "Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam jika selesai melaksanakan shalat dua raka'at sebelum fajar, beliau berbaring pada sisi sebelah kanan (Derajat: shahih. Hadits ke-40. حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنِي سُهَيْلُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ إِذَا صَلَّى رَكْعَتَىِ الْفَجْرِ اضْطَجَعَ ‏.‏. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Umar bin Hisyam] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [An Nadlr bin Syumail] berkata, telah memberitakan kepada kami [Syu'bah] berkata, telah menceritakan kepadaku [Suhail bin Abu Shalih] dari [Bapaknya] dari [Abu Hurairah] ia berkata, "Jika Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam selesai dari dua raka'at fajar, beliau berbaring (Derajat: shahih.
