This book, “Victory for the Companions of Hadith,” by Al-Samani Abu Al-Muzaffar, deals with defending the Companions of Hadith and criticizing those who disparage them, explaining their virtue and the status of the science of hadith in the Islamic religion. The book focuses on urging Muslims to follow the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the community, and to reject innovation and division, relying in this on the Prophetic hadiths and legal evidence. It also points out the importance of acting on the hadith and transmitting it, and discusses the concept of reason and its role in religion among the Sunnis.
