Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Shall I teach you a few sentences, if you say them you will be able to catch up with those who have preceded you, and no one after you will be able to catch up with you except those who do what you do?" Abu Dzar said, "So I said, "O Messenger of Allah, okay." He then said: "Make tasbih after each prayer thirty-three times, make tahmid thirty-three times, make takbir thirty-three times and you close with the words LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAAHU WAHDAHU LAA SYARIIKA LAHU, LAHUL MULKU WA LAHUL HAMDU WA HUWA 'ALAA KULLI SYAI`IN QADIIR (There is no god worthy of worship except Allah alone, He has no partners, to Him is the whole kingdom and to Him is all the praise, and He is All-Capable of all things)." He said, "Yes." The person who asked said, "Make these sentences twenty-five times, twenty-five times, and make them a tahlil." If there is a deficiency in him, then Allah Ta'ala says to His angels: 'See whether My servant has the sunnah practices? Then perfect what is less than perfect in the obligatory worship.' Then zakat, then other practices are also like that (calculation)." Abu Muhammad said, "I don't know anyone who interprets this hadith other than Hammad." Has told us [Abu 'Ashim] from [Abdul Hamid bin Ja'far] has told me [Muhammad bin 'Amru bin 'Atha`] he said; I heard [Abu Humaid As Sa'idi] among the ten companions of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, one of whom was Abu Qatadah, say, "I am the person who knows the prayers of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam best. Then they said, "Why is that possible? Even though you were not the one who followed him the most, and were not the one who accompanied the Messenger of Allah the longest among us?" He said, "That's right." They said, "Explain! " Abu Humaid then said, "When Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam stood up to perform prayer, he raised his hands until they were level with his shoulders, then took the takbir until each bone took its place, then read the letter. Then he took the takbir and raised his hands until they were parallel to his shoulders, then bowed and placed his palms on his knees until each bone returned to its place, he did not bow his head and did not look up. Then he raised his head and said: 'SAMI'ALLAAHU LIMAN HAMIDAHU (May Allah hear those who praise Him).' Then raised both hands until they were level with his shoulders." According to Abu 'Ashim Abu Humaid said, "Until every bone returned to its place in a straight line, then he said: 'Allaahu akbar (God is Greatest).' Then get down to the floor and stretch his arms from both sides of his body, then prostrate himself, then raise his head. Then he bent his left leg and sat on it while opening the toes of both feet when prostrating, then came back and prostrated, then raised his head while saying: 'ALLAAHU AKBAR and bent his left leg and sat on it straight until every bone returned to its proper place. Then he stood up and performed another rak'ah like that. When he stood up from two prostrations, he took takbir and raised his hands until they were parallel to his shoulders as he did at the beginning of the prayer. Then he did this for the rest of his prayer until when he prostrated or sat down, where there was a greeting, he put his left leg back and sat in a condition of tawaruk (sitting position with both buttocks on the floor) tilted to the left side." The narrator said, "People said, "You are right, that's the prayer of Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 5th Hadith. Has reported to us [Sa'id bin 'Amir] from [Sa'id bin Abu 'Arubah] from [Qatadah] from [Yunus bin Jubair] from [Hiththan bin Abdullah Ar Raqasyi] he said, "[Abu Musa] prayed with us one of the prayers at night (Maghrib or Isha prayer). Then a man said, "The prayer is accompanied by good deeds and zakat." So when Abu Musa finished During his prayer he said, "Which of you said such and such words?" The people became silent. Abu Musa said, "Perhaps you said it, O Hiththan." Indeed, I was worried that you would reproach me for it." Then a man among the people said, "I said it, and I want nothing in those words except good." Then Abu Musa said, "Don't you know what you say in your prayers? Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam once preached in front of us, he taught us the prayer and explained the sunnah to us." The narrator said, "I thought he said: "When the prayer has been called then let one of you be the imam for the others. Then if the imam is takbir then make the takbir, if he says; 'GHAIRIL MAGHDHUUBI 'ALAIHIM WA LADLAALLIIN, then say; AAMIIN, then Allah will grant you. If he prostrates and bows, then do takbir and bow, for indeed the Imam prostrates before you and bows before you." If he says; SAMI'ALLAHU LIMAN HAMIDAHU (May Allah hear the praise of those who praise Him) then say; ALLAHUMMA RABBANAA LAKAL HAMDU (O Allah, our Rabb, all praise belongs to You), or he says; RABBANAA WA LAKAL HAMDU (O our Rabb, and To You is all praise.) For Allah has said through the word of His Prophet; SAMI'ALLAHU LIMAN HAMIDAHU. And if he prostrates, then prostrate and prostrate, because the Imam prostrates and prostrates before you." The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam then said "That time (the priest's time) is the same as that time (the congregation). If you are seated, then make it the first thing that one of you says is; 'AT TAHIYYAATUTH THAYYIBAATUSH SHALAWAATU LILLAAH, AS SALAAMU, or SALAAMUN 'ALAIKA AYYUHAN NABIIYU WA RAHMATULLAAHI WA BARAKAATUH.
