This book, “The Condemnation of Interpretation” by Sheikh al-Maqdisi Muwaffaq al-Din, deals with the subject of interpretation of the attributes of God Almighty, and mentions the doctrine of the Salaf in this regard. The author focuses on clarifying the names and attributes of God that the righteous predecessors followed, and calls for following them and imitating them in the afterlife. The book is a hadith book and aims to demonstrate the danger of wrong interpretation of the attributes of God Almighty.
