Translation
The book “The Series of Names and Attributes” by Muhammad al-Hasan al-Dado al-Shanqeeti deals with topics of the Islamic faith related to the names and attributes of God. The book focuses on God's transcendence of the manifestations of union with His creation, and discusses the theories of the unity of existence and the unity of witnesses. It also deals with atheism in the names and attributes of God, and denies the existence of a companion, father, and child to God Almighty. The book explains the categories of people in understanding the divine attributes, and reviews the Salaf’s approach to understanding the predicative attributes, distinguishing between the words of the Salaf and the successor in this area. The book is automatically numbered and aims to prove the divine attributes, provided that there is no adaptation, representation, distortion or interpretation.
