كتاب التوحيد للمتريدي يُعنى بعقيدة التوحيد في الإسلام، حيث يرفض التقليد الأعمى ويؤكد وجوب معرفة الدين بالدليل المستند إلى السمع والعقل. يتناول المؤلف في فصوله مسائل تتعلق بصفات الله، والوجود والخلق، ومفهوم العرش والرؤية، إضافة إلى مناقشة آراء فقهاء ومفكرين مختلفين. يبرز العمل منهجاً عقلانياً في استدلال العقيدة، مستنداً إلى العيان والأخبار والنظر كسبل للوصول إلى العلم. ويختتم الكتاب ببيان اختلاف الفرق في العالم وطرق التوحيد.

Translation

Kitab al-Tawhid by al-Mutridi is concerned with the doctrine of monotheism in Islam, as it rejects blind imitation and affirms the necessity of knowing the religion with evidence based on hearing and reason. In its chapters, the author deals with issues related to the attributes of God, existence and creation, and the concept of the throne and vision, in addition to discussing the opinions of different jurists and thinkers. The work highlights a rational approach to reasoning about belief, based on eyes, news, and theory as ways to reach knowledge. The book concludes by explaining the differences in sects in the world and the methods of monotheism.
