The book of forty about the forty and forty sheikhs

Translation

This book is a collection of forty hadiths transmitted from forty male and female companions, selected by Al-Muayyad bin Muhammad al-Tusi from the noble hadiths of the Prophet. The book deals with a group of important hadiths that carry virtues in their narration, reviewing the biographies of its sheikhs, prominent memorizers of the sixth century AH. Through this work, the author aims to imitate the imams of the predecessors in selecting useful and purposeful hadiths, while pointing out the virtues mentioned in the narration of the forty hadiths from the Prophet’s hadiths.
