Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God bless you كَفَى لَهُمَا طَوَافٌ وَاحِدٌ وَلَمْ يَحِلَّ حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ حَجَّهُ وَيَحِلَّ مِنْهُمَا جَمِيعًا " .. Has told us [Muhriz bin Salamah]; has narrated to us ['Abdul Aziz bin Muhammad] from ['Ubaidullah] from [Nafi'] from [Ibn Umar] radiallahu 'anhu, that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Whoever intends to perform ihram to perform Hajj and Umrah (simultaneously), then it is enough for him to do one tawaf, and he will not perform Tahallul until he completes his Hajj, (only then) Tahallul for both (hajj and umrah) at the same time (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 2975.) 2nd hadith. God willing مُحَمَّدُ مُصْعَبٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، - يَعْنِي دُحَيْمًا - may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing God willing God willing اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ وَهُوَ بِالْعَقِيقِ " God willing الْمُبَارَكِ وَقُلْ عُمْرَةٌ فِي حَجَّةٍ " . وَاللَّفْظُ لِدُحَيْمٍ .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah]; has told us [Muhammad bin Mus'ab]; has told us [Abdurrahman bin Ibrahim Ad Dimasyqi] namely Duhaima; has told us [Al Walid bin Muslim], both of them said; has told us [Al Auza'i]; has told me [Yahya bin Abu Kathir]; has told me ['Ikrimah]; has told us [Ibn 'Abbas]; has told me [Umar bin Khaththab] radliallahu 'anhu, he said; "I heard the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say while in 'Aqiq: 'A messenger from my Lord came to me, saying. "Pray in this blessed valley, and say: 'Umrah and Hajj'." This lafadz is from Duhaim (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 2976.) 3rd Hadith. God willing مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God bless you, God bless you, God bless you ـ خَطِيبًا فِي هَذَا الْوَادِي فَقَالَ " أَلاَ إِنَّ God willing الْقِيَامَةِ " .. It has been told to us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] and [Ali bin Muhammad], both of them said; has told us [Waki'] from [Mis'ar] from [Abdul Malik bin Maisarah] from [Thawus] from [Suraqah bin Ju'tsam], he said; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam rose to preach in this blessed valley, saying: "Remember that Hajj Tamattu' (has been prescribed) until the Day of Judgment (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 2977.) 4th Hadith. God bless you God willing يَزِيدَ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ عَنْ أَخِيهِ، مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings يَنْفَعَكَ بِهِ بَعْدَ الْيَوْمِ اعْلَمْ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَدْ أَعْمَرَ طَائِفَةً مِنْ أَهْلِهِ فِي الْعَشْرْ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings فِي ذَلِكَ بَعْدُ رَجُلٌ بِرَأْيِهِ مَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَقُولَ .. Has told us ['Ali bin Muhammad]; has told us [Abu Usamah] from [Al Jurairi] from [Abul Ala` Yazid bin Asy Syikhkhir] from his brother [Mutharrif bin Abdullah bin Asy Syikhkhir], he said; [Imran bin Al Hushain] said to me; "I will convey a hadith to you, hopefully it will be useful today. Be aware that a group of the Prophet's family performed the Umrah in the month of Dzulhijjah, while he did not forbid it nor did he descend (nash) who ordered it. And later someone (usually) will have an opinion as they please on this issue (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 2978.) 5th Hadith. God willing God bless you وَحَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you فَإِنَّكَ لاَ تَدْرِي مَا أَحْدَثَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فِي God willing. God willing. God willing. God willing عُمَرُ قَدْ عَلِمْتُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله God bless you God bless you يَرُوحُونَ بِالْحَجِّ تَقْطُرُ رُءُوسُهُمْ .. It has been told to us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] and [Muhammad bin Basysyar], both of them said; has told us [Muhammad bin Ja'far]; has told us [Nashr bin 'Ali Al Jahdlami]; have told us [my father], both of them said; has told us [Syu'bah] from [Al Hakam] from ['Umarah bin 'Umair] from [Ibrahim bin Abu Musa] from [Abu Musa Al Asy'ari] radliallahu 'anhu, that he once gave a fatwa to carry out the Tamattu Hajj', then a man said to him; "Hold on to your fatwa, because you don't know what Amirul Mukminin will update after you regarding the implementation of the Hajj." Abu Musa said; Until one day I met Amirul Mukminin, so I told him. Then [Umar] said; 'I know that Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam and his companions have done it. But I don't like (if) people later take shelter under it, rest under an ark tree (Siwak), then go to perform Hajj and hit their heads hard (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 2979.) 6th Hadith. God willing God willing Allah's blessings may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings فَقَدِمْنَا مَكَّةَ لأَرْبَعِ لَيَالٍ خَلَوْنَ مِنْ ذِي God willing God willing God willing God bless you. وَبَيْنَ عَرَفَةَ إِلاَّ خَمْسٌ فَنَخْرُجُ إِلَيْهَا وَمَذَاكِيرُنَا تَقْطُرُ مَنِيًّا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَلَوْلاَ الْهَدْىُ لأَحْلَلْتُ " . فَقَالَ سُرَاقَةُ God bless you لأَبَدٍ فَقَالَ " لاَ بَلْ لأَبَدِ الأَبَدِ " .. Has told us [Abdurrahman bin Ibrahim Ad Dimasyqi]; has told us [Al Walid bin Muslim]; has told us [Al Auza'i] from ['Atha`] from [Jabir bin Abdullah], he said; "We raised our voices reciting the intention to perform the Hajj alone with Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam without mixing it with the intention of Umrah. And we arrived in Makkah on the fourth night of the month of Dzulhijjah. So when we were making Tawaf in Baitullah, and Sa'i was between Shafa and Marwa, Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam then ordered us to make it an Umrah and immediately gather with our wives. So we said to each other; 'Between us Now there are only five days left from the day of Arafah. Do we have to go there (Arafah) while our genitals are pouring semen (we are in the middle of having hadast)' So Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: 'Indeed, I am the best and most honest person among you, if there were no (al hadyu), I would have been allowed (to do it).' Suraqah bin Malik asked; 'Is our Tamattu Hajj' obligatory only for this year or forever? ' He answered: 'No but forever (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 2980.) 7th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing وَدَنَوْنَا أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ مَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ مَعَهُ هَدْىٌ أَنْ يَحِلَّ فَحَلَّ النَّاسُ كُلُّهُمْ إِلاَّ مَنْ كَانَ مَعَهُ هَدْىٌ فَلَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ النَّحْرَ ذَبَحَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ عَنْ أَزْوَاِ .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah]; has told us [Yazid bin Harun] from [Yahya bin Sa'id] from [Amrah] from [Aisyah] radliallahu 'anha, he said; "We set out with the Messenger of Allah on the remaining five days of the month of Dzulqa'dah and we were not shown except for the Hajj. When the time came and approached, the Messenger of Allah ordered those who did not bring sacrificed animals (al hadyu) to perform Tahalul, so that everyone performed Tahalul. Except for those who brought sacrificed animals. And when the day of 'Ied Adha came, we brought beef, so it was said that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam slaughtered sacrifices for the his wife (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 2981.) 8th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing ـ وَأَصْحَابُهُ فَأَحْرَمْنَا بِالْحَجِّ فَلَمَّا قَدِمْنَا مَكَّةَ قَالَ " اجْعَلُوا حَجَّكُمْ عُمْرَةً " . فَقَالَ النَّاسُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَدْ أَحْرَمْنَا God bless you مَا آمُرُكُمْ بِهِ فَافْعَلُوا " . فَرَدُّوا عَلَيْهِ God willing غَضْبَانَ فَرَأَتْ God bless you وَأَنَا آمُرُ أَمْرًا فَلاَ أُتْبَعُ " .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Ash Shabbah]; has told us [Abu Bakr bin 'Ayyasy] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Al Bara` bin 'Azib], he said; Rasulullah together with his companions met us, so we performed ihram for Hajj. When we arrived in Mecca, he said: "Change your Hajj into 'Umrah." So the friends asked; 'O Messenger of Allah, we have made ihram for Hajj, how can we change it to 'Umrah? ' He said: 'Pay attention to what I command you and do it.' But they rejected his words so that Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam became angry and left and then came to see 'Aisyah in a state of anger, then 'Aishah saw the anger on his face and said; 'Whoever makes you angry has angered Allah.' He said: 'How can I not be angry, when I order an order but it is not followed (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 2982.) 9th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind may Allah bless him and give him peace God bless you فَلْيَحْلِلْ " . قَالَتْ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ مَعِي هَدْىٌ love God bless you عَنِّي . فَقُلْتُ أَتَخْشَى أَنْ أَثِبَ عَلَيْكَ .. Has told us [Bakar bin Khalaf Abu Bisyr]; has told us [Abu 'Ashim]; has preached to us [Ibn Juraij]; has informed me [Mansur bin Abdurrahman] from his mother [Shafiyyah] from [Asma` bint Abu Bakr] he said; "We went (on the Hajj) with the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam in a state of ihram. So the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: 'Whoever brings an animal for slaughter, then he must still wear ihram. And whoever does not bring an animal that is sacrificed, then he should observe tahalul'." Asma said; 'At that time I didn't bring any slaughtered animals, so I made a prayer. And Zubair brought a slaughtered animal so he did not perform Tahalul. Then I put on my clothes and I came to see Zubair, then Zubair said; 'Get away from me! ' I said; 'Are you afraid I'll pounce on you? (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 2983.) 10th Hadith. God willing God bless you God willing God bless you فَسْخَ الْحَجِّ فِي الْعُمْرَةِ لَنَا خَاصَِ عَامَّةً فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " بَلْ لَنَا خَاصَّةً " .. Has told us [Abu Mus'ab]; has told us ['Abdul Aziz bin Muhammad Ad Darawardi] from [Rabi'ah bin Abu 'Abdurrahman] from [Al Harith bin Bilal bin Al Harith] from [His father] said; I asked Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam: "Is replacing the Hajj with Umrah specifically for us or for humans in general?" He shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam answered: 'Even especially for us (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 2984.) 11th Hadith. God bless you God bless you God bless you الْحَجِّ لأَصْحَابْ .. Has told us ['Ali bin Muhammad]; has told us [Abu Mu'awiyah] from [Al A'masy] from [Ibrahim At Taimi] from [His father] from [Abu Dzar] radiallahu 'anhu, he said; "Tamattu Hajj is only for the friends of Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 2985.) 12th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing قَالَ، قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ مَا أَرَى عَلَىَّ جُنَاحًا أَنْ لاَ God willing God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind عَلَيْهْ لَكَانَ فَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ لاَ يَطَّوَّفَ بِهِمَا . God willing God willing يَطَّوَّفُوا بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ فَلَمَّا قَدِمُوا God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَالْمَرْوَةِ .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah]; has told us [Abu Usamah] from [Hisyam bin 'Urwah]; has informed me [my father] he said; "I said to Aisyah; "I think there is no sin for me, (if I do not perform sa'i between Shafa and Marwa". [Aisyah] answered; "Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says: Verily Shafa and Marwa are part of Allah's syiar. So whoever performs the Hajj to the House of Allah or performs Umrah, then there is no sin for him to perform sa'i between the two." If the meaning was as you say, of course the sound of His word (would be); So there is no sin in not performing Sa'i between the two. This verse was revealed to the Ansar people who used to raise their voices, they did it for Manat, so it was not permissible for them to perform Sa'i between Safa and Marwa. And when they arrived with the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam during the Hajj season, they told it to him, then Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala revealed this verse between Safa and Marwa (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 2986.) 13th Hadith. God willing love God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ " لاَ يُقْطَعُ الأَبْطَحُ إِلاَّ شَدًّا " .. It has been told to us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] and [Ali bin Muhammad], both of them said; has told us [Waki']; has told us [Hisyam Ad Dastuwa`i] from [Budail bin Maisarah] from [Shafiyyah bint Syaibah] from [Ummu Waladnya Syaibah], he said; "I saw the Messenger of Allah performing sa'i between Shafa and Marwa, and he said: 'The distance (in sa'i) is not cut except by running (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 2987.) 14th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing God willing فَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَسْعَى God bless you وسلم ـ يَمْشِي وَأَنَا شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ .. Has told us [Ali bin Muhammad] and [Amru bin Abdullah], both of them said; has told us [Waki']; has told us [My father] from ['Atha` bin As Sa`ib] from [Katsir bin Jumhan] from [Ibnu Umar] radiallahu 'anhu, he said; "If I stand between Safa and Marwa, then I see Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam sa'i and if I walk, then I have seen Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam walking, while I am an old person (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 2988.) 15th Hadith. Allah's blessings God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ " الْحَجُّ جِهَادٌ وَالْعُمْرَةُ تَطَوُّعٌ " .. Has told us [Hisyam bin 'Ammar]; has told us [Al Hasan bin Yahya Al Khusyani]; has told us ['Umar bin Qais]; has reported to me [Thalhah bin Yahya] from his Uncle [Ishaq bin Thalhah] from [Thalhah bin 'Ubaidillah] that he heard the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say: 'Hajj is jihad, while 'umrah is tathawwu (not obligatory) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 2989.) 16th Hadith. God bless you God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَطُفْنَا مَعَهُ وَصَلَّى وَصَلَّيْنَا مَعَها God bless you .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Numair]; has told us [Ya'la]; has told us [Isma'il]; I heard from [Abdullah bin Abu 'Aufa] saying; "We were once with Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam when he was performing the Umrah. He was performing Tawaf, we were doing it with him. He was performing the prayer, we were also performing it with him. We protected him from the sight of the people of the city of Makkah, so that no one (of them) could harm him (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 2990.) 17th Hadith. God willing مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing خَنْبَشٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهْ " عُمْرَةٌ فِي رَمَضَانَ تَعْدِلُ حِجَّةً " .. It has been told to us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] and [Ali bin Muhammad], both of them said; has told us [Waki']; has told us [Sufyan] from [Bayan] and [Jabir] from [Ash Sha'bi] from [Wahb bin Khanbasy], he said; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: 'Umrah in the month of Ramadan is equal to (reward) Hajj (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 2991.) 18th Hadith. God bless you God bless you God willing God bless you خَنْبَشٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهْ " عُمْرَةٌ فِي رَمَضَانَ تَعْدِلُ حِجَّةً " .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Ash Shabbah]; has told us [Sufyan]; Likewise it is narrated from another route, and it has been told to us ['Ali bin Muhammad] and ['Amru bin Abdullah], both of them said; has told us [Waki'] everything from [Dawud bin Yazid Az Za'afiri] from [Ash Sya'bi] from [Harim bin Khanbasy]. He said; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: 'Umrah in the month of Ramadan is equal to (reward) Hajj (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 2992.) 19th hadith. Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing الأَسْوَدِ بْنْ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " عُمْرَةٌ فِي رَمَضَانَ تَعْدِلُ حِجَّةً " .. Has told us [Jubarah bin Mughallis]; has told us [Ibrahim bin 'Uthman] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Al Aswad bin Yazid] from [Abu Maqil], from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "Umrah in the month of Ramadhan equals (reward) Hajj (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 2993.) 20th hadith. God bless you مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " عُمْرَةٌ فِي رَمَضَانَ تَعْدِلُ حِجَّةً " .. Has told us [Ali bin Muhammad]; has told us [Abu Mu'awiyah] from [Hajjaj] from ['Atha`] from [Ibn Abbas] radliallahu 'anhu, he said; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: 'Umrah in the month of Ramadhan equals (the reward) of the Hajj (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 2994.) 21st Hadith. God willing أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدّ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing قَالَ " عُمْرَةٌ فِي رَمَضَانَ تَعْدِلُ حِجَّةً " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah]; has told us [Ahmad bin Abdul Malik bin Waqid]; has told us [Ubaidullah bin 'Amru] from [Abdul Karim] from ['Atha`] from [Jabir] radliallahu 'anhu, that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Umrah in the month of Ramadhan is equal to (reward) performing Hajj (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 2995.) 22nd Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. لَيْلَى، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ لَمْ يَعْتَمِرْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ إِلاَّ فِي ذِي الْقَعْدَةِ .. Has told us ['Uthman bin Abu Syaibah]; has told us [Yahya bin Zakaria bin Abu Zaidah] from [Ibn Abu Laila] from ['Atha`] from [Ibn Abbas] radliallahu 'anhu, he said; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam never performed Umrah except in the month of Dzulqa'dah (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 2996.) 23rd Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing الله عليه وسلم ـ عُمْرَةً إِلاَّ فِي ذِي الْقَعْدَةِ .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah]; has told us [Abdullah bin Numair] from [Al A'masy] from [Mujahid] from [Habib] from ['Urwah] from [Aisyah] radiallahu 'anha, he said; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam never performed Umrah except in the month of Dzulqa'dah (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 2997.) 24th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. حَبِيبٍ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ - عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، قَالَ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings on earth مَا اعْتَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فِي رَجَبٍ قَطُّ وَمَا اعْتَمَرَ إِلاَّ وَهُوَ مَعَهُ - تَعْنِى عُمَرَ .. If I had not brought Al Hadyu (sacrificial animal) I would have intended to perform Umrah'." Aisha said; 'So among the companions there were those who intended to perform Umrah, and among them there were those who intended to perform Hajj. I am among those who intend to perform Umrah.' Aisyah said again; 'Then we set off until we reached Mecca. When the day of Arafah arrived, it turned out that I was menstruating, but the time had not yet come for me to finish my Umrah. So I complained about this to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. Then he said: 'Leave your Umrah. Untie your hair and comb it, then intend to perform Hajj. The Narrator said; "When Al Hajjaj killed 'Abdullah bin Zubair, he once sent a person (messenger) to meet Ibn Umar radliallahu 'anhu (to see) when did the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam leave for Arafah today? He said: 'If (the time is known) then we will leave.' So Al Hajjaj sent someone to see when Ibn Umar was rushing to leave. When Ibn Umar was about to leave, Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, asked; 'Has the sun set? ' They answered; 'Not yet'. So he sat down. (A few moments) then he asked again; 'Has the sun set? ' They answered; 'Not yet'. So he sat down again. (A few moments) then he asked again; 'Has the sun set? ' They answered; 'Not yet'. So he sat down again.
