Nabi Ayyub

Ayyub was a prophet from the descendants of Abraham who was originally blessed with abundant wealth, a large family and health. Then Allah tested him repeatedly: his wealth ran out, his children died, and his body was stricken with disease for years until people avoided him - only his wife was the one who faithfully cared for him.

During his long illness, Ayyub never criticized fate. His prayer was composed politely, without protest: "(O my Lord), indeed I have been struck by illness, and You are the Most Merciful of all merciful." He did not make demands, just stated his situation and praised his God. Allah enshrined praise for him: "Indeed, We found him a patient man; the best of servants, indeed he was very obedient (to his Lord)."

Allah commanded him to stamp his feet: a cool spring gushed out for him to bathe and drink from, and he was healed. Allah returned his family and multiplied it as a mercy from Him and a lesson for people of understanding. To fulfill his oath to his wife without hurting her, Allah gave him leniency: hitting him with a bundle of grass — the leniency of the law for sincere servants.

Ayyub proves that disaster is not a sign of Allah's hatred; In fact, the test raises the status of the contented servant. His prayer manners taught him how to complain without suing, and his wife's loyalty taught him the meaning of a pious companion in the storms of life.

Ayyub was a servant who was rich, healthy, and had many descendants, but Allah tested him by spending his wealth, the death of his children, and chronic illnesses all over his body. For years, he endured suffering without the slightest complaint to anyone other than Allah, still doing dhikr and being patient, until he became a symbol of patience throughout the ages.

Ayyub prayed with high etiquette, without demanding, "Indeed, I have been struck by illness, and You are the Most Merciful God among the merciful." Allah answered, "Strike your feet; this is cool water for bathing and drinking." His illness was cured, his property and family were returned double as a mercy and warning to the worshipers. He was ordered to fulfill his oath in a light manner - "and We found him a patient man; the best of servants, indeed he was very obedient."

Ayyub taught that patience does not mean remaining silent without praying, but rather remaining dedicated to Allah at the peak of suffering, complaining only to Him with adab. Trials are a sign of Allah's love for chosen servants, and a good ending always accompanies patience.
