The book “The Sunni Idea and the Need for It” by Sheikh Muhammad Ishaq Al-Siddiqi is a doctrinal work that sheds light on the concept of the Sunni idea and its importance in the life of a Muslim. Through its chapters, the book deals with submission in thought and action, and reviews the Sunni idea in its natural and psychological nature, in addition to the method of thinking, the principles followed, and historical examples that support his argument. It aims to illustrate how ideas and doctrines should be in harmony with God's commands in all aspects of life.
