And whoever dies while associating partners with Allah with something else, then he will go to hell. Abdullah bin Zam'ah said; I went out and it turned out that Umar was among the friends, while Abu Bakr was not there. Abdullah bin Zam'ah said, "Stand up, O Umar, pray (as imam) with the muslimin people." So Umar stood up, and when he was saying takbir, Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam heard his voice - because Umar was a man with a loud voice -, then Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Where is Abu Bakr, Allah and the people of muslimin are reluctant about that. Allah and the people of muslimin are reluctant about that." Finally he sent someone to Abu Bakr. So he came after Umar had finished performing the prayer, then Abu Bakr prayed (led) with the muslimin people. Abdullah bin Zam'ah said; Umar said to me, "Woe to you, what did you do to me, O Ibn Zam'ah. By Allah, I did not think when you ordered me, unless it was the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam who ordered you (to order me to become Imam). If it were not for that, I would not pray (lead) the muslimin people." I said, "By Allah, Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam did not order me. However, when I did not see Abu Bakr, I saw that you were the one who had more right to lead the prayer." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Sa'id] bekas budak Bani Hasyim, Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdullah bin Ja'far] Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ummu Bakr binti Al Miswar bin Makhramah] dari [Ubaidullah bin Abu Rafi'] dari [Miswar] bahwasanya; Hasan bin Hasan mengutus seseorang padanya untuk meminang anak putrinya. Maka ia pun berkata, "Katakanlah padanya, hendaklah ia menemui setelah shalat Isya`." Maka Hasan menemuinya. Lalu Ali pergi berpamitan. (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Musnad Ahmad.) This is a collection of selected hadiths for this session.
