Translation
The book “The Spirit in Discourse on the Souls of the Dead and the Living” by Sheikh Ibn al-Qayyim is a doctrinal work that deals with issues of the soul in Islam. It raises a group of issues about knowing the dead to visit the living, the meeting of souls, the fate of the soul after separation, and the torment of the grave. The author relies on texts from the authentic Sunnah to clarify the doctrine of the nation’s predecessors and remove false concepts related to the soul and the afterlife. It aims to clarify the Islamic doctrine about the life of the soul between this world and the afterlife.
