This book, “The Imamate and the Response to the Rafidah,” by the author Abu Naim Al-Asbahani, is classified under the classification of doctrine. The book is considered one of the most important historical and jurisprudential sources in understanding and interpreting the doctrine of imamate and caliphate in Islam, and it contains an index of contents that shows the author’s orientation towards the topics of the book. The book begins by mentioning the Caliphate and the Commander of the Faithful, Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, then talks about the Shiites and presents different opinions about the Imamate, and the author tries to prove the correctness of these opinions. The Prophet said
That the book be written for them because of their differences and confusion
Rather, he missed the day of the ditch
If it was permissible for anyone, it would be the Messenger of God
On the Day of the Trench, they occupied us with prayers, so the Messenger of God commanded
I had hardly prayed until it had almost set, he said, so the Messenger of God said
I think he said to Buthan, “Let us perform ablution for prayer.” We performed ablution for it and he prayed
He said: Abu Bakr is the best of God’s creation
If I had taken a friend, I would have taken Abu Bakr as a friend, but he is my brother
He says to the supporters
He says that day, meaning the day of Uhud, made Talha obligatory
