Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. الْمِنْبَرِ. It has been told to us ['Attab bin Ziyad] said, It has been told to us [Abdullah] said, It has been told to us [Ibn Lahi'ah] said, It has been told to me [Al Harith bin Yazid] from [Ali bin Rabah] he said, I have heard [Mu'awiyah bin Khadij] say, "We emigrated during the time of Abu Bakr, so when we were by his side he ascended the pulpit." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 2nd hadith. God bless you قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ صَالِحٍ أَبِي حُجَيْرٍ عَنْ God bless you قَالَمَنْ غَسَّلَ مَيِّتًا وَكَفَّنَهُ وَتَبِعَهُ وَوَلِيَ God willing قَالَ أَبِي لَيْسَ بِمَرْفُوعٍ. It has been told to us [Affan] said, It has been told to us [Hammad bin Salamah] said, It has been told to us [Tsabit] from [Salih Abu Hujair] from [Mu'awiyah bin Hudaij] one of his companions, he said, "Whoever bathes a corpse, shrouds it, carries it and takes care of its corpse, then he returns with his sins forgiven." Abu 'Abdurrahman said, "My father said, "Hadith is not marfu' (up to the Prophet)." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 3rd Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing قَالَتْحَجَجْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَم God bless you وَبِلَالًا وَأَحَدُهُمَا آخِذٌ بِخِطَامِ نَاقَةِ النَّبِيِّ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing يَسْتُرُهُ مِنْ الْحَرِّ حَتَّى رَمَى جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Salamah] from [Abu Abdurrahim] from [Zaid bin Abu Unaisah] from [Yahya bin Al Hushain] from [Ummul Husain] his grandmother, has told him, he said, "I performed the Hajj with the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam at the time of the Wada Hajj, then I saw Usamah bin Zaid and Bilal, one of them holding the camel rope of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, while the others lifted their cloths to cover him from the scorching heat, so that he finished throwing the 'aqabah pilgrimage." God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing قَدْ الْتَفَعَ بِهِ مِنْ تَحْتِ إِبْطِهِ قَالَتْ فَأَنَا God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing يَقُولُ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَإِنْ أُمِّرَ God willing وَأَطِيعُوا مَا أَقَامَ فِيكُمْ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ. It has been told to us [Abu Qathn] said, It has been told to us [Yunus] - namely Ibn Abu Ishaq - from [Al 'Aizar bin Huraits] from [Ummu Hushain Al Ahmasiyah] he said, "I saw Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam during the Wada Hajj, he was giving a sermon on the pulpit wearing a burdah cloth which he had wrapped around his armpits." Ummul Hushain said, "I saw the veins in his arm tremble, then I heard him say: "O people, fear Allah even though the one who rules over you is a slave of Habsyah with a short nose, listen and obey as long as he upholds the Book of Allah Azza Wa Jalla in your midst." God bless you God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing قَالُوا فِي الثَّالِثَةِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ. It has been told to us [Waki'] said, It has been told to us [Syu'bah] from [Yahya bin Hushain] from [his grandmother] he said, "I heard the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "May Allah have mercy on those who shave their heads, may Allah have mercy on those who shave their heads." The Companions said a third time, "And those who shave their heads short?" He said: "And people who shave their hair short." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 6th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing love Allah's blessings God willing كِتَابَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ. It has been told to us [Waki'] from [Israil] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Yahya bin Al Husain] from [his mother] he said, "I heard the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam deliver a sermon during the Hajj Wada', he said: "Be fearful of Allah, listen and obey even though you are being ordered by Habsy slaves with short noses, while he upholds the book of Allah 'azza wajalla." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 7th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. عَلَيْكُما فَاسْمَعُوا لَهُ وَأَطِيعُوا. Has told us [Yahya bin Sa'id] from [Syu'bah] said, has told us [Yahya bin Hushain bin 'Urwah] said, has told me [my grandmother] she said, "I heard Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "If you are led by a slave with the Book of Allah, then obey and listen." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 8th Hadith. God willing God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing يَخْطُبُ يَقُولُ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ ثَلَاثَ مِرَارٍ قَالُوا وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ فَقَالَ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ قَالَتْ وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ إِنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing فَاسْمَعُوا لَهُ وَأَطِيعُوا. Has told us [Rauh] has told us [Syu'bah] said, I heard [Yahya bin Hushain] say, I heard [my grandmother] say, "I heard the Prophet of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam preach at Arafah, he said: "May Allah forgive those who shave their heads," -three times-, the companions said, "And who shortens his hair?" He said: "And those who who shortened his hair," -on the fourth time-. My grandmother said, "I also heard him say: "If you are led by a slave with the Book of Allah, then listen and obey." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 9th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ يَقُولُ لَوْ God bless you عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَاسْمَعُوا لَهُ وَأَطِيعُوا. It has been told to us [Muhammad bin Ja'far] said, it has been told to us [Syu'bah] from [Yahya bin Hushain] said, I heard [my grandmother] tell, that she heard the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam khutbah during the Hajj Wada', he said: "If you are ordered by a slave who leads you with the book of Allah 'azza wajalla, then listen and obey him." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 10th Hadith. God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God bless you وَهُوَ وَاقِفٌ بِعَرَفَةَ وَعَلَيْهِ بُرْدَةٌ قَدْ الْتَفَعَ God bless you God willing اللَّهِ. Has told us [Waki'] from [Yunus] from [Al 'Aizar bin Hurais] from [Ummu Al Hushain Al A'masiyah] he said, "I heard the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say, at that time he was in Arafat wearing a burdah shawl, he said: "Listen and obey, if you are ordered by a habsy slave while he upholds the Book of Allah." (Derajat: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 11th Hadith. God bless you الْعَيْزَارّ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. Allah's blessings أَنْظُرُ إِلَى عَضَلَةْ God willing عَلَيْكُما مَا أَقَامَ فِيكُمْ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ. It has been told to us [Abu Nu'aim] said, it has been told to us [Yunus] from [Al 'Aizar bin Huraits] said, I heard [Umm Hushain Al Ahmasiyah] say, "I saw the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam at the time of the Hajj Wada' wearing a shawl that had been torn from under his armpits, and I saw the veins of his big arms shaking, he said: "O people, Fear Allah and obey even if you are ordered by a slave with a snub nose, while he enforces the Book of Allah among you." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 12th Hadith. God bless you God willing سَمِعَ جَدَّتَهُ قَالَتْسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing يَقُولُ وَلَوْ اسْتُعْمِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ عَبْدٌ يَقُودُكُمْ بِكِتَابِ اللَّهَ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَالطَّاعَةَ فِي الْعُسْرَ وَالْمَكْرَهِ. Has told us ['Affan] said, has told us [Syu'bah] said, has told us [Yahya bin Al Hushain] has told me, that he heard [his grandmother] say, "I heard the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam preaching at Arafah, he said: "Even though you are ruled by a slave, if he applies the Book of Allah then listen and obey." Abdullah said, "I heard my father said, "Really, I think it is obligatory to always listen to and obey him, whether times are difficult or easy, good or bad." (Degree: authentic. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings لَيْسَ الْكَاذِبُ بِأَنْ يَقُولَ الرَّجُلُ فِي إِصْلَاحِ مَا بَيْنَ النَّاسِ. It has been told to us [Bisyr bin Al Mufadlal] said, it has been told to us [Abdurrahman bin Ishaq] from [Az Zuhri] from [Humaid bin Abdurrahman] from his mother [Ummu Kulthum] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, that he said: "It is not said to be a liar, a man who speaks for the purpose of making peace between people." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 14th Hadith. God bless you كَيْسَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ God willing God willing God bless you رَسُولَ اللَّهْ God bless you خَيْرًا أَوْ يَقُولُ خَيْرًا. Has told us [Ya'qub] said, has told us [my father] from [Salih bin Kaisan] said, has told us [Muhammad bin Muslim bin 'Ubaidullah bin Shihab] that [Humaid bin Abdurrahman bin 'Auf] told him that his mother [Ummu Kulthum bint 'Uqbah] had told him that he had heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "It is not said that a liar is someone who wants to make peace between people, then he conveys good news or says good things." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 15th Hadith. وَسْمَعْهُ يُرَخِّصُ فِي شَيْءٍ مِمَّا يَقُولُ God willing بَيْنَ النَّاِ God willing God willing اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. And [Umm Kulthum] said, "I have never heard him provide relief for anything spoken by humans except in three things: in war, reconciling between humans and a husband telling his wife, or a wife telling her husband." Umm Kulthum bint Uqbah was one of the women who emigrated and pledged allegiance to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 16th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing خَيْرًا وَقَالَ مَرَّةً وَنَمَى خَيْرًا. Has told us [Abdurrazaq] said, has told us [Ma'mar] from [Az Zuhri] from [Humaid bin Abdurrahman] from his mother [Ummu Kulthum bint 'Uqbah] she was one of the women who participated in the first emigration, he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "It is not said to be a liar someone who makes peace between people, then he says something good, or conveying good news." And once he said, "And conveying good news." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 17th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. Has told us [Umayyah bin Khalid] said, has told us [Muhammad bin 'Abdullah bin Muslim] the son of his brother Az Zuhri, from his uncle [Az Zuhri] from [Humaid bin Abdurrahman] from [his mother] that he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "QUL HUWALLAAHU AHAD (Say (O Muhammad) He is Allah Almighty) equals one third of the Qur'an." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 18th Hadith. God bless you يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْهَادِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ عَن عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْن God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God bless you God willing God willing God willing زَوْجَهَا. Has told us [Yunus bin Muhammad] said, has told us [Laits] -namely Ibn Sa'd- from [Yazid] -namely Ibn Al Hadi- from [Abdul Wahab] from [Ibnu Shihab] from [Humaid bin Abdurrahman bin 'Auf] from his mother [Ummu Kulthum bint 'Uqbah] he said, "I have never heard the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam give the slightest relief from lies except in three cases: someone who says a word with the intention of making peace, someone who says a word in war and a (husband) who says it to his wife, or a wife says it to her husband." God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. كُلْثُومٍ قَالَ أَبِي و حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind رَسُولُ اللَّهْ God willing God bless you God willing مَرْدُودَةً عَلَيَِ وَكَانَ كَمَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَرُدَّتْ عَلَيْهِ هَدِيَّتُهُ فَأَعْطَى كُلَّ Allah's blessings سَلَمَةَ بَقِيَّةَ الْمِسْكِ وَالْحُلَّةَ. Has told us [Yazid Bin Harun] said, has told us [Muslim Bin Khalid] from [Musa Bin Uqbah] from his mother [Ummu Kulthum]. Abdullah said; and has told us [Husain bin Muhammad] he said, has told us [Muslim] -then he mentioned- and he mentioned from his mother [Ummu Kulthum bint Abu Salamah] he said, "When the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam married Umm Salamah, he said to her: "Indeed I have given gifts of jewelry and some Uqiyah of misk oil to Najasyi, and I did not see Najasyi unless she was dead, while my gift was returned to me. If it is true that the gift returns to me, then it will be yours." Musa bin Uqbah said, "So he did as the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, the gift was returned to him, so he gave each of his wives one uqiyah of musk oil and gave all the remaining jewelry and oil to Umm Salamah." God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing الرَّحْمَنْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَيْسَ الْكَذَّابُ مَنْ أَصْلَحَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ فَقَالَ خَيْرًا أَوْ نَمَى خَيْرًا. Has told us [Isma'il bin Ibrahim] said, has told us [Ma'mar] from [Az Zuhri] from [Humaid bin Abdurrahman] from his mother [Ummu Kulthum bint 'Uqbah] he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "It is not said to be a liar who makes peace between people, then he speaks well or conveys good news." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 21st Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing عَوْفٍ عَنْ أُمِّهِ أُمِّ كُلْثُومٍ بِنْتِ عُقْبَةَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْرَخَّصَ النَّبِيُِ مِنْ الْكَذِبِ فِي ثَلَاثٍ فِي الْحَرْبِ وَك بَيْنَ النَّاسِ وَقَوْلِ الرَّجُلِ لِامْرَأَتِهِ. It has been told to us [Hajjaj] said, it has been told to us [Ibnu Juraij] from [Ibn Shihab] from [Humaid bin Abdurrahman bin Auf] from his mother [Ummu Kulthum bint 'Uqbah] that he said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam gave relief for lying in three places; in times of war, in times of reconciliation between people and one's words to his wife (to foster love)." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 22nd Hadith. God willing God willing God willing God willing رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَيْسَ بِالْكَذَّابِ مَنْ أَصْلَحَ بَيْنَ Allah's blessings وَنَمَى خَيْرً. It has been told to us [Abdurrazaq] said, it has been told to us [Ma'mar] from [Az Zuhri] said, it has been told to me [Humaid bin Abdurrahman bin Auf] from his mother [Ummu Kulthum bint 'Uqbah] he said, "Ummu Kulthum was one of the women who emigrated for the first time, she said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "It is not said that someone is a liar. reconcile between people, then he says good things or conveys good news," he said again: "And conveys good news." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 23rd Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَهُوَ يَسْعَى بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ يَقُولُ لَا يُقْطَعُ الْأَبْطَحُ إِلَّا شَدًّا. Has told us [Rauh] and [Abu Nu'aim] both said, have told us [Hisyam bin Abu Abdullah] from [Budail bin Maisarah] from [Shafiyah bint Syaibah] from [Ummu Walad] belonging to the Shaibah, that he saw the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam performing sa'i between Shafa and Marwah, saying: "This valley cannot be crossed except with difficulty." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 24th Hadith. God bless you قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بُدَيْلُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ عَنِ الْمُِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you وَوْخَةٍ وَهُوَ يَسْعَى فِي بَطْنِ الْمَسِيلِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ لَا يُقْطَعُ الْوَادِي إِلَّا شَدًّا وَأَظُنُّهُ قَالَ وَقَدْ انْكَشَفَ الثَّوْبُ عَنْ رُكْبَتَيْهْ قَالَ الْأَبْطَحُ إِلَّا شَدًّا وَسَمِعَتْهُ يَقُولُ لَا يُقْطَعُ الْأَبْطَحُ إِلَّا شَدًّا. Has told us ['Affan] said, has told us [Hammad bin Zaid] said, has told us [Budail bin Maisarah] from [Mughirah bin Hakim] from [Shafiyah bint Syaibah] from [a woman] among them, that he saw the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam from a small door while he was just performing sa'i in the middle of the water channel, he said: "This valley cannot be passed except by hard." And I think he said, "Indeed his cloth is torn from his knees," then Hammad said, "it cannot be passed through," or said, "the valley, except with great difficulty." The woman also heard him say: "A valley that cannot be crossed except with great difficulty." (Degree: authentic. Source: Musnad Ahmad.) 25th Hadith. God willing عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنْ God willing أُمِّ وَرَقَةَ بِنْتّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهْ يَزُورُهَا كُلَِ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind مَرْضَاكُمْ وَأُدَاوِي جَرْحَاكُمْ لَعَلَِ لِي شَهَادَةً قَالَ قَرِّي فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يُهْدِي لَكِ شَهَادَةً وَكَانَتْ أَعْتَقَتْ جَارِيَةً لَهَا وَغُلَامًا عَنْ دُبُرٍ مِنْهَا فَطَالَ عَلَيْهِمَا فَغَمَّاهَا فِي الْقَطِيفَةِ حَتَّى مَاتَتْ وَهَرَبَا فَأَتَى عُمَرُ فَقِيلَ لَهُ إِنَّ أُمَّ وَرَقَةَ قَدْ قَتَلَهَا God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَزُورُ أُمَّ وَرَقَةَ يَقُولُ انْطَم God bless you وَفُلَانًا غُلَامَهَا غَمَّاهَا ثُمَّ هَرَبَا فَلَا يُؤْوِيهِمَا أَحَدٌ وَمَنْ وَجَدَهُمَا فَلْيَأْتِ بِهِمَا فَأُتِيَ بِهِمَا فَصُلِبَا فَكَانَا أَوَّلَ مَصْلُوبَيْنِ. Has told us [Abu Nu'aim] said, has told us [Al Walid bin Abdullah bin Jumai'] said, has told me [Abdurrahman bin Khallad Al Anshari], and [my grandmother] from [Ummu Waraqah bint Abdillah bin Al Harith] that Nabiyullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam visited her every Friday, Umm Waraqah said to her, "O Nabiyullah, this is "On the day of the Battle of Badr, will you allow me to go out with you to care for the sick and heal your wounded, may Allah grant me martyrdom?" Then the Prophet answered: "Stay at home because Allah Azza Wa Jalla will grant you martyrdom." Meanwhile, the woman had promised freedom to her female slaves and male slaves after she died. Then Umm Waraqah stayed with her two slaves for a long time, but then, both of them held her in a thick cloth until she died. The two slaves then ran away, when Umar came, he told him about the incident, that Umm Waraqah had been killed by a male slave and a female slave, then both of them ran away. So Umar stood up in front of the people and made a speech, "Indeed, Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam once visited Umm Waraqah and said: "You go, we will visit As Syahidah (a woman who died a martyr)," and indeed Fulanah and Fulan his slave had covered her with a thick cloth, then both of them ran away. So let no one protect them both, whoever gets both of them, let him take both." So both of them were taken and then crucified, then this was the beginning of people being crucified in Islam." I said, "Nothing. ablution for anyone who has touched it." Marwan then said, "[Busrah bint Shafwan] has informed me that she has heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) mention what causes a person to perform ablution. So the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Touching the private parts requires performing ablution." Urwah said, "I kept arguing with Marwan until he sent one of his bodyguards to meet Busrah, asking about what he had said. Busrah then sent back with the information that Marwan told me from him." Has told us [Ishaq bin Yusuf Al Azraq] said, has informed us [Hisyam] from [Hafshah] from [Ummu Athiyah] he said, "One of the daughters of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam died, Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam then came to us, he said: "Bathe her with bidara leaves, and bathe her with an odd number, three times, or five times, or more than that.
