Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God willing God bless you مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ شَرِيكِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَْدِ God willing وَعَمِّهِ قَتَادَةَأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ God willing وَادَّخِرُوا. Has told us [Abdul Malik bin 'Amru] and [Abdurrahman bin Mahdi] both said, have told us [Zuhair] - namely Ibn Muhammad - from [Syarik bin Abdullah] from [Abdurrahman bin Abu Sa'id al Khudri] from [his father] and his uncle [Qatadah] that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Eat with you the sacrificial meat and keep it." God willing وَعِنْدَهَا لَحْمٌ مِنْ لُحُومِ الْأَضَاحِيِّ قَدْ رَفَعَتْهُ فَرَفَعْتُ عَلَيْهَا الْعَصَا فَقَالَتْ إِنَّ فُلَانًا God willing God willing God willing فَكُلُوا وَادَّخِرُوا. Has told us [Abdus Shamad] said, has told us [Yazid bin Ibrahim] said, has told us [Muhammad] -namely Ibn Sirin- from [Abu Al Alaniyah] from [Abu Sa'id Al Khudri] said, "I met this -namely his wife-, while at her side there was sacrificial meat which she had lifted, so I lifted it with a stick. My wife then said, "Fulan has come and told us that The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Indeed, I have forbidden you to keep the sacrificial meat for more than three days, so now eat it and keep it." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 3rd Hadith. God bless you يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْهَادِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَأَنَّ قَتَادَةَ بْنَ النُّعْمَانِ الظَّفَرِيَّ وَقَعَ بِقُرَيْشٍ فَكَأَنَّهُ نَالَ مِنْهُمْ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَِ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا قَتَادَةُ لَا تَسُبَّنَّ قُرَيْشًا فَلَعَلَّكَ أَنْ تَرَى مِنْهُمْ رِجَالًا تَزْدَرِي God willing وَتَغْبِطُهُمْ إِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ لَوْلَا أَنْ تَطْغَى قُرَيْشٌ لَأَخْبَرْتُهُمْ بِالَّذِي لَهُمْ عِنْدَ اللَِ God bless you اللَّهِ بْنْ فَقَالَ هَكَذَا حَدَّثَنِي عَاصِمُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ. It has been told to us [Yunus] said, It has been told to us [Laits] from [Yazid] - namely Ibnul Hadi - from [Muhammad bin Ibrahim], that Qatadah bin Nu'man Azh Zhafari clashed with the Quraish as if he were insulting them, then the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "O Qatadah, do not insult the Quraish, perhaps you will see among them there are people whose deeds are lower than their deeds, your deeds are lower than their deeds, and you are jealous if you see them. If only the Quraysh people did not go beyond their limits, then I would tell you what Allah Azza Wa Jalla has prepared for them." [Yazid] said; [Ja'far bin Abdullah bin Aslam] heard me say this hadith, and I narrated this hadith. Then he said, like this I heard from [Ashim bin Umar bin Qatadah] from [his father] from [his grandfather.] (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 4th Hadith. God bless you God willing رَسُولُ اللَّهْ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيُكْرِمْ ضَيْفَهُ مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيُحْسِنْ إِلَى جَارِهِ مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِالم وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيَقُلْ خَيْرًا أَوْ لِيَصْمُتْ. Has reported to us [Sufyan] from ['Amru] from [Nafi' bin Jubair bin Muth'im] from [Abu Syuraij Al khuza'i] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should respect his guests, whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should do good to his neighbors, and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should say good or silence." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 5th Hadith. God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings مَكَّةَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حَرَّمَ مَكَّةَ وَلَمْ يُحَرِّمْهَا النَّاسُ فَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلَا يَسْفِكَنَّ فِيهَا دَمًا وَلَا يَعْضِدَنَّ فِيهَا شَجَرًا فَإِنْ تَرَخَّصَ مُتَرَخِّصٌ God bless you وَسَلَّمَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ أَحَلَّهَا لِي وَلَمْ يُحِلَّهَا لِلنَّاسِ وَهِيَ سَاعَتِي هَذِهِ حَرَامٌ إِلَى أَنْ تَقُومَ God willing الْقَتِيلَ وَإِنِّى بَعْدَ مَقَالَتِي هَذِهِ فَأَهْلُهُ بَيْنَ خِيرَتَيْنِ إِمَّا God. Has told us [Yahya bin Sa'id] said, has told us [Ibn Abu Dzi'b] said, has told us [Sa'id] - namely Al Maqbri said, I heard [Abu Syuraih Al Ka'bi] say, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said at the time of the conquest of the city of Makkah: "Indeed, Allah Azza Wa Jalla has forbidden the city of Makkah and humans have not forbidden it, so Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, should not shed blood in it, and not cut down trees in it even from those who despise it." Abu Syuraih said, "It has been made lawful for the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. "Indeed, Allah has made it lawful for me and has not made it lawful for anyone else, it is haram from now until the Day of Resurrection. Verily, you, O children of Khuza'ah, have killed this man, and indeed I am the who redeems his diyat, then whoever kills someone after my words, then his family has the right to choose between two options; kill him or take his diyat." God bless you قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَِي سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings اللَّهُ عَلَيْهْ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيُكْرِمْ جَارَهُ مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing لِيَصْمُتْ مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيُكْرِمْ ضَيْفَهُ جَائِزَتُهُ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. فَهُوَ صَدَقَةٌ لَا يَحِلُّ لَهُ أَنْ يَثْوِيَ عِنْدَهُ حَتَّى يُخْرِجَهُ. It has been told to us [Yahya bin Sa'id] said, It has been told to us [Malik] said, It has been told to me [Sa'id bin Abu Sa'id] from [Abu Syuraih Al Ka'bi] said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should glorify his neighbor, whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should speak good words or be silent, and whoever believes to Allah and the last day, he should honor his guest by serving him every day and night. And the visiting period is three days, if more than that then it becomes alms, and it is not halal for him to stay overnight until he (the owner of the house) takes it out." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 7th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ وَاللَّهِ لَا يُؤْمِنُ وَاللَّهِ لَا يُؤْمِنُ وَاللَّهِ لَا يُؤْمِنُ قَالُوا وَمَا ذَاكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ الْجَارُ لَا يَأْمَنُ جَارُهُ بَم رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا بَوَائِقُهُ قَالَ شَرُّهُ. It has been narrated to us [Yazid bin Harun] said, It has been reported to us [Ibn Abu Dzi'b] from [Maqburi] from [Abu Syuraih Al Ka'bi] that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "By Allah do not believe, by Allah do not believe, by Allah do not believe." The companions asked, "What is that, O Messenger of Allah? He answered: "A person whose neighbors never feel safe from his harassment?" They asked again, "What is meant by his harassment?" He answered: "His ugliness." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 8th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing فَمَنْ جَلَسَ مِنْكُمْ عَلَى الصَّعِيدِ فَلْيُعْطِهِ حَقَّهُ قَالَ قُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا حَقُّهُ قَالَ غُضُوضُ الْبَصَرْ عَنْ مُنْكَرٍ. Has told us [Shufwan] said, Has told us [Abdullah bin Sa'id] from [his father] from [Abu Syuraih bin 'Amru Al khuza'i] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu'alaihi wa sallam said: "Do not sit on the public road, so whoever among you sits on the public road, let him give his right." Abu Syuraih said, "We then asked, "O Rasulullah, what are his rights?" He answered: "Lower your gaze, answer greetings, command goodness and prevent evil." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 9th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing سَعِيدٍ وَهُوَ يَبْعَثُ الْبُعُوثَ إِلَى مَكَّةَ ائْذَنْ لِي God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَأَبْصَرَتْهُ عَيْنَايَ حَيْثُ تَكَلَّمَ بِهِ أَنَّهُ حَمِدَ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings حَرَّمَهَا اللَّهُ وَلَمْ يُحَرِّمْهَا النَِ God willing يَسْفِكَ فِيهَا دَمًا وَلَا يَعْضِدَ فِيهَا شَجَرَةً فَإِنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing وَجَلَّ أَذِنَ لِرَسُولِهِ وَلَمْ يَأْذَنْ لَكُمْ وَإِنَّمَا أَذِنَ لِي فِيهَا سَاعَةً مِنْ نَهَارٍ وَقَدْ عََتْ God bless you فَلْيُبَلِّغْ الشَّاهِدُ الْغَائِبَفَقِيلَ لِأَبِي شُرَيْحٍ مَا قَالَ لَكَ عَمْرٌو قَالَ قَالَ أَنَا أَعْلَمُ بِذَلِكَ مِنْكَ يَا أَبَا شُرَيْحٍ إِنَّ الْحَرَمَ لَا يُعِيذُ عَاصِيًا وَلَا فَارًّا بِدَمٍ وَلَا فَارًّا بِجِزْيَةٍ وَكَذَلِكَ قَالَ God bless you إِسْحَاقَ وَلَا مَانِعَ جِزْيَةٍ. It has been told to us [Abu Kamil] said, It has been told to us [Laits] said, It has been told to me [Sa'id bin Abu Sa'id Al Maqburi] from [Abu Syuraih Al 'Adawi] that he said to 'Amru bin Sa'id who at that time was sending troops towards Makkah, "Allow me, O emir, I will tell you a hadith. Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam stood at the time of the conquest of the city of Makkah, I heard it with my ears, my heart felt it and my eyes saw it, that he said it. After giving thanks and praise to Allah, he said: "Indeed, the city of Mecca has been forbidden by Allah, while humans have not forbidden it, so it is not lawful for a person who believes in Allah and the Last Day to shed blood in it and cut down its trees. If someone denies that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam fought in it, then say to you that Allah Azza Wa Jalla has permitted it for His Messenger and has not permitted it for you, only that I was permitted for a moment during the day and then again my purity was forbidden as before. So the people who are present should convey it to the people who are not present." So it was said to [Abu Syuraih], "Then what did 'Amru say to you?" He said, "'Amru said, "I know better than you, O Abu Syuraih! Indeed, the Baitul Haram does not protect the disobedient, those who flee because of blood and those who flee from the jizyah." Hajjaj also mentioned, "With Jizyah." And [Ya'qub] also mentioned from [his father] from [Ibn Ishaq], "And people who are reluctant to pay the jizyah." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 10th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing Allah's blessings God willing God bless you وَلَا يَحِلُّ لِأَحَدٍ أَنْ يُقِيمَ عِنْدَ أَخِيهِ حَتَّى يُؤْثِمَهُ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا يُؤْثِمُهُ قَالَ يُقِيمُ عِنْدَهُ وَلَا يَجِدُ شَيْئًا يَقُوتُهُ. It has been told to us [Muhammad bin Bakr] said, It has been told to us [Abdul Hamid] said, It has been reported to me [Sa'id bin Abu Sa'id Al Maqburi] from [Abu Syuraih Al Adawi] from Khuza'ah -and he was among the companions of the Prophet radiallahu 'anhum-, from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "The visiting period is three days, so he is served day and night, and it is not lawful for a person to live in his brother's house, thereby committing a sin." The companions said, "O Messenger of Allah, what is the purpose of making him sin?" He answered: "He lived with his brother until his brother had nothing to entertain him with." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 11th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. الشُّهَدَاءْ Allah's blessings ثَمَرَةٍ أَوْ شَجَرِ الْجَنَّةِ. It has been told to us [Sufyan] from ['Amru] from [Az Zuhri] from [Ibnu Ka'b bin Malik] from [his father] that he conveyed to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, namely that the souls of the martyrs' are in green birds that hang on trees that bear fruit in heaven." And it was read before Sufyan, "his soul hangs on a tree that bears fruit, or a tree in heaven." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 12th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْكُلُ بِثَلَاثِ أَصَاِ يَمْسَحُ يَدَهُ حَتَّى يَلْعَقَهَا. It has been told to us [Abu Mu'awiyah] said, It has been told to us [Hisyam bin Urwah] from [Abdurrahman bin Sa'd] from [Ibnu Ka'b bin Malik] from [his father] he said, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) ate with three fingers, and did not wipe his hands until he licked them." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 13th Hadith. God willing God willing God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing رَسُولَ اللَّهْ يَأْكُلُ بِثَلَاثِ أَصَابِعَ فَإِذَا فَرَغَ لَعِقَهَا. It has been told to us [Ibn Numair] from [Hisham] from [Abdurrahman bin Sa'ad] that [Abdurrahman bin Ka'b bin Malik] or [Abdullah bin Ka'b bin Malik] had reported from his father [Ka'b] that he told them, that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam ate with three fingers, and when he finished he licked them." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 14th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَقْدَمُ مِنْ سَفَرٍ إِلَّا فِي الضُّحَى love وَيَقْعُدُ فِيهِ. It has been told to us [Abu Usamah] said, "It has been reported to us [Ibnu Juraij] from [Az Zuhri] from [Abdurrahman bin Ka'b] from [his father] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam did not come from traveling except in the early days, then he started by entering the mosque and praying two rak'ahs and then sitting in it." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 15th Hadith. God bless you الْمَسْعُودِيُّ عَنْ سَعْدْ God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings كَالْخَامَةِ مِنْ الزَّرْعِ تُفَيِّئُهَا الرِّيَاحُ مَرَّةً وَتَعْدِلُهَا أُخْرَى حَتَّى يَأْتِيَهُ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you انْجِعَافُهَا مَرَّةً. It has been told to us that [Yazid] and [Abu Nadlr] both said, I [Al Mas'udi] from [Sa'd bin Ibrahim] from [Ibnu Ka'b bin Malik] from [his father] he said, "Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "The parable of a believer is like (Degree: authentic. God willing God willing God willing God willing مَرَّ بِهِ وَهُوَ مُلَازِمٌ رَجُلًا فَقَالَ مَا هَذَا قَالَ يَا God bless you God bless you الشَّطْرَ وَتَرَكَ الشَّطْرَ. It has been told to us [Suraij] and [Abu Ja'far Al Mada`ini] both said, It has been told to us ['Abbad] from [Sufyan bin Husain] from [Az Zuhri] from [Abdullah bin Ka'b bin Malik] from [his father] that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam passed by him while he was having a dispute with a man. He then asked: "What is this?" he replied, "O Messenger of Allah, this person owes me." -Then he motioned with his hand for him to take half- I then said, "Yes, Messenger of Allah," then he took half and left the other half." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 17th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَِ God willing God bless you وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَدْ أَنْزَلَ فِي God willing God willing مَا تَرْمُونَهُمْ بِهِ نَضْحُ النَّبْلِ. Has told us ['Abdurrazaq] said, has told us [Ma'mar] from [Az Zuhri] from ['Abdurrahman bin Ka'b bin Malik] from [his father] that he said to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, "Indeed, Allah Azza wa Jalla has revealed in verses something that He has revealed, so he said: "Indeed, a believer fight with your sword and your tongue, for the sake of the One in Whose Hands my soul is, indeed what you throw at them is like a flying arrow." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 18th Hadith. God willing مُبَارَكٍ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ وَيُونُسَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ كَعْبٍ قَالَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ God willing كَأَنَّ وَجْهَهُ شِقَّةُ قَمَرٍ وَكُنَّا نَعْرِفُ ذَلِكَ فِيهِ. It has been told to us [Yahya bin Adam] said, it has been told to us [Ibn Mubarak] from [Ma'mar] and [Yunus] from [Az Zuhri] from ['Abdurrahman bin 'Abdullah bin Ka'b bin Malik] from [Ka'b] he said, "If Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam was happy, then his face would shine, until it was as if his face was like a part of the moon, and we used to know that about him." God willing اللَّهُ عَلَيْهْ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you كَعْبُ بْنَ مَالِكٍ فَقَالَ لَبَّيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَأَشَارَ إِلَيْهِ أَنْ ضَعْ مِنْ دَيْنِكَ الشَّطْرَ قَالَ قَدْ فَعَلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ قُمْ فَاقْضِهِ. It has been told to us ['Uthman bin 'Umar] said, it has told us [Yunus] from [Az Zuhri] from ['Abdullah bin Ka'b bin Malik] that [his father] had informed him, that during the time of Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam he once asked for payment of a debt from Ibn Abu Hadrad in the mosque, the voices of both of them were so loud that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam heard them. at that time he was at his house, then he met the two of them while removing the cloth covering his room and exclaiming: "O Ka'b bin Malik!" Ka'b replied, "O Messenger of Allah, I fulfill your call." Then he said 'You should release half of your receivables'. Ka'b then answered, "I have done it, O Messenger of Allah," he said: "Now get up and decide your debt." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 20th hadith. حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ يَعْنِي قَالَ Allah's blessings God willing God willing وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يُسَافِرَ لَمْ يُسَافِرْ God willing. It has been told to us [Ishaq] - namely Ibn Thaba' - said, it has been told to us [Ibn Lahi'ah] from [Yazid bin Abu Habib] from [Az Zuhri] from [Ibnu Ka'b bin Malik] from [his father], that if the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam wanted to travel, he did not leave except on Thursday." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 21st Hadith. God bless you God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing. It has been told to us [Sufyan] from [Ibrahim bin Maisarah] from ['Amru bin Sharid] from [Abu Rafi'] that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "The neighbor has more rights because of his proximity." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 22nd Hadith. God bless you زَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي God willing God bless you God bless you God willing أَحْسَنُهُمْ قَضَاءً. He told us [Yahya bin Sa'id] from [Malik], he told me [Zaid bin Aslam] from ['Atha' bin Yasar] from [Abu Rafi'], that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam borrowed a young camel from someone, then he got a camel from alms (zakat), so he said: "Give it to him." The friends asked, "We didn't get anything except a good camel that was seven years old." Baliau also said: "Give it to him because the best people are those who are best at repaying." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 23rd Hadith. Has told us [Ibn Numair] said, has told us [the Sharik] and [Abu Nadlr] said, has told us [the Sharik] from ['Abdullah bin Muhammad bin 'Aqil] from ['Ali bin Husain] from [Abu Rafi'] he said, "When Fatimah gave birth to Hasan, Fatimah said, "Did I not marry my child by slaughtering an animal?" she answered: "Don't, but shave your hair and give charity as much as the weight of your hair in silver to the poor and aufadl, namely the companions of Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, who are in need in the mosque, or in the courtyard of the mosque." God willing Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَسَلَّمَ قَالَأُهْدِيَتْ لَهُ فَجَعَلَهَا فِي الْقِدْرْ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ مَا هَذَا يَا أَبَا رَافِعٍ فَقَالَ شَاةٌ God willing God willing فَنَاوَلْتُهُ الذِّرَاعَ ثُمَّ قََاوِلْنِي الذِّرَاعَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing نَاوِلْنِي الذِّرَاعَ الْآخَرَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَِ إِنَّمَا لِلشَّاةْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. لَنَاوَلْتَنِي ذِرَاعًا فَذِرَاعًا مَا سَكَتَّ ثُمَّ دَعَا بِمَاءٍ فَمَضْمَضَ فَاهُ وَغَسَلَ أَطْرَافَ أَصَابِعِهِ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى ثُمَّ عَادَ إِلَيْهِمْ فَوَجَدَ عِنْدَهُمْ لَحْمًا بَارِدًا فَأَكَلَ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَمَسَّ مَاءً. Has told us [Khalaf bin Al Walid] said, has told us [Abu Ja'far] - namely Ar Razi - from [Syurahbil] from [Abu Rafi'] a former slave of Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said that he was once presented with goat meat, then he cooked it in a pot, when Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam came in he asked: "What is this, Abu Rafi'?" he answered, "O Messenger of Allah, this is goat meat that was given to us, then I cooked it in a pot," he said: "Give me the thigh, O Abu Rafi'?" so I gave him the thigh meat, then he said: "Give me the other thigh." Then I gave him the flesh of the other thigh, then he said again: "Give me the other thigh." Abu Rafi' then answered, "O Messenger of Allah, indeed goats only have two thighs," then Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said to him: "Indeed, if only you were silent, you would be able to give me goat's thigh after goat's thigh." Then he asked for water, he rinsed his mouth and washed the tips of his fingers, after that he stood up to pray. Then he returned to them and got cold meat, then he ate and returned to the mosque without touching the water at all." (Degree: authentic. Has told us [Suraij bin Nu'man] he said, has told us [Hammad] -namely Ibn Zaid- from ['Abdul Kabir bin Hakam Al Ghifari] and ['Abdullah bin 'Ubaid] from ['Udaisah] from [his father], that 'Ali bin Abu Talib came and stood in front of the door, then he said, "Is there Abu Muslim?" Said, "Yes." Ali said, "O Abu Muslim, what prevents you from taking part in this matter, even though you are hiding in it?" Abu Muslim replied, "What prevented me from that matter was the promise that had been promised to me by my lover and also your uncle's son, he promised me that if there was a slander then I would take a wooden sword, and indeed I have taken it, it is hanging." He has told us [Mu'ammal] he said, he has told us [Hammad] - namely Ibn Salamah - he said, he has told us the Shaykh who is usually called [Abu 'Amru] from [his daughter Uhban bin Shaifi] from [her father] and he was one of the companions of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, that when 'Ali arrived in Basrah, he sent someone to him (Uhban) Ali say, 'What prevents you from joining me? ' then he answered, 'My lover and your uncle's son have given me a will and said: "Indeed there will be division and strife, break your sword and take a sword made of wood, you must sit in your house until you meet the hand of the guilty or death comes." So I did what Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam ordered me to do. O 'Ali, if you are able not to fall into the wrong hands then do it." He has told us [Aswad bin 'Amir], he has told us [Hammad bin Salamah] from [Abu 'Amru Al Qasmali] from his daughter [Uhban] from [his father] that 'Ali came to Uhban saying, 'What prevents you from following me...then he mentioned the meaning of the hadith." A man then said, "And also those who shave," he said the fourth time: "And those who shave." Sufyan made a slight gesture with his hands. Sufyan said, "He said as if spreading his hands." So he said: "May Allah 'azza wajalla humiliate you," as narrated by Abu Salamah from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam." He told us ['Abdul A'la bin Hammad] he said, he told us [Wuhaib] from [Musa bin 'Uqbah] from [Abu Salamah] from [Al Aqra' bin Habis] and he said another time, 'Indeed Al Aqra'...then he mentioned a similar hadith." He has told us [Hafsh bin Ghiyats] he said, has told us [Al A'masy] from ['Adi bin Thabit Al Ansari] from [Sulaiman bin Shurd] that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam heard two people arguing, one of them had peaked his anger and said something, then the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Indeed I know one sentence that if it is said, the devil will go away from him." Sulaiman said, "Then a man came to him, then he said: "Say 'A'uudzubillahi minasy Syaithaanirrajiim (I seek refuge in Allah from the temptation of the cursed devil)'."
