Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God willing God willing God willing يَوْمًا أَلَا أُرِيكُمْ كَيْفَ كَانَتْ صَلَاهُ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings فَأَمْكَنَ الرُّكُوعَ ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ وَانْتَصَبَ قَائِمًا هُنَيَّةً ثُمَّ سَجَدَ ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ وَيُكَبِّرُ فِي الْجُلُوسِ ثُمَّ انْتَظَرَ هُنَيَّةً ثُمَّ سَجَدَقَالَ أَبُم God willing وَكَانَ يَؤُمُّ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing إِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنْ السَّجْدَتَيْنِ اسْتَوَى قَاعِدًا ثُمَّ قَامَ مِنْ الرَّكْعَةِ الْأُولَى وَالثَّانِيَةِ. Has told us [Yunus], has told us [Hammad namely Ibn Zaid], has told us [Ayyub] from [Abu Qilabah] from [Malik bin Al Huwairits Al Laitsi] that one day he once said to his companions; "Would you like me to show you how the Prophet sallallaahu 'Alaihi Wasallam prayed?" Abu Qilabah said; "When it was not prayer time," then Malik stood up and steadied his stance then bowed down until he really bowed down then raised his head and stood upright calmly then prostrated, then raised his head while saying takbir while sitting then knelt quietly and prostrated again." [Abu Qilabah] said; "Then Malik bin AL Huwairits practiced the prayer as our teacher prayed, namely [Amru bin Salamah Al Jarmi] and he had been a priest at the time of the Prophet Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam, [Ayyub] said; "Then I saw [Amru bin Salimah] do something that I did not see you do, namely when he raised his head from two prostrations, he sat in a balance and then stood up in the first and second rak'ah." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 2nd hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَقَالَ إِنَّهُ لَا يَنْكَأُ عَدُوًّا وَلَا يَصِيدُ وَلَكِنَّهُ يَكْسِرُ السِّنَّ وَيَفْقَأُ الْعَيْنَ. Has told us [Yahya bin Sa'id] from [Shu'bah] - from [Muhammad bin Ja'far] has told us [Shu'bah] - has told us [Qatadah] from [Uqbah bin Shuhban] from [Ibn Mughaffal] that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'Alaihi Wasallam forbade 'khadzaf.' Ibn Mughaffal said; "Because Khadzaf will not defeat the enemy or hunt him down, but will only break his teeth and blind his eyes." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 3rd Hadith. Allah's blessings الْحَسَنِ عَنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. message وَأَنْتُمْ فِي أَعْطَانِ الْإِبِلِ فَلَا تُصَلُّوا فَإِنَّهَا خُلِقَتْ مِنْ الشَّيَاطِينِ. Having told us [Waki'] from [Abu Sufyan bin 'Ala`] from [Al Hasan] from [Ibn Mughaffal] he said; Rasulullah Sallalahu 'Alaihi Wasallam said: "When the time for prayer comes, while you are in the goat pen, then pray. When the time for prayer comes, while you are in the camel pen, then do not pray (in that place), because it was created from Satan." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 4th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing مُغَفَّلٍ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ God bless you لِمَنْ شَاءَ. It has been told to us that [Waki'] and [Ibn Ja'far] both said; has told us [Kahmas bin Hasan] from [Ibn Buraidah] from [Abdullah bin Mughaffal] he said; Rasulullah Shallalahu 'Alaihi Wasallam said: "Between the two calls to prayer there is a prayer -he said up to three times- for those who wish." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 5th Hadith. God willing God willing مُغَفَّلٍ قَالَكَانَ أَبُونَا إِذَا سَمِعَ أَحَدًا مِنَّا God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing love مِنْهُمْ يَقُولُ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ. Has told us [Yahya bin Sa'id] from [Uthman bin Ghiyats]; has told me [Abu Na'amah] from [Ibnu Abdullah bin Al Mughaffal] he said; "When [our father] heard one of us reciting "BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHIIM," he said; "ihi...ihi..., I have prayed behind Rasulullah Shallalahu 'Alaihi Wasallam, Abu Bakr and Umar, but I did not hear from any of them reciting "BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHIIM." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 6th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing غَيْرِهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنْ الرَّهْطْ God bless you God willing God willing love الْمَوْتِ قَالَ لَا وَلَكِنْ لَا تَفِرُّوا. Has told us [Waki'], has told us [Abu Ja'far Ar Razi] from [Rabi' bin Anas] from [Abu 'Aliyah] or others from [Abdullah bin Mughaffal] - he is one of the people who revealed this verse to them, namely; "WALAA 'ALAL LADZIINA IDZA MAA ORKA LITAHMILAHUM (And there is no sin on those who, when they come to you, ask you to give them a vehicle)." (QS At Taubah: 92) until the end of the verse, Abdullah bin Mughaffal said; "Indeed, I once took a branch of a tree to use as a shade for the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam and his companions when they pledged allegiance to him, then they said: "Do we pledge allegiance to you to die." He said: "However (take allegiance) not to run away." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 7th Hadith. God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing مِنْهَا كُلَّ أَسْوَدَ بَهِيمٍ قَالَ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ يَا God willing حَدَّثَنِيهْ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَكَذَا وَلَقَدْ حَدَّثَنَا فِي ذَلِكَ الْمَجْلِسِ. Having told us [Waki'] from [Abu Sufyan bin 'Ala`] he said; "I heard [Al Hasan] tell that Rasulullah Sallalahu 'Alaihi Wasallam said: "If the dogs were not part of the Ummah (of animals), I would have ordered you to kill them, therefore kill the jet black ones." Sufyan said; "Then someone asked Al Hasan; "O Abu Sa'id, from whom did you hear this hadith? Tell me!" Then [Abdullah bin Mughaffal] swore that it was from the Prophet sallallaahu 'Alaihi Wasallam so and so, indeed two of them had told us in that assembly." (Degree: authentic. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. اللَّهَ اللَّهَ فِي أَصْحَابِي لَا تَتَّخِذُوهُمْ غَرَضًا God bless you God willing God willing وَتَعَالَى وَمَنْ آذَى اللَّهَ فَيُوشِكُ أَنْ يَأْخُذَهُحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَوْنٍ الْخَرَّان God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing رَائِطَةَ بِمِثْلِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ. Has told us [Sa'ad bin Ibrahim bin Sa'ad], has told us ['Abidah bin Abu Ra`ithah Al Hadza` At Tamimi], he said; has told me [Abdurrahman bin Ziyad] or Abdurrahman bin Abdullah from [Abdullah bin Mughaffal Al Muzani] he said; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'Alaihi Wasallam said: "Fear Allah towards my companions, fear Allah towards my companions, do not make them targets (of insults and insults) after my death, whoever loves them then with my love I also love them (who loves friends), and whoever hates them, then with my hatred I also hate them (those who hate the companions), and whoever hurts them means he has hurt me and whoever whoever hurts me means he has hurt Allah Tabaraka Wata'ala, and whoever hurts Allah, then Allah almost tortures him." Has told us [Abdullah bin 'Aun Al Kharraz] has told us [Ibrahim bin Sa'ad] from ['Abidah bin Abu Ra`ithah] like the above hadith." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 9th Hadith. God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing God willing God willing كَرَاهِيَةَ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَهَا النَّاسُ سُنَّةً. It has been told to us [Abdussamad], it has been told to me [my father] and it has been told to us [Al Hasan] and [Affan], it has been told to us [Abdul Warits], it has been told to us [Husain], it has been told to us [Abdullah bin Buraidah] from [Abdullah Al Muzani] that Rasulullah sallallaahu 'Alaihi Wasallam said: "Pray (sunnah) two rak'ahs before Maghrib." then he said: "Perform two rak'ah (sunnah) prayers before Maghrib." Then the third time he said: "For whoever wishes." Because it is feared that people will think of it as a habit." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 10th Hadith. God willing حُسَيْنٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْن God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. هِيَ الْعِشَاءُ. Has told us [Abdussamad], has told us [My father] has told us [Al Husain] from [Abdullah bin Buraidah] has told me [Abdullah Al Muzani] that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'Alaihi Wasallam said: "Do not be fooled by the Bedouins when they say the Maghrib prayer," the Narrator said; Bedouin people usually call it the Isha prayer." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 11th Hadith. God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing نَعَامَةَأَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مُغَفَّلٍ سَمِعَ ابْنَهُ may Allah bless him and give him peace God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you الدُّعَاءِ وَالطَّهُورِ. Has told us [Abdussamad] and ['Affan] both said; has told us [Hammad bin Salamah] from [Al Jurairi], - ['Affan] said in his hadith; has reported to me [Al Jurairi] - from [Abu Na'amah] that [Abdullah bin Mughaffal] heard his son say; 'ALLAHUMMA INNI AS`ALUKA QASHRA' ABYADH 'AN YAMINIL JANNAH, IDZA DAKHALTUHA (O Allah, I ask for a white palace from the right side of heaven when I enter it).' Then he said to his son; 'O my son, ask Allah Tabaraka Wa Ta'ala for heaven and seek refuge in Him from hell, because I heard the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say: 'There will be a people who are excessive in prayer and purification.' (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 12th Hadith. God bless you God willing أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَسَلَّمَ فَشَهِدُوا أَنَّهُمْ رَأَوْهُ بِالْأَمْسِ يَعْنُونَ الْهِلَالَ فَأَمَرَهُمْ أَنْ يُفْطِرُوا وَأَنا مِنْ الْغَدِقَالَ شُعْبَةُ أُرَاهُ مِنْ آخِرِ النَّهَارِ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Ja'far], has told us [Syu'bah] from [Abu Bisyr] from [Abu Umair bin Anas] from [most of the companions of the Prophet] sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, that a group of people came to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, then they testified that yesterday they saw the hilal (crescent moon), then he told the people to break their fast and that the next day they would come out (to pray). ied)." Syu'bah said; "I thought it was at the end of the afternoon." (Degree: sahih. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 13th Hadith. God bless you God willing لَهُ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ سَلَّمَعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ God bless you God willing يُوَاظِبُ عَلَيْهِمَا. It has been told to us [Muhammad bin Ja'far], it has been told to us [Syu'bah] from [Abu Bisyr] from [Abu Umair bin Anas] from [some of the Prophet's companions] sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam that he said: "Hypocrites will not attend both Fajr and Isha prayers." [Abu Bisyr] said (with redaction); "Not getting used to either." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 14th Hadith. God bless you وَحَجَّاجٌ قَالَا أَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ عَنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God God willing God bless you حَجَّاجٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ or وَرَجُلًا مِنْ قَوْمِهِ وَقَالَ حَجَّاجٌ وَأَصْلِحُوا. Has told us [Muhammad bin Ja'far], has told us [Syu'bah] -and [Hajjaj]; both said; has told us [Syu'bah] - from [Abu Bisyr] from [Sallam bin 'Amr] from [one of the Prophet's companions] sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam he said: "Do good to your brothers, or improve (relationships) with them and help them with something you can and help them with something that befalls them." [Hajjaj] said in his hadith; "I heard [Sallam bin Amr] and [one of] his people, and [Hajjaj] say; "And repair (the relationship)." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 15th Hadith. God bless you مَطَرٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنَ God willing نَعَامٍ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَكَسَرَ بَيْضَهَا فَانْطَلَقَ إِلَى God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيـ God willing God bless you. Has told us [Muhammad bin Ja'far], has told us [Sa'id] from [Mathar] from [Mu'awiyah bin Qurrah] from [a man from the Ansar] that a man who was driving his camel in a place where animals usually lay eggs, while he was in a state of ihram, he accidentally broke an animal's egg, then he went to Ali radiallahu 'anhu and asked him about it, then Ali answered; "You have to replace each egg with a camel fetus or camel calf, then he went to Rasulullah Shallalahu 'Alaihi Wasallam and told him about it, then Rasulullah Shallalahu 'Alaihi Wasallam said: "Ali has answered as you have heard, but come here to relieve you, you have to replace each egg by fasting or feeding the poor." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 16th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing قَالَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ النَّبِيُّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَالشَّهِيدُ فِي God willing الْجَنَّةِ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Ja'far], has told us ['Auf] from [Hasna`] one of the women from Bani Shuraim from [his uncle] he said; I heard Rasulullah Shallalahu 'Alaihi Wasallam say: "The Prophets will be in Heaven, the martyrs will be in Heaven, babies born will be in Heaven and people who are buried alive will be in Heaven." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 17th Hadith. God willing God willing الْأَنْصَارِ مِنْ أَصْحَابْ God willing فَأَصْبَحْنَا صِيَامًا فَجَاءَ رَكْبٌ مِنْ آخِرِ النَّهَارِ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُمْ رَأَوْا الْهِلَالَ بِالْأَمْسَ رَسُولُ اللَّهْ يُفْطِرُوا مِنْ يَوْمِهِمْ وَأَنْ يَخْرُجُوا لِعِيدِهِمْ مِنْ الْغَدِ. Has told us [Husyaim], has told us [Abu Bisyr] from [Abu Umair bin Anas], has told me [most of the Ansar friends] from the companions of Rasulullah Sallalahu 'Alaihi Wasallam that he said; "The moon of Shawwal was covered by clouds, so we fasted, then a driver at the end of the afternoon came and testified before Rasulullah Shallalahu 'Alaihi Wasallam that yesterday they had witnessed the new moon, then Rasulullah Shallalahu 'Alaihi Wasallam told the people to break their fast that day, and that the next day they would go out for the Eid." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 18th Hadith. God willing God bless you God bless you God willing God willing وَالْمَوْلُودُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَالْمَوْءُودَةُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ. Has told us [Ishaq namely Al `Azraq], has told us ['Auf], has told me [Hasna` bint Mu'awiyah Ash Shuraimiyyah] from [her Uncle] he said; I said; "O Rasulullah, who is in heaven?" The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "The Prophets will be in Heaven, people who die as martyrs will be in Heaven, babies born will be in Heaven and people who are buried alive will be in Heaven." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 19th hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing عَبْدِ اللَّهْ God willing قَالَكَانَ بِالْكُوفَةِ أَمِيرٌ قَالَ فَخَطَبَ يَوْمًا فَقَالَ إِنَّ فِي إِعْطَاءِ هَذَا الْمَالِ فِتْنَةً وَفِي إِمْسَاكِهَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. ثُمَّ نَزَلَ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Ja'far], has told us [Syu'bah] he said; I heard [Ishaq bin Suwaid] say; I heard [Mutharrif bin Abdullah bin Syikhkhir] tell a story from [one of the Prophet's companions] sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said; "Once in Kufa there was a governor," he continued; "One day, the governor gave a sermon and said; "Indeed, giving this property is a fitnah (test) and keeping it is also a fitnah, that's why the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam stood up in his sermon, until he finished and came down from the pulpit." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 20th hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing أَعْرَابِيٍّ أَم اللَّهُ عَلَيْهْ Has told us [Muhammad bin Ja'far], has told us [Syu'bah] he said; I heard [Humaid bin Hilal] tell [Mutharrif] from [a Bedouin] that he saw the Prophet sallallaahu 'Alaihi Wasallam wearing sandals that were patched (stitched)." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 21st Hadith. God bless you God bless you God willing God bless you ظَهْرِ بَيْتٍ فَيُحَدِّثَ النَِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. أَعْظَمُ قَالَ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ{ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ God bless you قَالَ فَوَجَدْتُ بَرْدَهَا بَيْنَ ثَدْيَيَّ أَوْ قَالَ فَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ بَيْنَ ثَدْيَيَّ فَوَجَدْتُ بَرْدَهَا بَيْم كَتِفَيَّ قَالَ يَهْنِكَ يَا أَبَا الْمُنْذِرِ الْعِلْمَ الْعِلْمَ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Ja'far] has told us [Uthman bin Ghiyats], he said; I heard [Abu As Salil] say; [One of the companions of the Prophet] sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam conveyed the hadith to the crowd so that many people gathered around him, then he climbed onto the roof of the house and conveyed the hadith to the people, he said; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'Alaihi Wasallam said: "What is the greatest verse in the Qur'an?" The Prophet's companion said; "Then one of the men answered: "Allaahu laa ilaaha illaa huwal hayyul qoyyuum" he said again; "then he put his hand between my shoulders, he said; "Then I felt cold between my chest." or he said; "Then he put his hand between my chest, so I felt the cold between my shoulders," then he said; "Blessed are you, O [Abul Mundzir], that is knowledge, that is knowledge." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 22nd Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you فَرَآهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ مَا هَذَا قَالَ إِنَّهُ نَذْرٌ فَأَمَرَ بِالْقِرَانِ أَنْ يُقْطَعَ. Has told us [Husyaim] has told us [Ibn 'Aun] has told us [a man] from the village of [his father] from [his grandfather] that he once performed the Hajj accompanied by his relatives, then the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam saw him and he asked: "What is this?" he answered; "This is Nadzar," then he ordered to decide (return) the people accompanying him." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 23rd Hadith. God bless you God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings كُلَّ سُورَةٍ حَظَّهَا مِنْ الرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِ. It has been told to us [Abu Mu'awiyah] and ['Abdah], both of them said; has related to us ['Ashim] from [Abu 'Aliyah] he said; has told me [a person who heard the Prophet] sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam that he said: "Give every letter its due from Ruku' and prostrate." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 24th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings رَدِيفَهُ عَلَى حِمَارٍ فَعَثَرَ الْحِمَارُ فَقُلْتُ تَعِسَ الشَّيْطَانُ فَقَالَ لِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing فَإِنَّكَ إِذَا قُلْتَ تَعِسَ الشَّيْطَانُ تَعَمَ God willing فَإِذَا قُلْتَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ تَصَاغَرَتْ إِلَيْهِ نَفْسُهُ حَتَّى يَكُونَ أَصْغَرَ مِنْ ذُبَابٍ. He has told us [Abdurrazaq], he has told us [Ma'mar] from ['Ashim] from [Abu Tamimah Al Hujaimi] from [the person who once rode with the Prophet] sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said; "I once carried him on a donkey, then the donkey slipped, so I said; "Woe to Satan," Then the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said to me: "Do not say woe to Satan, because if you say woe to Satan, Satan will boast. He said: "Just stay here, later we will take care of your burden or I will just help you." Then Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "O Qabishah, begging is not halal except for one of three people, namely; First, a person who has dependents (debts) which makes him forced to ask so that he can pay off his debts, then he restrains himself (does not ask), second, a person who is pressured by limitations (bankruptcy) which causes his wealth to run out so he is forced to ask until he obtains life support or a solution to life, then he restrains himself (does not ask), and third, someone who truly oppressed by poverty or urgent need, so that he is forced to ask, until he obtains life support or a solution to life, then he restrains himself, as for begging other than for these three reasons, O Qabishah, it is a sin that is consumed by the perpetrator." I answered; "I am getting older, my bones are starting to become brittle, so I came to you so that you can teach me something that is useful for me to Allah Azza Wa Jalla." He then said: "O Qabishah, you will not pass by a rock or a tree or a village, but they will ask forgiveness for you, O Qabishah, when you (finish) performing the Fajr prayer, then read three times "subhaanallaahal 'adziim wa bihamdihi (Glory be to Allah, the Most Great, and all praise be to You)" surely you will be protected from blindness, leprosy and stroke, O Qabishah read "Allaahumma innii as'aluka mimmaa 'indaka wa afidl 'alaiya min fadlika wansyur 'alaiya rahmataka wa anzil 'alaiya min barakaatika." (O Allah, truly I ask You whatever is with You, grant me Your mercy, pour out Your mercy on me and send down Your blessings on me)." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 35th Hadith. Abu Abdurrahman said; I heard my father say; 'It is not true to tell this hadith other than Waki', namely that this hadith is gharib. Has told us [Isma'il], has told us [Ayyub] from [Humaid bin Hilal] from someone, [Ayyub] said; I think he is [Khalid bin 'Umair], he said; I heard [Utbah bin Ghazwan] preach and he mentioned this hadith, he said; "We were with the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam for seven consecutive days."
