This book, “The Response to Burdah,” by Abdullah Aba Butin, is part of the classification of doctrine. The book begins with an introduction to the author, as he is known as the Mufti of the Najdi lands, and talks about the importance of the word monotheism in Islam. The author points out that people have been divided into two groups: a group that has been guided to the correct belief in monotheism, and a group that has gone astray into polytheism and heresies. It indicates that Al-Busiri, the author of the Burdah, was a poet and not a scholar of Islamic law, and thus he went astray in the concepts. The author points out that Al-Busiri has woven misguidance and suspicions into his apostasy, and talks about the importance of jihad with the sword of words and statement in repelling the plots of enemies.
