Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God willing اللَّهِ بْنْ قَالَ ‏ "‏ مَنْ بَاعَ نَخْلاً قَدْ أُبِّرَتْ فَثَمَرُهَا لِلْبَائِعِ إِلاَّ أَنْ يَشْتَرِطَ الْمُبْتَاعُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Yahya told me from Malik from [Nafi'] from [Abdullah bin Umar] that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Whoever sells a date palm tree whose fruit has ripened, the fruit becomes the property of the seller, unless the buyer requires it (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1298.) 2nd hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing وَالْمُشْتَرِيَ ‏.‏. It has been told to me that Yahya from Malik from [Nafi'] from [Ibn Umar] said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade selling fruit unless it looked ripe. He also prohibited people from selling and buying it (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1299.) 3rd Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ، عَنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الثِّمَارِ حَتَّى تُزْهِيَ ‏.‏ فَقِيلَ لَهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا تُزْهِي فَقَالَ ‏"‏ حِينَ تَحْمَرُّ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم "" God willing أَحَدُكُمْ مَالَ أَخِيهِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. It has been narrated to me from Malik from [Humaid Ath-Thawil] from [Anas bin Malik] who said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade selling fruit until it looked ripe. Then it was said to him, "O Messenger of Allah, what are its characteristics?" He replied; "Until it is red." Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam continued: "What do you think if Allah did not make the fruit ripe, then with a reason did one of you take another's property (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1300.) 4th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الرِّجَالِ، مُحَمَّدِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وسلم نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الثِّمَارِ حَتَّى تَنْجُوَ مِنَ God bless you. يَبْدُوَ صَلاَحُهَا مِنْ بَيْعِ الْغَرَرِ ‏.‏. Has told me from Malik from [Abu Ar Rijal Muhammad bin Abdurrahman bin Haristah] from his mother ['Amrah bint Abdurrahman] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade selling fruit until it was free from pests (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1301.) 5th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. الثُّرَيَّا ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Abu Az Zinad] from [Kharijah bin Zaid bin Thabit] from [Zaid bin Tsabit] that he never sells his fruit until he sees stars (ripe) (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1302.) 6th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing أَنْ يَبِيعَهَا بِخَرْصِهَا ‏.‏. It has been told to me that Yahya from Malik from [Nafi'] from [Abdullah bin Umar] from [Zaid bin Thabit] said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam gave relief to the owners of fruitful date palm trees to sell them by appraising (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1303.) 7th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ، God willing هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَرْخَصَ فِي بَيْعِ الْعَرَايَا بِخَرْصِهَا فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسَةِ God willing. God willing. خَمْسَةِ أَوْسُقٍ أَوْ دُونَ خَمْسَةِ أَوْسُقٍ ‏.‏. It has been told to me Malik from [Daud bin Al Hushain] from [Abu Sufyan] Ibn Abu's slave Ahmad, from [Abu Hurayrah] said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam gave relief in selling 'araya, with an estimate as long as its weight is under five wasaq or the weight of five wasaq." Daud still doubted whether the Messenger of Allah said five wasaq or less than five wasaq (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1304.) 8th Hadith. Allah's blessings مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنْ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّهُ or رَجُلٌ ثَمَرَ حَائِطٍ فِي زَمَانْ وسلم فَعَالَجَهُ وَقَامَ فِيهِ حَتَّى تَبَيَّنَ لَهُ God bless you God bless you God willing God bless you وسلم ‏ "‏ تَأَلَّى أَنْ لاَ يَفْعَلَ خَيْرًا ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَسَمِعَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing عليه وسلم فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هُوَ لَهُ ‏.‏. Yahya told me from Malik from [Abu Ar Rijal Muhammad bin Abdurrahman] from his mother [Amrah bint Abdurrahman] that he heard Amrah say, "At the time of the Messenger of Allah there was a man who bought fruit from a garden. The man then examined and examined it until he found out the defects in the fruit. The man then asked the owner of the garden to cancel it or reduce the price. The owner of the garden then swore that he would not do so. So the man's mother came to the Messenger of Allah Shalla Allahu 'alaihi wa sallam and complained about this to him. Rasulullah Salla Allahu 'alaihi wa sallam then said: "He had sworn that he would not do good." 9th Hadith. God bless you God willing يَبِيعُ ثَمَرَ حَائِطِهِ وَيَسْتَثْنِي مِنْهُ ‏.‏. Yahya has told me from Malik from [Rabi'ah bin Abdurrahman] that [Al Qasim bin Muhammad] sold the fruit in his garden, then he excluded something from it (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1307.) 10th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing بِثَمَانِمِائَةِ دِرْهَمٍ تَمْرًا ‏.‏. It was told to me from Malik from [Abdullah bin Abu Bakr] that his grandfather [Muhammad bin 'Amru bin Hazm] sold all the fruit in his garden, which is usually called Al Afraq, for four thousand dirhams. Then he excluded dates from him worth eight hundred dirhams (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1308.) 11th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الرِّجَالِ، مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. وَتَسْتَثْنِي مِنْهَا ‏.‏ قَالَ مَالِكٌ الأَمْرُ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you God willing ذَلِكَ وَمَا كَانَ دُونَ الثُّلُثِ فَلاَ بَأْسَ بِذَلِكَ ‏.‏ قَالَ مَالِكٌ فَأَمَّا الرَّجُلُ يَبِيعُ ثَمَرَ حَائِطِهِ وَيَسْتَثْنِي مِنْ ثَمَرِ حَائِطِهِ ثَمَرَ نَخْلَةٍ أَوْ prayer God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. Allah's blessings God bless you مِنْ حَائِطِهِ مَا سِوَى ذَلِكَ ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Abu Ar Rijal Muhammad bin Abdurrahman bin Haristah] that his mother ['Amrah bint Abdurrahman] once sold her fruit by excluding some of it (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1309.) 12th Hadith. God willing عَنْ عَطَاءْ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind بِالتَّمْرِ ‏"‏ ‏." may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind. عليه وسلم ‏"‏ ادْعُوهُ لِي ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَدُعِيَ لَهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهْ بِالصَّاعَيْنِ ‏‏ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لاَ يَبِيعُونَنِي الْجَنِيبَ بِالْجَمْعِ صَاعًا بِصَاعٍ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم "" God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing جَنِيبًا ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Yahya told me from Malik from [Zaid bin Aslam] from ['Atha bin Yasar] he said, "Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "You must sell dates with equal weight." Then it was said to him, "Your worker in Khaibar sells one sha' of dates for two sha'?" Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam then said to the man: "Call Allah. him! " So the Prophet's worker was called, he then asked: "Is it true that you sell one sha' of dates for two sha' of dates." He answered; "O Messenger of Allah, they don't want to sell me one sha' of dates for one sha'?" Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam then said to him; "Then, sell the bad dates for a few dirhams, then buy with those dirhams good dates (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1310.) 13th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing God bless you فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ أَكُلُّ تَمْرِ خَيْبَرَ هَكَذَا ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ لاَ وَاللَّهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهْ بِالصَّاعَيْنِ وَالصَّاعَيْنِ بِالثَّلاَثَةِ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing جَنِيبًا ‏"‏ ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Abdul Majid bin Suhail bin Abdurrahman bin Auf] from [Sa'id bin Musayyab] from [Abu Sa'id Al Khudri] and from [Abu Hurairah] said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam appointed an employee who was assigned to Khaibar, then he brought him souvenirs of dates. He asked; "Do every Khaibar date taste like this?" he said. replied; "O Messenger of Allah, no. By Allah, we used to sell one sha' of dates of this kind for two sha' of dates of another kind, and two sha' of dates of this kind with three sha' of dates of another kind." So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not do that! but sell bad dates for dirhams, then use the dirhams to buy good dates (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1311.) 14th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، God willing سَعْدَ بْنَ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ عَنِ الْبَيْضَاءِ، بِالسُّلْتِ God bless you ‏.” God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing بِالرُّطَبِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم "‏ أَيَنْقُصُ الرُّطَبُ إِذَا يَبِسَ ‏"‏ ‏." ‏.‏ فَنَهَى عَنْ ذَلِكَ ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Abdullah bin Yazid] that [Zaid Abu Ayyasy] told him that he once asked [Sa'd bin Abu Waqqash] about the law of selling wheat with sult (both are types of wheat). Sa'd bin Abu Waqqash then asked; "Between the two, which is better?" Zaid answered; "Wheat." so he forbade it. Then Sa'd said; "I once heard the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam asked about buying and selling tamr (dry dates) with ruthab (wet dates)." So he asked; "Will dates be less if they are wet if they are dry?" They answered; "Yes." so he forbade it (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1312.) 15th Hadith. God willing اللَّهِ بْنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace God willing ‏.‏. Yahya has told me from Malik from [Nafi'] from [Abdullah bin Umar] that Rasulullah salla Allahu 'alaihi wa sallam prohibited buying and selling by means of muzabanah; namely selling tsama (unfinished dates) with ripe dates by determining the quantity, or grapes with raisins (dried grapes), by determining the quantity (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1313.) 16th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing السَّعْدَيْنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing لَهُمَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ أَرْبَيْتُمَا فَرُدَّا. Has told me Yahya from Malik from [Yahya bin Sa'id] said; "The Messenger of Allah salla Allahu 'alaihi wa sallam once ordered two friends named Sa'd (Sa'ad bin Abu Waqash and Sa'd bin 'Ubadah) to sell gold and silver vessels obtained from the war ghanimah. They sell every three items for four items, or every four items for three items. Then Rasulullah salla Allahu 'alaihi wa sallam said to both of them; "You have committed usury. Give it back (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1316.) 17th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَبِي تَمِيمٍ، God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing "‏ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. فَضْلَ بَيْنَهُمَا ‏"‏ ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Musa bin Abu Tamim] from [Abu Al Hubab Sa'id bin Yasar] from [Abu Hurairah] that the Messenger of Allah salla Allahu 'alaihi wa sallam said: "One dinar is sold for one dinar, and one dirham for one dirham. Between the two there can be no more (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1317.) 18th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ‏ "‏ لاَ تَبِيعُوا الذَّهَبَ بِالذَّهَبِ إِلاَّ مِثْلاً بِمِثْلٍ وَلاَ تُشِفُّوا بَعْضَهَا عَلَى بَعْضٍ وَلاَ تَبِيعُوا God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing Allah's blessings غَائِبًا بِنَاجِزٍ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Nafi'] from [Abu Sa'id Al Khudri] that Rasulullah Salla Allahu 'alaihi wa sallam said: "Don't sell gold for gold unless it is similar, you don't put some over other parts. And don't sell silver for silver unless it is similar, you don't sell some over other parts. And don't sell something that doesn't exist for something that is ready (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1318.) 19th hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ God willing اللَّهِ بْنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing مِنْ ذَلِكَ قَدْرَ عَمَلِ يَدِي ‏ فَنَهَاهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God bless you بِالدِّينَارْ God bless you إِلَيْكُمْ ‏.‏. Has told me from Malik from [Humaid bin Qais Al Maki] from [Mujahid] said; "When I was with [Abdullah bin Umar], a goldsmith came and said to him: 'O Abu Abdurrahman, I work as a goldsmith, then I sell my work for gold that is heavier in weight, I ask for more according to my work?" Then Abdullah forbade it. The person repeated his question and Abdullah continued to stop him until he arrived at the door of the mosque or near the vehicle he wanted to ride. Finally Abdullah bin Umar said; 'One dinar for one dinar, and one dirham for one dirham, there cannot be more between the two. That is the will of our Prophet to us, and our referee to you (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1319.) 20th hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace بَاعَ سِقَايَةً مِنْ ذَهَبٍ أَوْ وَرِقٍ بِأَكْثَرَ مِنْ وَزْنِهَا فَقَالَ أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you. God bless you. أَنَا أُخْبِرُهُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله God willing God willing. God willing. God willing. God willing God bless you God willing مِثْلاً بِمِثْلٍ وَزْنًا بِوَزْنٍ ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Zaid bin Aslam] from ['Atha bin Yasar] who said, "Mu'awiyah bin Abu Sufyan has sold vessels made of gold or silver for more than their weight. So [Abu Darda'] also said; "I have heard the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbid buying and selling like this unless the weight is the same." Then Mu'awiyah denied it by saying; "I think this is okay! " Then Abu Darda asked; "Who will help me explain what Mu'awiyah did? I told this from Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he even denied it with his opinion. I will not inhabit an area where you are in it." Then Abu Darda met Umar bin Khattab and reported this, so [Umar bin Khattab] wrote a letter to Mu'awiyah; "Do not sell it unless it is similar and of the same weight (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1321.) 21st Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing تُشِفُّوا بَعَْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. عَلَيْكُمُ الرَّمَاءَ وَالرَّمَاءُ هُوَ الرِّبَا ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Nafi'] from [Abdullah bin Umar] that [Umar bin Khattab] said; "Do not sell gold for gold unless it is equal, and do not set one part over another. no. 1322.) 22nd Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنْ God bless you مِثْلاً بِمِثْلٍ وَلاَ تُشِفُّوا بَعْضَهَا عَلَى بَعْضٍ وَلاَ God willing تُشِفُّوا بَعَْ مِنْهَا غَائِبًا بِنَاجِزٍ ‏.‏ وَإِنِ اسْتَنْظَرَكَ إِلَى أَنْ يَلِجَ بَيْتَهْ عَلَيْكُمُ الرَّمَاءَ وَالرَّمَاءُ هُوَ الرِّبَا ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Abdullah bin Dinar] from [Abdullah bin 'Umar] that [Umar bin Khattab] said; "Do not sell gold for gold unless it is equal, and do not exchange one part for another part. Do not sell silver for silver unless it is equal, and do not sell one part for another part. Do not sell something; one is there while the other is not (in place). If someone asks you for a delay until he enters his house, then do not give him a delay, because I am afraid you will get extra, because extra is riba (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1323.) 23rd Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، أَنَّهُ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing ذَهَبٍ أَوْ فِضَّةٍ أَوْ مَا يُكَالُ أَوْ يُوزَنُ بِمَا يُؤْكَلُ أَوْ يُشْرَبُ ‏.‏. Has told me from Malik from [Abu Zinad] that he heard [Sa'id bin Musayyab] say; "There is no usury except for gold and silver, or things that are measured and weighed from food or drink (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1325.) 24th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّهُ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. وَالْوَرِقِ مِنَ الْفَسَادِ فِي الأَرْضِ ‏.‏ قَالَ مَالِكٌ God bless you وَالْفِضَّةَ بِالذَّهَبِ جِزَافًا إِذَا كَانَ تِبْرًا أَوْ God willing love love God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you مِنْ بُيُوعِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَأَمَّا مَا كَانَ يُوزَنُ مِنَ التِّبْرْ God willing God willing God bless you بِابْتِيَاعِ ذَلِكَ جِزَافًا بَأْسٌ ‏ . God willing God willing فَإِنَّ مَا اشْتُرِيَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ وَفِيهِ الذَّهَبُ God bless you كَانَتْ قِيمَةُ ذَلِكَ الثُّلُثَيْنِ وَقِيمَةُ مَا فِيهِ مِنَ Allah's blessings كَانَ ذَلِكَ يَدًا بِيَدٍ وَلاَ يَكُونُ فِيهِ تَأْخِيرٌ وَمَا God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing نُظِرَ إِلَى قِيمَتِهِ فَإِنْ كَانَ قِيمَةُ ذَلِكَ الثُّلُثَيْنْ فَذَلِكَ جَائِزٌ لاَ بَأْسَ بِهِ إِذَا كَانَ ذَلِكَ يَدًا بِيَدٍ وَلَمْ يَزَلْ ذَلِكَ مِنْ أَمْرِ النَّاسِ عِنْدَنَا ‏.‏. Has reported to me from Malik from [Yahya bin Sa'id] from [Sa'id bin Musayyab] said; "Cutting (reducing the portion) of gold and silver is one part of the corruption on earth (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1326.) 25th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you God willing وَعُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ يَسْمَعُ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ وَاللَّهِ لاَ تُفَارِقْهُ حَتَّى تَأْخُذَ مِنْهُ - ثُمَّ قَالَ - قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ الذَّهَبُ بِالْوَرِقِ رِبًا إِلاَِ God bless you God bless you هَاءَ وَهَاءَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏. Yahya has told me from Malik from [Ibnu Syihab] from [Malik bin Aus bin Al Hadatsan An Nashri] that he once exchanged one hundred dinars. Malik bin Aus said; "Thalhah bin Ubaidullah called me until we bargained with each other. Then he exchanged it from me and took the gold while turning it over in his hand, then he said: 'Wait until my treasurer comes from the forest.' At that time [Umar Umar bin Khattab] heard it, then he said; "Don't leave him until you have actually taken something from him." Umar then said again, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: 'Gold with gold is riba unless cash, silver with silver is riba unless cash, wheat with wheat is riba unless cash, dates with dates are riba unless cash and wheat with wheat is riba unless cash (Degree: authentic. Hadits ke-26. حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قُسَيْطٍ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ يُرَاطِلُ الذَّهَبَ بِالذَّهَبِ فَيُفْرِغُ ذَهَبَهُ فِي كِفَّةِ الْمِيزَانِ وَيُفْرِغُ صَاحِبُهُ الَّذِي يُرَاطِلُهُ ذَهَبَهُ فِي كِفَّةِ الْمِيزَانِ الأُخْرَى فَإِذَا اعْتَدَلَ لِسَانُ الْمِيزَانِ أَخَذَ وَأَعْطَى ‏.‏ قَالَ مَالِكٌ الأَمْرُ عِنْدَنَا فِي بَيْعِ الذَّهَبِ بِالذَّهَبِ وَالْوَرِقِ بِالْوَرِقِ مُرَاطَلَةً أَنَّهُ لاَ بَأْسَ بِذَلِكَ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ أَحَدَ عَشَرَ دِينَارًا بِعَشَرَةِ دَنَانِيرَ يَدًا بِيَدٍ إِذَا كَانَ وَزْنُ الذَّهَبَيْنِ سَوَاءً عَيْنًا بِعَيْنٍ وَإِنْ تَفَاضَلَ الْعَدَدُ وَالدَّرَاهِمُ أَيْضًا فِي ذَلِكَ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الدَّنَانِيرِ ‏.‏ قَالَ مَالِكٌ مَنْ رَاطَلَ ذَهَبًا بِذَهَبٍ أَوْ وَرِقًا بِوَرِقٍ فَكَانَ بَيْنَ الذَّهَبَيْنِ فَضْلُ مِثْقَالٍ فَأَعْطَى صَاحِبَهُ قِيمَتَهُ مِنَ الْوَرِقِ أَوْ مِنْ غَيْرِهَا فَلاَ يَأْخُذُهُ فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ قَبِيحٌ وَذَرِيعَةٌ إِلَى الرِّبَا لأَنَّهُ إِذَا جَازَ لَهُ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ الْمِثْقَالَ بِقِيمَتِهِ حَتَّى كَأَنَّهُ اشْتَرَاهُ عَلَى حِدَتِهِ جَازَ لَهُ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ الْمِثْقَالَ بِقِيمَتِهِ مِرَارًا لأَنْ يُجِيزَ ذَلِكَ الْبَيْعَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ صَاحِبِهِ ‏.‏ قَالَ مَالِكٌ وَلَوْ أَنَّهُ بَاعَهُ ذَلِكَ الْمِثْقَالَ مُفْرَدًا لَيْسَ مَعَهُ غَيْرُهُ لَمْ يَأْخُذْهُ بِعُشْرِ الثَّمَنِ الَّذِي أَخَذَهُ بِهِ لأَنْ يُجَوِّزَ لَهُ الْبَيْعَ فَذَلِكَ الذَّرِيعَةُ إِلَى إِحْلاَلِ الْحَرَامِ وَالأَمْرُ الْمَنْهِيُّ عَنْهُ ‏.‏ قَالَ مَالِكٌ فِي الرَّجُلِ يُرَاطِلُ الرَّجُلَ وَيُعْطِيهِ الذَّهَبَ الْعُتُقَ الْجِيَادَ وَيَجْعَلُ مَعَهَا تِبْرًا ذَهَبًا غَيْرَ جَيِّدَةٍ وَيَأْخُذُ مِنْ صَاحِبِهِ ذَهَبًا كُوفِيَّةً مُقَطَّعَةً وَتِلْكَ الْكُوفِيَّةُ مَكْرُوهَةٌ عِنْدَ النَّاسِ فَيَتَبَايَعَانِ ذَلِكَ مِثْلاً بِمِثْلٍ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ لاَ يَصْلُحُ ‏.‏ قَالَ مَالِكٌ وَتَفْسِيرُ مَا كُرِهَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ أَنَّ صَاحِبَ الذَّهَبِ الْجِيَادِ أَخَذَ فَضْلَ عُيُونِ ذَهَبِهِ فِي التِّبْرِ الَّذِي طَرَحَ مَعَ ذَهَبِهِ وَلَوْلاَ فَضْلُ ذَهَبِهِ عَلَى ذَهَبِ صَاحِبِهِ لَمْ يُرَاطِلْهُ صَاحِبُهُ بِتِبْرِهِ ذَلِكَ إِلَى ذَهَبِهِ الْكُوفِيَّةِ فَامْتَنَعَ وَإِنَّمَا مَثَلُ ذَلِكَ كَمَثَلِ رَجُلٍ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَبْتَاعَ ثَلاَثَةَ أَصْوُعٍ مِنْ تَمْرٍ عَجْوَةٍ بِصَاعَيْنِ وَمُدٍّ مِنْ تَمْرٍ كَبِيسٍ فَقِيلَ لَهُ هَذَا لاَ يَصْلُحُ ‏.‏ فَجَعَلَ صَاعَيْنِ مِنْ كَبِيسٍ وَصَاعًا مِنْ حَشَفٍ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُجِيزَ بِذَلِكَ بَيْعَهُ فَذَلِكَ لاَ يَصْلُحُ لأَنَّهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ صَاحِبُ الْعَجْوَةِ لِيُعْطِيَهُ صَاعًا مِنَ الْعَجْوَةِ بِصَاعٍ مِنْ حَشَفٍ وَلَكِنَّهُ إِنَّمَا أَعْطَاهُ ذَلِكَ لِفَضْلِ الْكَبِيسِ أَوْ أَنْ يَقُولَ الرَّجُلُ لِلرَّجُلِ بِعْنِي ثَلاَثَةَ أَصْوُعٍ مِنَ الْبَيْضَاءِ بِصَاعَيْنِ وَنِصْفٍ مِنْ حِنْطَةٍ شَامِيَّةٍ فَيَقُولُ هَذَا لاَ يَصْلُحُ إِلاَّ مِثْلاً بِمِثْلٍ ‏.‏ فَيَجْعَلُ صَاعَيْنِ مِنْ حِنْطَةٍ شَامِيَّةٍ وَصَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُجِيزَ بِذَلِكَ الْبَيْعَ فِيمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فَهَذَا لاَ يَصْلُحُ لأَنَّهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ لِيُعْطِيَهُ بِصَاعٍ مِنْ شَعِيرٍ صَاعًا مِنْ حِنْطَةٍ بَيْضَاءَ لَوْ كَانَ ذَلِكَ الصَّاعُ مُفْرَدًا وَإِنَّمَا أَعْطَاهُ إِيَّاهُ لِفَضْلِ الشَّامِيَّةِ عَلَى الْبَيْضَاءِ فَهَذَا لاَ يَصْلُحُ وَهُوَ مِثْلُ مَا وَصَفْنَا مِنَ التِّبْرِ ‏.‏ قَالَ مَالِكٌ فَكُلُّ شَىْءٍ مِنَ الذَّهَبِ وَالْوَرِقِ وَالطَّعَامِ كُلِّهِ الَّذِي لاَ يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يُبَاعَ إِلاَّ مِثْلاً بِمِثْلٍ فَلاَ يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يُجْعَلَ مَعَ الصِّنْفِ الْجَيِّدِ مِنَ الْمَرْغُوبِ فِيهِ الشَّىْءُ الرَّدِيءُ الْمَسْخُوطُ لِيُجَازَ الْبَيْعُ وَلِيُسْتَحَلَّ بِذَلِكَ مَا نُهِيَ عَنْهُ مِنَ الأَمْرِ الَّذِي لاَ يَصْلُحُ إِذَا جُعِلَ ذَلِكَ مَعَ الصِّنْفِ الْمَرْغُوبِ فِيهِ وَإِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ صَاحِبُ ذَلِكَ أَنْ يُدْرِكَ بِذَلِكَ فَضْلَ جَوْدَةِ مَا يَبِيعُ فَيُعْطِيَ الشَّىْءَ الَّذِي لَوْ أَعْطَاهُ وَحْدَهُ لَمْ يَقْبَلْهُ صَاحِبُهُ وَلَمْ يَهْمُمْ بِذَلِكَ وَإِنَّمَا يَقْبَلُهُ مِنْ أَجْلِ الَّذِي يَأْخُذُ مَعَهُ لِفَضْلِ سِلْعَةِ صَاحِبِهِ عَلَى سِلْعَتِهِ فَلاَ يَنْبَغِي لِشَىْءٍ مِنَ الذَّهَبِ وَالْوَرِقِ وَالطَّعَامِ أَنْ يَدْخُلَهُ شَىْءٌ مِنْ هَذِهِ الصِّفَةِ فَإِنْ أَرَادَ صَاحِبُ الطَّعَامِ الرَّدِيءِ أَنْ يَبِيعَهُ بِغَيْرِهِ فَلْيَبِعْهُ عَلَى حِدَتِهِ وَلاَ يَجْعَلْ مَعَ ذَلِكَ شَيْئًا فَلاَ بَأْسَ بِهِ إِذَا كَانَ كَذَلِكَ ‏.‏. Telah menceritakan kepadaku Yahya dari Malik dari [Yazid bin Abdullah bin Qusaith Al Laitsi] Bahwasanya ia melihat [Sa'id bin Musayyab] menjual emas dengan emas secara ritl (timbangan) . Sa'id bin Musayyab meletakkan emasnya pada piringan neraca, sementara sahabatnya yang bertransaksi dengannya meletakkan emasnya pada piringan neraca yang lain. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 1331.) 30th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، ‏.‏ أَنَّ حَكِيمَ God bless you God bless you يَسْتَوْفِيَهُ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ فَرَدَّهُ عَلَيْهْ حَتَّى تَسْتَوْفِيَهُ ‏.‏. It has been told to me from Malik from [Nafi'] that Hakim bin Hizam bought food to give to people because Umar bin Khattab ordered him to. Then Hakim resold it before he received it. This incident then reached Umar bin Khattab, so Umar returned the food to him. Then [Umar] said; "Do not sell food that you have bought, until you receive it (Degree: authentic. Has told me from Malik from [Yahya bin Sa'id] that he had heard Jamil bin Abdurrahman Al muezzin say to [Sa'id bin Musayyab]; "I am the person who bought the good fortune given to the people in Al Jar thanks to Allah's will. I want to sell the food entrusted to me with a delay." Sa'id also asked him; "Will you give the full (price) of the goods you have purchased?" he answered; "Yes." Yahya has told me from Malik from [Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Abu Maryam] that he once asked [Sa'id bin Musayyab]; "I bought food when the securities were circulating in Al Jar. Then when I had bought the food for one dinar and a half dirham, I was given half of the food." Sa'id answered; 'No, give one dirham, and take the rest in the form of food (Degree: authentic.
