This book, “The Quartet in Hadith” by Abd al-Ghani al-Azdi, is a classification of hadith parts that deals with hadiths in which the narrations of four companions or followers were combined, with each of them narrating directly on the authority of his companion. The author focuses on studying these rare hadiths that are united by a chain of transmission in the chain of transmission, reviewing examples of them and reviewing hadiths that were not mentioned by his predecessors in this field.
