Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God willing God willing بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنْ مِنْ بَنِي غِفَارٍ وَفِي أُذُنَيْهِ صَمَمٌ أَوْ قَالَ وَقْرٌ أَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهِ حُمَيْدٌ فَلَمَِ God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing فَجَاءَ حَتَّى جَلَسَ فِيمَا بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing يَقُولُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يُنْشِهُ أَحْسَنَ الْمَنْطِقِ وَيَضْحَكُ أَحْسَنَ الضَّحِكِ. Has told us [Yazid] has told us [Ibrahim bin Sa'ad] has told me [my father] said: I was sitting near Humaid bin 'Abdur Rahman in the mosque then a handsome old man from Bani Ghifar passed by while his ears were deaf, Humaid sent someone to meet him, when he came he said: O my nephew! Widen the distance between me and him, indeed he is [a friend of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam]. He came and sat facing each other then Humaid said to him: This hadith you heard from the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. The person said: I heard Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "Indeed, Allah 'azza wajalla made clouds and spoke so well and laughed so beautifully." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 2nd hadith. God willing اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَن God willing رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ God bless you شِدَادُ الْمَسَائِلِ وَصِعَابُهَا. Has told us [Rauh] has told us [Al Auza'i] from ['Abdullah bin Sa'ad] from [Ash Shunabihi] from [a friend of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam] said: Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade ghuluthat. Said Al Auza'i: Ghuluthat are complicated and difficult problems. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 3rd Hadith. Allah's blessings Allah's blessings God bless you اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ نَهَى عَنْ الْغُلُوطَاتِ. Has told us ['Ali bin Bahr] has told us ['Isa bin Yunus] has told us [Al Auza'i] from ['Abdullah bin Sa'ad] from [Ash Shunabihi] from [Mu'awiyah] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam that he forbade ghuluthat. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 4th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing God bless you لَهُ غُلَامٌ حَجَّامٌ يُقَالُ لَهُ نَافِعٌ أَبُم فَانْطَلَقَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْأَلُهُ عَنْ خَرَاجِهِ فَقَالَ لَا تَقْرَبْهُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ اعْلِفْ بِهِ النَّاضِحَ وَاجْعَلْهُ فِي كِرْشِهِ. Has told us [Hajjaj bin Muhammad] has told us [Laits] has told me [Yazid bin Abu Habib] from [Abu 'Ufair Al Anshari] from [Muhammad bin Sahal bin Abu Hatsmah] from [Muhaiyyishah bin Mas'ud Al Ansari] that he had a cupping slave named Nafi' Abu Thayyibah then he went to Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam asking about his taxes, Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Do not approach." Then he handed it over to the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam and he said: "Give the sprinkler some food from him and put it in his vessel." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 5th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing وَسَلَّمَ فِي إِجَارَةِ الْحَجَّامِ فَنَهَاهُ عَنْهَا فَلَمْ love وَأَطْعِمْهُ رَقِيقَكَ. Has told us [Ishaq bin 'Isa] has told us [Malik] from [Az Zuhri] from [Ibn Muhaiyyishah] from [his father] that he asked permission from Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam about the wages of cupping then he forbade it, he no longer asked about it until Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said to him: "Give your water to the sprinkler and feed your slaves from it." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 6th Hadith. God bless you God willing لِلْبَرَاءِ دَخَلَتْ حَائِطًا فَأَفْسَدَتْ فِيهِ فَقَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهْ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind أَفْسَدَتْ الْمَوَاشِي بِاللَّيْلِ ضَامِنٌ عَلَى أَهْلِهَا. It has been told to us [Ishaq bin 'Isa] has told us [Malik] from [Az Zuhri] from [Hiram bin Muhaiyyishah] that Barra's camel entered the garden and damaged it, then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) decided that the owner of the garden must guard it during the day and any damage damaged by livestock at night should be borne by the owner. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 7th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing مُحَيِّصَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَكَانَ لَهُ غُلَامٌ حَجَّامٌ يُقَالُ لَهُ أَبُو طَيِّبَةَ يَكْسِبُ كَسْبًا كَثِيرًا فَلَمَّا نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ كَسْبِ الْحَجَّامِ اسْتَرْخَصَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings فَلَمْ يَزَلْ يُكَلِّمُهُ فِيهِ وَيَذْكُرُ لَهُ الْحَاجَةَ حَتَّى قَالَ لَهُ لِتُلْقِ كَسْبَهُ فِي بَطْنِ نَاضِحِكَ. Has told us [Yazid bin Harun] has told us [Muhammad bin Ishaq] from [Az Zuhri] from [Hiram bin Sa'idah bin Muhaiyyishah bin Mas'ud] said: He had a cupping slave named Abu Thaibah he earned a lot of money then when the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade taking advantage of cupping, he asked for relief from Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam but he did not give it, he continued talking to Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam discussed this and mentioned his needs until Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said to him: "Throw the results into the stomach of your sprinkler." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 8th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنَ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُحَيِّصَةَ أَنَّ مُحَيِّصَةَسَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing اعْلِفْهُ نَاضِحَكَ وَأَطْعِمْهُ رَقِيقَكَ. It has been told to us [Sufyan] from [Az Zuhri] from [Hiram bin Sa'ad bin Muhaiyyishah] that Muhaiyyishah asked the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam about the results of his cupping and then the prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade him, he continued talking to him until he said: "Give the sprinkler your water and let your slaves eat from it." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 9th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. مُحَيِّصَةَأَنَّ نَاقَةً لِلْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ دَخَلَتْ حَائِطَ قَوْمٍ فَأَفْسَدَتْ فَقَضَى رََُولُ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing Allah's blessings God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you حَجَّامٌ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ. It has been told to us [Sufyan] said, and I heard it from [Az Zuhri] from [Sa'id ibn Al Musayyib] and [Haram bin Sa'ad bin Muhaiyyishah] that Barra` bin 'Azib's camel entered the people's garden and damaged it, then Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam decided that the care of the property would be the responsibility of its owner during the day while the owner of the livestock would bear the damage at night. Yazid has told us about Muhammad bin Ishaq from Az Zuhri from Haram bin Sa'idah bin Muhaiyyishah bin Mas'ud from his father from his grandfather, Muhaiyyishah bin Mas'ud said, he had a cupping slave and then he mentioned the hadith. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 10th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing عَنْ كَسْبِ الْحَجَّامْ فَنَهَاهُ فَذَكَرَ مِنْ حَاجَتِهِ فَقَالَ اعْلِفْ نَاضِحَكَ وَأَطْعِمْهُ رَقِيقَكَ. Has told us ['Abdur Razzaq] has told us [Ma'mar] from [Az Zuhri] from [Haram bin Muhaiyyishah] from [his father] from his grandfather that he asked the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam about the results of cupping, the prophet shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade it then he repeated it, the prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade it then he mentioned the need for it then the prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Give the sprinkler your water and let your slave eat from it." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 11th Hadith. God willing God willing نَاقَةً لِلْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ دَخَلَتْ حَائِطَ رَجُلٍ فَقَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing بِاللَّيْلِ. It has been told to us ['Abdur Razzaq] has told us [Ma'mar] from [Az Zuhri] from [Haram bin Muhaiyyishah] from [his father] that Barra` bin 'Azib's camel entered someone's garden and destroyed it and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) decided that property owners must guard it during the day while livestock owners must guard it at night. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 12th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing عَنْ كَسْبِ الْحَجَّامْ الْحَاجَةَ فَقَالَ اعْلِفْهُ نَوَاضِحَكَ. It has been told to us [Yazid] has told us [Ibn Abi Dzi'b] from [Az Zuhri] from [Haram bin Muhaiyyishah] from [his father] that he asked the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam about the results of cupping work and the prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade it then he mentioned his need then the prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Give to your sprinklers." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 13th Hadith. God willing God bless you God bless you God bless you God bless you لَا قَالَ أَفَلَا أَتَصَدَّقُ بِهِ قَالَ لَا فَرَخَّصَ لَهُ أَنْ يَعْلِفَهُ نَاضِحَهُ. Has told us ['Abdush Shamad] has told us [Hisyam] from [Yahya] from [Muhammad bin Ayyub] that an Ansar named [Muhaiyyishah] told him, he had a cupping slave, Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade him to get wages from cupping then he said: Can I feed my orphans from him? Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "No." He said: May I give it in charity? Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "No." Then Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam gave him relief to give it to his water sprinkler. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 14th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ or God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing لَا يُصِيبُ غَيْرِي قَالَ فَلَمَّا دَخَلَ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ خِفْتُ فَتَظَاهَرْتُ مِنْ امْرَأَتِي فِي الشَّهْرَ فَبَيْنَمَا هِيَ تَخْدُمُنِي ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ إِذْ تَكَشَّفَ لِي مِنْهَا شَيْءٌ فَلَمْ أَلْبَثْ أَنْ وَقَعْتُ عَلَيْهَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فََأَخْبَرْتُهُ وَالَّذِي بَعَثَكَ بِالْحَقِّ مَا أَمْلِكُ رَقَبَةً غَيْرَ God willing وَهَلْ أَصَابَنِي الَّذِي أَصَابَنِي إِلَّا مِنْ الصِّيَامِ قَالَ فَأَطْعِمْ سِتِّينَ مِسْكِينًا. It has been told to us ['Abdullah bin Idris] from [Muhammad bin Ishaq] from [Muhammad bin 'Amru bin 'Atho`] from [Sulaiman bin Yasar] from [Salamah bin Shakhr Al Bayadli] said: I am a person who is attacked by women's temptations unlike other people. When the month of Ramadlan entered, I was worried so I asked my wife for that month. When he was serving me one night, a little part of his body was exposed, not long after that I had sexual intercourse with him and then I went to the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam and told him about it. He said: "Free one slave." I said: By the One who sent you with the truth, I have no slave except one that is mine." Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Then fast for two months in a row." I said: What happened to me was none other than because of fasting. Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Then feed sixty poor people." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 15th Hadith. God willing God willing قَالَكُنْتُ أَقُومُ عَلَى رَأْسِ الْمُخْتَارَ Allah's blessings God willing God willing رَسُولَ اللَّهْ آمَنَ رَجُلًا عَلَى نَفْسِهِ فَقَََهُ الْغَدْرِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ. Has told us [Bahz] has told us [Hammad bin Salamah] from ['Abdul Malik bin 'Umair] from [Rifa'ah bin Syaddad] said: I once stood on the head of Al Mukhtar, when it became clear to me that he was lying, by Allah I drew my sword and wanted to cut his neck until I remembered a hadith that ['Amru bin Al Hamaq] told me, he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi Wasallam said: "Whoever gives a guarantee of his safety and then kills him, he will be given a flag of treason on the Day of Resurrection." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 16th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing قَالَدَخَلْتُ عَلَى الْمُخْتَارْ وِسَادَةً وَقَالَ لَوْلَا أَنَّ أَخِي جِبْرِيلَ قَامَ عَنْ هَذِهِ لَأَلْقَيْتُهَا لَكَ قَالَ فَأَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَضْرِبَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. بْنُ الْحَمِقْ God willing دَمِهِ فَقَتَلَهُ فَأَنَا مِنْ الْقَاتِلِ بَرِيءٌ. Has told us [Ibn Numair] has told us ['Isa Al Qari` Abu 'Umar] has told me [As Sudi] from [Rifa'ah Al Qitbani] said: I entered Al Mukhtar's residence then he gave me a pillow and said: If only my brother, Jibril, stood up and left him, I would have thrown it away for you. I wanted to cut his neck then I remembered a hadith told by my brother [('Amru bin Al Hamaq)] he said: Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Any believer who guarantees security for the life of another believer and then kills him, I am free from that murderer." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 17th Hadith. God willing عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing لَأَرَى صَاحِبَكُمْ يُعَلِّمُكُمْ حَتَّى الْخِرَاءَةِ قَالَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَلَا نَسْتَنْجِيَ بِأَيْمَانِنَا وَلَا نَكْتَفِيَ بِدُونِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَحْجَارٍ لَيْسَ فِيهَا رَجِيعٌ وَلَا عَظْمٌ. Has told us [Waki'] has told us [Al A'masy] from [Ibrahim] from ['Abdur Rahman bin Yazid] from [Salman] said: Some polytheists say while making fun of him: Indeed, I know that your friend taught you how to defecate. Salman said: That's right, he ordered us not to face the Qibla, not to perform Istinja` with the right hand and not to use less than three stones that are not dirt and bones. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 18th Hadith. Allah's blessings صُورٌ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَنَا رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing لَيُعَلِّمُكُمْ إِذَا أَتَى أَحَدُكُمْ الْغَائِطَ قَالَ قُلْتُ نَعَمْ أَجَلْ وَلَوْ سَخِرْتَ إِنَّهُ لَيُعَلِّمُنَا كَيْفَ يَأْتِي أَحَدُنَا الْغَائِطَ وَإِنَّهُ يَنْهَانَا أَنْ يَسْتَقْبِلَ أَحَدُنَا الْقِبْلَةَ وَأَنْ يَسْتَدْبِرَهَا وَأَنْ يَسْتَنْجِيَ أَحَدُنَا بِيَمِينِهِ وَأَنْ يَتَمَسَّحَ God willing بِأَقَلَّ مِنْ ثَلَاثَةِ أَحْجَارٍ. Has told us [Abu Sa'id] has told us [Za`idah] has told us [Mansur] from [Ibrahim] from ['Abdur Rahman bin Yazid] has told us [a friend of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam] said: Someone said: Indeed, I know that your friend taught you how to work until he taught when one of you went to the toilet. I answered: Yes, that's right, even though you insulted him, in fact he taught us how to go to the toilet, he forbade one of us to face the Qibla and turn his back to it, forbade one of us to perform the istinja` with the right hand, not to wipe using dirt and bones and not to perform the istinja` with less than three stones. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 19th hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing God bless you يَذْكُرُ أَشْيَاءَ قَالَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ or God willing سَلْمَانُ يَا حُذَيْفَةُإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings love God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. رَجُلٍ مِنْ أُمَّتِي سَبَبْتُهُ سَبَّةً فِي غَضَبِي أَوْ لَعَنْتُهُ لَعْنَةً فَإِنَّمَا أَنَا مِنْ وَلَدِ آدَمَ God willing لِلْعَالَمِينَ فَاجْعَلْهَا صَلَاةً عَلَيْهِ يَوْمَ God. Has told us [Mu'awiyah bin 'Amru] has told us [Za`idah] has told us ['Umar bin Qais Al Mashir] from ['Amru bin Abu Qurrah] said: Hudzaifah was in Mada`in, he mentioned many things that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said then Hudzaifah came to Salman and [Salman] said: O Hudzaifah! Indeed, Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam was sometimes angry and then said something, sometimes happy and then said, I know that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam gave a sermon and then said: "Anyone from my ummah whom I criticize when I am angry or I curse, in fact I am just an ordinary human being, I am angry just like you are angry, in fact I was sent as a mercy for the entire world, so let it be a prayer for him on the Day of Judgment." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 20th hadith. God willing God willing قَالَكُنْتُ مَعَ سَلْمَانَ الْفَارِسِيِّ تَحْتَ شَجَرَةٍ وَأَخَذَ مِنْهَا غُصْنًا يَابِسًا فَهَزَّهُ حَتَّى تَحَاتَّ وَرَقُهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا أَبَا عُثْمَانَ أَلَا تَسْأَلُنِي لِمَ أَفْعَلُ هَذَا قُلْتُ وَلِمَ تَفْعَلُهُ فَقَالَ هَكَذَا فَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا مَعَهُ تَحْتَ شَجَرَةٍ فَأَخَذَ مِنْهَا غُصْنًا يَابِسًا فَهَزَّهُ حَتَّى تَحَاتَّ وَرَقُهُ فَقَالَ يَا God willing وَلِمَ تَفْعَلُهُ قَالَ إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمَ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ Allah's blessings God willing وَقَالَ{ وَأَقِمْ الصَّلَاةَ طَرَفَيْ النَّهَارِ وَزُلَفًا God bless you ذَلِكَ ذِكْرَى لِلذَّاكِرِينَ }. Has told us ['Affan] has told us [Hammad bin Salamah] has told us ['Ali bin Zaid] from [Abu 'Uthman] said: I was with [Salman Al Farisi] under a tree and he plucked a dry twig, he moved it until the leaves fell off then said: O Abu 'Uthman! Aren't you asking why I'm doing this and why aren't you doing it? Then Salman said: That's what Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam did when I was with him under a tree, he plucked a dry twig and moved it until the leaves fell off then said: "O Salman! Don't you ask why I did this and why didn't you do it?" Then he said: "Indeed, if a person muslim performs ablution and repairs his ablution and then prays five times a day then his mistakes fall away like the fall of these leaves." He said: "Make sure to pray at the end of the day and part of the night, indeed the good things cancel out the bad things, it is a warning for those who remember." (Degree: authentic. God bless you ذِئْبٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنْ God willing God bless you وَيَتَطَهَّرُ بِمَا اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْ طُهْرٍ وَيَدَّهِنُ مِنْ دُهْنِهْ God willing مَا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ ثُمَّ يُنْصِتُ لِلْإِمَامِ إِذَا God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing الْأُخْرَى. It has been told to us [Hajaj bin Muhammad] has told us [Ibn Abi Dzi'b] from [Sa'id Al Maqburi] said: it has been reported to me [my father] from ['Abdullah bin Wadi'ah] from [Salman Al Khair] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam that he said: "No one bathes on Friday, purifies as much as possible, wears hair oil or wears perfume from his house then go to the mosque then do not interrupt between two people then pray then keep quiet to listen to the imam but his sins between him and the other Friday are forgiven." God bless you احْتُضِرَ سَلْمَانُ بَكَى وَقَالَ إِنَِ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهْ بُلْغَةُ God willing نَظَرْنَا فِيمَا تَرَكَ فَإِذَا قِيمَةُ مَا تَرَكَ بِضْعَةٌ وَعِشْرُونَ دِرْهَمًا أَوْ بِضْعَةٌ وَثَلَاثُونَ دِرْهَمًا. It has been told to us that [Husyaim] from [Mansur] from [Al Hasan] said: When [Salman] was dying, he cried and said: In fact the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) ordered something to us and then we abandoned what we were ordered to do; let the worldly life of one of us be like the provisions of a traveler. Has told us [Ibnu Fudlail] has told us [Al A'masy] from [Ibrahim] from ['Abdur Rahman bin Yazid] from [Salman] said: The polytheists say: Verily, that person taught you anything until he taught you to defecate. I said: If you say that, he forbade us to face the Qibla or turn our backs to it, to perform istinja` with the right hand, he forbade one of us to only have less than three stones or one of us to istinja` with dirt or bones. It has been told to us [Yazid] has told us [Sulaiman At Taimi] from [Abu 'Uthman] from [Salman] said: Indeed, Allah 'azza wajalla is ashamed of a servant stretching out his hand to Him while asking for goodness and then being rejected in vain. Has told us [Yazid] has told us [someone] at the assembly of 'Amru bin 'Ubaid that he heard [Abu Uthman] tell it from [Salman Al Farisi] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, said Yazid: Tell me his name? God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. قَالَكُنَّا مَعَ سَلْمَانَ تَحْتَ شَجَرَةٍ فَأَخَذَ غُصْنًا مِنْهَا فَنَفَضَهُ فَتَسَاقَطَ وَرَقُهُ فَقَالَ أَلَا God willing كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي ظِلِّ شَجَرَةٍ فَأَخَذَ غُصْنًا مِنْهَا فَنَفَضَهُ فَتَسَاقَطَ وَرَقُهُ فَقَالَ أَلَا تَسْأَلُونِي عَمَّا God willing God willing God willing الشَّجَرَةِ. Has told us [Yazid] has told us [Hammad bin Salamah] from ['Ali bin Zaid] from [Abu 'Uthman An Nahdi] said: We were once with [Salman] under a tree and he plucked a dry twig, he moved it until the leaves fell off and then said: O Abu 'Uthman! Didn't you ask why I did this? 'Uthman said: Tell us the news, then Salman said: We were once with the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam under the shade of a tree, he plucked a twig and moved it until the leaves fell off then said: "O Salman! Don't you ask why I did this?" 'Uthman said: Give us news, O Messenger of Allah! He said: "Indeed, if people muslim pray five times a day, their mistakes will fall away like the fall of these leaves." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 26th Hadith. God bless you كَفَّارَةً لَهُ مَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْجُمُعَةِ God. Has told us [Husyaim] from [Al Mughirah] from [Abu Ma'syar] from [Ibrahim] from ['Alqamah] from [Qartsa' Adl Dlibbi] from [Salman Al Farisi] said: Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam asked me: "Do you know what Friday is?" I answered: It is the day on which Allah gathers your father on that day." Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said: "But I know what Friday is, it is not that a person purifies himself and makes amends, then goes to the Friday prayer and then remains silent until the imam has finished praying, but rather it becomes an eraser for him between him and the next Friday as long as the destructive things are avoided." God willing God willing God bless you God willing لَيْسَ لَنَا خَادِمٌ إِلَّا وَاحِدَةٌ فَلَطَمَهَا أَحَدُنَا may Allah bless him and give him peace God bless you قَالَ لِتَخْدُمَنَّهُمْ فَإِذَا اسْتَغْنَوْا عَنْهَا فَلْيُعْتِقُوهَا. It has been told to us ['Abdur Rahman bin Mahdi] from [Sufyan] from [Salamah bin Kuhail] from [Mu'awiyah bin Suwaid] said: I slapped one of our slaves then [my father] said to him: Retaliate. Then he said: We are seven people from the Bani Muqarrin, we do not have any servants except a woman, one of us slapped him then the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallamber said: "Free him." It was said to him: They have no other servants. The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said: "Please serve them and when they no longer need it, let them set it free." (Degree: authentic. God bless you God willing God willing God willing لِسُوَيْدٍ فَكَلَّمَتْ رَجُلًا مِنَّا فَسَبَّتْهُ فَلَطَمَ وَجْهَهَا فَقَالَ سُوَيْدٌ لَطَمْتَهَا لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنِي وَإِنِّي لَسَابِعُ سَبْعَةٍ مِنْ إِخْوَتِي مَا لَنَا إِلَّا God bless you اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِعِتْقِهَا. Has told us [Muhammad bin Ja'far] has told us [Syu'bah] from [Hushain] saying: I heard [Hilal bin Yisaf] tell a story from [Suwaid bin Muqarrin] saying: We were selling milk at Suwaid bin Muqarrin's residence then a female slave belonging to Suwaid came out then I spoke to someone from our group, the female slave criticized him then he slapped the female slave in the face then the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam ordered us to release him. God willing God willing prayer فَقَالَ أَمَا وَجَدْتَ إِلَّا حُرَّ وَجْهِهِ وَلَقَدْ God willing وَمَا لَنَا خَادِمٌ إِلَّا وَاحِدٌ عَمَدَ إِلَيْهِ وَاحِدٌ فَلَطَمَهُ فَأَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ God willing فَأَعْتَقْنَاهُ. Has told us [Husyaim] has told us [Hushain] from [Hilal bin Yisaf] that someone visited the residence of Suwaid bin Muqarrin and he slapped one of his slaves, [Suwaid] got angry and said: You didn't find him but he was free, I was the seventh child of the Muqarrin lineage, we only had one servant, one of us approached him and slapped him and Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa Sallam ordered us to free him when we got home and then we freed him. God willing قَالَ سَمِعْتُ هِلَالًا رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي مَازِنٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. فَسَأَلْتُهُ فَنَهَانِي عَنْهَا فَكَسَرْتُهَا. It has been told to us [Rauh] has told us [Syu'bah] from [Abu Hamzah] saying: I heard [Hilal] - a person from Banu Mazin - telling a story from [Suwaid bin Muqarrin] saying: I went to the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam with wine in a pot, I asked him about it and he forbade it, I broke it. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. يَسَارٍأَنَّ عُمَرَ اسْتَعْمَلَ النُّعْمَانَ بْنَ مُقَرِّنٍ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ قَالَ يَعْنِي النُّعْمَانَ وَلَكِنِّي God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing فَكَانَ إِذَا لَمْ يُقَاتِلْ أَوَّلَ النَّهَارِ أَخَّرَ God willing وَيَنْزِلَ النَّصْرُ. Has told us ['Abdur Rahman] and [Bahz] both said: has told us [Hammad bin Salamah] from [Abu 'Imran Al Jauni] said: said Bahz: has told us Abu 'Imran Al Jauni from ['Alqamah bin 'Abdullah Al Muzanni] from [Ma'qil bin Yasar] that 'Umar assigned An Nu'man bin Muqarrin then he mentioned the hadith, saying [An Nu'man]: But I took part in the war with the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, if he did not fight at the beginning of the day, he postponed the war until the sun was bent, the wind blew and help came. God willing God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing قَالَ فَجَعَلَ الرَّجُلُ الْمَسْبُوبُ يَقُولُ عَلَيْكَ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَسَلَّمَ أَمَا إِنَّ مَلَكًا بَيْنَكُمَا يَذُبُِ كُلَّمَا يَشْتُمُكَ هَذَا قَالَ لَهُ بَلْ أَنْتَ وَأَنْتَ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing. It has been told to us [Aswad bin 'Amir] has told us [Abu Bakr] from [Al A'masy] from [Abu Khalid Al Walibi] from [An Nu'man bin Muqarrin] said: Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallamber said when someone criticized another person near him, the person being criticized said: 'ALAIKAS SALAAM: "Remember that one angel between you both defends you, every one of them criticizing you, the angel said: In fact you are more entitled to that. And when he said to you: 'ALAIKAS SALAAM, the angel said: In fact you are more entitled to that." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 33rd Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَ Allah's blessings God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings مِنْ مُزَيْنَةَ فَأَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهْ رَسُولَ اللَّهْ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing وَمَا أُرَاهَا تُغْنِي عَنْهُمْ شَيْئًا فَقَالَ انْطَلِقْ فَزَوِّدْهُمْ فَانْطَلَقَ بِنَا إِلَى عُلِّيَّةٍ لَهُ فَإِذَا فِيهَا تَمْرٌ مِثْلُ الْبَكْرِ الْأَوْرَقِ فَقَالَ خُذُوا God bless you God willing وَقَدْ احْتَمَلَ مِنْهُ أَرْبَعُ مِائَةِ رَجُلٍ. Has told us ['Abdush Shamad] has told us [Harb bin Syaddad] has told us [Hushain] from [Salim bin Abu Al Ja'ad] from [An Nu'man bin Muqarrin] said: We came to the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam together with four hundred people from Muzainah then Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam ordered us something, some of the people said: O Rasulullah! we had no food for supplies. Then the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallamber said to 'Umar: "Give them supplies." Said 'Umar: I only have some dates left and I don't think that's sufficient for them at all. The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said: "Go and give them provisions." 'Umar went with us to his room and found inside there were dates like gray camel calves and said 'Umar: Take them. They also took what they needed and I, Nu'man bin Muqarrin, was the last person, I turned around and I didn't lose the place of dates even though four hundred people had already taken them. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. وَاخْتِيَالُهُ فِي الصَّدَقَةِ وَالْخُيَلَاَُ يُبْغِضُ اللَّهُ الْخُيَلَاءُ فِي الْبَغْيِ أَوْ قَالَ فِي الْفَخْرِ. It has been told to us [Isma'il] from [Hajjaj Ash Shawwaf] from [Yahya bin Abu Kathir] from [Muhammad bin Ibrahim] from [Ibnu Jabir bin 'Atik Al Ansari] from [his father] said: Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said: "Indeed, among jealousy there are those that Allah likes and there are those that Allah hates and among those arrogant attitudes there are those that Allah likes and there are those that Allah hates, jealousy is favored Allah is jealous beyond doubt and what Allah hates is jealousy beyond doubt, while the arrogant attitude that Allah loves is the arrogance of a servant for Allah during war and arrogant attitude with alms." Has told us [Abdush Shamad] has told us [Harb i.e. Ibn Syaddad] has told us [Yahya i.e. Ibnu Abi Katsir] has told us [Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al Qurasy] has told me [Ibnu Jabir bin 'Atik] that [his father] told him and his father was one of the companions of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam that the prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallamber said: "Indeed, jealousy is among them" then he mentioned the meaning of the hadith and said in his history: "The arrogance that Allah loves is the arrogance of a person during war and arrogance when giving alms, while the arrogance that Allah hates is arrogance in abomination -or said: "In pride." Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 35th Hadith. قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَهْدِيٍّ : مَالِكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنْ God willing عَبْدُ اللَّهْ قُرَى الْأَنْصَارْ رَسُولُ اللَّهْ مَسْجِدِكُمْ هَذَا فَقُلْتُ نَعَمْ فَأَشَرْتُ لَتُ love God bless you God bless you God willing وَدَعَا بِأَنْ لَا يَجْعَلَ بَأْسَهُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ فَمَنَعَنِيهَا قَالَ صَدَقْتَ فَلَا يَزَالُ الْهَرْجُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ. Says Ahmad; I read the history to ['Abdur Rahman bin Mahdi]: [Malik] from ['Abdullah bin 'Abdullah bin Jabir bin 'Atik] from [Jabir bin 'Atik] he said: 'Abdullah bin 'Umar came to us at the place of Bani Mu'awiyah, one of the villages of the Ansar then 'Abdullah asked me: Do you know where the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam used to pray in your mosque? I said: Yes. Then I showed one side of it. 'Abdullah asked: Do you know the three things that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam prayed for in that place? I answered: Yes. Said 'Abdullah: Tell me. I said: Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam prayed that they would not be defeated by enemies other than themselves and that they would not be destroyed by famine, both were granted and he prayed that attacks would not occur among themselves and then Allah prevented it. Said 'Abdullah bin 'Umar: You are right, killings will continue to occur until the Day of Judgment. (Degree: authentic. God bless you اللَّهِ بْنْ قَالَدَخَلْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى مَيِّتٍ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ وَأَهْلُهُ يَبْكُونَ فَقُلْتُ أَتَبْكُونَ وَهَذَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you God bless you مَاذَا وَجَبَتْ قَالَ إِذَا أُدْخِلَ قَبْرَهُ. Has told us [Abu Nu'aim] has told us [Isra`il] from ['Abdullah bin 'Isa] from [Jabr bin 'Atik] from [his uncle] said; I visited the body of an Ansar and his family with Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, they were crying then I said: Why are you crying while here is Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said: "Let them cry as long as the body is near them and if it is necessary then let them not cry." Jabr said: I told it to 'Umar bin Humaid Al Qurasy then he asked me: What is obligatory? I answered: When it has been put in the grave. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) Hadits ke-38. حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنِ ابْنِ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَتِيكٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ مِنْ الْغَيْرَةِ مَا يُحِبُّ اللَّهُ وَمِنْهَا مَا يُبْغِضُ اللَّهُ وَإِنَّ مِنْ الْخُيَلَاءِ مَا يُحِبُّ اللَّهُ وَمِنْهَا مَا يُبْغِضُ اللَّهُ وَأَمَّا الْغَيْرَةُ الَّتِي يُحِبُّ اللَّهُ فَالْغَيْرَةُ الَّتِي فِي الرِّيبَةِ وَأَمَّا الْغَيْرَةُ الَّتِي يُبْغِضُ اللَّهُ فَالْغَيْرَةُ فِي غَيْرِ الرِّيبَةِ وَأَمَّا الْخُيَلَاءُ الَّتِي يُحِبُّ اللَّهُ فَاخْتِيَالُ الرَّجُلِ بِنَفْسِهِ عِنْدَ الْقِتَالِ وَاخْتِيَالُهُ عِنْدَ الصَّدَقَةِ وَالْخُيَلَاءُ الَّتِي يُبْغِضُ اللَّهُ فَاخْتِيَالُ الرَّجُلِ فِي الْفَخْرِ وَالْبَغْيِ. Telah bercerita kepada kami ['Affan] telah bercerita kepada kami [Aban] telah bercerita kepada kami [Yahya bin Abu Katsir] dari [Muhammad bin Ibrahim bin Al Harits] dari [Ibnu Jabir bin 'Atik] dari [ayahnya] bahwa Rasulullah Shallalahu 'alaihi wa sallam bersabda: "Sesungguhnya diantara cemburu itu ada yang disukai Allah dan ada yang dibenci Allah dan diantara sikap sombong itu ada yang disukai Allah dan ada yang dibenci Allah, cemburu yang disukai Allah adalah cemburu dalam keraguan dan yang dibenci Allah adalah cemburu diluar keraguan, sedangkan sikap sombong yang disukai Allah sombongnya seorang hamba untuk Allah saat perang dan sombong dengan sedekah, sedangkan sombong yang dibenci Allah adalah sombongnya seseorang dalam kebanggaan dan kekejian." Hadits ke-39. حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَتِيكٍ عَنْ عَتِيكِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَتِيكٍ فَهُوَ جَدُّ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَبُو أُمِّهِ أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَتِيكٍ أَخْبَرَهُأَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ لَمَّا مَاتَ قَالَتْ ابْنَتُهُ وَاللَّهِ إِنْ كُنْتُ لَأَرْجُو أَنْ تَكُونَ شَهِيدًا أَمَا إِنَّكَ كُنْتَ قَدْ قَضَيْتَ جِهَازَكَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَوْقَعَ أَجْرَهُ عَلَى قَدْرِ نِيَّتِهِ وَمَا تَعُدُّونَ الشَّهَادَةَ قَالُوا قَتْلٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الشَّهَادَةُ سَبْعٌ سِوَى الْقَتْلِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ الْمَطْعُونُ شَهِيدٌ وَالْغَرِقُ شَهِيدٌ وَصَاحِبُ ذَاتِ الْجَنْبِ شَهِيدٌ وَالْمَبْطُونُ شَهِيدٌ وَصَاحِبُ الْحَرْقِ شَهِيدٌ وَالَّذِي يَمُوتُ تَحْتَ الْهَدْمِ شَهِيدٌ وَالْمَرْأَةُ تَمُوتُ بِجُمْعٍ شَهِيدَةٌ. Telah bercerita kepada kami [Rauh] telah bercerita kepada kami [Malik] dari ['Abdullah bin 'Abdullah bin Jabir bin 'Atik] dari ['Atik bin Al Harits bin 'Atik] -kakek 'Abdullah bin 'Agbdullah, ayah dari ibunya- ia memberitahu padanya bahwa [Jabir bin 'Atik] memberitahunya bahwa 'Abdullah bin Tsabit saat meninggal, putrinya berkata: Demi Allah dulu aku sangat berharap engkau mati syahid, ingat engkau telah menunaikan perbekalanku, lalu Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam. Rasulullah Shallalahu 'alaihi wa sallam bersabda: "Mati syahid itu ada tujuh selain terbunuh dijalan Allah; mati terkena tha'un syahid, mati tenggelam syahid, mati karena sakit lambung syahid, mati karena sakit perut syahid, mati terbakar syahid, mati tertimpa bangunan syahid dan wanita yang mati bersama janinnya syahidah." Hadits ke-40. حَدَّثَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ مُرَّةَ الْحَنَفِيُّ أَبُو مُرَّةَ حَدَّثَنَا نَفِيسٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ الْعَبْدِيِّ قَالَكُنْتُ فِي الْوَفْدِ الَّذِي أَتَوْا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ عَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ قَالَ وَلَسْتُ مِنْهُمْ وَإِنَّمَا كُنْتُ مَعَ أَبِي قَالَ فَنَهَاهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الشُّرْبِ فِي الْأَوْعِيَةِ الَّتِي سَمِعْتُمْ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْحَنْتَمِ وَالنَّقِيرِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ.
