This book is part of the hadith sections. It deals with the narration of hadiths about major sins on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, by eleven companions. The author Al-Bardiji begins by narrating a hadith by Abdullah bin Masoud about major sins, where the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was asked about them and he answered that among the major sins are associating others with God, killing one’s father for fear that he will eat with him, and adultery with his neighbor’s partner. The book continues to mention the narrations of other companions on this subject.
