Has told us [Zakariya bin 'Adi] has told us [Yazid bin Zurai'] from [Daud bin Abu Hindun] from [Al Walid bin Abdurrahman] from [Jubair bin Nufair] from [Abu Dzar], he said; We once fasted with Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam in the month of Ramadan but he did not perform evening prayers with us in that month until there were only seven days left. Abu Dzar continued; "Then he performed evening prayers with us until a third of the night had passed." Abu Dzar continued; "On the sixth night (i.e. the twenty-fourth night from the beginning of Ramadan), he did not perform evening prayers with us, and on the fifth night (i.e. the twenty-fifth night from the beginning of Ramadan) he performed evening prayers with us until half of the last night had passed. We asked: "O Messenger of Allah, if you add sunnah prayers for us to the remainder of this night, then it would be better for us." He said: "Indeed, if someone prays with the imam until it is finished, it will be counted for him last night. too late for evening prayers." On the fourth night, namely the twenty-sixth night of the beginning of Ramadan, he did not perform evening prayers with us, and on the third night (which is the twenty-seventh day of the beginning of Ramadhan), he gathered his family and his wives and women, after that he prayed with us until we were worried that we would be left behind in falah." We ask; "What is falah?" Abu Dzar answered; "namely sahur." Abu Dharr said; "Then he did not perform evening prayers with us on the remaining days of that month." It has been told to us ['Ubaidullah bin Musa] from [Sufyan] from [Daud] from [Al Walid bin Abdurrahman Al Jurasyi] from [Jubair bin Nufair Al Hadhrami] from [Abu Dzar] like the hadith above.
