Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. حَسَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ الْحَسَنْ Allah's blessings God bless you. Has told us [Bisyr bin Thabit Al Bazzar] has told us [Hassan bin Muslim] from [Yunus bin Ubaid] from [Al Hasan] he said: "Indeed there are some people who seek knowledge but they do not want it for the sake of Allah and not to obtain what is with Him, so they never stop seeking knowledge until they desire it for the sake of Allah and to obtain what is with Him." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 2nd hadith. God willing زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ الْعُلَمَاءُ ثَلَاثَةٌ فَرَجُلٌ God bless you God bless you عَاشَ النَّاسُ فِي عِلْمِهِ وَكَانَ وَبَالًا عَلَيْهِ. Has told us [Sulaiman bin Harb] has told us [Hammad bin Zaid] from [Ayyub] from [Abu Qilabah] he said: "[Abu Muslim Al Khaulani] once said: There are three 'Ulama': First the Ulama' who live by their knowledge and other people live by their knowledge, Second the Ulama' who live by their knowledge and no one gets the benefit of that knowledge, and thirdly the Ulama' whose people live by their knowledge, but their knowledge This actually hurts himself." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 3rd Hadith. God willing الْأَسْوَدْ may Allah bless him and give him peace يَحْكُمُ لِنَفْسِهِ قَالَ يَا رَبِّ أَيُّ عِبَادِكَ أَغْنَى قَالَ أَرْضَاهُمْ بِمَا قَسَمْتُ لَهُ قَالَ يَا رَبِّ أَيُّ عِبَادِكَ أَخْشَى لَكَ قَالَ أَعْلَمُهُمْ بِي. Has reported to us [Ubaidullah bin Musa] from [Uthman bin Al Aswad] from ['Atha`] he said: "Prophet Musa 'alaihaihissalam: 'O Rabbi, which of Your servants is the wisest?, Allah answered: 'that is the one who punishes people as he punishes himself. He also said: 'O my Lord, which of Your servants is the richest? Allah answered: 'He is the one who is most willing to share what I share. to him'. He also asked: 'O my Lord, which of Your servants is most afraid of You? Allah answered: 'Those who know Me best'." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 4th Hadith. Allah's blessings عَنْ الْحَسَنْ God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ. Has told us [Makki bin Ibrahim] has told us [Hisyam] from [Al Hasan] he said: "There are two kinds of knowledge, namely knowledge in the heart, that is useful knowledge and knowledge that is in the mouth, that is Allah's proof of Ibn Adam (human)." ['Ashim bin Yusuf] reported to us from [Fudhail bin Iyadh] from [Hisyam] from [Al Hasan] from Rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam like that". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 5th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing عَبْدِ اللَّهْ God willing تَعَلَّمُوا تَعَلَّمُوا فَإِذَا عَلِمْتُمْ فَاعْمَلُوا. Has reported to us ['Amr bin 'Aun] has reported to us [Khalid bin Abdullah] from [Yazid bin Abu Ziyad] from [Ibrahim] from ['Alqamah] from [Abdullah] he said: "Learn all of you, learn all of you, If you all already know then practice it". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 6th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind وَأَنْتُمْ تُرْزَقُونَ فِيهَا بِغَيْرِ عَمَلٍ وَلَا God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God bless you God bless you God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you الْعِلْمْ وَقَدْ عَلِمَ أَنَّ ذَلِكَ مِنْ عِلْمِ اللَّهِ وَقُدْرَِهِ كَيْفَ يَكُونُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مَنْ اتَّهَمَ اللَّهَ فِيمَا قَضَى لَهُ فَلَيْسَ يَرْضَى شَيْئًا أَصَابَهُ كَيْفَ God willing مِنْ آخِرَتِهِ وَهُوَ فِي الدُّنْيَا أَفْضَلُ رَغْبَةً كَيْفَ God bless you God وَهُوَ مُقْبِلٌ عَلَى دُنْيَاهُ وَمَا يَضُرُّهُ أَشْهَى God willing God willing لِيُخْبِرَ بِهِ وَلَا يَطْلُبُهُ لِيَعْمَلَ بِهِ. Has reported to us [Sa'id bin 'Amir] from [Hisyam] the author of the book Ad Dastawa`i he said: "I once read in a book, it has come to me that the book is from the words of Isa 'alaihissalam: 'You all do good deeds for the world even though you are all provided with sustenance there without charity, and you all do not do good deeds for the hereafter and even though you all are not given sustenance there except by doing good deeds. Woe to all of you ulama' su` (evil scholars), you all take away the reward, while your deeds are wasted. You are worried that the owner of the deeds (Allah) will ask for his deeds, and it is feared that you will all go out of the wide world into the darkness of the grave and its narrowness. Allah forbids all of you from making mistakes as He commands all of you to pray and fast. as a person of knowledge while he blasphemes against Allah for what He has determined, and he is not pleased with something that befalls him? How can he be considered a person of knowledge, someone who prioritizes the world on his side rather than the hereafter and he is more concerned with the problems of the world? those with knowledge, people who seek Al Kalam (knowledge) to simply be informed and do not seek it to do good deeds?". God willing God willing يُقَالُ تَعَلَّمُوا الْعِلْمَ وَانْتَفِعُوا بِهِ وَلَا تَعَلَّمُوهُ لِتَتَجَمَّلُوا بِهْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing كَمَا يَتَجَمَّلُ ذُو الْبِزَّةِ بِبِزَّتِهِ. It has been reported to us that [Ubaidullah bin Abdul Majid] has told us [Hariz] from [Habib bin Ubaid] that he said: "Study knowledge and take advantage of it, and do not study it because you want to improve yourself with knowledge. Who knows, maybe you will live long, and at that time the person who has knowledge will improve himself with his knowledge, like the person who has cloth and uses it to beautify himself." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 8th Hadith. God bless you God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings فَقَالَ لَا تَسْأَلُونِي عَنْ الشَّرِّ وَاسْأَلُونِي عَنْ God willing God willing خِيَارُ الْعُلَمَاءِ. Has told us [Nu'aim bin Hammad] has told us [Baqiyyah] from [Al `Ahwash bin Hakim] from [his father] he said: "A man asked Rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam about evil, then Rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam answered: "Don't ask me about evil, and ask me about good." The Messenger said three times, then he said: "Know that the worst evil is the evil of the ulama, and the best good is the good of the ulama." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 9th Hadith. Allah's blessings God bless you قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً. It has been reported to us that [Abu 'Ashim] said: "It seems that [Sofyan] once said to me: "Once there was a man who did not seek knowledge until he was willing to sacrifice for worship, and that took forty years." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 10th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing God willing فَهُوَ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ. It has been reported to us that [Muhammad bin Yusuf] from [Sufyan] from [Burd bin Sinan Abu Al 'Ala`] from [Makhul] said: "Whoever seeks knowledge just to argue with stupid people, to compete with the scholars and to seek the face of humans, he will go to hell." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 11th Hadith. God willing يَمَانٍ عَنْ الْمِنْهَالِ بْنِ خَلِيفَةَ عَنْ مَطَرٍ God willing قَالَ إِنَّمَا يُحْفَظُ حَدِيثُ الرَّجُلِ عَلَى قَدْرِ نِيَّتِهِ. It has been reported to us [Isma'il bin Abban] has told us [Yahya bin Yaman] from [Minhal bin Khalifah] [from [Mathar Al Warraq] from [Syahr bin Hausyab] from [Ibn Abbas] may Allah be pleased with him, he said: "A person's words will be remembered according to the level of his intentions." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 12th Hadith. God willing عَنْ أَيُّوبَ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو قِلَابَوا أَهْلَ الْأَهْوَاءْ God bless you عَلَيْكُمْ مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْرِفُونَ. Has reported to us [Sulaiman bin Harb] from [Hammad bin Zaid] from [Ayyub] he said: "[Abu Qilabah] once said: 'Do not associate with people who follow their desires, and do not argue with them, because I am afraid that it will lead you astray, or mix up the things that you know' ". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 13th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing جَلَسْتُ إِلَى طَلْقِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ فَقَكَ جَلَسْتَ إِلَى طَلْقِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ لَا تُجَالِسَنَّهُ. Has told us [Sulaiman bin Harb] has told us [Hammad bin Zaid] from [Ayyub] he said: "[Sa'id bin Jubair] once saw me sitting with Thalq bin Habib, then he said to me: 'Haven't I seen you sitting with Thalq bin Habib, don't sit with him'". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 14th Hadith. God willing God willing جَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ إِنَّ فُلَان٩ God willing on the internet. Has told us [Abu 'Ashim] has told us [Haiwah bin Syuraih] has told me [Abu Shakhr] from [Nafi'] from [Ibn Umar] may Allah be pleased with him: "A man came to see him and said: 'Indeed so and so conveys greetings to you', then he said: 'The news has come to me that he has committed heresy, if it is true that he has committed heresy then do not convey it My greetings to him'". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 15th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing God willing. Has told us [Makhlad bin Malik] has told us [Abdur Rahman bin Maghra`] has told us [Al A'masy] he said: "[Ibrahim] is of the opinion that talking about experts in heresy does not include backbiting." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 16th Hadith. God willing God bless you الْهَوَى لِأَنَّهُ يَهْوِي بِصَاحِبِهِ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Humaid] has told us [Jarir] from [Ibn Syubrumah] from [As Sya'bi] he said: "It is only called lust, because it leads the perpetrator into a trap." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 17th Hadith. Allah's blessings قَالَ دَخَلَ رَجُلَانِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الْأَهْوَاِ سِيرِينَ فَقَالَا يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ نُحَدِّثُق لَا قَالَا فَنَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكَ آيَةً مِنْ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ قَالَ لَا لِتَقُومَانِ عَنِّي أَوْ لَأَقُومَنَّ قَالَ فَخَرَجَا فَقَالَ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَمَا كَانَ عَلَيْكَ أَنْ يَقْرَأَا عَلَيْكَ آيَةً مِنْ كِتَابِ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings كِتَابِ اللَّهِ فَيُحَرِّفَانِهَا فَيَقِرُّ ذَلِكَ فِي قَلْبِي. Has reported to us [Sa'id bin 'Amir] from [`Asma` bin 'Ubaid] he said: "There were two people (who were known) who indulged in lust and came to see [Ibn Sirin] then both of them said; 'O Abu Bakr, may we tell you a hadith?', he answered: 'No', both of them said: 'How about we read to you a verse from the book of Allah?, he answered: 'no, you two left me or I who had to leave you both'. He said: 'Then the two people left'. Some people said to him: 'O Abu Bakr, why don't you just let him read a verse from the Book of Allah', he replied: 'I was afraid he read a verse to me (but) then they distorted the meaning, and it could be embedded in my heart' ". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 18th Hadith. God willing God willing God bless you God bless you God. It has been reported to us [Sa'id] from [Salam bin Abu Muthi']: "There was a person (who always) followed his desires and said to [Ayyub]: 'O Abu Bakr, may I ask you just one sentence?", Abu Bakr turned away while gesturing with his finger, and he did not answer even a single sentence, and Sa'id gave us a signal with his right little finger." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 19th hadith. God willing عَنْ كُلْثُومِ بْنْ God willing أَزِيشَانْ. Has reported to us [Sulaiman bin Harb] from [Hammad bin Zaid] from [Kultsum bin Jabr]: "There was someone asking [Sa'id bin Jubair] about something and he did not answer, then there was someone who asked: 'Why do you behave like that? ', he answered: 'Azisyan (he is part of those who like to make heresy and follow their desires) ' ". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 20th hadith. God willing الْحَسَنْ أَصْحَابَ الْأَهْوَاءِ وَلَا تُجَادِلُوهُما مِنْهُمْ. Has told us [Ahmad] has told us [Za`idah] from [Hisyam] from [Al Hasan] and [Ibn Sirin] both said: "Do not sit around with people who indulge or follow their desires, do not argue with them and do not listen to them." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 21st Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing لِأَنَّهُمْ يَهْوُونَ فِي النَّارِ. Has told us [Ahmad] has told us [Sharik] from [`Umay] from [As Sha'bi] he said: "They are called Ashhabul Ahwa`, because they will fall into the fire of hell". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 22nd Hadith. God willing God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَهُوَ يَحْلِفُ عَلَيْهِ. It has been reported to us [Bisyr bin Al Hakam] has told us [Sufyan] from [Ibn Maisarah] he said: 'I did not see a single person, for whom the noble and the simple were the same by his side except [Thawus], and he swore to such things." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 23rd Hadith. God willing Allah's blessings God willing أَحَدًا. Has told us [Bisyr bin Al Hakam] has told us [Sufyan] from [Az Zuhri] he said: "In the past we didn't like writing knowledge until finally the government forced us, so we (finally) didn't like to forbid someone from doing that." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 24th Hadith. God willing مُعَاذٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ قَالَ كَلَّمُوا مُحَمَّدًا فِي God bless you الزِّنْجْ هَذَا سَوَاءً. Has told us [Yusuf bin Musa] has told us [Mu'adz bin Mu'adz] has told us [Ibnu 'Aun] he said: "People commented on [Muhammad] because he served someone he was talking to. Kontan Aun bin Abdullah commented: Even though the person he was talking to was from the Az Zinji tribe (who was black), he and Abdullah bin Muhammad were still the same to me." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 25th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you سَلْمُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ ذَلِكَ أَهْوَنُ لَهُ عَلَيَّ. Having reported to us [Yahya bin Hassan] from [Hammad bin Zaid] from [As Shalt bin Rasyid] he said: "Salam bin Qutaibah once asked [Thawus] about a problem, but he did not answer, then it was said to him: 'The one who asked you this is Salam bin Qutaibah' he answered: 'Such news does not affect me' ". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 26th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you النَّاسِ مَخَافَةَ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ. Has reported to us [Ibrahim bin Ishak] from [Baqiyyah] he said: [Habib bin Salih] once said: 'I have never been afraid of anyone as much as I was afraid of Khalid bin Ma'dan". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 27th Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُم مُغِيرَةَ قَالَ كُنَّا نَهَابُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ هَيْبَِ الْأَمِيرِ. Has told us [Abu Nu'aim] has told us [Sufyan] from [Mughirah] he said: "We respect (respect) Ibrahim as we respect a King." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 28th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing يَوْمًا بِحَدِيثٍ فَقُمْتُ إِلَيْهِ فَاسْتَعَدْتُهُ فَقَالَ لِي مَا كُلَّ سَاعَةٍ أَحْلُبُ فَأُشْرَبُ. It has been reported to us that [Sulaiman bin Harb] has told us [Hammad Ibnu Zaid], from [Ayyub] he said: "One day [Sa'id bin Jubair] spoke about a hadith, then I stood up to him and asked him to repeat it again," then he said: "It is not every time that I express milk and drink it." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 29th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. أَبِي قَيْسٍ عَنا كَرِهَ الْحَدِيثَ فِي الطَّرِيقِ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Humaid] has told us [Harun Ibn Al Mughirah] and [Yahya bin Dlurais] from ['Amr bin Abu Qais] from ['Atha`]: "[Abu Abdur Rahman] hates telling a hadith on the street". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 30th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing Allah's blessings مِمَّنْ سَمِعْتَ هَذَا فَغَضِبَ وَمَنَعَنَا حَدِيثَهُ حَتَّى قَامَ. Has told us [Abdullah bin Imran] has told us [Yahya bin Dlurais] has told us [Abu Sinan] from [Habib bin Abu Thabit] he said: "We were beside [Sa'id bin Jubair], then he was talking about a hadith. A man said to him: 'Who told you about this (hadith), or from whom did you hear this (hadith)?', then he got angry and did not continue discussing the hadith until go away." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 31st Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing رَفَقْتُ بِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ لَأَصَبْتُ مِنْهُ عِلْمًا كَثِيرًا. It has been reported to us by [Abu Ma'mar Isma'il bin Ibrahim], from [Sufyan] from [Az Zuhri] from [Abu Salamah] he said: "If only I had been friends with Ibn Abbas, I would have gained a lot of knowledge." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 32nd Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing رَأَيْتُ أَحَدًا أَكْرَمَ لِلْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَبِي. Has reported to us [Al Hakam bin Al Mubarak] has reported to us [Baqiyyah] from [Ummu Abdullah bint Khalid] he said: "I have never seen anyone who glorifies knowledge more than [my father]". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 33rd Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. مِسْعَرٍ قَالَ قَالَ سَعْدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ لَا يُحَدِّثْ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهْ Has told us [Muhammad bin Ahmad] has told us [Sufyan] from [Mas'ar] he said: " [Sa'ad bin Ibrahim] once said: "No one should relate a hadith from Rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam unless it is believed." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 34th Hadith. God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace God willing God willing. Has reported to us [Muhammad bin Humaid] has told us [Jarir] from ['Ashim] from [Ibn Sirin] he said: "In the past, they did not ask about the sanad (path of transmission of hadith), then they asked to know the transmitters, if he was someone who followed the sunnah then they took his (hadith), and if not, they did not take it." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 35th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. فَحَدِّثْنِي عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ فَإِنَّهُ حَدَّثَنِي God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing أَخْرَمَ مِنْهُ حَرْفًا. Having told us [Muhammad] has told us [Jarir] from ['Umarah bin Al Qa'qa'] he said: "I [Brahim] once said: 'If you want to tell (hadith) then tell it through Abu Zur'ah, because he told me one hadith, then I asked him the following year, and not a single letter changed." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 36th Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا عَك God bless you فَلْيَنْظُرْ الرَّجُلُ عَمَّنْ يَأْخُذُ دِينَهُ. Terlah reported to us ['Affan] has told us [Hammad bin Zaid] from [Ibn 'Aun] from [Muhammad] he said: "This knowledge (sanad) is (part of) religion, so someone should pay attention to who he takes his religion from." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 37th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing مُغِيرَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ كَانُوا إِذَا أَتَوْا God bless you وَإِلَى سَمْتِهِ وَإِلَى هَيْئَتِهِ. Has reported to us [Isma'il bin Ibrahim] from [Husyaim] from [Mughirah] from [Ibrahim] he said: "In the past, when they came to someone to take (a hadith), they looked (first) about that person's prayers and his sunnah and attitude to life, then they took his (hadith)." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 38th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing God bless you God bless you لِغَيْرِهَا أَحْسَنُ وَإِنْ أَسَاءَهَا قُمْنَا عَنْهُ وَقُلْنَا هُوَ لِغَيْرِهَا أَسْوَأُ قَالَ أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ لَفْظُهُ نَحْوُ هَذَا. Has informed us [Abu Ma'mar Isma'il bin Ibrahim] has informed us [Abdullah bin Abu Ja'far Ar Razi] from [his father] from [Ar Rabi'] from [Abul 'Aliyah] he said: "In the past, when we met someone to take (knowledge), then we saw (how) he prayed, if he was good in performing it, we sat with him, then we said: He (in deeds other than prayer) is definitely better good, but if he is bad at performing it, then we immediately leave him, then we say: 'He (in deeds other than prayer) is definitely worse." Abu Ma'mar said: "The editorial is like this". (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 39th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing God bless you.
