This book is written by Al-Dhahabi, and it is a detailed translation by Imam Muslim bin Al-Hajjaj Al-Qushayri, may God have mercy on him, with mention of the news of its authentic narrators. The book deals with his biography and the lives of his hadith narrators, and mentions the names of the scholars from whom Ibrahim bin Muhammad bin Sufyan, one of the narrators of Sahih Muslim, narrated. It also indicates his scientific and spiritual status among his peers.
