Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God willing God willing God willing God bless you God willing جَهَنَّمَ " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Ghundar] from [Syu'bah] from [Sa'd bin Ibrahim] from [Nafi'] from [his wife Ibn Umar] from [Aisha] from the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "Whoever drinks from a vessel made of silver, is like someone who boils the fire of Hell Jahannam into his stomach (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3415.) 2nd hadith. حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرَ مَهْدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَزْرَةُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ الأَنْصَارِيُّ، God willing يَتَنَفَّسُ فِي الإِنَاءِ ثَلاَثًا وَزَعَمَ أَنَسٌ أَنَّ God bless you الإِنَاءِ ثَلاَثًا .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Ibnu Mahdi] has told us ['Azrah bin Thabit Al Ansari] from [Tsumamah bin Abdullah] from [Anas], that he breathed into the vessel (drinking water) three times, and Anas admitted that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam also breathed three times into the vessel (when drinking) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3416.) 3rd Hadith. God bless you God bless you God bless you God willing فَتَنَفَّسَ فِيهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ .. It has been told to us that [Hisyam bin 'Ammar] and [Muhammad bin Ash Shabah] both said; has told us [Marwan bin Mu'awiyah] has told us [Risydin bin Kuraib] from [his father] from [Ibn Abbas], that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam drank and breathed in it (the vessel) twice (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3417.) 4th Hadith. God bless you God bless you اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind ـ عَنِ اخْتِنَاثِ الأَسْقِيَةِ أَنْ يُشْرَبَ مِنْ أَفْوَاهِهَا .. Has told us [Ahmad bin 'Amru bin As Sarh] has told us [Ibnu Wahb] from [Yunus] from [Ibn Shihab] from ['Ubaidullah bin Abdullah bin 'Utbah] from [Abu Sa'id Al Khudri] he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade drinking water directly from the mouth of the vessel (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3418.) 5th Hadith. God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind وَهْرَامَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ نَهَى may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings سِقَاءٍ فَاخْتَنَثَهُ فَخَرَجَتْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْهُ حَيَّةٌ .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Basysyar] has told us [Abu 'Amir] has told us [Zam'ah bin Salih] from [Salamah bin Wahram] from [Ikrimah] from [Ibn Abbas] he said, "Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade drinking directly from the mouth of the vessel. After Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade that act, there was a man who woke up at night and drank directly from the mouth of the vessel, suddenly a snake came out of the mouth of the vessel towards him (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3419.) 6th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God bless you وسلم ـ عَنِ الشُّرْبِ مِنْ فِي السِّقَاءِ .. Has told us [Bisyr bin Hilal Ash Shawaf] has told us [Abdul Waris bin Sa'id] from [Ayyub] from [Ikrimah] from [Abu Hurairah] he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade drinking directly from the mouth of a vessel (kettle) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3420.) 7th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ، عَنْ God willing الله عليه وسلم ـ نَهَى أَنْ يُشْرَبَ مِنْ فَمِ السِّقَاءِ .. Has told us [Bakr bin Khalaf Abu Bisyr] has told us [Yazid bin Zurai'] has told us [Khalid Al Haddza`] from [Ikrimah] from [Ibn Abbas], that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade drinking directly from the mouth of a vessel (kettle) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3421.) 8th Hadith. God willing مُسْهِرٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ God willing زَمْزَمَ فَشَرِبَ قَائِمًا . فَحَلَفَ بِاللَّهِ مَا فَعَلَ .. Has told us [Suwaid bin Sa'id] has told us [Ali bin Mushir] from ['Ashim] from [Ash Sya'bi] from [Ibn Abbas] he said, "I poured Zamzam water on the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he then drank it while standing, then I told this to Ikrimah, then he swore in the name of Allah on what the Messenger of Allah did (Degree: sahih. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3422.) 9th Hadith. God bless you God bless you God willing يُقَالُ لَهَا كَبْشَةُ الأَنْصَارِيَّةُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا وَعِنْدَهَا قِرْبَةٌ مُعَلَّقَةٌ فَشَرِبَ مِنْهَا وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ فَقَطَعَتْ فَمَ God willing صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ .. It has been told to us that [Muhammad bin Ash Shabah] has told us [Sufyan bin 'Uyainah] from [Yazid bin Yazid bin Jabir] from [Abdurrahman bin Abu 'Amrah] from his grandmother named [Kabsyah Al Anshariyah], that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam once came in to see him, then he drank standing up from a vessel hanging by his side. Kabsyah then cut the mouth of the vessel in order to hope for blessings from the former mouth of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3423.) 10th Hadith. Allah's blessings God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind الشُّرْبِ قَائِمًا .. Has told us [Humaid bin Mas'udah] has told us [Bisyr bin Al Mufadlal] has told us [Sa'id] from [Qatadah] from [Anas bin Malik], that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade drinking while standing (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3424.) 11th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing God willing " الأَيْمَنُ فَالأَيْمَنُ " .. Has told us [Hisyam bin 'Ammar] has told us [Malik bin Anas] from [Az Zuhri] from [Anas bin Malik], that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam was once served milk mixed with water, on his right side there was a Bedouin Arab and on his left Abu Bakr. Then he drank the milk and gave (the rest) to the Bedouin Arab while saying: "From the right side onwards (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3425.) 12th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدْ وسلم ـ لاِبْنِ عَبَّاسٍ " أَتَأْذَنُ لِي أَنْ أَسْقِيَ خَالِدًا " ." God willing God bless you. .. Has told us [Hisyam bin 'Ammar] has told us [Isma'il bin 'Ayyasy] has told us [Ibn Juraij] from [Ibn Shihab] from ['Ubaidullah bin Abdullah] from [Ibn Abbas] he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam was given milk, while on his right side was Ibn Abbas and on his left side Khalid bin Walid, Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam then said to Ibn Abbas: "Will you allow me to give this drink to Khalid?" 13th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أَبِي ذُبَابٍ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ، God willing God willing Allah's blessings ثُمَّ لْيَعُدْ إِنْ كَانَ يُرِيدُ " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Daud bin Abdullah] from [Abdul Aziz bin Muhammad] from [Al Harith bin Abu Dzubab] from [his uncle] from [Abu Hurairah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "When one of you drinks, let him not breathe in the vessel. If he wants to repeat it, then he should put the vessel away for a while and then drink from it if he wants (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3427.) 14th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ God bless you صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ عَنِ التَّنَفُّسِ فِي الإِنَاءِ .. Has told us [Bakr bin Khalaf Abu Bisyr] has told us [Yazid bin Zurai'] from [Khalid Al Hadzdza`] from ['Ikrimah] from [Ibn Abbas] he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade breathing in a vessel (when drinking) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3428.) 15th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ or God bless you صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ أَنْ يُنْفَخَ فِي الإِنَاءِ .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Khallad Al Bahili] has told us [Sufyan] from [Abdul Karim] from ['Ikrimah] from [Ibn Abbas] he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade blowing in a vessel (when drinking) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3429.) 16th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing يَكُنْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَنْفُزُ الشَّرَابِ .. Has told us [Abu Kuraib] has told us [Abdurrahim bin Abdurrahman Al Muharibi] from [Sharik] from [Abdul Karim] from ['Ikrimah] from [Ibn Abbas] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam never blew in a vessel (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3430.) 17th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing God willing زَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ God willing God willing أَنْ نَغْتَرِفَ بِالْيَدِ الْوَاحِدَةِ وَقَالَ " لاَ يَلَغْ God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God حَتَّى يُحَرِّكَهُ إِلاَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ إِنَاءً مُخَمَّرًا وَمَنْ شَرِبَ بِيَدِهِ وَهُوَ يَقْدِرُ عَلَى إِنَاءٍ يُرِيدُ God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing الدُّنْيَا " .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Al Mushaffa Al Himshi] has told us [Baqiyah] from [Muslim bin Abdullah] from [Ziyad bin Abdullah] from ['Ashim bin Muhammad bin Zaid bin Abdullah bin Umar] from [his father] from [his grandfather] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade us to drink directly with our mouths in vessels and forbade taking water with our hands. He said: "Do not one of you lick as a dog licks and do not drink with one hand as a people whom Allah is angry with. Do not drink from a vessel at night so that he shakes it first, unless the vessel is closed. Whoever drinks with his hands even though he is able to drink from a vessel out of a sense of tawadlu', then Allah will write every number of his fingers with goodness, and that is the vessel of Isa ibn Maryam 'Alaihimassalaam, when he threw the glass and said, 'Ah, this is the world (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3431.) 18th Hadith. God bless you يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing حَائِطِهْ " إِنْ كَانَ عِنْدَكَ مَاءٌ بَاتَ فِي شَنٍّ فَاسْقِنَا وَإِلاَّ كَرَعْنَا " . قَالَ عِنْدِي مَاءٌ بَاتَ فِي شَنٍّ . فَانْطَلَقَ وَانْطَلَقْنَا مَعَهُ إِلَى الْعَرِيشِ فَحَلَبَ لَهُ شَاةً عَلَى مَاءٍ بَاتَ فِي شَنٍّ فَشَرِبَ ثُمَّ فَعَلَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ بِصَاحِبِهِ الَّذِي مَعَهُ .. Has told us [Ahmad bin Manshur Abu Bakr] has told us [Yunus bin Muhammad] has told us [Fulaih bin Sulaiman] from [Sa'id bin Al Harith] from [Jabir bin Abdullah] he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam came to an Ansar man who was fixing the water flow in his garden. Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam then said to him: "If you have water in the container then give us a drink, if you don't have it then let us drink it directly from the water stream that is there." The man answered, "I have water that is in the container." Ibnu Majah no. 3432.) 19th hadith. God willing ابْنِ عَامِرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ God willing فِيهَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " لاَ تَكْرَعُوا وَلَكِنْ فِيهَا فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ إِنَاءٌ أَطْيَبَ مِنَ الْيَدِ " .. Has told us [Washil bin Abdul A'la] has told us [Ibnu Fudlail] from [Laits] from [Sa'id bin 'Amir] from [Ibn Umar] he said, "When we passed a pool, we immediately drank with our mouths into the pool. Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam then said: "Do not drink directly with your mouth (into the pool), but wash your hands and then drink with your hands. Indeed, there is no vessel better than the hand (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3433.) 20th hadith. God bless you قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ God willing قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " سَاقِي الْقَوْمِ آخِرُهُمْ شُرْبًا " .. It has been told to us that [Ahmad bin 'Abdah] and [Suwaid bin Sa'id] both said; has told us [Hammad bin Zaid] from [Thabit Al Bunani] from [Abdullah bin Rabah] from [Abu Qatadah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "The person who gives drink to a people, he is the last person to drink from them (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3434.) 21st Hadith. God willing God willing God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing فِيهِ .. Has told us [Ahmad bin Sinan] has told us [Zaid bin Al Hubbab] has told us [Mandal bin Ali] from [Muhammad bin Ishaq] from [Az Zuhri] from ['Ubaidullah bin Abdullah] from [Ibn Abbas] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam had a glass cup used for drinking (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3435.) 22nd Hadith. God willing God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وسلم ـ أَعَلَيْنَا حَرَجٌ فِي كَذَا أَعَلَيْنَا حَرَجٌ فِي كَذَا فَقَالَ لَهُمْ " عِبَادَ اللَّهِ وَضَعَ اللَّهُ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. فَذَاكَ الَّذِي حَرَجٌ " . فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَلْ عَلَيْنَا جُنَاحٌ أَنْ نَتَدَاوَى قَالَ " تَدَاوَوْا عِبَادَ اللَّهْ إِلاَّ وَضَعَ مَعَهُ شِفَاءً إِلاَّ الْهَرَمَ " ." يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا خَيْرُ مَا أُعْطِيَ الْعَبْدُ قَالَ " خُلُقٌ حَسَنٌ " .. It has been told to us that [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] and [Hisyam bin 'Ammar] both said; has told us [Sufyan bin 'Uyainah] from [Ziyad bin 'Ilaqah] from [Usamah bin Syarik] he said, "I witnessed some Bedouin Arabs asking the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, "Are we sinful if we do this? Are we guilty if we do this?" He then said to them: "O servants of Allah, Allah will erase sins except those who spread (disgrace) to their brothers, that is a sin." They asked again, "O Messenger of Allah, are we guilty if we do not seek treatment?" He replied: "O servants of Allah, seek treatment, for indeed Allah Subhaanahu has not sent down a disease unless He also sends down a cure, except for dementia." They asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what is the best good to give to a servant?" he replied: "Noble morals (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3436.) 23rd Hadith. God willing ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ أَرَأَيْتَ أَدْوِيَةً نَتَدَاوَى بِهَا message مِنْ قَدَرِ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا قَالَ " هِيَ مِنْ قَدَرِ اللَّهِ " .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Ash Shabah] has told us [Sufyan bin 'Uyainah] from [Az Zuhri] from [Ibn Abu Khizamah] from [Abu Khizamah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam was asked, "What do you think about the medicines we use for treatment, the ruqyah we practice and the piety we observe, whether he can refuse from the provisions Allah?" He replied: "It all includes Allah's destiny (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3437.) 24th Hadith. God bless you الرَّحْمَنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing " مَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ دَاءً إِلاَّ أَنْزَلَ لَهُ دَوَاءً " .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Basysyar] has told us [Abdurrahman bin Mahdi] has told us [Sufyan] from ['Atha bin As Sa`ib] from [Abu Abdurrahman] from [Abdullah] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "Allah will not send down disease unless Allah will also send down for him medicine (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3438.) 25th Hadith. God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings إِلاَّ أَنْزَلَ لَهُ شِفَاءً " .. It has been told to us that [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] and [Ibrahim bin Sa'id Aljauhari] both said; has told us [Abu Ahmad] from [Umar bin Sa'id bin Abu Husain] has told us ['Atha] from [Abu Hurairah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Allah does not send down a disease unless it sends down medicine for it (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3439.) 26th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing عليه وسلم ـ عَادَ رَجُلاً فَقَالَ لَهُ "" . فَقَالَ أَشْتَهِي خُبْزَ بُرٍّ . فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ـ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing فَلْيَبْعَثْ إِلَى أَخِيهِ " . ثُمَّ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ـ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings شَيْئًا فَلْيُطْعِمْهُ " .. Has told us [Al Hasan bin Ali Al Khallal] has told us [Shafwan bin Hubairah] has told us [Abu Makin] from ['Ikrimah] from [Ibn Abbas], that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam visited a man, he then said to him: "What do you want?" the man answered, "I want wheat bread." So the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Whoever has wheat bread, he should give it to his brother." Then the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "If one of you is sick and wants something, he should give him what he wants to eat (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3440.) 27th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing عليه وسلم ـ عَلَى مَرِيضٍ يَعُودُهُ قَالَ " شَيْئًا أَتَشْتَهِي كَعْكًا " . قَالَ نَعَمْ . فَطَلَبُوا لَهُ .. Has told us [Sufyan bin Waki'] has told us [Abu Yahya Al Himmani] from [Al A'masy] from [Yazid Ar Raqasyi] from [Anas bin Malik] he said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam visited someone who was sick, he said: "Do you want something?" the person answered, "I want a cake." He said: "Okay." Then the people looked for cake for him (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3441.) 28th Hadith. God willing يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing Allah's blessings may Allah bless him and give him peace God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you God willing فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " مَهْ يَا عَلِيُّ إِنَّكَ نَاقِهٌ " . قَالَتْ فَصَنَعْتُ لِلنَّبِيِّ ـ صلى may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing أَنْفَعُ لَكَ " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Yunus bin Muhammad] has told us [Fulaih bin Sulaiman] from [Ayyub bin Abdurrahman bin Abdullah bin Abu Sha'sha'ah]. (in another way it is stated) Has told us [Muhammad bin Basysyar] has told us [Abu 'Amir] and [Abu Daud] both said; has told us [Fulaih bin Sulaiman] from [Ayyub bin Abdurrahman] from [Ya'qub bin Abu Ya'qub] from [Ummu Al Mundzir bint Qais Al Anshariyah] he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam once visited us with Ali bin Abu Talib, at that time Ali had just recovered from his illness. And we have the results of picking dates that were still hanging, Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam ate some fruit from it. Then Ali also took it and ate it, then the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Not, O Ali, because you have just recovered." for you (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3442.) 29th Hadith.
