هذا الكتاب يتناول نسب وأحداث عائلة آل الجرباء، ويستعرض رحلتهم من جنوب الجزيرة العربية إلى الشمال، وانتقالهم إلى العراق، مع التركيز على أفراد بارزين من العائلة وفروعها المختلفة. يستند المؤلف في بحثه إلى الرواية الشفوية والشعر العامي لتعزيز المعلومات التاريخية المتاحة، ويهدف إلى تقديم صورة شاملة لدور آل الجرباء في بناء الهوية الوطنية في العراق وسوريا، مع الإشارة إلى بعض السلبيات التي ارتبطت بوجودهم في تلك المناطق.
Translation
This book deals with the lineage and events of the Al-Jarbaa family, and reviews their journey from the south of the Arabian Peninsula to the north, and their move to Iraq, with a focus on prominent members of the family and its various branches. In his research, the author relies on oral narration and colloquial poetry to enhance the available historical information, and aims to present a comprehensive picture of the role of the Al-Jarba family in building national identity in Iraq and Syria, while pointing out some of the negatives that were associated with their presence in those regions.
