Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. مَنْزِلِهِ فَقَالَ هَلْ مِنْ غَدَاءٍ أَوْ مِنْ عَشَاءٍ شَكَّ طَلْحَةُ قَالَ فَأَخْرَجَ إِلَيْهِ فِلَقًا مِنْ خُبْزٍ فَقَالَ God willing هَاتُوهُ فَنِعْمَ الْإِدَامُ الْخَلُّ قَالَ جَابِرٌ فَمَا God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. فَمَا زِلْتُ أُحِبُّهُ مُنْذُ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ جَابِرٍ. Has told us [Yazid bin Harun] has told us [Al Mutsanna bin Sa'id] has told us [Thalhah bin Nafi' Abu Sufyan] has told us [Jabir bin Abdullah], he said; One day the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam took me by the hand towards his house, then he said: "Is there lunch - or dinner?" Talhah was doubtful about the redaction of the hadith - Talha said; He was then served a piece of bread, he asked: "Isn't there any sauce?" They answered; "No, just a little vinegar." Then he said: "Give it, the best side dish is vinegar." Jabir said; I have always liked vinegar since I heard about it from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. Then Abu Sufyan also said; I've always loved vinegar ever since I heard about it from Jabir. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 2nd hadith. God willing بِلَالٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you. It has been told to me [Yahya bin Hassan] has told us [Sulaiman bin Bilal] from [Hisyam bin 'Urwah] from [his father] from ['Aisyah] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam he said: "The best side dish is vinegar." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 3rd Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُم God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God. Has told us [Abu Nu'aim] has told us [Malik] from [Ishaq bin Abdullah bin Abu Talhah] from [Anas], he said; I saw the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam being given sauce mixed with Dubba` and beef jerky. Then I saw him looking for Dubba` and eating it." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 4th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُِ God willing God willing يَدَيْهِ. Has told us [Al Aswad bin 'Amir] has told us [Syu'bah] from [Qatadah] from [Anas], he said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam liked Qar'." Anas continued; "Then the qar' was served to him, then I took it and placed it in front of him." Qar' is a type of pumpkin plant. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 5th Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُم اللَّهِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ or God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَائْتَدِمُوا بِهِ وَادَّهِنُوا بِهْ شَجَرَةٍ مُبَارَكَةٍ. Has told us [Abu Nu'aim] has told us [Sufyan] from [Abdullah bin Isa] from ['Atha`] not Ibn Abu Rabbah, from [Abu Usaid Al Ansari], he said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Consume (olive) oil, make it a side dish and use it as oil, because indeed it comes from a blessed tree." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 6th Hadith. God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing الثُّومَ فَلَا يَأْتِيَنَّ الْمَسَاجِدَ. Has told us [Musaddad] has told us [Yahya bin Sa'id] from ['Ubaidullah] has told me [Nafi'] from [Ibn Umar] that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said during the battle of Khaibar: "Whoever eats from this tree, namely garlic, let him not come to the mosque." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 7th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing فَتَكَلَّفْنَا لَهُ طَعَامًا فِيهِ شَيْءٌ مِنْ بَعْضِ هَذِهِ God willing message God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. إِذَا لَمْ يُؤْذِ أَحَدًا فَلَا بَأْسَ بِأَكْلِهِ. Has told us [Ali bin Abdullah] has told us [Sufyan bin 'Uyainah] has told me ['Ubaidullah bin Abu Yazid] from [his father] that [Ummu Ayyub] has told him, he said; "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) stopped at our house, then we made food for him which contained something from this type of vegetable, when we served it to him, he didn't like it and said to his companions: "Eat it, because in fact I am not the same as any of you, I am afraid of disturbing my companions." Abu Muhammad said; "If you are not worried about disturbing anyone, then there is nothing wrong with eating it." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 8th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you God bless you فَلَمْ يَدْنُ فَقَالَ لَهُ أَبُو مُوسَى ادْنُ فَإِنِّي قَدْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing يَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ. Has told us [Abdullah bin Sa'id] has told us [Ibn 'Ulayyah] from [Ayyub] from [Al Qasim At Taimi] from [Zahdam Al Jarmi], he said; "We were once at Abu Musa's house, when he was serving rooster meat at his banquet, while among the people there was a man from Banu Taimullah Ahmar, the man did not want to come closer. [Abu Musa] said to him: "Come closer, because I have seen the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam once eat the meat of that rooster." (Degree: authentic. It has been reported to us by [Muhammad bin Yusuf] from [Sufyan] from [Ayyub] from [Abu Qilabah] from [Zahdam Al Jarmi] from [Abu Musa] that he mentioned a rooster. Then he said; "I once saw the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam eating it." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 10th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. أَوْ عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا تَصْحَبْ إِلَّا مُؤْمِنًا وَلَا يَأْكُلْ God willing. Has told us [Abdullah bin Yazid Al Muqri`] has told us [Haiwah] has told us [Salim bin Ghailan] that [Al Walid bin Qais] has told him, that he heard [Abu Sa'id] or [Abu Al Haitsam] from [Abu Sa'id Al Khudri] that he heard the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "Do not make friends except with people believers, and let no one eat your food except those who are pious." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 11th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing وَسَلَّمَ يَأْكُلُ الْقِثَّاءَ بِالرُّطَبِ. Has told us [Muhammad bin Isa] has told us [Ibraihim bin Sa'd] from [his father] from [Abdullah bin Ja'far], he said; I saw Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam eating cucumber with ruthab." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 12th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing الزُّبَيْرَ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. يَسْتَأْذِنَ الرَّجُلُ أَخَاهُ. Has told us [Abu Al Walid Ath Thayalisi] has told us [Syu'bah] has told us [Jabalah bin Suhaim], he said; "We were hit by a lean season in Medina, then Ibn Az Zubair gave us dates, while [Ibnu Umar] passed by us and said; "Do not combine two types of dates when eating, because the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade combining two types of dates when eating, unless someone asks permission from his brother." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 13th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَا عَائِشَةُ بَيْتٌ لَا God bless you أَوْ ثَلَاثًا. It has been reported to us [Abdullah bin Maslamah] has told us [Ya'qub bin Muhammad bin Thahla`] from [Abu Ar Rijal] from his uncle, namely ['Amrah] from ['Aisyah] the wife of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "O Aisyah, a house that does not have (a supply of) dates in it is a hungry house its occupants.' -or the occupants experience hunger- He said it two or three times. (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 14th Hadith. God willing بِلَالٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings يَجُوعُ أَهْلُ بَيْتٍ عِنْدَهُمْ التَّمْرُ. It has been reported to us [Yahya bin Hassan] has told us [Sulaiman bin Bilal] from [Hisyam bin 'Urwah] from [His father] from ['Aisha] that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "The inhabitants of a house that has (a supply of) dates in it will not starve." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 15th Hadith. God bless you God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing يُهَدِّيهِ وَقَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ or God bless you قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد يُهَدِّيهِ يَعْنِي يُهْدِي هَاهُنَا وَهَاهُنَا. Has told us [Abu Nu'aim] has told us [Mush'ab bin Sulaim], he said; I heard [Anas bin Malik] say; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam was once given a gift of dates, then he gave the dates as a gift. Anas continued; I saw Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam eating dates sitting on his buttocks and lifting his calves because he was hungry. Abu Muhammad said; "Yuhaddihi means giving gifts here and there." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 16th Hadith. God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings رِيحُ غَمَرٍ فَعَرَضَ لَهُ عَارِضٌ فَلَا يَلُومَنَّ إِلَّا نَفْسَهُ. Has reported to us ['Amr bin 'Aun] from [Khalid] from [Suhail] from [his father] from [Abu Hurairah], he said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Whoever still has the smell of meat fat on his hands while sleeping, and then something happens to him, then let him not blame anyone except himself." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 17th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. قَالَ لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ وَرَأَى عَلَيْهِ وَضَرًا مِنْ صُفْرَةٍ مَهْيَمْ قَالَ تَزَوَّجْتُ قَالَ أَوْلِمْ وَلَوْ بِشَاةٍ. It has been reported to us [Yazid bin Harun] has informed us [Humaid] from [Anas] that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said to Abdurrahman bin 'Auf, when he saw traces of yellow perfume: "What is this?" Abdurrahman answered; "I'm married." He said: "Make a wedding feast even if it is only with a goat." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 18th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing God willing يُقَالُ لَهُ مَعْرُوفٌ أَيْ يُثْنَى عَلَيْهِ خَيْرٌ إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ اسْمُهُ زُهَيْرَ بْنَ عُثْمَانَ فَلَا أَدْرِي مَا God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you love God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing love وَلَمْ يُجِبْهُ وَقَالَ أَهْلُ سُمْعَةٍ وَرِيَاءٍ. Has told us ['Affan] has told us [Hammam] has told us [Qatadah] from [Al Hasan] from [Abdullah bin Uthman Ats Tsaqafi] - from a man from Tsaqif who was blind in his eyes, he was usually mentioned for his goodness, meaning he was praised for his goodness, if I'm not mistaken his name was- [Zuhair bin Uthman] -I don't know what his real name was- he said; that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "The wedding party (held) on the first day is right, the second day is goodness and the third day is sum'ah and riya`." Qatadah said; has told me a man from Sa'id bin Al Musayyab that he was invited (to a wedding party) on the first day, then he fulfilled the invitation, and was invited on the second day, and he fulfilled the invitation, when he was invited on the third day, he threw pebbles at the messenger (the person who invited) and did not fulfill the invitation, Sa'id bin Musayyab then said; "people who do this are sum'ah and riya`." God willing تَرَكَ الدَّعْوَةَ فَقَدْ عَصَى اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ. Has told us [Abu Al Mughirah] has told us [Al Auza'i] from [Az Zuhri] from [Al A'raj] from [Abu Hurairah] that he said; "The worst food is wedding food, which only invites the rich, while the poor are left behind. Whoever does not accept the invitation, he has truly disobeyed Allah and His Messenger." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 20th hadith. Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَسَلَّمَ يَعْنِي فَدَعَاهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing عَنْهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَوْمَأَ إِلَيْهِ الثَّانِيَةَ وَأَوْمَأَ God willing عَنْهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَوْمَأَ إِلَيْهِ الثَّالِثَةَ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهْ قَالَ نَعَمْ فَانْطَلَقَ مَعَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعَائِشَةُ فَأَكَلَا مِنْ طَعَامِهِ. Having reported to us [Sa'id bin Sulaiman] from [Sulaiman bin Al Mughirah] from [Thabit] from [Anas], he said; A man who was making food came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) - he meant to invite him - so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "What is this?" The man gestured with his hand. Anas said; Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam asked him: "What about this?" he pointed to 'Aisyah. The man said; "Don't." Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam then turned away from him. The man gave a second signal and Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam also signaled to him and then turned away. And the person gave the signal a third time, then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to him: "And this woman?" The person said; "Yes." Then Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam and 'Aisha went with him and ate his food." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 21st Hadith. God bless you الْأَعْمَشْ God bless you لَحَّامٌ فَقَالَ اصْنَعْ لِي طَعَامًا أَدْعُو رَسُولَ اللَّهِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. فَدَعَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَامِسَ خَمْسَةٍ فَتَبِعَهُمْ or God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing لَهُ وَإِنْ شِئْتَ تَرَكْتَهُ قَالَ فَأَذِنَ لَهُ. Has reported to us [Muhammad bin Yusuf] from [Sufyan] from [Al A'masy] from [Abu Wa`il] from [Abu Mas'ud], he said; "A man named Abu Syu'aib had a slave who was good at cooking meat. Abu Syu'aib said to him; "Make food with five portions, I want to invite Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam." a (other) man who wants to come along. Now it's up to you, give permission or not." Abu Mas'ud replied, "then Abu Syu'aib gave him permission." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 22nd Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ or God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing الثَّرِيدِ عَلَى سَائِرِ الطَّعَامِ. Has told us ['Amr bin 'Aun] has told us [Khalid] from [Abu Thuwalah Abdullah bin Abdurrahman bin Ma'mar] from [Anas], he said; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "The superiority of Aisha over other women is like the superiority of porridge over all food." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 23rd Hadith. God willing God willing عَبْدُ اللَّهْ God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. Allah's blessings. Has told us [Ali bin Al Madini] has told us [Sufyan] has told us [Abdul Karim Abu Umayyah], he said; [Abdullah bin Al Harith bin Naufal] said; My father married me during Uthman's leadership. At that time he invited a group of friends of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. Among the invited guests was [Shafwan bin Umayyah], he was an old man, then he said; "Indeed, Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Bite the meat with the tip of your teeth, in fact it is more appetizing and more delicious." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 24th Hadith. أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُم God bless you رَسُولُ اللَّهْ مُتَّكِئًا. Has told us [Abu Nu'aim] has told us [Sufyan] from [Ali bin Al Aqmar] has told me [Abu Juhaifah], he said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "I never eat while leaning." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 25th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَِ God bless you قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي مَدِينَتِنَا وَفِي God willing God willing الْوِلْدَانِ. Has reported to us [Abu Nu'aim bin Hammad] from [Abdul Aziz bin Muhammad] from [Suhail] from [His father] from [Abu Hurairah], he said; When the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam was first given fruit, he said: "O Allah, bless us, our Medina, our fruit, our mud, our sha' with blessings accompanied by other blessings." Then he gave it to the youngest child who was present from among the children." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 26th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing أَحَدِكُما فَلْيُنَاوِلْهُ. Has told us [Ya'la] has told us [Isma'il bin Abu Khalid] from [his father] from [Abu Hurairah], he said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "When the servant of one of you comes with food, he should ask him to sit down, if the servant refuses, he should take food for him." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 27th Hadith. God willing مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهَ God bless you فَلْيُجْلِسْهُ مَعَهُ وَلْيُنَاوِلْهُ لُقْمَةً أَوْ لُقْمَتَيْنِ أَوْ أُكْلَةً أَوْ أُكْلَتَيْنِ فَإِنَّهُ وَلِيَ حَرَّهُ وَدُخَانَهُ. Has told us [Abu Al Walid] has told us [Syu'bah] from [Muhammad bin Ziyad], he said; I heard [Abu Hurairah] narrate from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "When the servant of one of you comes with food, he should ask him to sit with him, if the servant refuses, he should take him a bite or two, -or a meal or two- Because he is the one who takes care of the heat and smoke of the food." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 28th Hadith. God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings الْحَلْوَاءَ وَالْعَسَلَ. Has told us [Farwah bin Abu Al Maghra`] has told us [Ali bin Mushir] from [Hisyam bin 'Urwah] from [His father] from [Aisyah] radiallahu 'anha, he said; "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam liked sweet food and dates." (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ad-Darimi.) 29th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ الْبِرَازِ فَقُدِّمَ إِلَيْهِ طَعَامٌ فَقِيلَ God willing قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُم God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing. Has told us [Qabishah] has told us [Sufyan] from ['Amr bin Dinar] from [Sa'id bin Abu Al Huwairits] from [Ibn Abbas], he said; After defecating, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam was given a dish, then it was told to him; "Aren't you doing ablution?" He answered: "Will I pray until I have to perform ablution?" The narrator said; Abu Muhammad is Sa'id bin Al Huwairits, has told us [Abu Nu'aim] from [Sufyan bin 'Uyainah] from ['Amr bin Dinar] from [Sa'id bin Al Huwairits] from [Ibn Abbas], he said; I heard [Abu 'Ashim] tell from [Ibnu Juraij] from ['Amr bin Dinar] from [Sa'id bin Al Huwairits] from [Ibn Abbas] with the same sanad. Hadits ke-30. حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ الْحَكَمِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَجْنَبَ فَأَرَادَ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ أَوْ يَنَامَ تَوَضَّأَ. Has told us [Khalid bin Makhlad] has told us [Malik] from [Ibn Shihab] from ['Ubaidullah bin Abdullah] from [Ibn Abbas], he said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam was once asked about a rat that fell on ghee and died. Hadits ke-39. أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ كُنْتُ سَاقِيَ الْقَوْمِ فِي مَنْزِلِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ قَالَ فَنَزَلَ تَحْرِيمُ الْخَمْرِ قَالَ فَأَمَرَ مُنَادِيًا فَنَادَى فَقَالَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ اخْرُجْ فَانْظُرْ مَا هَذَا فَخَرَجْتُ فَقُلْتُ هَذَا مُنَادٍ يُنَادِي أَلَا إِنَّ الْخَمْرَ قَدْ حُرِّمَتْ فَقَالَ لِيَ اذْهَبْ فَأَهْرِقْهَا قَالَ فَجَرَتْ فِي سِكَكِ الْمَدِينَةِ قَالَ وَكَانَتْ خَمْرُهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْفَضِيخَ فَقَالَ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ قُتِلَ قَوْمٌ وَهِيَ فِي بُطُونِهِمْ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ { لَيْسَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ جُنَاحٌ فِيمَا طَعِمُوا إِذَا مَا اتَّقَوْا وَآمَنُوا } الْآيَةَ. Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Abu Nu'man] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hammad bin Zaid] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Tsabit] dari [Anas], ia berkata; Ketika aku menuangkan minuman di rumah Abu Thalhah. Anas melanjutkan; tiba-tiba turunlah (ayat) yang mengharamkan khamer. Kemudian beliau memerintahkan seseorang untuk menyeru, ia pun menyeru. Lalu Abu Thalhah berkata; "Keluarlah dan lihatlah ada apa itu?, " Akupun keluar, setelah itu aku berkata; "Itu adalah orang yang menyeru, ketahuilah bahwa khamer telah diharamkan." Abu Thalhah berkata kepadaku; "Pergi dan tumpahkanlah khamer tersebut." Anas berkata; "Berita itu kemudian tersebar ke seantero penjuru Madinah, khamer mereka saat itu adalah fadikh (khmer yang terbuat dari rendaman kurma pentil). Kemudian sebagian orang mengatakan; "Beberapa orang telah meninggal, sementara perut mereka masih terisi khamer." Maka Allah 'azza wajalla menurunkan ayat: Tidak ada dosa bagi orang-orang yang beriman dan mengerjakan amalan yang saleh karena memakan makanan yang telah mereka makan dahulu, apabila mereka bertakwa serta beriman.
