It has been told to us [Umar bin Harun Al Balkhi Abu Hafsh] has told us [Ibnu Juraij] from [some of the Bani Ya'la bin Umayyah], from [his father] he said, "I saw the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam folding his Najran burd (a type of cloth) from under the right armpit to the top of the left shoulder when sa'i between shafa and marwah." He told us [Al Haitsam bin Kharijah] he said, He told us [Basyir bin Thalhah Abu Nashr Al Hadlrami] or Al Khusyani from [Khalid bin Duraik] from [Ya'la bin Umayah] he said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam once sent me on several expeditions. Then one day he sent me on an expedition, then I found a man riding a bighal. I told him "Go with me because the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam sent me on an expedition." The man answered, "I will not go with you." He answered, "Unless you give me three dinars." I have promised Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam not to return (before completing the task). Go with me and I will give you three dinars." So when I had returned from my war, I reported this to the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he then said: "He did not gain anything from this war in this world or the hereafter, apart from three dinars."
