This book deals with prophetic hadiths that disparage theologians and its people, as they were selected by Imam Abu al-Fadl al-Muqri from Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Sulami’s response to the people of theology. The book focuses on hadiths that highlight the importance of avoiding exaggeration in speech and preferring contemplation of God’s creation over contemplation of God’s essence, relying on a series of hadith chains of transmission related to scholars and narrators.
