Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind Allah's blessings God willing God willing لاَ تَدْفِنُوا مَوْتَاكُمْ بِاللَّيْلِ إِلاَّ أَنْ تُضْطَرُّوا " .. Has told us [Amru bin Abdullah Al Audi] said, has told us [Waki'] from [Ibrahim bin Yazid Al Makki] from [Abu Az Zubair] from [Jabir bin Abdullah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Do not bury those who have died among you at night, unless you are forced to (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1521.) 2nd hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you مَوْتَاكُمْ بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ " .. Has told us [Al Abbas bin Uthman Ad Dimasyqi] said, has told us [Al Walid bin Muslim] from [Ibn Lahi'ah] from [Abu Zubair] from [Jabir bin Abdullah] said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Pray for those who have died from you both during the day and at night (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1522.) 3rd Hadith. Allah's blessings يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ, عَنْ نَافِعٍ، God willing God willing فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَعْطِنِي قَمِيصَكَ أُكَفِّنْهُ فِيهِ ." God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing الْخَطَّابِ مَا ذَاكَ لَكَ . فَصَلَّى عَم may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وسلم ـ " أَنَا بَيْنَ خِيرَتَيْنِ {اسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ أَوْ لاَ تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ } " . فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ God bless you أَبَدًا وَلاَ تَقُمْ عَلَى قَبْرِهِ} .. Has told us [Abu Bisyir Bakr bin Khalaf] said, has told us [Yahya bin Sa'id] from [Ubaidullah] from [Nafi'] from [Ibn Umar] he said, "When Abdullah bin Ubai died, his son came to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam and said, "O Rasulullah, give me your robe so that I can use it to shroud him," Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi Wasallam also said: "Tell me (if he is ready). " So when the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam wanted to pray for him, Umar Ibnul Khtahthab said to him, "What are you doing?" The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam then prayed for him, after that he said: "I am between two choices; (Whether you ask for forgiveness for them or not ask for forgiveness for them (is the same). So Allah Azza Wa Jalla revealed: (And never worship (the body of) a dead person among them, and do not stand (pray) at his grave (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1523.) 4th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. مُجَالِدٍ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍْ God willing God willing فِي قَمِيصِهِ فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ وَكَفَّنَهُ فِي قَمِيصِهِ وَقَامَ عَلَى قَبْرِهِ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ {وَلاَ تُصَلِّ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings قَبْرِهِ} .. It has been told to us that [Ammar bin Khalid Al Wasithi] and [Sahl bin Abu Sahl] both said; has told us [Yahya bin Sa'id] from [Mujalid] from [Amir] from [Jabir] he said, "One of the leaders of the hypocrites of Medina died. And he gave a will that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam pray for him and shroud him in his robe. So he prayed and shrouded him in his robe, and stood over his grave. Until Allah sends down the verse; (And do not pray for one of those who dies forever, and do not stand over his grave) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1524.) 5th Hadith. God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings نَبْهَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا عُتْبَةُ بْنُ يَقْظَانَ، عَنْ or God willing قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " صَلُّوا عَلَى كُلِّ مَيِّتٍ وَجَاهِدُوا مَعَ كُلِّ أَمِيرٍ " .. Has told us [Ahmad bin Yusuf As Sulami] said, has told us [Muslim bin Ibrahim] said, has told us [Al Harith bin Nabhan] said, has told us [Utbah bin Yaqzhan] from [Abu Sa'id] from [Makhul] from [Watsilah bin Al Asqa'] he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Pray for every dead person and fight jihad with every leader (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1525.) 6th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God bless you God willing God willing فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ . قَالَ وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ أَدَبًا مِنْهُ .. It has been told to us [Abdullah bin Amir bin Zurarah] said, it has been told to us [Syarik bin Abdullah] from [Simak bin Harb] from [Jabir bin Samurah] said, "A man from the companions of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam was injured so that he was tormented by pain, he then crept towards a sword and killed himself with it, until the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam did not want to pray for him. Jabir bin Abdullah said, "That is a form of lesson from him (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1526.) 7th Hadith. God bless you God willing هُرَيْرَةَ، . أَنَّ امْرَأَةً، سَوْدَاءَ كَانَتْ تَقُمُّ God willing God bless you . قَالَ " فَهَلاَّ آذَنْتُمُونِي " . فَأَتَى قَبْرَهَا فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهَا .. Has told us [Ahmad bin Abdah] said, has told us [Hammad bin Zaid] said, has told us [Tsabit] from [Abu Rafi'] from [Abu Hurairah] said, "Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam felt the loss of a black woman who used to look after (cleaning) the mosque, then he found out about her after several days. Then it was said to him, "The woman has died," he said. said: "Why didn't you tell me! "He went to his grave and offered prayers (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1527.) 8th Hadith. God willing God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَكَانَ، أَكْبَرَ مِنْ زَيْدٍ قَالَ خَرَجْنَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَلَمَّا وَرَدَ الْبَقِيعَ فَإِذَا هُوَ بِقَبْرٍ جَدِيدٍ فَسَأَلَ عَنْهُ فَقَالُوا فُلاَنَةُ . قَالَ فَعَرَفَهَا وَقَالَ " أَلاَ آذَنْتُمُونِي بِهَا " . قَالُوا كُنْتَ قَائِلاً صَائِمًا فَكَرِهْنَا أَنْ نُؤْذِيَكَ . قَالَ " فَلاَ تَفْعَلُوا لاَ أَعْرِفَنَّ مَا مَاتَ فِيكُمْ مَيِّتٌ مَا كُنْتُ بَيْنَ أَظْهُرِكُمْ إِلاَّ God bless you " ." عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Husyaim] said, has told us [Uthman bin Hakim] said, has told us [Kharijah bin Zaid bin Thabit] from [Yazid bin Thabit] -and he is older than Zaid-. Yazid said, "We went out with the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, when we passed Baqi' there was a new grave, he asked about the grave. The friends answered, "This is the grave of the fulanah (a woman's grave). " Yazid said, "It turns out he knew her, he then said: "Why didn't you tell me! " They answered: "You were taking a nap and fasting, so we didn't want to disturb you. " He answered: "You should not do that. I really don't know at all. It is not for one of you to die and I am among you, but you must inform me. Because actually my prayer is a blessing for him. "Then he went to the grave while we made rows behind him, and he performed the takbir four times (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1528.) 9th Hadith. God bless you عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you God willing " هَلاَّ آذَنْتُمُونِي بِهَا " . ثُمَّ قَالَ لأَصْحَابِهِ " صُفُّوا عَلَيْهَا " . فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهَا .. Has told us [Ya'qub bin Humaid bin Kasib] said, has told us [Abdul Aziz bin Muhammad Ad Darawardi] from [Muhammad bin Zaid bin Al Muhajir bin Qunfudz] from [Abdullah bin Amir bin Rabi'ah] from [his father] said, "A black woman died, while the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam was not informed. After that he was informed, he said: "Why didn't you tell me?" He said again to his companions: "Line up." Then he prayed it (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1529.) 10th Hadith. God bless you God bless you God willing رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَعُودُهُ. فَدَفَنُوهُ بِاللَّيْلِ. فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ أَعْلَمُوهُ. فَقَالَ " مَا مَنَعَكُمْ أَنْ تُعْلِمُونِي " . قَالُوا God bless you نَشُقَّ عَلَيْكَ . فَأَتَى قَبْرَهُ، فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ .. It has been told to us [Ali bin Muhammad] said, it has been told to us [Abu Mu'awiyah] from [Abu Ishaq Asy Syaibani] from [Ash Sya'bi] from [Ibn Abbas] he said, "A man died, and he used to visit him. The Companions then buried him at night, when in the morning they told him. He then said: "What prevented you from telling me?" they answered, "We buried him at night, and it was very dark, so we didn't want to trouble you. " He then went to his grave and prayed over it (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1530.) 11th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ or God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. Allah's blessings God willing قُبِرَ .. It has been told to us that [Al Abbas bin Abdul Azhim Al 'Anbari] and [Muhammad bin Yahya] both said; has told us [Ahmad bin Hanbal] said, has told us [Ghundar] from [Syu'bah] from [Habib bin Asy Syahid] from [Tsabit] from [Anas] said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam prayed over the grave after (the body) was buried (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1531.) 12th Hadith. God bless you God willing ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ God willing مَا دُفِنَ .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Humaid] said, has told us [Mihran bin Abu Umar] from [Abu Sinan] from [Alqamah bin Martsad] from [Ibn Buraidah] from [his father] said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam prayed for the corpse after burial (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1532.) 13th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing قَالَ كَانَتْ سَوْدَاءُ تَقُمُّ الْمَسْجِدَ فَتُوُفِّيَتْ لَيْلاً فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ أُخْبِرَ بِمَوْتِهَا فَقَالَ " أَلاَ آذَنْتُمُونِي بِهَا " ." فَكَبَّرَ عَلَيْهَا وَالنَّاسُ مِنْ خَلْفِهِ وَدَعَا لَهَا ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ .. Has told us [Abu Kuraib] said, has told us [Sa'id bin Syurahbil] from [Ibn Lahi'ah] from [Ubaidullah bin Al Mughirah] from [Abul Haitsam] from [Abu Sa'id] he said, "There used to be a black woman who often swept the mosque, one night she died. In the morning, Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam was given news about her death, so he said: "Why didn't you tell me?" He and his companions then came out and stood over his grave. He performed takbir (prayer) for him while he prayed for him and then left. 14th Hadith. God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ "" النَّجَاشِيَّ قَدْ مَاتَ " ." صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَأَصْحَابُهُ إِلَى الْبَقِيعِ . God bless you عليه وسلم ـ فَكَبَّرَ أَرْبَعَ تَكْبِيرَاتٍ .. It has been told to us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, it has been told to us by [Abdul A'la] from [Ma'mar] from [Az Zuhri] from [Sa'id Ibnul Musayyab] from [Abu Hurairah] that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "King Najasyi has died." Then Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam and his companions went out towards Baqi', we made rows behind him while Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam came forward and said takbir four times (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1534.) 15th Hadith. God bless you قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings يُونُسَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنْ God willing فَصَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ " . قَالَ فَقَامَ فَصَلَّيْنَا God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing صفَّين.. It has been told to us that [Yahya bin Khalaf] and [Muhammad bin Ziyad] both said; has told us [Bisyr Ibnul Mufadldlal]. (in another way mentioned) Has told us [Amru bin Rafi'] said, has told us [Husyaim] everything from [Yunus] from [Abu Qilabah] from [Abu Al Muhallab] from [Imran Ibnul Hushain] that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Raja Najasyi, your brother has died. Pray for him." Imran Ibnul Hushain said, "He then stood up and we prayed behind him. I was in the second row, and there were two rows praying to him (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1535.) 16th Hadith. God willing مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ حُمْرَانَ بْنْ God willing اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " النَّجَاشِيَّ قَدْ مَاتَ فَقُومُوا فَصَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ " . فَصَففنَا خَلْفَهُ صَفَّيْنِ .. It has been told to us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, it has been told to us [Mu'awiyah bin Hisham] said, it has been told to us [Sufyan] from [Humran bin A'yan] from [Abu Thufail] from [Mujammi' bin Jariyah Al Ansari] that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Indeed, your brother Najasyi has died, so stand and pray for him." Then we made two rows behind him (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1536.) 17th Hadith. God bless you الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، عَنْ God bless you God willing فَقَالَ " صَلُّوا عَلَى أَخٍ لَكُمْ مَاتَ بِغَيْرِ أَرْضِكُمْ " . قَالُوا: مَنْ هُوَ؟ قَالَ: " النَّجَاشِيُّ " .. Has told us [Muhammad Ibnul Mutsanna] said, has told us ['Abdurrahman bin Mahdi] from [Al Mutsanna bin Sa'id] from [Qatadah] from [Abu Ath Thufail] from [Hidzaifah bin Asid] said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam came out with his companions, he then said: "Pray for your brother who died in another place," the companions asked, "Who that?" he said: "Najasyi (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1537.) 18th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. عَلَى النَّجَاشِيِّ فَكَبَّرَ أَرْبَعًا .. Has told us [Sahl bin Abu Sahl] said, has told us [Makki bin Ibrahim Abu Sakan] from [Malik] from [Nafi'] from [Ibn Umar] said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam prayed Najasyi, then he said four takbirs (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1538.) 19th hadith. God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you جِنَازَةٍ فَلَهُ قِيرَاطٌ وَمَنْ مِنْهَا فَلَهُ قِيرَاطَانِ " . قَالُوا وَمَا الْقِيرَاطَانِ قَالَ " مِثْلُ الْجَبَلَيْنِ " .. It has been told to us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, it has been told to us by [Abdul A'la] from [Ma'mar] from [Az Zuhri] from [Sa'id Ibnul Musayyab] from [Abu Hurairah] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "Whoever prays for the corpse will get the reward of one qirath, and whoever waits for it to be buried will get the reward of two qirath." The companions asked, "How many are two qirath?" he replied: "Like two big mountains (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1539.) 20th hadith. God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings قِيرَاطٌ وَمَنْ شَهِدَ دَفْنَهَا فَلَهُ قِيرَاطَانِ " . قَالَ: فَسُئِلَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ عَنِ الْقِيرَاطِ؟ فَقَالَ " مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ " .. Has told us [Humaid bin Mas'adah] said, has told us [Khalid Ibnul Harith] said, has told us [Sa'id] from [Qatadah] said, has told me [Salim bin Abu Al Ja'd] from [Ma'dan bin Abu Thalhah] from [Tsauban] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Whoever prays for a corpse, he will get the reward is one qirath, and whoever witnesses it until it is buried will get the reward of two qirath. " Ma'dan said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam was then asked about the size of the qirath, he answered: "Like Mount Uhud (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1540.) 21st Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you وَمَنْ شَهِدَهَا حَتَّى تُدْفَنَ فَلَهُ قِيرَاطَانِ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ الْقِيرَاطُ أَعْظَمُ مِنْ أُحُم هَذَا " .. It has been told to us [Abdullah bin Sa'id] said, it has been told to us ['Abdurrahman Al Muharibi] from [Hajjaj bin Arthah] from [Adi bin Thabit] from [Zir bin Hubasiy] from [Ubai bin Ka'b] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Whoever prays for a dead body, he will be rewarded with one qirath, and whoever witnesses it until buried, he will be rewarded with two qirath. And by the One in Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad, one qirath is greater than this mountain of Uhud (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1541.) 22nd Hadith. God willing God willing رَبِيعَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ح: وَحَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، God bless you God bless you عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ: " إِذَا رَأَيْتُمُ الْجِنَازَةَ فَقُومُوا لَهَا حَتَّى تُخَلِّفَكُمْ أَوْ تُوضَعَ " .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Rumh] said, has told us [Al Laits bin Sa'd] from [Nafi'] from [Ibn Umar] from [Amir bin Rabi'ah] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. (in another way it is mentioned) Has told us [Hisyam bin Ammar] said, has told us [Sufyan] from [Az Zuhri] from [Salim] from [his father] from [Amir bin Rabi'ah] that he heard it narrated from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "If you see a corpse then stand until it passes you, or until it is placed (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1542.) 23rd Hadith. God willing God willing مُحَمَّدِ بْنْ هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ مُرَّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ بِجِنَازَةٍ فَقَامَ وَقَالَ " قُومُوا فَإِنَّ لِلْمَوْتِ فَزَعًا " .. It has been told to us that [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] and [Hannad bin As Sarri] both said; has told us [Abdah bin Sulaiman] from [Muhammad bin Amru] from [Abu Salamah] from [Abu Hurairah] he said, "A body passed in front of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, then he stood up and said: "Get up, because in death there is fear (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1543.) 24th Hadith. God bless you God willing God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings حَتَّى جَلَسَ فَجَلَسْنَا .. Having told us [Ali bin Muhammad] and [Waki'] from [Syu'bah] from [Muhammad Ibnul Munkadir] from [Mas'ud Ibnul Hakam] from [Ali bin Abu Talib] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam stood up when there was a body, so we also stood up. When he sat down, we sat down too (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1544.) 25th Hadith. God bless you God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. جُنَادَةَ بْنْ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings may Allah bless him and give him peace هَكَذَا نَصْنَعُ يَا مُحَمَّدُ . فَجَلَسَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَقَالَ " خَالِفُوهُمْ " .. It has been told to us that [Muhammad bin Basysyar] and [Uqbah bin Mukram] both said; has told us [Shafwan bin Isa] said, has told us [Bisyr bin Rafi'] from [Abdullah bin Sulaiman bin Junadah bin Abu Umayyah] from [his father] from [his grandfather] from [Ubadah bin Ash Shamit] he said, "If the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam accompanies a body then he does not sit down until it is placed in the grave. Then a bishop met him and said, "O Muhammad, we also do like this. " Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam then sat down and said: "Differentiate between them (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1545.) 26th Hadith.
