This book is a response from Imam al-Hafiz Abd al-Rahman ibn Mandah to those who deny the alif, lam, and mem from the words of God Almighty, and it is classified among the hadith parts. In his book, the author addresses the issue of the literalism of Qur’anic words, citing the Prophet’s hadiths and linguistic rules to confirm that the alif, lam, and meem are among the letters written in the Holy Qur’an, and denies that they have any characteristic that other sects deny.
