Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God willing God willing اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَمَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ صَبْرًا يَسْتَحِقُّ بِهَا مَالًا وَهُوَ فِيهَا فَاجِرٌ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ غَضْبَانُ وَإِنَّ تَصْدِيقَهَا لَفِي الْقُرْآنِ{ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَشْتَرُونَ بِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ وَأَيْمَانِهِمْ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا }إِلَى آخِرِ الْآيَةِ قَالَ فَخَرَجَ الْأَشْعَثُ وَهُوَ يَقْرَؤُهَا قَالَ فِيَّ أُنْزِلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ إِنَّ رَجُلًِ God bless you وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ شَاهِدَاكَ أَوْ يَمِينُهُ فَقُلْتُ أَمَا God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings يَسْتَحِقُّ بِهَا مَالًا لَقِيَ اللَّهَ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ غَضْبَانُ. Has told us [Ziyad bin Abdullah bin Ath Thufail Al Bakka`i] has told us [Mansur] from [Syaqiq] from [Abdullah bin Mas'ud], he said: 'Whoever swears by force to obtain wealth while he lies, will meet Allah in a state of anger towards him. The justification for this is in the Qur'an: "Indeed, those who buy Allah's promises and their oaths for a small price..." until the end of the verse. Then [Al Asy'ats] came out and he read it, he said: It is with regard to me that this verse was revealed. There used to be someone who admitted to my well, we then disputed it in front of Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam, he asked: What is your proof is your two witnesses or their oath. I said: If he swears it must be a lie. The Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam said: "Whoever swears by force to obtain a property, he will meet Allah in a state of anger towards him." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 2nd hadith. God willing قَالَدَخَلَ الْأَشْعَثُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ فَقَالَ مَا يُحَدِّثُكُمْ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَِ God bless you God willing God bless you فَيَمِينُهُ قَالَ قُلْتُ إِذَنْ يَحْلِفَ قَالَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God يَمِينٍ صَبْرًا لِيَقْتَطِعَ بِهَا مَالَ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ وَهُوَ فِيهَا فَاجِرٌ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ غَضْبَانُ قَالَ فَنَزَلَتْ( يَشْتَرُونَ بِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ وَأَيْمَانِهِمْ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا }. Having told us [Waki'] had told us [Al A'masy] from [Abu Wa`il], he said: [Al Asy'ats] came in and asked: What did [Abu 'Abdur Rahman] tell you? They told him and Al Ash'ats said: He is right, it was regarding me that the verse was revealed. In the past, someone and I had a dispute over a piece of land. I disputed it before the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam. Then he asked: 'Do you have proof.' I answered: No. The Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam said: "It means the oath." I said: Then he must swear. Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam said: "Whoever swears by force to obtain the property of a muslim while he is lying, he will meet Allah Azza wa Jalla in a state of anger towards him." Then came the verse: "Those who buy Allah's promises and their oaths for a small price..." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 3rd Hadith. God bless you God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ كَاذِبًا لِيَقْتَطِعَ بِهَا مَالَ رَجُلٍ أَوْ قَالَ أَخِيهِ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ غَضْبَانُ وَأُنْزِلَ تَصْدِيقُ ذَلِكَ فِي الْقُرْآنِ{ God bless you God willing God bless you مَا حَدَّثَكُمْ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ الْيَوْمَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لَهُ كَذَا وَكَذَا قَالَ فِيَّ أُنْزِلَتْ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Ja'far] has told us [Syu'bah] from [Sulaiman] from [Abu Wa'il] from [Abdullah] from the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam, that he said: "Whoever swears falsely to obtain someone's property -or says: his brother- will meet Allah AzzaWaJalla in a state of anger towards him." Then a verse came down to justify this: "Those who buy Allah's promises and their oaths for a small price, they will have no share in the hereafter..." up to "A painful punishment." He (Abu Wa`il) said: then Al Asy'ats met me and asked: What did Abdullah say today? he answered: Like this and that. He ([Al Asy'ats]) Said: It was with regard to me that the verse was revealed. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 4th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings مُسْلِمِ بْنِ هَيْضَمٍ عَنِ الْأَشْعَثِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَأَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي وَفْدٍ مِنْ كِنْدَةَ قَالَ عَفَّانُ لَا God bless you God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. كِنَانَةَ لَا نَقْفُو أُمَّنَا وَلَا نَنْتَفِي مِنْ God willing God willing جَلَدْتُهُ الْحَدَّ. Has told us [Bahz] and [Affan] both said: Has told us [Hammad bin Salamah] has told us [Aqil bin Thalhah], -in the Affan hadith: Has told us Aqil bin Thalhah Al Sulami- from [Muslim bin Haidham] from [Al Asy'ats bin Qais], he said: I came to Rasulullah Sallallahu'alaihi wasallam with a group of Beautiful. They considered me as an honorable person among them. I said: O Messenger of Allah! We are sure that you are among our group. Rasulullah Sallallahu'alaihiwasallam said: "We are descendants of Bani An Nadhr bin Kinanah, we do not follow our mothers but do not deny our fathers. Al Asy'ath said: No one was brought to me who disowned the Quraysh from An Nadhr bin Kinanah but I would definitely whip him. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 5th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. مَنْ لَا يَشْكُرُ النَّاسَ. It has been told to us by [Muhammad bin Fudhail] from [Ibnu Syubrumah] from [Abu Ma'syar] from [Al Asy'ats bin Qais] that he said the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "No one will be grateful to Allah who is not grateful to humans." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 6th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ اقْتَطَعَ مَالَ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ God bless you God bless you أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنّ God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing لِي فِي يَدِهِ فَجَحَدَنِي فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهْ وَإِلَّا فَيَمِينُهُ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا لِي God willing God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings مُسْلِمٍ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَهُوَ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing, God willing, God willing بِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ }الْآيَةَ. Has told us [Yahya bin Adam] has told us [Abu Bakr bin 'Ayyasy] from ['Ashim bin Abu An Najud] from [Syaqiq bin Salamah] from [Abdullah bin Mas'ud], three hadiths, he said: Rasulullah shallallahu'alaihiwasallam said: "Whoever takes the property of a muslim wrongly, he meets Allah AzzaWaJalla in a state of anger towards him." [Al Asy'ats] came and said: What did Abu 'Abdur Rahman tell you? He (Ibn Mas'ud) said: We told him. He (Al Asy'ats) said: This hadith concerns me. I had a dispute with my cousin in front of Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam about a well that he owned, he denied me, then Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam said: "Where is your proof that it is your well, if not then it is an oath." He (Al Asy'ats) said: O Messenger of Allah! What do I have to do with his oath, if you decide based on his oath, my well will disappear, in fact my partner is a liar. He (Al Asy'ats) said: Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam said: "Whoever takes the property of a muslim wrongly, he will meet Allah AzzaWaJalla in a state of anger towards him." Then the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam read the verse: "Indeed, those who buy Allah's promise..." and so on. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 7th Hadith. God willing God bless you قَيْسٍأَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ كِنْدَةَ وَرَجُلًا مِنْ حَضْرَمَوْتَ God willing وَسَلَّمَ فِي أَرْضٍ بِالْيَمَنِ فَقَالَ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ يَا God bless you God willing أَبِي فَقَالَ الْحَضْرَمِيُِ God willing وَالِدِي وَالَّذِي اغْتَصَبَهَا أَبُوهُ فَتَهَيَّأَ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing يَلْقَاهُ وَهُوَ أَجْذَمُ فَقَالَ الْكِنْدِيُّ هِيَ أَرْضُهُ وَأَرْضُ وَالِدِهِ. Has told us [Abdullah bin Numair] has told us [Al Harith bin Sulaiman] has told us [Kurdus] from [Al Asy'ats bin Qais] that someone from Kindah and another person from Hadhramaut disputed a land in Yemen in the presence of Rasulullah sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam The people of Hadhramaut said: O Messenger of Allah! My land was taken by this man and his father. The Kindah people said: O Messenger of Allah! This is my land that I inherited from my father. The people of Hadhramaut said: O Messenger of Allah! ask him to swear that he did not know that it was my land and my father's land that was taken by his father. The Kindah people were getting ready to swear an oath then Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam said: "No servant or person gets any wealth by his oath, unless he meets Allah on the day he meets Him with his hand cut off." Then the Kindah people said: That is his land and his father's land. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 8th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. رَسُولَ اللَّهْ يَقُولُ يَمْسَحُ الْمُسَافِرُ عَلَى الْخُفَِ لَيَالٍ وَالْمُقِيمُ يَوْمًا وَلَيْلَةً. Has told us [Isma'il] has told us [Hisyam Ad-Dustuwa`i] has told us [Hammad] from [Ibrahim] from [Abu Abdullah Al Jadali] from [Khuzaimah bin Thabit] that the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam said: "People who travel wipe their shoes for three nights and people who settle down wipe their shoes for a day and a night." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 9th Hadith. مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَابْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ قَالَا God willing God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَلَيْلَةٌ لِلْمُقِيمِ وَثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهُنَّ لِلْمُسَافِرِ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Ja'far] and [Ibn Mahdi], both of them said: Has told us [Syu'bah] from [Al Hakam] and [Hammad] from [Ibrahim] from [Abu Abdullah Al Jadali] from [Khuzaimah bin Tsabit] from the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam, he said about washing shoes: "One night for those who live and three days and three nights for those who travel." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 10th Hadith. Has told us [Abu Mu'awiyah] has told us [Al Hajjaj] from [Amr bin Syu'aib] from [Harami bin Abdullah] from [Khuzaimah bin Thabit Al Absi], he said: Rasulullah sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam said: "Allah is not ashamed of the truth, do not engage in intercourse with your wives in their anus." Has told us [Ibn Abi Za`idah] has told us [Al Hajjaj] from [Amr bin Syu'aib] from [Harami bin Abdullah] from [Khuzaimah bin Thabit] from the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam, a similar hadith. Has told us [Muhammad bin Bisyr] has told us [Hisyam bin Urwah] from [Amr bin Khuzaimah] from [Umaroh bin Khuzaimah] from [Khuzaimah bin Thabit Al Ansari] that the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam mentioned about cleaning oneself after defecating and then said: "Three stones that have no dirt." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 12th Hadith. God willing مَنْصُورٌ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ التَّيْمِيُّ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing وَلَوْ اسْتَزَدْنَاهُ لَزَادَنَا. Has told us [Abu Abdush Shamad Al Ammi] has told us [Mansur] has told us [Ibrahim bin Yazid Al Taimi] from [Amr bin Maimun] from [Abu Abdullah Al Jadali] from [Khuzaimah bin Thabit Al Ansari] that Rasulullah sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam said: "Wash shoes for three days and if we ask Him for more, He will surely give him." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 13th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ فَرَخَّصَ لِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيَهُنَّ وَالْمُقِيمِ يَوْمًا وَلَيْلَةًقَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ قَالَ God willing لِلْمُقِيمِ وَلَوْ أَطْنَبَ السَّائِلُ فِي مَسْأَلَتِهِ لَزَادَهُمْ. Having told us [Sufyan] from [Mansur] from [Ibrahim At Taimi] from [Amr bin Maimun] from [Abu Abdullah Al Jadali], he heard it told from [Khuzaimah bin Thabit]: We asked Rasulullah sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam about washing shoes, then he gave relief to travelers for three days and three nights, and to those who stayed for a day and a night. Abdullah said: my father said: I heard it from Sufyan twice mentioning people who live. If the questioner had extended his questions, he would have added to them. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 14th Hadith. God willing عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنْ وَخُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ وَأُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ قَالُواقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ God bless you فَإِذَا وَقَعَ بِأَرْضٍ وَأَنْتُمْ بِهَا فَلَا تَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا وَإِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ بِهِ بِأَرْضٍ فَلَا تَدْخُلُوا عَلَيْهِ. It has been told to us [Waki'] from [Sufyan] from [Habib bin Thabit] from [Ibrahim bin Sa'ad] from [Sa'ad bin Malik], [Khuzaimah bin Thabit] and [Usamah bin Zaid], they said: Rasulullah sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam said: "Tha'un is dirt or punishment, with which a group of people is tortured, if it happens in a place while you are there then Don't leave it and if you hear that something is happening somewhere, don't enter it." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 15th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ حَمَِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلَاثًا وَلِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمًا وَلَيْلَةً. Having told us [Waki'] from [Sufyan] from [Hammad] and [Mansur] from [Ibrahim] from [Abu Abdullah Al Jadali] from [Khuzaimah bin Thabit], he said: Rasulullah Sallallahu'alaihiwasallam gave three days for the traveler and one day and one night for the resident (regarding wiping shoes). (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 16th Hadith. God bless you God willing قَمَارَةَ بْنَ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ God willing فِي مَنَامِهِ أَنَّهُ يُقَبِّلُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرَهُ بِذَلِكَ فَنَاوَلَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَبَّلَ جَبْهَتَهَ Has told us [Muhammad bin Ja'far] has told us [Syu'bah] has told me [Abu Ja'far Al Madini Al Khathmi], he said: I heard [Umaroh bin 'Uthman bin Sahal bin Hunaif] tell from [Khuzaimah bin Thabit] that he dreamed of kissing the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam then he went to the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam and told him the dream, then the Prophet Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam gave him his forehead then he kissed him. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 17th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرْتُ بِذَلِكَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ إِنَِ God willing وَسَلَّمَ رَأْسَهُ هَكَذَا فَوَضَعَ جَبْهَتَةُ God bless you. Has told us [Affan] has told us [Hammad bin Salamah] has told us [Abu Ja'far Al Hathmi] from [Umarah bin Khuzaimah bin Thabit] that [his father] said: I dreamed of prostrating on the forehead of the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam, then I told this to Rasulullah sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam. Then he said: "Indeed the soul does not meet the spirit." Then the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam put his face into his clothes like this then Umaroh put his forehead on the forehead of the Prophet sallallahu'alaihiwasallam (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 18th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَابْنَةَ أَبِي بَشِيرٍ يُحَدِّثَانِ عَنْ أَبِيهِمَاعَنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing جَهَنَّمَ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Ja'far] has told us [Syu'bah] from [Habib Al Anshori], he said: I heard [Ibn Abi Basyir] and [Abu Basyir's daughter] tell from their [father] from the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam, he said about fever: "Cool it with water and verily it is from the breath of Hell Jahannam." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 19th hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing قُطِعَتْ قَالَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ وَأَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ وَالنَّاسُ فِي صِيَامِهِمْ. It has been told to us [Rouh] and [Isma'il bin Umar] from [Malik] from [Abdullah bin Abu Bakr] from ['Abbad bin Tamim] that [Abu Basyir Al Ansari] told him that he had been with Rasulullah Sallallahu'alaihiwasallam on one of his journeys, then Rasulullah Sallallahu'alaihiwasallam sent a messenger to say that there was no necklace on the camel's neck. from bowstrings and not other necklaces unless they have to be cut. Said Isma'il: -I think- the narrator said: And the people were fasting. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 20th hadith. Allah's blessings God bless you عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدْ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing God bless you اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ تَأَخَّرِي فَرَجَعَتْ حَتَّى صَلَّى ثُمَّ مَرَّتْ. Has told us [Ali bin Ishak] has told us [Abdullah] has told us [Ibn Lahi'ah] has told me [Habban bin Wasi] from [his father] from [Abdullah bin Zaid] and [Abu Basyir Al Ansari] that Rasulullah sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam once prayed with them one night, then a woman passed by Batha', then Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam motioned to the woman to stop walking. The woman stopped walking until Rasulullah Sallallahu'alaihiwasallam finished praying. After that he continued his journey. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 21st Hadith. God bless you وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ هَارُونَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing نَافِعٍ قَالَرَآنِي أَبُو بَشِيرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ صَاحِبُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّّ God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you الشَّيْطَانِ. Has told us about Harun bin Ma'ruf. Abdullah said: I heard it from [Harun], he said: Has told us [Abdullah] has told me [Mahramah] from [his father] from [Sa'id bin Nafi'], he said: [Abu Basyir], a friend of Rasulullah sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam saw me during midday prayer at sunrise, then he criticized me for it then said: Rasulullah sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam said: "You must not pray until the sun rises because the sun rises between the two horns of Satan." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 22nd Hadith. God bless you God willing قَالَ هَلْ جَامَعْتَهَا قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَأَمَرَ بِهِ أَنْ يُرْجَمَ قَالَ فَأُخْرِجَ بِهِ إِلَى الْحَرَّةِ فَلَمَّا رُجِمَ فَوَجَدَ مَسَّ الْحِجَارَةِ جَزَعَ فَخَرَجَ يَشْتَدُّ God bless you God bless you فَقَتَلَهُ قَالَ ثُمَّ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ God bless you تَرَكْتُمُوهُ لَعَلَّهَ God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace God bless you هَزَّالُ لَوْ كُنْتَ سَتَرْتَهُ بِثَوْبِكَ كَانَ خَيْرًا مِمَّا صَنَعْتَ بِهِ. Has told us [Waki'] has told us [Hisyam bin Sa'ad] has told me [Yazid bin Nu'aim bin Hazzal] from [his father], he said: Ma'iz bin Malik was once in my upbringing then he had sex with a village slave girl, my father then said to him: Come to Rasulullah Sallallahu'alaihiwasallam, and tell him what you have done, hopefully he will ask for forgiveness for you. My father wanted that because he hoped there was a way out. Ma'iz came to Rasulullah sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam and said: O Rasulullah! I have committed adultery, so Allah's decision will be enforced on me. Rasulullah sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam turned away from him then Ma'iz came to him again and said: O Rasulullah! I have committed adultery, so Allah's decision will be enforced on me. Then Ma'iz came to him for the third time. Then Ma'iz came again for the fourth time and said: O Messenger of Allah! I have committed adultery, so Allah's decision will be enforced on me. Then the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam said: "You have said it four times, then with whom?" Ma'iz answered: With Fulanah. Rasulullah sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam asked: "Did you sleep with her?" Ma'iz answered: Yes. Rasulullah Sallallahu'alaihiwasallam asked: "Are you having sex with her?" Ma'iz answered: Yes. The Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam asked: "Did you have sex with her?" Ma'iz answered: Yes. Then the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam ordered Ma'iz to be stoned. Ma'iz was removed to sandless land. When he was sentenced to stoning and felt the impact of stones, Ma'iz was afraid and ran away and was caught by Abdullah bin Unais. He had exhausted his friends, then Abdullah took off the camel's hooves and threw them at Ma'iz, killing him. After that he went to the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam and informed him of this, the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam said: "Why don't you let him, hopefully he will repent so that Allah will accept his repentance." Hisham said: Yazid bin Nu'aim bin Hazzal told me from his father, that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam said to my father when he saw him: "By Allah, O Hazzal, if you covered him with your clothes, it would be better than what you did to him." Hadits ke-23. حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ يَزِيدَ الْعَطَّارَ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ هَزَّالٍأَنَّ هَزَّالًا كَانَ اسْتَأْجَرَ مَاعِزَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ وَكَانَتْ لَهُ جَارِيَةٌ يُقَالُ لَهَا فَاطِمَةُ قَدْ أُمْلِكَتْ وَكَانَتْ تَرْعَى غَنَمًا لَهُمْ وَإِنَّ مَاعِزًا وَقَعَ عَلَيْهَا فَأَخْبَرَ هَزَّالًا فَخَدَعَهُ فَقَالَ انْطَلِقْ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبِرْهُ عَسَى أَنْ يَنْزِلَ فِيكَ قُرْآنٌ فَأَمَرَ بِهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَرُجِمَ فَلَمَّا عَضَّتْهُ مَسُّ الْحِجَارَةِ انْطَلَقَ يَسْعَى فَاسْتَقْبَلَهُ رَجُلٌ بِلَحْيِ جَزُورٍ أَوْ سَاقِ بَعِيرٍ فَضَرَبَهُ بِهِ فَصَرَعَهُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَيْلَكَ يَا هَزَّالُ لَوْ كُنْتَ سَتَرْتَهُ بِثَوْبِكَ كَانَ خَيْرًا لَكَ. Telah bercerita kepada kami [Affan] telah bercerita kepada kami [Aban bin Yazid Al 'Atthar] telah bercerita kepadaku [Yahya bin Abu Katsir] dari [Abu Salamah bin 'Abdur Rahman] dari [Nu'aim bin Hazzal]; Hazzal pernah menyewa Ma'iz bin Malik dan ia memiliki seorang budak wanita bernama Fathimah yang ia miliki, budak wanita ini bertugas menggembala kambing milik mereka dan Ma'iz menyetubuhinya. Ma'iz memberitahukan hal itu kepada Hazzal kemudian Hazzal mengelabuhinya dan berkata: Pergilah ke Nabi Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam dan beritahukan pada beliau, mudah-mudahan turun Al Qur`an berkenaan denganmu. Kemudian Nabi Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam memerintahkan agar dirajam. Saat dirajam dan terkena hantaman batu, Ma'iz berusaha kabur kemudian seseorang mengejarnya dengan membawa tulang dagu unta atau tulang betis unta kemudian dipukulkan ke Ma'iz hingga mati. Setelah itu Nabi Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam bersabda: "Celaka kau hai Hazzal, andai kau tutupi dengan bajumu tentu lebih baik bagimu." (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Musnad Ahmad.) Hadits ke-24. حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ نُعَيْمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِأَنَّ مَاعِزَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ أَقِمْ عَلَيَّ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ أَرْبَعَ مَرَّاتٍ ثُمَّ أَمَرَ بِرَجْمِهِ فَلَمَّا مَسَّتْهُ الْحِجَارَةُ قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ وَقَالَ مَرَّةً فَلَمَّا عَضَّتْهُ الْحِجَارَةُ أَجْزَعَ فَخَرَجَ يَشْتَدُّ وَخَرَجَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أُنَيْسٍ أَوْ أَنَسُ بْنُ نَادِيَةَ فَرَمَاهُ بِوَظِيفِ حِمَارٍ فَصَرَعَهُ فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَحَدَّثَهُ بِأَمْرِهِ فَقَالَ هَلَّا تَرَكْتُمُوهُ لَعَلَّهُ أَنْ يَتُوبَ فَيَتُوبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا هَزَّالُ لَوْ سَتَرْتَهُ بِثَوْبِكَ كَانَ خَيْرًا لَكَ. Telah bercerita kepada kami ['Abdur Rahman bin Mahdi] dari [Sufyan] dari [Zaid bin Aslam] dari [Yazid bin Nu'aim] dari [ayahnya] bahwa Ma'iz bin Malik mendatangi Nabi Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam dan berkata: "Tegakkan putusan Allah padaku." Nabi Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam berpaling darinya empat kali kemudian setelah itu beliau memerintahkan agar Ma'iz dihukum rajam. Saat Malik terkena hantaman batu -'Abdur Rahman kadang berkata- dan saat batu menghantamnya, ia takut kemudian melarikan diri. Abdullah bin Unais atau Unais bin Nadiyah mengejarnya kemudian melemparnya dengan kaki keledai hingga roboh. Kemudian ia mendatangi Nabi Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam dan menceritakan perihalnya, Nabi Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam bersabda: "Kenapa tidak kau biarkan saja dia, mudah-mudahan ia bertaubat lalu Allah menerima taubatnya?." Setelah itu Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam bersabda: "Hai Hazzal! Andai kau menutupinya dengan bajumu tentu lebih baik bagimu." (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Musnad Ahmad.) Hadits ke-25. حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ هَزَّالٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِأَنَّ مَاعِزَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ كَانَ فِي حِجْرِهِ قَالَ فَلَمَّا فَجَرَ قَالَ لَهُ ائْتِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبِرْهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَهُ وَلَقِيَهُ يَا هَزَّالُ أَمَا لَوْ كُنْتَ سَتَرْتَهُ بِثَوْبِكَ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا مِمَّا صَنَعْتَ بِهِ. Telah bercerita kepada kami [Waki'] telah bercerita kepada kami [Hisyam bin Sa'id] telah bercerita kepadaku [Yazid bin Nuaim bin Hazzal] dari [ayahnya] bahwa Ma'iz bin Malik ada dalam didikannya. Saat Ma'iz bin Malik melakukan kekejian, Hazzal berkata padanya: Datangilah Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam dan beritahukan kepada beliau. Kemudian Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam bersabda kepadanya dan menemuinya: "Hai Hazzal! Andai kau menutupinya dengan bajumu tentu lebih baik dari apa yang kau lakukan terhadapnya." Hadits ke-26. حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ الْمُنْكَدِرِ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ ابْنِ هَزَّالٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِأَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ شَيْئًا مِنْ أَمْرِ مَاعِزٍ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَوْ كُنْتَ سَتَرْتَهُ بِثَوْبِكَ كَانَ خَيْرًا لَكَ. Telah bercerita kepada kami ['Abdush Shamad] telah bercerita kepada kami [Syu'bah] telah bercerita kepada kami [Yahya bin Sa'id], ia berkata: Saya mendengar [Muhammad bin Al Munkadir] meriwayatkan dari [Ibnu Hazzal] dari [ayahnya], ia menyebutkan sesuatu tentang Ma'iz kepada Nabi Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam. Kemudian Nabi Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam bersabda: "Andai kau menutupinya dengan bajumu niscaya lebih baik bagimu." (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Musnad Ahmad.) Hadits ke-27. حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ الْمُنْكَدِرِ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ ابْنِ هَزَّالٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهُ وَيْحَكَ يَا هَزَّالُ لَوْ سَتَرْتَهُ يَعْنِي مَاعِزًا بِثَوْبِكَ كَانَ خَيْرًا لَكَ. Telah bercerita kepada kami [Sulaiman bin Dawud Ath Thayalisi] telah bercerita kepada kami [Syu'bah] dari [Yahya bin Sa'id], ia berkata: Saya mendengar [Muhammad bin Al Munkadir] menceritakan dari [Ibnu Hazzal] dari [ayahnya] dari Nabi Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam, beliau bersabda kepadanya: "Celaka kau hai Hazzal! Andai kau menutupinya -maksud beliau Ma'iz- dengan bajumu niscaya lebih baik bagimu." (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Musnad Ahmad.) Hadits ke-28. حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ ضَمْرَةَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِأَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ سَأَلَ أَبَا وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيَّ بِمَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْعِيدِ قَالَ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ بِقَافْ وَ اقْتَرَبَتْ. Telah bercerita kepada kami ['Abdur Rahman bin Mahdi] telah bercerita kepada kami [Malik] dari [Dhamrah bin Sa'id] dari [Ubaidillah bin Abdullah] bahwa Umar bin Al Khaththab Radliyallahu'anhu bertanya kepada [Abu Waqid Al Laitsi] apa yang dibaca Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam saat shalat 'id. Hadits ke-29. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ حَسَّانَ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ قَالَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا بِأَرْضٍ تُصِيبُنَا بِهَا مَخْمَصَةٌ فَمَا يَحِلُّ لَنَا مِنْ الْمَيْتَةِ قَالَ إِذَا لَمْ تَصْطَبِحُوا وَلَمْ تَغْتَبِقُوا وَلَمْ تَحْتَفِئُوا بَقْلًا فَشَأْنُكُمْ بِهَا. Telah bercerita kepada kami [Muhammad bin Al Qasim] dari [Al Auza'i] dari [Hassan bin 'Athiyyah] dari [Abu Waqid Al Laitsi], ia berkata: saya berkata: Wahai Rasulullah! disuatu tempat kami tertimpa kelaparan, bangkai apa yang halal bagi kami? Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam bersabda: "Bila kalian tidak makan di pagi hari, di sore hari dan tidak mencabut sayuran, maka terserah kalian." (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Musnad Ahmad.) Hadits ke-30. حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سِنَانِ بْنِ أَبِي سِنَانٍ الدِّيْلِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ قَالَخَرَجَنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قِبَلَ حُنَيْنٍ فَمَرَرْنَا بِسِدْرَةٍ فَقُلْتُ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ اجْعَلْ لَنَا هَذِهِ ذَاتَ أَنْوَاطٍ كَمَا لِلْكُفَّارِ ذَاتُ أَنْوَاطٍ وَكَانَ الْكُفَّارُ يَنُوطُونَ بِسِلَاحِهِمْ بِسِدْرَةٍ وَيَعْكُفُونَ حَوْلَهَا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ هَذَا كَمَا قَالَتْ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ لِمُوسَى{ اجْعَلْ لَنَا إِلَهًا كَمَا لَهُمْ آلِهَةً }إِنَّكُمْ تَرْكَبُونَ سُنَنَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ. Telah bercerita kepada kami ['Abdur Razzaq] telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Ma'mar] dari [Az Zuhri] dari [Sinan bin Abu Sinan Ad Dili] dari [Abu Waqid Al Laitsi], ia berkata: Kami pergi bersama Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam ke arah Hunain, lalu kami melintasi sebuah pohon bidara lalu saya berkata: 'Wahai Nabi Allah! buatkan kami Dzat Al Anwath seperti orang-orang kafir juga punya Dzat Al Anwath. Orang-orang kafir biasa menggantungkan senjata mereka dipohon bidara dan beri'tikaf disekitarnya. Kemudian Nabi Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam bersabda: "Allahu Akbar! Ini seperti yang dikatakan Bani Isra`il kepada Musa: Buatkan kami Tuhan seperti tuhan-tuhan milik mereka. sesungguhnya kalian melakukan perilaku-perilaku orang-orang sebelum kalian." Hadits ke-31. حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا حَسَّانُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيِّأَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا بِأَرْضٍ تُصِيبُنَا بِهَا الْمَخْمَصَةُ فَمَتَى تَحِلُّ لَنَا الْمَيْتَةُ قَالَ إِذَا لَمْ تَصْطَبِحُوا وَلَمْ تَغْتَبِقُوا وَلَمْ تَحْتَفِئُوا فَشَأْنُكُمْ بِهَاحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سِنَانِ بْنِ أَبِي سِنَانٍ الدُّؤَلِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ قَالَ خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى حُنَيْنٍ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَى حَدِيثِ مَعْمَرٍ وَمَعْمَرٌ أَتَمُّ حَدِيثًا. Telah bercerita kepada kami [Al Walid bin Muslim] telah bercerita kepada kami [Al Auza'i] telah bercerita kepada kami [Hassan bin 'Athiyyah] dari [Abu Waqid Al Laitsi], mereka berkata: 'Wahai Rasulullah! sesungguhnya kami berada di kawasan yang tertimpa kelaparan, kapankah bangkai halal bagi kami? Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam bersabda: "Bila kalian tidak sarapan, tidak makan sore dan tidak mencabut tanaman, terserah kalian." Telah bercerita kepada kami [Ishak bin Sulaiman] telah bercerita kepada kami [Malik bin Anas] dari [Az Zuhri] dari [Sinan bin Abu Sinan Ad-Du`ali] dari [Abu Waqid Al Laitsi], ia berkata: Kami pergi bersama Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam ke Hunain. Hadits ke-32. حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ وَحَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْمَعْنَى قَالَا ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ قَالَ عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ فِي حَدِيثِهِ حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ قَالَقَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَدِينَةَ وَبِهَا نَاسٌ يَعْمِدُونَ إِلَى أَلْيَاتِ الْغَنَمِ وَأَسْنِمَةِ الْإِبِلِ فَيَجُبُّونَهَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا قُطِعَ مِنْ الْبَهِيمَةِ وَهِيَ حَيَّةٌ فَهِيَ مَيْتَةٌ. Telah bercerita kepada kami ['Abdush Shamad] dan [Hammad bin Kholid Al Ma'na], keduanya berkata: Telah bercerita kepada kami ['Abdur Rahman bin 'Abdullah bin Dinar], - 'Abdush Shamad menyebutkan dalam haditsnya-: Telah bercerita kepada kami [Zaid bin Aslam] dari ['Atho` bin Yasar] dari [Abu Waqid Al Laitsi], ia berkata: Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam tiba di Madinah, disana ada orang-orang mendatangi ekor kambing gibas dan punuk unta kemudian mereka memotongnya. Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam bersabda: "Bagian binatang hidup yang dipotong adalah bangkai." (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Musnad Ahmad.) Hadits ke-33. حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ وَاقِدٍ بْنِ أَبِي وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِنِسَائِهِ فِي حَجَّتِهِ هَذِهِ ثُمَّ ظُهُورَ الْحُصُرِ. Telah bercerita kepada kami [Sa'id bin Manshur] telah bercerita kepada kami ['Abdul 'Aziz bin Muhammad] dari [Zaid bin Aslam] dari [Waqid bin Abu Waqid Al Laitsi] dari [ayahnya] bahwa Nabi Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam bersabda kepada istri-istri beliau saat berhaji kemudian muncul pengepungan. Hadits ke-34. حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ قَالَكُنَّا نَأْتِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ فَيُحَدِّثُنَا فَقَالَ لَنَا ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَالَ إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَا الْمَالَ لِإِقَامِ الصَّلَاةِ وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ وَلَوْ كَانَ لِابْنِ آدَمَ وَادٍ لَأَحَبَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ إِلَيْهِ ثَانٍ وَلَوْ كَانَ لَهُ وَادِيَانِ لَأَحَبَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ إِلَيْهِمَا ثَالِثٌ وَلَا يَمْلَأُ جَوْفَ ابْنِ آدَمَ إِلَّا التُّرَابُ ثُمَّ يَتُوبُ اللَّهُ عَلَى مَنْ تَابَ. Telah bercerita kepada kami [Abu 'Amir] telah bercerita kepada kami [Hisyam bin Sa'ad] dari [Zaid bin Aslam] dari ['Atho` bin Yasar] dari [Abu Waqid Al Laitsi], ia berkata: Kami mendatangi Nabi Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam. Bila turun wahyu pada beliau kemudian beliau bercerita kepada kami. Pada suatu hari beliau bersabda kepada kami: "Allah AzzaWaJalla berfirman, 'Kami menurunkan harta untuk (digunakan) mendirikan shalat dan menunaikan zakat. Andai anak cucu Adam memiliki lembah, pasti ia ingin lembah yang lain, andai ia punya dua lembah pasti ingin punya lembah ketiga dan tidak ada yang memenuhi perut anak cucu Adam kecuali tanah, kemudian Allah menerima taubat orang yang bertaubat." Hadits ke-35. حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ سَرْجِسَ قَالَ عُدْنَا أَبَا وَاقِدٍ الْكِنْدِيَّ فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي تُوُفِّيَ فِيهِ قَالَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخَفَّ النَّاسِ صَلَاةً بِالنَّاسِ وَأَطْوَلَ النَّاسِ صَلَاةً لِنَفْسِهِحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ وَابْنُ بَكْرٍ قَالَا أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ سَرْجِسَ قَالَ عُدْنَا أَبَا وَاقِدٍ الْكِنْدِيَّ قَالَ ابْنُ بَكْرٍ الْبَدْرِيَّ فِي وَجَعِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Isma'il bin Ibrahim] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ibnu Juraij] dari ['Abdullah bin 'Utsman bin Khutsaim] dari [Nafi' bin Sarjis] ia berkata; Kami menjenguk [Abu Waqid Al Kindi] saat sakit yang membuatnya meninggal dunia, ia berkata; Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihi wasallam adalah orang yang shalatnya paling ringan bersama orang lain, namun paling lama shalatnya saat shalat sendiri. Telah menceritakan kepada kami ['Abdur Razzaq] dan [Ibnu Bakr], keduanya berkata; telah memberitakan kepada kami [Ibnu Juraij], ia berkata; telah memberitakan kepada kami ['Abdullah bin 'Utsman bin Khutsaim] dari [Nafi' bin Sarjas] ia berkata; Kami menjenguk [Abu Waqid Al Kindi], berkata Ibnu Bakr Al Badri saat sakit yang menyebabkannya meninggal dunia, kemudian ia menyebutkan hadits tersebut. Hadits ke-36. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النُّوشَجَانِ وَهُوَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ السُّوَيْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي زَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِأَزْوَاجِهِ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ هَذِهِ ثُمَّ ظُهُورَ الْحُصُرِ. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin An Nusyajan Abu Ja'far As Suwaidi] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ad Darowardi] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Zaid bin Aslam] dari [Ibnu Abi Waqid Al Laitsi] dari [ayahnya], Nabi Shallallahu'alaihi wasallam bersabda kepada istri-istri beliau saat haji wada' "ini" kemudian beliau mengemukakan kewajiban isteri untuk berdiam di rumah. Hadits ke-37. حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ وَسُرَيْجٌ قَالَا ثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ عَنْ ضَمْرَةَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ قَالَسَأَلَنِي عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ عَمَّا قَرَأَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي صَلَاةِ الْعِيدَيْنِ قَالَ سُرَيْجٌ بِمَ قَرَأَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي صَلَاةِ الْخُرُوجِ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ قَرَأَ اقْتَرَبَتْ السَّاعَةُ وَانْشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ وَ ق وَالْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِيدِ. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yunus] dan [Suraij] keduanya berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Fulaih] dari [Dhamrah bin Sa'id] dari ['Ubadillah bin 'Abdullah bin 'Utbah bin Mas'ud] dari [Abu Waqid Al Laitsi] ia berkata; 'Umar Radliyallahu'anhu bertanya kepadaku bacaan yang dibaca Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihi wasallam saat shalat dua hari raya. Sedang Suraij berkata dengan redaksi; apa yang dibaca Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihi wasallam saat shalat keluar (ke tanah lapang). Aku menjawab; beliau membaca iqtarabatis saa'atu wansyaqqal qamar dan qaaf wal qur`aanil majiid (Surat Alqamar dan Qaaf). (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Musnad Ahmad.) Hadits ke-38. حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُصَيْفَةَ عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ أَبِي زُهَيْرٍعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ اقْتَنَى كَلْبًا لَا يُغْنِي مِنْ زَرْعٍ أَوْ ضَرْعٍ نَقَصَ مِنْ عَمَلِهِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ قِيرَاطٌ قَالَ السَّائِبُ فَقُلْتُ لِسُفْيَانَ أَنْتَ سَمِعْتَ هَذَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَرَبِّ هَذَا الْمَسْجِدِ. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hammad bin Khalid] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Malik] dari [Yazid bin Khushaifah] dari [As Sa`ib bin Yazid] dari [Sufyan bin Abu Zuhair] dari Nabi Shallallahu'alaihi wasallam, sesungguhnya beliau bersabda; "Barangsiapa memelihara anjing bukan untuk keperluan menjaga tanaman atau menjaga binatang yang diperah, amalnya berkurang satu qirath setiap hari." Berkata As Sa`ib; kemudian saya berkata kepada Sofyan; engkau mendengar hadits ini dari Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihi wasallam? Ia menjawab; ya, demi Rabb masjid ini. (Derajat: shahih. Hadits ke-39. حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْهَاشِمِيُّ أَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ جَعْفَرٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ خُصَيْفَةَ أَنَّ بُسْرَ بْنَ سَعِيدٍ أَخْبَرَهُأَنَّهُ سَمِعَ فِي مَجْلِسِ اللَّيْثِيِّينَ يَذْكُرُونَ أَنَّ سُفْيَانَ أَخْبَرَهُمْ أَنَّ فَرَسَهُ أَعْيَتْ بِالْعَقِيقِ وَهُوَ فِي بَعْثٍ بَعَثَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَرَجَعَ إِلَيْهِ يَسْتَحْمِلُهُ فَزَعَمَ سُفْيَانُ كَمَا ذَكَرُوا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ مَعَهُ يَبْتَغِي لَهُ بَعِيرًا فَلَمْ يَجِدْ إِلَّا عِنْدَ أَبِي جَهْمِ بْنِ حُذَيْفَةَ الْعَدَوِيِّ فَسَامَهُ لَهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ أَبُو جَهْمٍ لَا أَبِيعُكَهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَلَكِنْ خُذْهُ فَاحْمِلْ عَلَيْهِ مَنْ شِئْتَ فَزَعَمَ أَنَّهُ أَخَذَهُ مِنْهُ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغَ بِئْرَ الْإِهَابِ زَعَمَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يُوشِكُ الْبُنْيَانُ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ هَذَا الْمَكَانَ وَيُوشِكُ الشَّامُ أَنْ يُفْتَتَحَ فَيَأْتِيَهُ رِجَالٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ هَذَا الْبَلَدِ فَيُعْجِبَهُمْ رِيفُهُ وَرَخَاؤُهُ وَالْمَدِينَةُ خَيْرٌ لَهُمْ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ ثُمَّ يُفْتَحُ الْعِرَاقُ فَيَأْتِي قَوْمٌ يَبُسُّونَ فَيَتَحَمَّلُونَ بِأَهْلِيهِمْ وَمَنْ أَطَاعَهُمْ وَالْمَدِينَةُ خَيْرٌ لَهُمْ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ دَعَا لِأَهْلِ مَكَّةَ وَإِنِّي أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى أَنْ يُبَارِكَ لَنَا فِي صَاعِنَا وَأَنْ يُبَارِكَ لَنَا فِي مُدِّنَا مِثْلَ مَا بَارَكَ لِأَهْلِ مَكَّةَ. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Sulaiman bin Dawud Al Hasyimi] telah memberitakan kepada kami [Isma'il bin Ja'far] telah mengabarkan kepadaku [Yazid bin Khushaifah] bahwa [Busr bin Sa'id] memberitakan padanya, ia mendengar [di majlis Al Laitsain], mereka menyebutkan bahwa [Sufyan] memberitakan kepada mereka bahwa kudanya lemah saat berada di 'Aqiq saat ia tengah diutus Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihi wasallam, kemudian ia kembali kepada beliau seraya meminta agar dibawa serta. Kemudian Sufyan mengira seperti yang mereka sebutkan bahwa Nabi Shallallahu'alaihi wasallam keluar bersamanya untuk mencari unta milik beliau tapi tidak menemukannya kecuali ditempat Abu Jahm bin Hudzaifah Al 'Adawi. Kemudian Abu Jahm berkata kepadanya; Aku tidak menjualnya kepada tuan wahai Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihi wasallam! Tapi silahkan tuan ambil dan silahkan perintahkan siapa saja yang tuan kehendaki untuk membawanya. Sufyan mengira Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihi wasallam mengambila unta itu dari Abu Jahm. Kemudian ia pergi hingga tiba di sumur Ihab, ia mengira Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Hampir saja bangunan-bangunan mendatangi tempat ini dan hampir saja Syam akan ditaklukkan." Kemudian beberapa penduduk tempat itu mendatangi beliau, kesederhanaan dan keleluasaan Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihi wasallam membuat mereka kagum dan Madinah lebih baik bagi mereka, andai saja mereka mengetahui. Selanjutnya Irak ditaklukkan lalu sekelompok kaum datang seraya membujuk manusia untuk meninggalkan MAdinah dengan membawa serta keluarga mereka, juga orang-orang yang menaati mereka, padahal Madinah lebih baik bagi mereka andai saja mereka mengetahui, karena Ibrahim telah mendoakan kebaikan penduduk Makkah sedang aku memohon kepada Allah untuk memberkahi kami dalam sha' kami serta memberkahi mud kami (Sha' dan Mud Madinah) seperti berkah yang diberikan kepada penduduk Makkah. Hadits ke-40. حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ أَبِي زُهَيْرٍ الْبَهْزِيِّ قَالَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ يُفْتَحُ الْيَمَنُ فَيَأْتِي قَوْمٌ يَبُسُّونَ فَيَتَحَمَّلُونَ بِأَهْلِيهِمْ وَمَنْ أَطَاعَهُمْ وَالْمَدِينَةُ خَيْرٌ لَهُمْ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى أَخْبَرَنِي مَالِكٌ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ أَبِي زُهَيْرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ يُفْتَحُ الْيَمَنُ فَيَأْتِي قَوْمٌ يَبُسُّونَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ أَبِي زُهَيْرٍ قَالَ ابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ أُخْبِرْتُ أَنَّهُ بِالْمَوْسِمِ فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَسَأَلْتُهُ فَأَخْبَرَنِي فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ تَفْتَحُونَ الشَّامَ فَيَجِيءُ أَقْوَامٌ يَبُسُّونَ قَالَ كُلُّهَا فَتَحُوا وَقَالَ يَبُسُّونَ. Lantas Ia menyebutkan hadits. Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yunus] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hammad bin Zaid] dari [Hisyam bin 'Urwah] dari [ayahnya] dari ['Abdullah bin Az Zubair] dari [Sufyan bin Abu Zuhair]. Berkata Ibnu Az Zubair; saya dikhabari bahwa Sufyan tengah menunaikan haji kemudian saya mendatanginya dan bertanya kepadanya, ia mengabarkan kepada saya lalu berkata; saya mendengar Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Kalian akan menaklukkan Syam kemudian beberapa kaum membujuk keluarganya untuk meninggalkan Madinah."
