The book “Fasting” by Al-Faryabi deals with the rulings on fasting the month of Sha’ban and its virtues, with mentioning of prophetic hadiths about the desirability of fasting during it and connecting it to Ramadan. The book also reviews hadiths on other rulings on Muslim fasts, such as the prohibition of intercourse during fasting, the recommendations for breaking the fast, and what it is recommended for a fasting person to break his fast with, with reference to the ruling on fasting while traveling.
