Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " إِذَا God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِالْيُسْرَى " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr] has told us [Waki'] from [Syu'bah] from [Muhammad bin Ziyad] from [Abu Hurairah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "When one of you puts on sandals, he should start with the right one, and when taking them off he should start with the left (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3616.) 2nd hadith. God willing God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind وَاحِدٍ وَلاَ خُفٍّ وَاحِدٍ لِيَخْلَعْهُمَا جَمِيعًا أَوْ لِيَمْشِ فِيهِمَا جَمِيعًا " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr] has told us [Abdullah bin Idris] from [Ibnu Ajlan] from [Sa'id bin Abu Sa'id] from [Abu Hurairah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "None of you should walk wearing one sandal or one khuf (shoe), he should take both off or wear them all (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3617.) 3rd Hadith. God bless you God bless you هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ أَنْ يَنْتَعِلَ الرَّجُلُ قَائِمًا .. Has told us [Ali bin Muhammad] has told us [Abu Mu'awiyah] from [Al A'masy] from [Abu Salih] from [Abu Hurairah] he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade someone to wear sandals while standing (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3618.) 4th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing يَنْتَعِلَ الرَّجُلُ قَائِمًا .. Has told us [Ali bin Muhammad] has told us [Waki'] from [Sufyan] from [Abdullah bin Dinar] from [Ibn Umar] he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade someone to wear sandals while standing (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3619.) 5th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. اللَّهِ الْكِنْدِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. وسلم ـ خُفَّيْنِ سَاذَجَيْنِ أَسْوَدَيْنِ فَلَبِسَهُمَا .. Has told us [Abu Bakar] has told us [Waki'] has told us [Dalham bin Salih Al Kindi] from [Hujair bin Abdullah Al Kindi] from [Ibnu Buraidah] from [his father], that An Najasyi gave a gift to Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam two plain black khuf (shoes), then he wore them (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3620.) 6th Hadith. God willing God willing وَسُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ، يُخْبِرَانِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " إِنَّ الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى لاَ يَصْبُغُونَ فَخَالِفُوهُمْ " .. It has been told to us [Abu Bakr] has told us [Sufyan bin 'Uyainah] from [Az Zuhri] he heard [Abu Salamah] and [Sulaiman bin Yasar], both of them reported to him from [Abu Hurairah] and up to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "The Jews and the Christians do not dye their hair, therefore they are different (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3621.) 7th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing ذَرٍّ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " God willing وَالْكَتَمُ " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr] has told us [Abdullah bin Idris] from [Al Ajlah] from [Abdullah bin Buraidah] from [Abu Al Aswad Ad Dailami] from [Abu Dzar] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Indeed, the best that you use to change gray hair is henna (inai) and katam (a type of plant) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3622.) 8th Hadith. Allah's blessings God bless you مَوْهَبٍ، قَالَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ . قَالَ God willing الله عليه وسلم ـ مَخْضُوبًا بِالْحِنَّاءِ وَالْكَتَمِ .. Has told us [Abu Bakr] has told us [Yunus bin Muhammad] has told us [Sallam bin Abu Muthi'] from [Uthman bin Mauhab] he said, "I met Umm Salamah." Uthman continued, "Then [Um Salamah] took out a strand of hair from the hair of Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam which had been polished with henna and katam (a kind of plant) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3623.) 9th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَكَأَنَّ رَأْسَهُ ثَغَامَةٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى God willing فَلْتُغَيِّرْهُ وَجَنِّبُوهُ السَّوَادَ " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Isma'il bin 'Ulayyah] from [Laits] from [Abu Az Zubair] from [Jabir] he said, "When the conquest of the city of Makkah Abu Quhafah came to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam and it was as if his hair was like a tsaghamah tree (a type of tree whose fruit and flowers are white). Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam then said: "Take him to one of his wives so that she dyes her hair, and avoid black (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3624.) 10th Hadith. God willing God bless you God willing God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing فِيكُمْ وَأَهْيَبُ لَكُمْ فِي صُدُورِ عَدُوِّكُمْ " .. Has told us [Abu Hurairah Ash Shairafi Muhammad bin Firas] has told us [Umar bin Al Khaththab bin Zakaria Ar Rasibi] has told us [Daffa' bin Daghfal As Sadusi] from [Abdul Hamid bin Shaifi] from [his father] from his grandfather [Shuihaib Al Khair] he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Indeed, something The best color for you to use to dye your hair is black, because it is preferred by your wives, and you can scare your enemies (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3625.) 11th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing عُمَرَ قَالَ رَأَيْتُكَ تُصَفِّرُ لِحْسَتَكَ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ أَمَّا تَصْفِيرِي لِحْيَتِي فَإِنِّي God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing لِحْيَتَهُ .. It has been told to us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Abu Usamah] from ['Ubaidullah bin Umar] from [Sa'id bin Abu Sa'id] that [Ubaid bin Abu Sa'id] asked [Ibn Umar] he said, "I saw you dye your beard yellow with Al Wars (a type of plant)." Then Ibn Umar said, "I dyed my beard yellow, because I saw the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam dye his beard yellow (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3626.) 12th Hadith. God bless you God bless you God willing مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ عَلَي بِالْحِنَّاءِ فَقَالَ " مَا أَحْسَنَ هَذَا " . ثُمَّ مَرَّ بِآخَرَ قَدْ خَضَبَ بِالْحِنَّاءِ وَالْكَتَمِ فَقَالَ " هَذَا أَحْسَنُ مِنْ هَذَا " . ثُمَّ مَرَّ بِآخَرَ قَدْ خَضَبَ بِالصُّفْرَةَ كُلِّهِ " . قَالَ وَكَانَ طَاوُسٌ يُصَفِّرُ .. Has told us [Abu Bakr] has told us [Ishaq bin Manshur] has told us [Muhammad bin Talhah] from [Humaid bin Wahb] from [Ibn Thawus] from [Thawus] from [Ibn Abbas] he said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam passed by a man who had dyed his hair with henna, so he said: "How good is this." Then he passed another person who had dyed it with henna and katam (a type of henna tree), then he said: "This is better than this." Then he passed another person who had dyed with shufrah (a type of plant that smells good and is yellow), so he said: "This is better than all of them." 3627.) 13th Hadith. God bless you Allah's blessings God willing ـ هَذِهِ مِنْهُ بَيْضَاءُ . يَعْنِي عَنْفَقَتَهُ .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Al Mutsanna] has told us [Abu Daud] has told us [Zuhair] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Abu Juhaifah] he said, "I saw Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam in this part white." -the meaning is in the part of the hair below the lips (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3628.) 14th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you نَحْوَ سَبْعَةَ عَشَرَ أَوْ عِشْرِينَ شَعَرَةً فِي مُقَدَّمِ لِحْيَتِهِ .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Al Mutsanna] has told us [Khalid bin Al Harith] and [Ibn Abu 'Adi] from [Humaid] he said, " [Anas bin Malik] was asked, "Did Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam dye his hair?" he answered, "Indeed his gray hair is not visible except for only seventeen strands or twenty strands in the front of his beard (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3629.) 15th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing كَانَ شَيْبُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ نَحْوَ عِشْرِينَ شَعَرَةً .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Umar bin Al Walid Al Kindi] has told us [Yahya bin Adam] from [Sharik] from ['Ubaidullah] from [Nafi'] from [Ibn Umar] he said, "The gray hair of Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam was only about twenty strands (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3630.) 16th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ مَكَّةَ وَلَهُ أَرْبَعُ غَدَائِرَ . تَعْنِي ضَفَائِرَ .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Sufyan bin 'Uyainah] from [Ibn Abu Najih] from [Mujahid] he said, " [Ummu Hani`] said, "When the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam entered the city of Makkah, he had four ghada`ir, namely strands of loose hair (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3631.) 17th Hadith. God willing يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَكَانَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ يَفْرِقُونَ وَكَانَ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind. الله عليه وسلم ـ نَاصِيَتَهُ ثُمَّ فَرَقَ بَعْدُ .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Yahya bin Adam] from [Ibrahim bin Sa'd] from [Az Zuhri] from ['Ubaidullah bin Abdullah] from [Ibn Abbas] he said, "The people of the book (Jews and Christians) parted their hair in two, while the Mushrikians let their hair down, and the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam was happy like the people of the Book." Anas said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam let down his hair and divided it into two (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3632.) 18th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كُنْتُ أَفْرِقُ خَم God willing نَاصِيَتَهُ .. It has been told to us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Ishaq bin Manshur] from [Ibrahim bin Sa'd] from [Ibn Ishaq] from [Yahya bin 'Abbad] from [his father] from [Aisha] he said, "I parted (the hair) behind the crown of the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, then I unraveled it up to the forehead (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3633.) 19th hadith. God willing يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَنْبَأَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ كَانَ شَعَرُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَمَنْكِبَيْهِ. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Yazid bin Harun] has told us [Jariri bin Hazim] from [Qatadah] from [Anas] he said, "The hair of the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam was straight in curls, loose between his ears and shoulders (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3634.) 20th hadith. God willing ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي God willing God willing ـ شَعَرٌ دُونَ الْجُمَّةِ وَفَوْقَ الْوَفْرَةِ.. Has told us [Abdurrahman bin Ibrahim] has told us [Ibn Abu Fudaik] from [Abdurrahman bin Abu Az Zinad] from [Hisyam bin 'Urwah] from [His father] from [Aisyah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam had hair that hung no further than his shoulders, and above his two earlobes (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3635.) 21st Hadith. God willing God bless you God willing وَائِلِ بْنْ وسلم ـ وَلِي شَعَرٌ طَوِيلٌ فَقَالَ " ذُبَابٌ ذُبَابٌ " . فَانْطَلَقْتُ فَأَخَذْتُهُ فَرَآنِيَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings أَحْسَنُ " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Mu'awiyah bin Hisham] and [Sufyan bin 'Uqbah] from [Sufyan] from ['Ashim bin Kulaib] from [His father] from [Wa`il bin Hujr] he said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam saw me while I had long hair, he then said: "Flies, flies (meaning something that bad)." So I went and cut him, then he looked at me and said: "Indeed I did not mean to hurt you, but this is better (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3636.) 22nd Hadith. God willing مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا أَُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وسلم ـ عَنِ الْقَزَعِ . قَالَ وَمَا الْقَزَعُ قَالَ أَنْ يُحْلَقَ مِنْ رَأْسِ الصَّبِيِّ مَكَانٌ وَيُتْرَكَ مَكَانٌ .. It has been told to us that [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] and [Ali bin Muhammad] both said; has told us [Abu Usamah] from [Ubaidullah bin Umar] from [Umar bin Nafi'] from [Nafi'] from [Ibn Umar] he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade it from qaza'." Nafi' said, "What is meant by qaza'?" Ibn Umar answered, "That is shaving part of a child's hair and leaving the other part (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3637.) 23rd Hadith. God willing God willing دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنّ الله عليه وسلم ـ عَنِ الْقَزَعِ .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Syababah] has told us [Syu'bah] from [Abdullah bin Dinar] from [Ibn Umar] he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade from qaza (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3638.) 24th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ " لاَ يَنْقُشْ أَحَدٌ عَلَى نَقْشِ خَاتَمِي هَذَا " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Sufyan bin 'Uyainah] from [Ayyub bin Musa] from [Nafi'] from [Ibn Umar] he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam made a ring from silver, then engraved it with the words 'Muhammad Rasulullah'." Then he said: "Let no one carve his ring like mine (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3639.) Hadits ke-25. حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ اصْطَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ خَاتَمًا فَقَالَ " إِنَّا قَدِ اصْطَنَعْنَا خَاتَمًا وَنَقَشْنَا فِيهِ نَقْشًا فَلاَ يَنْقُشَنَّ عَلَيْهِ أَحَدٌ " .. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakar bin Abu Syaibah] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Isma'il bin 'Ulayyah] dari [Abdul Aziz bin Shuhaib] dari [Anas bin Malik] dia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam membuat cincin, lalu beliau bersabda: "Sesungguhnya aku telah membuat cincin dan telah mengukirnya dengan suatu ukiran, maka janganlah salah seorang mengukirnya (seperti ukiran yang serupa) (Derajat: shahih. Has told us [Muhammad bin Yahya] has told us [Uthman bin Umar] has told us [Yunus] from [Az Zuhri] from [Anas bin Malik], that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam made a ring from silver with a stone from the land of Habsyah and engraved with 'Muhammad Rasulullah (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3641.) 27th Hadith. God willing God bless you مَوْلَى عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ عَنِ التَّخَتُّمِ بِالذَّهَبِ .. Has told us [Abu Bakr] has told us [Abdullah bin Numair] from [Ubaidullah] from [Nafi'] from [Ibn Hunain] Ali's former slave, from [Ali] he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade wearing rings (made) of gold (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3642.) 28th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وسلم ـ عَنْ خَاتَمِ الذَّهَبِ .. Has told us [Abu Bakr] has told us [Ali bin Mushir] from [Yazid bin Abu Ziyad] from [Al Hasan bin Suhail] from [Ibn Umar] he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade (wearing) rings made of gold (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3643.) 29th Hadith. God willing عَبْدُ اللَّهْ God willing God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings فِيهّ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing " " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Abdullah bin Numair] from [Muhammad bin Ishaq] from [Yahya bin 'Abbad bin Abdullah bin Az Zubair] from [his father] from [Aisyah] Ummul Mukminin, he said, "King Najasyi presented the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam with jewelry, among which there was a gold ring with the ring stone from Habasyah. Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam then took it with a stick of wood and he turned away from it -or took it with his fingers-, then he called his granddaughter, Umamah bint Al 'Ash, saying: "Adorn yourself with this, O my daughter (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3644.) 30th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وسلم ـ كَانَ يَجْعَلُ فَصَّ خَاتَمِهِ مِمَّا يَلِي كَفَّهُ .. It has been told to us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Sufyan bin 'Uyainah] from [Ayyub bin Musa] from [Nafi'] from [Ibn Umar], that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam turned the stone of his ring on the palm of his hand (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3645.) 31st Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing يُونُسَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الأَيْلِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ God willing ـ لَبِسَ خَاتَمَ فِضَّةٍ فِيهِ فَصٌّ حَبَشِيٌّ كَانَ يَجْعَلُ فَصَّهُ فِي بَطْنِ كَفِّهِ .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Yahya] has told us [Isma'il bin Abu Uwais] has told me [Sulaiman bin Bilal] from [Yunus bin Yazid Al Aili] from [Ibnu Shihab] from [Anas bin Malik], that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam wore a ring made of silver and the stone from Habasyah, he then turned the ring stone towards the palm of his hand (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3646.) Hadits ke-32. حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ كَانَ يَتَخَتَّمُ فِي يَمِينِهِ ..
