Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God willing. God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing Has told me from Malik from [Yahya bin Sa'id] said; "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was sitting, while the grave in Medina was being dug. There was someone observing the grave and saying: "How ugly is the bed of a believer." Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam then said: "How ugly is what you say." The man said: 'O Messenger of Allah, that's not what I mean. But the people who died in the way of Allah." The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: 'Death on the battlefield is incomparable. There is not a single inch of land on this earth that I would rather have as my grave except from him." -three times- means in the city of Medina (Degree: authentic. Yahya has told me from Malik from [Zaid bin Aslam] that [Umar bin Khattab] once prayed: "O Allah, I ask You to die as a martyr in Your way, and to die in the land of Your Messenger (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 992.) 3rd Hadith. It has been told to me from Malik from [Yahya bin Sa'id] that [Umar bin Khattab] said; "The glory of a believer is his piety, his religion is his honor, his authority is his morals, while courage and cowardice are the instincts that Allah instills in whom He wills. People who are afraid will run away from defending their father and mother, while people who are brave will fight to defend something that will not be brought into their house. Falling in battle is a type of death, while a martyr is a person who surrenders his soul to Allah (Degree: sahih. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 993.) 4th Hadith. One day the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam met him, then he gave him food. Umm Haram then sat supporting the head of Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam until he fell asleep. Then he got up laughing, Umm Haram said, "I then asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what makes you laugh?" He answered: "I have been shown several people from my Ummah who fight in the way of Allah, they are superior above the sea like kings on couches." then prayed to Umm Haram and put his head back to sleep. Then he woke up and laughed, Umm Haram asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what made you laugh?" Umm Haram said; "O Messenger of Allah, pray that I am one of them." Yahya from Malik from [Abdurrahman bin Abu Sha'sha'ah] told me that the graves of 'Amru bin Jamuh and Abdullah bin 'Amru - both from the Ansar of Bani Salam - were damaged due to the rain that soaked them. This was because the grave was in a flooded area, both of them were buried in the same hole, and they were among the victims killed in the Uhud battle. Then their graves were dug up to be moved, but their bodies did not change at all, as if they had just died yesterday. One of them was injured and put his hand on the wound, then he was buried in that condition. After being dug up, his hand tried to straighten but couldn't (go back to its original place). Yahya has told me from Malik from [Humaid bin Qais] and [Tsaur bin Zaid Ad Dili] that they both told him a hadith from Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, then one of the two added to his friend's statement, that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam once saw someone standing under the hot sun. He asked: "What is he doing this for?" They answered; "He made a vow not to speak, not to take shelter from the hot sun, nor to sit while fasting." Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Tell him to talk, take shelter, sit down and continue his fast." Whoever vows to disobey Him, then let him not do it." Yahya said; "I heard Malik say: The meaning of the words of the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam "Whoever vows to disobey Him, then let him not do it," that is, if someone vows to travel to the land of Syria, or to Egypt, or to Rabadzah, or to another place where there is no value in obeying Allah, or if he asks to talk to someone or other than that. Then there is no obligation for him from that; if he tells someone or denies it this promise, because this has no value of obedience.
