Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ بَقَرَةً وَاحِدَةً ‏.‏. Has told us [Ahmad bin 'Amru bin As Sarh Al Mishri Abu Thahir] has told us [Ibnu Wahb] has told us [Yunus] from [Ibn Shihab] from ['Amrah] from [Asiyah], that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam slaughtered a cow for the family of Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam while performing the hajj wada (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3135.) 2nd hadith. God bless you God bless you قَالَ عَطَاءٌ الْخُرَاسَانِيُّ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ God willing God bless you فَأَشْتَرِيَهَا ‏.‏ فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ أَنْ يَبْتَاعَ سَبْعَ شِيَاهٍ فَيَذْبَحَهُنَّ ‏.‏. Has told us [Muhammad bin Ma'mar] has told us [Muhammad bin Bakr Al Bursani] has told us [Ibnu Juraij] he said; ['Atha Al Khurasani] said from [Ibn Abbas], that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam was approached by a man and said, "I am obliged to slaughter a camel and I can afford it, but I can't get it?" The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam then ordered him to buy seven goats and slaughter them (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3136.) 3rd Hadith. Allah's blessings God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing God willing كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَنَحْنُ God bless you وَغَنَمًا فَعَجِلَ الْقَوْمُ فَأَغْلَيْنَا الْقُدُورَ قَبْلَ God willing فَأَمَرَ بِهَا فَأُكْفِئَتْ ثُمَّ عَدَلَ الْجَزُورَ بِعَشَرَةٍ مِنَ الْغَنَمِ ‏.‏. Has told us [Abu Kuraib] has told us [Al Muharibi] and [Abdurrahim] from [Sufyan At Tsauri] from [Sa'id bin Masruq] and has told us [Al Husain bin Ali] from [Zaidah] from [Sa'id bin Masruq] from ['Abayah bin Rifa'ah] from [Rafi' bin Khadij] he said, "When we were with the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam in Dzul Khulaifah -part of the Tihamah area-, we caught a camel and a goat, so the people immediately slaughtered them and lit a fire pit (for cooking) before distributing them. Then Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam came to us and ordered them to be spilled, so the pot was poured out. no. 3137.) 4th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ أَعْطَاهُ غَنَمًا فَقَسَمَهَا عَلَى God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings ‏"‏ ‏.‏. It has been told to us that [Muhammad bin Rumh] has told us [Al Laits bin Sa'd] from [Yazid bin Abu Habib] from [Abu Al Khair] from ['Uqbah bin 'Amir Al Juhani], that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam gave him several goats, then he distributed them among his companions until there was nothing left but only one young goat. Then this was reported to the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, so he said: "Sacrifice you with that goat (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3138.) 5th Hadith. God willing God willing مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي يَحْيَى، - مَوْلَى الأَسْلَمِيِّينَ - عَنْ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing قَالَ ‏ "‏ يَجُوزُ الْجَذَعُ مِنَ الضَّأْنِ أُضْحِيَّةً ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Abdurrahman bin Ibrahim Ad Dimasyqi] has told us [Anas bin 'Iyadl] has told me [Muhammad bin Abu Yahya] a former slave of Al Aslamiyyiin, from [his mother] he said, has told me [Ummu Bilal bint Hilal] from [his father], that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Al Jad'u (goat aged six months to one year) from a goat may be used for sacrifice (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3139.) 6th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدَ God willing كُلَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ رَجُلٍ مِنْ God willing prayer مُنَادِيًا فَنَادَى أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ كَانَ يَقُولُ ‏ "‏ إِنَّ الْجَذَعَ يُوفِي مِمَّا تُوفِي مِنْهُ الثَّنِيَّةُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Muhammad bin Yahya] has told us [Abdurrazaq] has reported to us [Ats Tsauri] from ['Ashim bin Kulaib] from [his father] he said, "We together with one of the companions of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam known as [Mujasyi'] from Bani Sulaim, when goats were very difficult to obtain then he ordered someone to exclaim, "Indeed the Messenger of Allah shallallahu 'alaihi Wasallam said: "Indeed al Jadza' can replace a two year old goat (Degree: authentic. Has told us [Harun bin Hayyan] has told us [Abdurrahman bin Abdullah] has told us [Zuhair] from [Abu Az Zubair] from [Jabir] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Do not slaughter except Musinnah (goat that is two years old), unless you have difficulty getting it, then slaughter the goat jadza'ah (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3141.) 8th Hadith. Has told us [Muhammad bin As Shabah] has told us [Abu Bakr bin 'Ayyasy] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Syuraih bin An Nu'man] from [Ali] he said, "Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade slaughtering sacrificial animals with the tips of their ears cut off, the base of their ears cut off, their ears split open, kharqa` (whose ears are burned as a sign) or Jad'a` (eared animals or his nose is cut off) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3142.) 9th Hadith. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Waki'] has told us [Sufyan bin 'Uyainah] from [Salamah bin Kuhail] from [Hujjayah bin 'Adi] from [Ali] he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam ordered us to examine the eyes and ears (of the sacrificial animal) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3143.) 10th Hadith. God bless you God bless you وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ وَابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ وَأَبُو الْوَلِيدِ God bless you God willing قُلْتُ لِلْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ حَدِّثْنِي بِمَا، كَرِهَ أَوْ God willing God bless you وسلم ـ هَكَذَا بِيَدِهِ وَيَدِي أَقْصَرُ مِنْ يَدِهِ ‏ "‏ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. وَالْعَرْجَاءُ الْبَيِّنُ ظَلْعُهَا وَالْكَسِيرَةُ الَّتِي لاَ تُنْقِي ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ فَإِنِّي أَكْرَهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ نَقْصٌ فِي الأُذُنِ ‏.‏ قَالَ فَمَا كَرِهْتَ مِنْهُ فَدَعْهُ وَلاَ تُحَرِّمْهُ عَلَى أَحَدٍ ‏.‏. Has told us [Muhammad bin Bashyar] has told us [Yahya bin Sa'id] and [Muhammad bin Ja'far] and [Abdurrahman] and [Abu Daud] and [Ibn Abu 'Adi] and [Abu Al Walid] they said; has told us [Syu'bah] I heard [Sulaiman bin Abdurrahman] say; I heard ['Ubaid bin Fairuz] say, "I said to [Al Barra` bin 'Azib], "Read to me the hadith about what the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam hated or prohibited from sacrificial animals! " Al Barra` answered, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said something like this - while demonstrating with his hand, and my hand was shorter than his hand - he said: "Four types cannot be used as sacrificial animals: animals whose eyes are blind in one eye and the blindness is clearly visible, animals which are clearly sick, those which are clearly lame and whose marrow is broken." Al Barra` said, "I really hate animals with deformed ears." He said, "What you hate leave it behind and do not forbid it to anyone (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3144.) 11th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings عليه وسلم ـ نَهَى أَنْ يُضَحَِ وَالأُذُنِ ‏.‏. Has told us [Humaid bin Mas'adah] has told us [Khalid bin Al Harith] has told us [Sa'id] from [Qatadah] he mentioned that he once heard [Jurayya bin Kulaib] tell that he heard [Ali] tell, that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade sacrificing with animals whose horns and ears were cut off (deformed) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3145.) 12th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدَ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you God willing God bless you فَأَصَابَ الذِّئْبُ مِنْ أَلْيَتِهِ أَوْ أُذُنِهِ فَسَأَلْنَا God willing بِهِ ‏.‏. It has been told to us that [Muhammad bin Yahya] and [Muhammad bin Abdul Malik Abu Bakr] both said; has told us [Abdurrazaq] from [Ats Tsauri] from [Jabir bin Yazid] from [Muhammad bin Qarazhah Al Ansari] from [Abu Sa'id Al Khudri] he said, "We bought a goat for sacrifice, then a wolf ate the goat's tail or ears, so we asked the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he ordered us to slaughter it (sacrifice with it) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3146.) 13th Hadith. God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you كَيْفَ كَانَتِ الضَّحَايَا فِيكُمْ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing وَعَنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ فَيَأْكُلُونَ وَيُطْعِمُونَ ثُمَّ تَبَاهَى النَّاسُ فَصَارَ كَمَا تَرَى ‏.‏. Has told us [Abdurrahman bin Ibrahim] has told us [Ibn Abu Fudaik] has told me [Adl Dlahak bin Uthman] from ['Umarah bin Abdullah bin Shayyad] from ['Atha bin Yasar] he said, "I asked [Abu Ayyub Al Ansari], "What about your sacrificial animals during the time of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam?" he answered, "At the time of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, someone sacrificed a goat for himself and his family, then they ate (some of it) and fed it to others so that the people were happy because of it. And this continues as you see today (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3147.) 14th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing love God willing God willing God willing God willing وَالشَّاتَيْنِ وَالآنَ يُبَخِّلُنَا جِيرَانُنَا ‏.‏. Has told us [Ishaq bin Mansur] has told us [Abdurrahman bin Mahdi] and [Muhammad bin Yusuf]. (in another way mentioned) Has told us [Muhammad bin Yahya] has told us [Abdurrazaq] everything from [Sufyan Ats Tsauri] from [Bayan] from [As Sya'bi] from [Abu Sarihah] he said, "My family made me angry after I found out about the sunnah that the ahlul bait sacrifice with one or two goats, and now our neighbors think that we are sluts (Derajat: sahih. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3148.) 15th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind مِنْ شَعَرِهِ وَلاَ بَشَرِهِ شَيْئًا ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Harun bin Abdullah Al Hammal] has told us [Sufyan bin 'Uyainah] from [Abdurrahman bin Humaid bin Abdurrahman bin 'Auf] from [Sa'id bin Al Musayyab] from [Ummu Salamah], that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "If the tenth day (Dzul Hijjah) has come, and one of you wants to sacrifice, then let him not touch his hair and skin (sacrificial animal to be slaughtered) even a little (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3149.) 16th Hadith. God willing Allah's blessings وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ God willing كَثِيرٍ، قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing God bless you God willing شَعَرًا وَلاَ ظُفْرًا ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Hatim bin Bakr Ad Dlabbi Abu 'Amru] has told us [Muhammad bin Bakr Al Bursani]. (in another way it is stated) Has told us [Muhammad bin Sa'id bin Yazid bin Ibrahim] has told us [Abu Qutaibah] and [Yahya bin Kathir] they said; has narrated to us [Syu'bah] from [Malik bin Anas] from ['Amru bin Muslim] from [Sa'id bin Musayyab] from [Ummu Salamah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Whoever one of you sees the new moon in the month of Dhul Hijjah and he wants to sacrifice, then he should not approach its hair and nails (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3150.) 17th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God bless you God willing يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ قَبْلَ الصَّلاَةِ فَأَمَرَهُ النَِ الله عليه وسلم ـ أَنْ يُعِيدَ ‏.‏. It has been told to us [Uthman bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Isma'il bin 'Ulayyah] from [Ayyub] from [Muhammad bin Sirin] from [Anas bin Malik], that on the feast of sacrifice a man slaughtered his sacrificial animal before praying, then the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam ordered him to repeat the sacrifice (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3151.) 18th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَذَبَحَ أُنَاسٌ قَبْلَ الصَّلاَةِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏ "‏ مَنْ كَانَ ذَبَحَ مِنْكُمْ قَبْلَ الصَّلاَةِ فَلْيُعِدْ God willing ‏.‏. Has told us [Hisyam bin 'Ammar] has told us [Sufyan bin Uyainah] from [Al Aswad bin Qais] from [Jundub Al Bajjali] that he heard him say, "I witnessed the slaughter of sacrifices with the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, and people slaughtered before praying. So the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Whoever of you slaughtering before praying he should repeat his sacrifice, and whoever has not slaughtered should slaughter in the name of Allah (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3152.) 19th hadith. Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you فَقَالَ ‏ "‏ أَعِدْ أُضْحِيَّتَكَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. It has been told to us [Abu Bakar bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Abu Khalid Al Ahmar] from [Yahya bin Sa'id] from ['Abbad bin Tamim] from ['Uwaimir bin Asyqar], that he slaughtered his sacrifice before the (Eid) prayer, then this was told to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam until he said: "Repeat your sacrifice (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3153.) 20th hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. love غَيْرُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ بُجْدَانَ، عَنْ God willing مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، Allah's blessings God willing God bless you وسلم ـ بِدَارٍ مِنْ دُورِ الأَنْصَارِ فَوَجَدَ رِيحَ قُتَارٍ فَقَالَ ‏"‏ مَنْ هَذَا الَّذِي ذَبَحَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَخَرَجَ God willing Allah's blessings ‏.‏ فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يُعِيدَ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ لاَ وَاللَّهَ اِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ مَا عِنْدِي إِلاَّ جَذَعٌ أَوْ حَمَلٌ مِنَ الضَّأْنِ ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏"‏ اذْبَحْهَا وَلَنْ تُجْزِئَ جَذَعَةٌ عَنْ أَحَدٍ بَعْدَكَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Abdul A'la] from [Khalid Al Khadza`] from [Abu Qilabah] from [Abu Zaid], [Abu Bakar] said -besides Abdul A'la also said- from ['Amru bin Bujdan] from [Abu Zaid]. (in another way it is mentioned) Has told us [Muhammad bin Al Mutsanna Abu Musa] has told us [Abdush Shamad bin Abdul Warits] has told us [My father] from [Khalid Al Khaddza`] from [Abu Qilabah] from ['Amru bin Bujdan] from [Abu Zaid Al Ansari] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam passed by the houses of the Ansar residents, then he smelled the cooking, he asked: "Who is the person who has slaughtered?" then an Ansar man came out and said, "I, O Messenger of Allah, I slaughtered before praying because I wanted to feed my family and neighbors." "Slaughter him, and no one will slaughter Jadza' after you (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3154.) 21st Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. وَاضِعًا قَدَمَهُ عَلَى صِفَاحِهَا ‏.‏. Has told us [Muhammad bin Basysyar] has told us [Muhammad bin Ja'far] has told us [Syu'bah] I heard [Qatadah] tell from [Anas bin Malik] he said, "Truly I have seen Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam slaughtering his sacrificial animal with his own hands while placing his foot on the neck of the sacrificial animal (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3155.) 22nd Hadith. God bless you الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنّ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing ـ ذَبَحَ أُضْحِيَّتَهُ عِنْدَ طَرَفِ الزُّقَاقِ طَرِيقِ بَنِي زُرَيْقٍ بِيَدِهِ بِشَفْرَةٍ ‏.‏. Has told us [Hisyam bin 'Ammar] has told us [Abdurrahman bin Sa'd bin 'Ammar bin Sa'd] the muezzin Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, has told us [my father] from [his father] from [his grandfather], that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam slaughtered the sacrificial animal beside the end of the Bani Zuraiq street, with his own hands using a machete (Degree: authentic. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind بُدْنَهُ كُلَّهَا لُحُومَهَا وَجُلُودَهَا وَجِم لِلْمَسَاكِينِ ‏.‏. Has told us [Muhammad bin Ma'mar] has told us [Muhammad bin Bakr Al Bursani] has told us [Ibnu Juraij] has told me [Al Hasan bin Muslim] that [Mujahid] told him, that [Abdurrahman bin Abu Laila] has told him, that [Ali bin Abu Talib] told him, that Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam ordered that he distributed all of the camels (sacrifices) in the form of meat, skin and saddles to the poor (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3157.) 24th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing قِدْرٍ فَأَكَلُوا مِنَ اللَّحْمِ وَحَسَوْا مِنَ الْمَرَقِ ‏.‏. It has been told to us [Hisyam bin 'Ammar] has told us [Sufyan bin 'Uyainah] from [Ja'far bin Muhammad] from [his father] from [Jabir bin Abdullah], that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) ordered that a piece of its meat be taken from every large camel, then a piece of the meat was placed in a pot, after which they ate the meat and sipped the sauce (after it was cooked) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3158.) 25th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings لِجَهْدِ النَّاسِ ثُمَّ رَخَّصَ فِيهَا ‏.‏. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Waki'] from [Sufyan] from [Abdurrahman bin 'Abis] from [His father] from [Aisyah] he said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade keeping sacrificial meat when people were experiencing hardship in life, then he gave relief (to keep it) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3159.) 26th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ "" God bless you أَيَّامٍ فَكُلُوا وَادَّخِرُوا ‏"‏ ‏.‏. It has been told to us [Abu Bakar bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Abdul A'la bin Abdul A'la] from [Khalid Al Khaddza`] from [Abu Al Malih] from [Nubaisyah], that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "I once forbade you to keep sacrificial meat for more than three days, now eat it and keep it (Degree: authentic.
