Translation

The book “Following the Sunnahs and Avoiding Heresies” by the writer Dia al-Din al-Maqdisi falls within the classification of faith, and aims to direct the reader to adhere to the Sunnah of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and stay away from innovations. The book addresses multiple topics, including the prohibition of being alone with a non-mahram, the rulings on looking at women, and abstaining from singing, musical instruments, and dancing, based on the sayings of the Prophet’s hadiths. It highlights the importance of piety and adherence to the Sunnah of the Rightly Guided Caliphs as a means of steadfastness in religion.
